Extremely slow, I mean extremely slow, with the all the construction in the city and thia place is slow. That is a really bad sign for a labour shop.. So if your a worker Aviod this place. Goto more established shops like TLC or Labour Unlimited... If your a new, experienced and or laid off worker this isn't the shop for you to re affirm how slow this labour shop. They will make you sit a day or two just in case someone drops from a job. Nick the General Manager I assume asked me to show up for 5:45am once and the shop wasn't even opened until 6am.

They are a bunch of lazy and demanding dispatchers that don’t give a %#%# about the people that work for them; whatever makes their day easier-excluding the new west office-

Hands down worst place to work for they treat you like a slave and show no respect you can be there at 6 am and you’ll Just sit there for hours when he will keep taking people before you

With old management, in the downtown office, you get a mean girls vibe. Also, they think because they pay you what they pay you, you can’t say no to certain job sites

I do not recommend it. If you are a professional trader or hard worker, you have better chances. They don't have much work and amuse themselves by turning you back; you might be too proud of yourself for them. Do you have time for that?

Throughout my job search, I learned that the process should not be taken personally, but rather requires patience and self-confidence in one's own abilities. Owning a small business we didn't have resources to unload a 40' container in a timely fashion. We required 3 able bodied workers for 5 hours to relocate 2,000 large glass aquariums. They turned up, they did the job, no one was hurt , product is where i wanted it , no damage. What else can i say these guys promised to deliver and delivered the promise the way it should be and unfortunately isn't common these days. 10/10 for Employment Specialists.

When I turned 19, I let part of my rent pile up and I was in a really really bad spot. I showed up at E.S. with nothing except a pair of boots and they made sure to help me get back on my feet one day at a time as long as I showed up on time.
Now I’m 24 and found myself without a job temporarily so I decided to come back and the new team here is even more amazing than a few years ago…as long as you treat them with respect, these people will show you love.

I just started working for this temp agency. I am returning to work after being off due to injury. The first time they send me out, they send me to a job that has no safety protocols in place for drilling & cleaning concrete and silica dust. I was not advised to take a respirator or masks, I luckily did take my respirator and used 4 cartridges of my own to save my own lungs. Silica dust can be deadly and cause serious lung issues. I asked to be reimbursed as it should not cost me to go to work for this temp agency and the receptionist BB was not helpful or respectful. I went out on another job for them and it was acceptable for them to email me the ticket and get signed but not acceptable for me to email the signed timecard back as I was not sure I would make it back to the office in time before closing, the was site quite a ways away from the office. I was advised that I couId bring the ticket in anytime and get paid, I did manage to get to the office in time before closing and was advise that if had not returned the ticket in 7 days I would have worked for free they would not pay me after 7 days. I again requested my reimbursement for the respirator cartridges from the first job they sent me on the first time I ever worked for them and BB the receptionist was again very unprofessional and as we were discussing the payment, BB watched another client steal from me right in front of her while we were discussing and would not tell me who stole my stuff. This is not a reputable business and does not have reputable people BB the receptionist working them. If BB (the receptionist) allows clients to steal from any of their clients without speaking up its speaks volumes of the character of the people that work for this company. The clients that they place are making them money and putting a paycheque in their hands. I would not recommend this employment agency for anyone there are tons of employment agencies that are reputable and value the clients they place and do not allow or condone stealing of any kind. This employment agency or BB the receptionist does condone stealing from clients. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY ITS NOT REPUTABLE.

Allison by far is the best recruiter I've ever worked with! While this was my first time using Headhunters, I've lost count the number of recruiters I've worked with in the past -- enough to know that they're not all cut from the same cloth. Allison was always friendly and prompt with communication. She was also transparent throughout the process while offering tips or advice for each step of the way. And when it came down to a competitive offer situation, I truly appreciated her support in determining the best fit for me, even though it meant possibly losing out on commission for her. In the end, I went with the role she recruited me for and her follow up check-in my first week on the job was a welcomed touch. Counselors at Metrotown- WorkBC have genuine interest about our(clients) success. Thanks to Ms.Ada's Resume Writing techniques, both of us managed to secure jobs easily. Even one of the peers in our group said he found this Metrotown center very friendly and effective.

The ES team has always been helpful in finding me steady workers. I find they treat the workers better than other agencies i have used and the guys seem to show up happy. They have always found me good people when I needed them and they have lined me up with a few full time people too. They dont charge for hiring workers !! If you are going to work for a temp labor agency in Vancouver this is the one to go with. The staff there are great to deal with and in my experience have never failed to place me on a quality site. I would still be working for them if I hadn't been hired on full time by one of those sites ;)

Great place if you want to get work almost every day of the year! Great for daily work or if your looking for somethin more stable. Get out on the job site with no strings attached, make a good impression and most of the time local trades will see your hard work and perhaps offer you a full time job!

Highly recommend for short or long term work. Paid daily! I've been working for them for about 5 months now and I love it.

Ordered Labourers on short notice. The workers were shuttled to my site and arrived before we started. They worked hard and efficiently all day. We're picked up by the shuttle at the end of the day. I had a great overall experience with this company and plan to use them again in the future.

Way better than the other two agency's I've been to, located in the same neighbourhood. I went in last June and I've been to the same site the entire time. I've received two raises and several job offers. It's amazing how well a person can be treated if they simply show up, on time, sober, with proper work clothes and equipment (like safety boots). Easy work.
