I have taken two programs from the Canadian HR Academy and I will be back for more! I've taken he Talent Management and Financial Analysis for HR professionals and both have moved my career and confidence in the right direction.

These courses have helped me make better informed people decisions, support my teams, and share my experience with others. When you finish the course, you can start making more of an impact in your role and build your professional brand.

During the course you actively participate in the conversation, share thoughts and ideas, and apply what your are learning in a series of short assignments or homework.

If you have the opportunity for professional development, you should take a course from the Canadian HR Academy; you won't regret it :)
Transformative Learning Experience with the Financial Analysis for HR Professionals & CTMP Program

Review:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Embarking on the journey with the Financial Analysis for HR Professionals Program and the Certified Talent Management Practitioner (CTMP) Program has been nothing short of transformative. As someone deeply invested in the nuances of Human Resources and seeking to elevate my professional standing, I approached these programs with high expectations—and I am elated to report that they were not just met, but exceedingly surpassed.

The curriculum is meticulously crafted, marrying theoretical underpinnings with practical applications in a manner that is both accessible and challenging. The Financial Analysis for HR Professionals Program provided me with a robust financial acumen, enabling me to make data-driven decisions and effectively communicate the financial implications of human resources strategies. The depth of knowledge gained here is invaluable, empowering HR professionals to become strategic partners in business operations.

The CTMP Program is equally impressive, fostering a profound understanding of talent management that is critical in today’s competitive landscape. The program equips candidates with the skills necessary to identify, develop, and retain top-tier talent—a requisite for any organization striving for excellence. The strategic insights offered into performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement are particularly noteworthy, and have been instrumental in my professional growth.

The luminary of these programs is undoubtedly Dr. Caroline Power. Her expertise and passion for HR are evident in every lecture, case study, and discussion. Dr. Power's ability to distill complex concepts into digestible and actionable knowledge is remarkable, and her commitment to student success is unwavering. Her interactive teaching style not only fosters a rich learning environment but also encourages critical thinking and innovation.

I am thoroughly impressed with the caliber of networking opportunities and the diversity of perspectives shared among my peers. The programs are designed to cultivate a community of forward-thinking HR professionals who are ready to lead and inspire in various organizational contexts.

To those contemplating advancement in the HR field, I cannot recommend these programs enough. They are a beacon for professional development, shedding light on the strategic role HR professionals play in shaping the future of work. Your investment in these programs is an investment in your career, and the return is manifold.

To Dr. Caroline Power and the team behind these exceptional offerings, I extend my sincerest gratitude. You have crafted a learning experience that is not only enlightening but truly inspirational. To aspiring candidates, prepare to be challenged, to grow, and to emerge as leaders in the world of Human Resources. The journey will be rigorous, rewarding, and, without a doubt, a decision that you will look back on with pride and a sense of accomplishment.
I highly recommend Canadian HR Academy for anyone looking to increase their knowledge and confidence in a variety of subjects. Dr. Power is magnetic and easily keeps cohorts engaged throughout the courses.

I started with the Canadian HR Academy as a student for the esteemed CTMP designation. I then moved to a Regional Director for Western Canada under Dr Caroline’s leadership and then subsequently became a panelist on the topic of Diversity and Inclusion with the Academy. Dr Caroline is an inspiring leader and advocate who will encourage challenging growth end development for her students. The Canadian HR Academy has opened the door for so much opportunity and valuable insight to apply to my areas of expertise in HR.
Meeting and working with Dr. Caroline has been an incredibly empowering experience. The standard of services she delivers and expects her team and partners to deliver is unmatched.

I highly recommend her company for your organizational and professional development needs.

The coursers are really helpful and intensive, there are many assignments and projects that helped my to develop my technical skills, after graduating there was an opportunity to join real client projects to address their unique business needs, this is crucial to improve soft skills like communication and problem solving, as well as continuous enhance technical skills, and this part of experiences is so important to put in the resume to get an interview. And the teachers, TAs are also very professional and helpful. TAs are online to help students almost everyday even after dinner. Highly recommended to improve yourself at WCD.

Wonderful course for HR professionals! Dr. Caroline Power shares real life scenarios and shares her experience and expertise in many teaching moments throughout the course.
Have been golfing at Centennial for years. The course is always in great shape and very well maintained. Staff is five star all the way. Special shout out to Steve who always greets us with a huge smile and a jab about my Leafs. Wally the starter is such a great guy! Thank you Centennial I’ll always call you my home course!

