Amazing pizza here! The food is perfect every time and they have so many different really great flavors! The owners and employees are very nice people and I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
This place is long-standing and very outdated. ordered butter chicken and garlic naan. only good thing was the smell. the butter chicken was very tangy and no taste. seemed like it was very tomato based and not a makani base. The garlic naan was rubber and thing.

No sure i will be coming back.

Oh my god, i was in the middle of a divorce when i came to Q Pizza in royal oak at 2:00am, not only did it clear my mind and help me solidify my choice to leave her and the kids, but it gave me the peace of mind to accept how great everything is and move to the Turks and Caicos. Never in my life have i had such a mind boggling experience.

Thank you to all those involved.

I have never been to the actual establishment. But the food that I ordered was absolutely spectacular and honestly makes me upset. Because now I want every place to provide food at the level. You have a customer for life with this food. Definitely would recommend this to anybody that likes pizza, pasta or even just a delicious brownie.

Ordered aloo naan, samosa chaat and chhole bhature. The exact spice level that i was looking for. Amazing food, will definitely come here again. Oh and they make fresh chai too. The overall experience was really really good.
Food is ok. However it is no where near as good or as authentic as other places around. I got the vindaloo. It was not vindaloo, rather basically just extra spicy butter chicken. Go to any other Indian places in the area if you want authentic tasting food. Overall 6/10

We take out pizza here quite often. The pizza is always really good and the next day, if you look at the box where the pizza was or the remaining portions are, the box has almost no grease stain. I've had lots of pizza from other places and the pizza is so greasy that box becomes very saturated. We never order extra cheese because there is more cheese than other places "extra cheese". Excellent pizza...
Been ordering the chicken biryani for years.
Grabbed Doordash, unable and equally unwilling to attempt to go out and pick up
Door dash had no option to specify to the restaurant that while I wanted the whole Indian flavor, I only required very Caucasian level heat. I didn't bother to call to ask, I just wanted this plate. It arrived, I took five bites, and I began weeping, whether it was with the full fist of Indian spices and heat in my face or joy just to have this meal, I know not yet. But even though my lips are tingling, its still the best plate of biryani I have ever had, and I have achieved Moksha tonight 🙏🤤

The menu has a lot of unique options. It’s a great price for quality pizza! We have ordered here quite a few times. We had a mix up with ingredients one time and the staff was so friendly and promptly replied and resolved! Great service. I will be a repeat customer. Highly recommended.
Tandoori Tadka is hands down the best when it comes to flavors and generous portions. The taste of their dishes is unmatched, and you won't be disappointed by the quantity of food served. It's my favorite spot for a satisfying and flavorful food. Highly recommended these guys.
We went to the this restaurant but the food service was worsen like food. We ordered chicken firstly they didn’t even served on time and were not sure about it that we have ordered it or not. Secondly we ordered food accordingly the veggies quantity so we have to wait for it our rest food was not fresh that reduced its overall taste. Talking about the chicken its colour was red like some colour have been added to it and its taste was not good.we also ordered paneer pakoras but one can feel through the taste that oil was not properly heated before making them. Overall not good experience in indian food in victoria 😕😕😕.
I enjoyed the butter chicken and daal tanka each time I come. The best Indian food I have had in Ottawa.

The value is in the food. It is counter service and a simple dining area. If you are looking for a date night, leave the kids with grandparents, bring it home and settle in with Netflix.
Delicious food! Excellent quality! I have tried quite a number of dishes and they are delicious! I used to visit this place in person prior to the pandemic and can attest to great service and great atmosphere. Today, I order and pick up. You will not be disappointed.

What is a sign of good food and service? Repeat customers. This restaurant has that and more.

I have tried other local restaurants. There is no comparison. I always come back.

I definitely recommend Signature Indian Cuisine.
Ordered butter chicken, rice and garlic nann.
Got a HUGE serving of all 3,plus some kind of salad and all came to 26 bucks....I haven't got this much food for 26 bucks in a long time.
Butter chicken from this place is excellent!!!! I asked for spicy, came just perfect, I love it spicy!
Garlic nann perfect, rice perfect, everything absolutely delicious!!!
Will be back soon.