WARNING - DO NOT WASTE A PENNY ON THIER DATA ENGINEERING PROGRAM AS IT'S A RECIPE FOR DISASTER!!!

I completed their Applied Business Intelligence program, however their Data Engineering program wasn't good and this review is purely about DE program.
Background: I worked in traditional ETL space for a while, know data modeling, most of the lingo in the data space.

Most of the companies out there will ask interview questions on SQL, Data Structures and Algorithms for any of the Data Engineering roles. You will not learn any of those skills in this course whatsoever.

The biggest problem I encountered is there's way too many tools squeezed into this DE program. You don't get fair amount of depth and wide knowledge on any of those tools because you're rushing onto the next without having your foundations strong.
We started with Docker, didn't quite learn much and teaching style of that particular instructor didn't help whatsoever to pick up any bits and pieces of docker commands to deploy applications. I remember almost everyone in my class struggled to capture the docker concepts. When instructor asked in our class if we're feeling confident about docker then everyone said, no, we're not and confused. Some even said that they will have too google or take a separate docker class or lessons to pickup those skills.

The data modeling module was good since the instructor had pretty good background, took his own time to explain the concepts in depth. Almost everyone is the class felt happy about that topic. In data engineering, data modeling is crucial part of building infrastructure. Hence, the extra time and effort to get through those concepts are very important for anyone. If the data in the fact table is not stored at the right granularity then entire data model can go wrong. I was happy that they assigned an experience instructor to that module. Forgot his name but he works as an Analytics Engineer.

Spark is another important tool to know in order to survive in data engineering space. I personally think, they should have at least assigned 8-10 weeks for this topic since it's not easy to pick up Spark. There's lot to learn about Spark from in-memory, caching, optimizations, performance tuning, optimization, bucketing. Only some topics were covered to good depth while other areas were skimmed.
There was lot of AWS infrastructure work we had to do like setting up network, IP's, firewalls which could also be done using Terraform (Infrastructure as a Code), but we did lot of manual work.

Overall, it didn't stand up to my expectations and had to drop half-way through the program. Couldn't transfer any of the amount I paid for DE program to another program of theirs and had to pay full fee for the Applied Business Intelligence program.

It wasn't worth paying all that heavy $$$$ to sit through a program that doesn't teach you a lot. I personally don't recommend anyone enrolling into their data engineering program.

Dr.Caroline Power is truly an amazing leader. I am currently enrolled in the Talent Management Program. Dr. Power is very patient and truly goes out of her way to explain things in full detail. I really appreciate that. I would recommend anyone who is interested in growing their knowledge and enhancing their career in HR.
Great program!
I took the Financial Analysis for HR Professionals and Dr. Caroline Power delivers a skillful blend of financial information, corporate context and practical skill building in a safe and empowering environment. Lots of learning packed into a concentrated 2 days session.
Thank you very much--this training was very relevant to my work.

I have worked with UAVertical for several years in the Canadian drone industry and they are one of the most knowledgeable and professional Transport Canada training experts. I highly recommend them for not only your ground school and flight reviews, but any field service as well.

Grant is extremely pleasant to deal with and I will continue to utilize and recommend him to everyone in the industry. His communication with clients is fantastic and never fails to deliver on promised deliverables and dates.
I’m so glad another reviewer brought up the B.O issue - some climbers REALLY need to wear adequate deodorant and reapply as necessary! Please. It is common courtesy. This is one of the main reasons why I avoid climbing at busier hours.

Other than that I do enjoy it here (I climb 1-3 hex). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are (usually) clean. I do find the routes at Surrey more fun though.
I took up golfing with a couple of friends in preparation for retirement and we’ve been going regularly to Centennial for more than 7 years now. The staff are all amazing! Whether it’s the greeting we get from Steve (by name) upon arrival to the helpfulness of the starters (Andy, Michael, Rob, Walter) to the friendliness of the grounds staff (esp Steve) and the Marshall (Norm) as we pass them, we are always made to feel welcome!!

We are so grateful to have this facility right in the city. We often invite other people to golf with us and they always enjoy it too.

Grant was very knowledgeable and helpful while completing my in-flight review. The whole process was very smooth and informative, would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get their advanced licence.
Fantastic gym, great staff, great crowd. But holy hell some of y'all (members, not staff) NEED to start wearing deodorant. It's not everyone, obviously, but a few regulars make it distractingly tough to wait for a turn on the wall, and I often find myself moving to other sections I don't even feel like climbing just to get away from it. WEAR DEODORANT PLEASE. I don't care if you're some rugged outdoorsy hippie athlete that likes it "all natural". YOU STINK.
I have hit many buckets at Centennial over the last 30 years, but never actually golfed at Centennial until today! Had a fabulous time. We just played 9 holes. Had a wonderful chat with Carolyn in the Pro Shop. Carolyn is a wonderful ambassador for Centennial -- very friendly and charming.
Visited total of 3 hive gyms in my trip and this location was my favourite.

The style was very flowy and emphasized tension.
Enjoyable climbs!!
The workout area was amazing, wish I could have spent more time on the boards.
I love Centennial Golf course!!! Not only is it close to my home, but the fees are excellent and the personnel are professional, friendly and very helpful!
Whether you’re a beginner golfer, wanting to play 9 holes or an experienced golfer… 3 well maintained courses are available for your playing pleasure! I’ve been playing Centennial for years with a group of lady friends and we are always warmly greeted by Steve and the starters… who are always patient 😊
We are extremely fortunate to have this excellent golf facility with adjacent driving range so close to home.
Go! Enjoy⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️
What a great place to golf. 3 different 9 hole courses in one location and mini golf! Very reasonable rates. There is a great ProShop and restaurant facility as well. Lots of free parking. Staff is amazing. I highly recommend this course whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro.
Recently got to play at Centennial Park Golf Centre for the first time. The course is extremely well maintained, a great mix of holes with varying degrees of challenge. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near hwy 401 & 427 it is very easy to reach this course. You can walk the course but given how busy it is I would recommend a power cart. The green fees are a great value for the quality of the course. The driving range is one of the best I have seen in the city and I will be sure to try it out the next time. I highly recommend adding Centennial Park Golf Centre to your list of must play courses.
Advanced Drone Pilot Course:

I’ve taken a lot of courses in a lot of different fields and I can say with confidence Grant is in the top 1% of knowledgeable, organized, and engaging instructors I’ve encountered. UA Verticals online resources are remarkably user friendly, the practice exams super useful, and the layout well designed.

Highly recommend.
This facility is conveniently located near other sport facilities, so plenty of things to do around. Overall, it’s a decent place but I didn’t have the best experience and would most likely not visit again unless in the area.

The golf course was nice and clean. It is fairly priced and relatively small, so great for a quick round. The grass was well maintained.

The driving range experience was not the best. The mats were really worn out, tees were very high and uneven, and about 60% of the balls my friend and I had were cracked. I truly look forward to the driving range the most, and was disappointed that I was spending more time trying to fix my tee than hitting the ball. I eventually gave up and just played without the tee.

The staff here are very friendly and the service is great. The facility was busy, with lots of people to network and socialize with. The vibe was really friendly overall and quite enjoyable.

This is a nice place to visit if in the area. I highly encourage the facility to renovate some areas of the course and replace the driving range mats and tees. Maintenance is important and many areas of this facility were worn out. Other than this inconvenience, the course is decent.
Great bouldering gym! There are plenty of challenging routes but the atmosphere is very encouraging!
Place was nice, but the Surrey unit is much bigger and with better routes.
I might be spoiled from my usual gym, but climbing here was pretty dull, holds are all dirty (even "new" routes which are not graded), not easy to gage which problems are for my level (their hex system is way too loose), problems lack creativity, holds are repetitive... it just feels like the bouldering area is not maintained by people who love bouldering, there's no investment in it.
If you're a beginner climber, this review is not for you. The gym might be fun for beginners, kids, etc. But for more advanced climbers (v7+) it'll get old pretty quick.

I completed the Fundamentals of Drone Mapping course as well as the Advanced Pilot License Course and both were extremely informative, well done and great value. I highly recommend them. Grant was super helpful and responsive when I reached out to him. He saved me a lot of time and money! I will be flying down from the Yukon just to take the Flight Review/Training with UAVertical because of the positive experience I had. Top notch, thanks so much!

I attended WeCloudData Applied BI program in 2022 Jan and finished in early April. After the course I was assigned a mentor helping with my resume and interviews, from June to until I landed a DA position in September. It was a very comprehensive program, covering different business industries knowledge and required technical skills.