Food was excellent the night before but next visit 5 staff stood around at the entrance far more concerned with their cell phone and gossip. Apparently more interested with online customers than one client walking in. Place was empty but tables not wiped, no smiles and no service. I walked out again and went somewhere else.
Warm ambiance and impeccable service. From the tantalizing appetizer to the signature dessert, each dish showcases culinary excellence. Sandeep and Harsh are excellent with there hospitality.
Samosa was delicious. Nice green chutney as well.
I have ordered from them a few times. They are one of the few Indian restaurants that have modified the food for me. I ordered something that wasn't part of their menu and they made it fresh for me. The food also tastes very good and is never spicy. I have ordered from other restaurants and told them to keep it mild and yet they make it very spicy.
Really tasty food - got the butter chicken, Shahi paneer, Samosa chat and Chicken pakora. The garlic naan too was really good!
Lovely cosy little restaurant with a big curry choice was just the ticket on a cold wet November night and Moksha did not disappoint! Their very reasonable prices and their wide choice of dishes presented me with many options but I went with my old favorite of a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was excellent 👌👌. Presentation was amazing with a good serving of Rice, a nice bowl of curry, a side of spicy vegetable and a Popudum artfully shaped like a swan! The curry was very tasty and although only a medium spice level I enjoyed the thick creamy sauce along with a Garlic Naan. This was a very very good curry and I highly recommend a visit to Moksha. I will be back for sure!

Walked by tons of times as I live in the area. Decided I wanted Indian yesterday and popped in on my way home. The fellow at the front was great. I really like Naan so he recommended the chicken Naan, which was really good. I got butter chicken and Tandoori chicken. The butter chicken was great, the tandoori was a little undercooked, but the flavor was good. Will definitely go back to try a few more dishes.
Ordered 2 plates of veg Momos paid 28$ for take out . They packed 12 Momos in one box and it doesn’t even look like momos not matched the taste. Price is high if you compare the quality and taste . Will never try again.

The service was quick but the food was not super authentic and pretty expensive given the average portion size. The butter chicken wasn't as creamy as I expected, and had a bit of overpowering tomato flavor, the mango lassi tasted like pure yogurt (did not taste any mango at all), and was quite underwhelming. It was extra for nann and they charged $10. When I asked if rice is included initially they said no, so we ordered nann, once the nann came they said that they can now provide rice on the house, which makes me wonder if they strategically said that after because we already ordered naan...? In total we paid $85 for two meals, some nann and a non-alcoholic drink, the food wasn't bad but I just expected more for the price.

To start off, I must say this is the best butter chicken I’ve tasted so far in ottawa. I’ve been to many Indian restaurants, and this place takes the cake. The naan is absolutely delicious and fresh, went perfectly with the meal.

The portions for the price however, are terrible. I seen the reviews for this place and noticed bigger bowls when ordering the butter chicken considering it’s like 25$? We got a small white bowl, not even what I see in the pictures posted online… the service wasn’t great at all. When asking questions about certain times on the menu, there was a young Indian girl who kept telling me she doesn’t know, and went to go grab another waitress to help us. Your staff should be educated on the menu if they are going to be in the front of house. No one checked to see how things were until the end of our meal.

My husbands meat on his assorted platter was very dry, he didn’t even finish his meal. That was a 35$ dish… seeing the other comments on here, I see that’s a normal issue here. The rice was made in a rice cooker, you can tell because it’s very sticky and seems like it was a 5 minute rice. We saw a local influencer posting videos/pictures of the food here and we were really looking forward to the experience but it just wasn’t what it was hyped up to be.
I food didn’t taste or smell good. Price was high. Also they charged tips without even consulting us and we had to pay that. Will never go there.
2nd time ordering via Skip and I have to say I'm pretty damn happy. I am newish to Abby and desperately needed a good Indian place and nothing I tried was good. All were super oily and gross. This place has been consistently great. Can't wait to try more.