Every instructor, TA and mentor at WeCloudData are all responsible and helpful, they always would love to share their experience. I'm very glad that I made the decision to grow with WeCloudData. I highly recommend this program/institution. At the same time, I must say even with all the assistance how far you can go is depending on your determination and how much efforts you make.
This company is a fraudster. They share same address with Intouch Talent. They are hiding under many confusing names and hiding in plain sight. I had an interview with “National Stuffing” in Calgary and opened an account under Intouch Talent. They told me great things but I came to my mind and decided not to continue with them but it is too late. They already started withdrawing money from my bank account that I provided a void cheque for so that they can deposit my earnings. But they used that information to withdraw money. If you contact them they will tell you that you can cancel your membership only after 3 months with a registered snail mail through post office. I am sure they will find excuses not to unsubscribe you. What a fraud. Life is already hard why do you want to make it even harder. Shame on you people of National Stuffing, Intouch Talent and whatever other fancy names you are hiding under.

Great place to learn new skills, I enrolled for Data Analytics bootcamp by 2021, Post 8 months of completion I have landed role of Senior System Analyst

Some of the pros:
1. Team of lecturers are very knowledgeable and were currently working in Data field
2. They teach what are the required skills (Python, Excel, PowerBI, Big query, Tableau) that is required and how to learn and implement in Data field
3. Part of Bootcamp we were able to work in real time projects which was very useful in adding it as portfolio under Github

Would definitely recommend WeCloudData for any of their Data courses. Its definitely worth the money and time spent
Centennial is a nice flat 27 hole course for a beginner or intermediate player with relatively affordable green fees on a weekday afternoon. The driving range and putting green are close by, so it's easy to get some warmup shots before your round It should take a duo about 3.5-4 hours to finish 18 holes with a pull cart. Having not played for many years, I found the staff to be very helpful and patient in answering my many questions during the day. Definitely recommend this course!
Spacious, big training room, lounge, clean, setting was interesting, very welcoming vibe with friendly staffs. With the quality of the gym, the price was reasonable I think. I saw many family groups with thier kids, I guess it's a kid friendly gym. Overall, it was excellent!

I had a great experience with the Business Intelligence bootcamp. It was beginner friendly and well structured. I learned new skills like SQL, Python, Tableau and Power BI and used those skills to work on projects i could add to my portfolio. The course had useful quizzes and assignments to practice my new skills. The icing on the cake is the career guidance where they have a mentorship program. I highly recommend this bootcamp for people looking to pivot into the world of Data Analytics.

For both the in-class course content and the in-the-field flight review, Grant was a great instructor to have! In terms of course work, it was a ton of information to take in but it was paced well, interactive, and kept interesting - going through this course made it easy to pass the Advanced Pilot Exam. The flight review went well also - Grant's instruction gave me confidence in flying, and a better understanding of how the regulations and restrictions of airspace impact us in the field.

Had taken in-person course and flight training/review with Grant, and it was an amazing experience. Kept me involved and engaged throughout the 2-day in-person course and also during the flight training/review. He is a great mentor, satisfactorily answering all questions and clarifying all doubts be it about the course, exam or about actual flight review.
The course content is aptly combined covering all the details/topics asked on the exam. Highly recommend the exams that they have after going through the course as it prepares and provides a huge confidence for the online test. Took the advanced exam after the in-person class within 2 days and could clear it easily. Overall, the tips and ideas provided by Grant made topics easier to understand and the online tests gave much needed boost for the exam. Anyone without prior knowledge about drones or flights, could as well, get their basic/advanced license confidently with the help of their course.
Would surely recommend checking out with Grant (Calgary Drone Academy) before considering any other schools. Good Luck team!
First time bouldering! It was a fun experience, the staff are well educated and ready to help. It provides you with gym facilities for upper body work, yoga studio, and a little space for retail.

Grant is a fantastic knowledgeable individual. I attended ground school through Calgary drone academy and had no problems passing my written government exam. Grant is a top notch guy, will keep you attentive in the slower parts of the course, engages with you and will take the time to make sure everyone understands. If you are self studying to pass your advanced drone license and finding the sheer quantity of information needed to pass overwhelming don’t even hesitate to take ground school. Likewise if you just want to walk in and take the course you will pass if you put the work in. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of taking a couple courses with Training Toronto - both onsite and virtually and both experiences were great. The small class sizes made it easy for instructors to assess the group and cater the curriculum to specific learning needs. The instructors were also open to understanding the challenges specific to my work and provided guidance and feedback.
Very professional and thorough group and overall great experience - I learned a lot.
I got my data science and big data diploma at WeCloudData this July and absolutely loved the experience here.
The program was fast-paced yet allowed enough time to fully understand the concepts, and practice with different projects. I also enjoyed the projects to be a combination of the skills taught throughout the program. Guest lectures were very helpful for students to improve their learning in a more interactive way. I highly recommend this program and WeCloudData to anyone who wants to launch a data related career with practical, hands-on experience.
I attended the Data Science & Big Data Diploma from WCD. It helped me learn new concepts in Data Science, Big Data and even an introduction to Deep Learning. More importantly, they give you a chance to work with real world projects with interesting clients and present insights. The curriculum is quite comprehensive and well designed. The group assignments, industry guest lectures and discussions were also fun to be a part of.