The food was worse than mediocre. We ordered chicken tikka masala and kadai paneer with tandoori and butter naans.

1. The paneer was taken out from frozen packets and then it was microwaved and then it was blended with mustard seeds. I've never seen any authentic paneer dish to go with mustard seeds.

2. Then the chicken tikka masala was more like chicken curry.

3. The naan were dry and rubbery, something you can't even chew properly.

4. Even though price of the naan and everything was on the menu, the final bill was charged more than what was shown on the menu. Upon asking the waiter, she said naan prices suddenly went up.

5. Ottawa seriously needs better Indian restaurants. Even if i had no other option, i would not recommend to go to this restaurant for Indian or any kind of food.

6. The location doesn't even have free parking, it's more like in home project than the restaurant. Someone just thought to use their living room as diner and started this hideous place.

Don't let other reviews fool you.
Marlea and I had a late lunch on Friday , it was great to dine in again here at Moksha . Amazing food and superb service by Ruchi . We had Masala Fries Supreme to start ( OMG, they were Ultimate !!) Then Marlea had Daal Makani & I had Bindi . It was so good , we sure missed coming here, as we moved to a another town . We'll be back everytime we visit Niagara Falls. Awesome Vegan selection 👌🏼
I went in because the smell was so good when I was in the parking lot, I do not regret it. Lots of choices but the man working there suggested chicken Tikka masala and it was really tasty, I will be returning to try more of their food.
We had the most AMAZING experience here for our friends bachelorette party! The food was PHENOMENAL and the staff was EXCEPTIONALLY KIND! They accommodated a large party of 11, and made it very special for our friends night. It is absolutely worth the visit, you will NOT regret it! I would give 6 stars if it was possible! Thank you so much to the staff, management and owners!

Not the worst, far from the best. I honestly expected a bit of rice or Naan (I did order some) with a Main dinner item. I ordered Chicken Tika which came dry with literally 3 slivers of cabbage and Goat Coconut Curry, which I guess was soup because it was mainly sauce, and none of it tasted like coconut. The Naan was okay (probably the best thing in the order), and the Mango Pickle was actually Chutney (total waste of money); No Pickle.
We ordered a tomato soup, honey garlic naan, two paneer dishes and the Aloo gobhi. While very tasty, the spice level was pretty extreme for three out of four of us, detracting from the experience (especially since no one checked on us to offer water refills, forcing us to get up and ask for more food on our own.) the restaurant interior was pretty with a nice mix of Indian and American pop music playing, but the benches had visible rips and a big fly buzzing around was def a downer. Overall tasty food, but service could be better and interior could use some refreshing

Just picked up garlic naan from there. I don’t know if they changed their recipe or way of cooking but they are not good at all. As you can see in picture there is barely any garlic on them and they are so thin like roti.

Food was good, their fish pakora and malai chicken tikka is must try, so far best fish pakora in victoria. Staff is so friendly and plus point is open till late. Their curries was nice. Food was made fresh, you can tell by the taste. Service is good, ambience is good.
my friend suggested this. they delivered us a too bad food and service is also.. staff are also too rude. they even not agree that they delivered that type of momos . i not suggest anybody to go there for momos.
Thanks
This was an amazing place to eat!! The flavors was so good ate here 2 times while visiting. Would highly recommend. The service was great!
I have been going to this restaurant for several years. The quality of food is unmatched. The eating experience is complimented by friendly, educational and passionate staff. Anybody I bring to this restaurant is blown away that food of this caliber is hiding in the middle of Whitby. They are usually equally shocked when the bill for two looks like most restaurants' bill for one. I love this restaurant. The chef and staff put their hearts and souls into their product.
Karara is an absolutely amazing Indian take out spot. The food is so delicious and could be customized to our flavour. I like my food spicy and they have been making some of the most flavored and spiced dishes that I can imagine. So much variety and I can't think of any place better in town to go for lunch. The staff is very respectful and polite to customers. And finally I'd like say when it comes to cleanliness they have it kept top class and well maintained.

Thank you Karara.
Absolutely delicious food and amazing Service. We had Malai Kofta, Naan and Roti.

Owner is such a lovely lady. It was great meeting and talking with her.
Everything is 5/5

We've been searching for a new Indian joint ever since we lost Namaste during the pandemic. We've tried plenty of places across the city and while they've all been good, none have quite hit the same. Took us to the first bite to establish Curry Palace as our new regular place. Amazing deep roasty flavour on the butter chicken, good portions, good price, surprisingly good spring rolls.
Delicious chicken biryani, I’ve had better but this is pretty good as well. Chicken very tender!
It was late and hardly had much Indian food options at night so i ordered through skip- Goat curry, naan and salad. The packet was full of oil. Everything in the carry bag was soaked in oil.
Finally when i opened the container i saw still half bowl of oil floating on top.Drained it and tasted the food. Curry was tasty. Not what i expected. The salad was full of cabbage🤦‍♀️..
one thing i liked was they packed papad too in a balloon like bag but don’t know how did they inflate the bag🤷🏻‍♀️I hope not blown air from mouth.
This thought actually did not let me try papad but the curry was good. Naan were ok.
Except the taste of curry, the entire experience was unpleasant.

Today I ordered Amritsari naan kulcha and the naan was so thick and so spicy that I had tears coming down. Every time I order food from this place I am always DISAPPOINTED. I think you guys should lower your prices if your food is going to taste like GARBAGE. I spend so much money on this place every two week but this place always disappointed me. Last time I ordered dahi bhalla and chat papri and there was no yogurt and they bhalla were not breaking into half. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON’T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE because it is just a waste of your money.
We come from Montreal to get momos from here . Definitely worth it !
It’s not so expensive, but we always spend a lot coz it’s all soo good .

Must try Afghani chicken momos and tandoori chicken momos .
Great environment.

No place to sit. But they have a standing table to eat in the restaurant.

Good portion & tastes great!

I’ve ordered from here several times now, was first introduced to this place from a colleague that recommended their momos. Have tried the chicken & paneer momos, mixed veg curry, and lamb curry. No disappointment!

Haven’t had a chance to dine in… only takeout so far. I wish they opened earlier though, would definitely order more often for lunch.
Excellent fresh food. Everything is ready for pickup in half an hour. We love butter chicken and nan bread of course, but there is so much more, from okra to spinach with cheese and various other dishes. Food is so tasty, it's like a party in your mouth. Well located on Merivale with convenient parking. Try it and I am sure you will go back for more.

The server suggested things that we did not want, like suggesting to buy more things than we needed. More naan and more rice namely. It came off as trying to get as much money out of us as possible. The meat in our dishes were dry and not very good. Prices are a few dollars more than other similar indian places. Probably not coming back with other options in Ottawa.
I ordered a simple daal soup. They do not offer any complimentary stuff no rice or anything. The amount was too small. I am little disappointed paid $9.64 for this.
I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews but decided to give this a try. We had a great experience, from the food to service. Staff was really friendly and service was quick.
We went for lunch on a weekend and opted to sit on the patio. The patio was empty and the place wasn't crowded, probably because we went for a late lunch.
In terms of food, we ordered corn dogs, chicken kabab, dal makhani and karahi paneer. I will absolutely recommend the chicken and corn dogs. The portion size was really good and the food tasted delicious.
Zero complaints from my experience.
Everything was great as usual and will be back for more. My wife tried Indian food for the first time being in Canada and loved the food. Thank you 😊

Editing my review to add that we have ordered another time and the portions were a lot better. They were properly filled and had a sprinkle of cilantro- something our first order didn’t have.

Excellent Indian restaurant with one of the best butter chickens in town. We have now tried the restaurant a handful of times and I noticed the portions are never consistent. Sometimes the container is filled as expected and other times it’s only half filled. Sometimes there an adequate amount of chicken, other times there’s only a couple of pieces. I tried Taj after seeing many influencers speak highly of the restaurant and while the food was good, unfortunately they miss the mark when it comes to portion sizes.

I do hope the owners provide consistency as we plan on supporting this restaurant very often.

We ordered Kadhai Chicken, Kadhai Paneer, Malai Kopata and 8 Garlic Naans. Most of the naan was burnt and the rest of the items were ok (I can't say good or great).

The most important improvement they need is in customer service. The girl who was taking orders and payments was not greeting customers. In fact, she did not let us know when the food was ready. We definitely don't want to come back.

Amazing family run restaurant. I’ve been some of the best restaurants in a couple cities in India. This restaurant is a hidden gem, and I haven’t been to any Indian restaurant that can compete with this restaurant, on every level. I hope folks in Ottawa truly appreciate how good each and every dish is.

Will definitely be eating here every time I’m in Ottawa - thanks!
Guys, its not good. Super oily, chutney has artifical color in it. Pakoras are burnt... food doesnt taste that great...quality just is very poor.
....

Good tasting food, but there were some issues: We had ordered takeout but our rice was forgotten. Can't eat all that curry without rice so we had to drive all the way back to pick it up. Once we opened all the food I was sadly surprised at how small the portions were. For $140 I was expecting enough food to feed my family of four. It was barely enough. The platters had plenty of sauce but only a few morsels of chicken or beef in each dish.
While the sauce was tasty, there wasn't enough meat to satisfy my sons. In summary, the food was flavourful, but portions were not substantial enough to justify the price. Anyone can make a mistake and forget something in an order, but it really affects the experience when you have to drive all the way back, and the food is all cold by the time you sit down to eat. Too bad, I was hoping to like this place.

Updated review:

Well, I didn't want to have to update my review, but here we are...

Recently, they switched the pepperoni from large and put under the cheese pepperoni, to small on top of the cheese pepperoni, which also seems cheaper based on the taste and how greasy and thin they are. I'm definitely disappointed and will not be back as much for the walk-in special as I have been unless this was some random occurrence where maybe they had just not received a shipment of their normal pepperoni, hopefully the owner will respond to this review to confirm.

Original:

What can I say? Well, it's hard to mess up a pizza... and these guys didn't. In fact, they offer quite a few unique options involving Indian favors from tandoori chicken and paneer to butter chicken and Tikka as well, along with all the usual toppings of pizza yhe crust is nice and fresh, and they are fairly generous with the ingredients. They could have used more of the sausage on the meat lovers. The 1 to 2 sausage slices per slice of pizza was a little disappointing, but the taste was still good. Overall, I liked it and will be back.

Overpriced as compared to competitors, I just came from Panchvati, which is a few blocks away, and prices are lower there vs. here. The rest store was not clean, and lots of stuff was disorganized, but that's with every Indian and Pakistani store, as you want to cramp everything in little space possible. If you want to save money, try a different store.

My family had been ordering take out here since the pandemic started. The quality of food was on and off. It can really be good on occasions and also bad. But the good usually outweighs the cons. I was extremely disappointed with the food quality today. We ordered bhindi masala, aloo gobi, veggie vindaloo, veggie khorma and butter chicken. It tasted funny, old and over cooked. The okra /ladyfingers was extremely salty and spicy when we told them very, very mild. I wish we dined in and we probably would have received better food and given us fresh food. It looked like leftovers. All the veggies were disintegrating. I kid you not. We usually do not have leftovers but today there were plenty of it. I would think twice in ordering food here again after this unfortunate experience. The quality just went downhill. The price doesn’t justify the flavours. Wasted $$ Check out the photos.

The place is pricey meaning $10/$13 dollars more per plate for a specific dish but the portion size was good and taste was amazing. I would recommend at least try it once. Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Bhunna are the best!
Went to this restaurant while returning back from Ottawa!
Wondering why there is lots of 5 star reviews 🤷 seriously guys that’s not true for me!

Tried their biryani absolutely worst, and the prices are insane! Kadai chicken is tasteless and only thing that we liked is their fish appetizer.

I would not recommend eating biryani here and chicken curries.

Had heard quite a bit about this restaurant so I decided to try it out with a friend.
As we arrived , the restaurant was half empty on a Sunday midday. We decided to order 2 dishes to share and some nan.
Decore is plein, with some basic carved wood panels on the sides. Table top acrylic protector is a nice touch for easy cleaning.
All dishes starting minimum $19.95 and the potion is small!!! Not to mention it does not come with rice. Need to order $5 extra for a small portion. Nan $5-7 ……..
spent over $68 before tips ……. For 2 main plates with rice and nan. Definitely not worth it cause the lamb curry was not even that flavourful …….
Very disappointed. Over priced Indian food……. Will not be back here again.

One of the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India. I highly highly recommend this place. Literally the tastiest kadhai paneer all around the world. The naan was sooo good!!! I would like to meet their chef and thank her or him!
Not quite impressed with the quality and service. Falooda was pre-made, just added ice-cream. Cup was not even full and was given thin straw which made it hard to enjoy it. Noodle burger is decent but with a mushy bun.

The owner of this place is great, and the food is the best Indian food I've had in Ottawa by far. I rave about their food every chance I get. For some reason, there was a mix-up about them discontinuing their indo-chinese menu, and even though their Momos are our favourite, we thought we'd give it another shot for the rest of the menu. Happy to say the legendary momos are still around, and the rest of the menu is also better than most other Indian restaurants.

I ordered take out for this location. They are pretty quick and probably was less than 20 minutes to pick up. I ordered plain Naan and lamb Rogan Josh.

The Naan was delicious and tasted great by itself. 3 large pieces for $3 was well worth it.

The lamb was piping hot and very flavourful. The sauce complemented the rice well. The lamb wasn't as tender as I would like it to be but it could gave been based on the cut too.

Amazing service and a gentleman toke care of us since we entered until we left
This is probably some of the worst Indian take out I've ever had. The butter chicken was made barely spiced and runny. It was literally just a tomato sauce. The chicken pieces in it were over cooked and not in the sauce. They were huge dry and flavorless. The Naan is deep fried ....DEEP FRIED! The white rice was fine I guess but can't absorb any sauce. Just so poorly executed and a huge let down for almost 30$ for 2 people when we could just get pizza.

This Authentic Infian cuisine is a gem.
My husband and I got the Chicken Momos, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Zeera Rice, Garlic Naan and Gulab Jamun. All of the food that we ordered was cooked to perfection, flavorful, absolutely delicious and came in huge portions. On top of that their staff were so friendly, Arsh gave us great recommendations and was able to meet our desire level of🌶. We will surely come back again and again to try other items from the menu. If you wanna order from home you’ll find them on all the delivery apps or call them directly.
We enjoyed the Non-Veg Meal combo we ordered for takeout! It included a yummy butter chicken, mixed veggie creamy korma, rice, and naan. We also ordered a mango lassi, garlic naan and rasmali. Everything tasted great! We recommend this place for your Indian food cravings!
Loved it! So many options for a vegetarian and the service was amazing.
If I could give their service 11/10 I would for sure!
We had the Daal Makhni, Chilli breaded Paneer, onion bhaji (fried in chickpea flour) and garlic butter naan 🤤 so dang good but the daal was our favourite. We will be back for sure!

Visited yesterday, tried their mutton karhai. Excellent taste. Loved it. They have fresh meat available. That is plus point. As a buyer one can select meat of his/her own choice and order mutton karahi. Staff is friendly. Above all neat and clean place.

The service was super friendly, the ordering process was simple and the portions were very generous. What we loved most was that when we asked for spicy, we got it. You can specify when ordering whether you’d like it mild, medium or spicy. Hubby loved the Fish Curry, but my fav was the Kadai Paneer and of course we both loved the Tandoori naan. Their garlic butter naan is perfection. PS. Halal options are sometimes available, just ask they are very honest.

Its one stop shop for most of my groceries. Staff is very friendly and helpful. KUDOS to Pak Darbar team and owners.