Even though after few weeks of the course, we had to move the classes online due to the pandemic, they ensured that the learners still have an ongoing engagement and have all the necessary tools and people in place to help with the learning experience. Everyone in their team is extremely helpful, including the lecturers and teaching assistants. They try to guide you as much as possible and give enough personal attention. Only thing that is required of the student is to put in their best effort in the process of learning - be curious (it's a data ''science'' program), follow their instructions, work on your assignments, projects and ask questions.
Great Service! I had a really good experience with Peresist Media Corporation. They are truly professional and responded to all my request in an speedy manner. I really recommend their service to anybody who is thinking about creating a brand new website.
I had a great experience with them on Digital Marketing
This is a very clean and modern, new indoor climbing gym.
There are lots of routes to climb, but they don't change the routes so frequently that you're never able to set up personal climbing "projects" (i.e., problems or routes to which you must to return several times before you can finish).
There's a lounge that's quiet for study or computer work, but it also has board games, a multi-game two-player arcade machine, and a table-top ⚽ game.
They also have fun, energetic music on play (alternating between eighties and modern pop) for all.
There's also a retail store with clothes and stuff up front. I like this place!
I would definitely recommend you to use Mahmood’s experience.
He is an excellent expert in internet marketing, business consultation and can help you to start your business and improve it.

Persist Media Corp. provided me with the best service and design developing my website. They exceeded my expectations, met all my requirements and developed my website in a short period of time. Throughout our 15 years of experience, we have worked with multiple web designers but we were never as content as we are currently, working with persist media corporation. Working with Mahmood was an all around great experience. He is attentive, knowledgeable and punctual. Highly recommend his services!

One class I purchased was rescheduled 3 times - one of those times being because the person who books the classes forgot to book an instructor. Mistakes happen, so I wasn't too upset about it - just annoyed.

What bothered me was once I notified the company about me showing up to find no instructor, I was told I could immediately come back the next week to make up for the no show. Then, I was told I actually could NOT come back the following week and would have to wait another 10 days. I already waited a month after the first reschedule of this class, and was a month behind on my projects because of it. I couldn't accept that; I pressed to be accommodated, and they accommodated me coming back the following week like they originally said they would.

Wanting to confirm everything, I sent an email and left a voicemail for the person scheduling my new class. He called me back to confirm, and as I was saying thank you and wanted to say something else, he hung up on me.

My rating is based on the service I received when booking the classes. I personally wont be purchasing classes from here again, and the organization I work for plans on booking elsewhere as well.
This program is fantastic!

I didn't have a coding background and the way they prepared each module made it easier to understand from basic concepts to Advanced SQL, Python, ML and Data Science that I just finished. It is all very exciting. They really do prepare you and offer great support (includes problem sets, individually and in group and quizzes). Teachers are well connected and help you, no matter the prior experience. When you graduate, you have a portfolio of projects, a very good literature and also hands on practise what is important as they showcase your writing capability.

Here for a night of short story telling. It was fun and we laughed a lot. Beautiful theatre in the back part of the building. A small stage with chairs in the pub-like front entrance room. If the event is popular it can get very crowded. Get there early if you want a seat. Licenced and some food services. Lots of character in the building.
AKA The Staircase Theatre this fabulous local venue allows local entertainers to thrive and gain a platform in front of a diverse audience. The building was constructed in 1911 as a hydroelectric distribution point for the area. It derives its name from the wrought iron spiral staircase that goes all the way from the basement to the third floor. It features a restaurant and bar as well as a movie theater and several performance areas.
An amazing, groovy venue for all sorts of events. It's a sentimental venue for my family. My daughter was married here, her husband had his 30th birthday party here and I just recently hosted their baby shower at the Staircase. Everyone absolutely loved it. It has a great feel to it. The staff are incredibly creative and helpful and go over and beyond the call of duty to help make your event a success!
A fantastic place in Hamilton full of history. What a great place to show the 48th Anniversary of Hilarious house of Frieghtenstein. Love the intimate theatre and the staff was very nice.

The theatre always produces amazing shows. Check it out anytime but especially during fringe.
Top notch venue for all your needs. Whether you are an artist looking for space and a nurturing space to incubate your work, want to run a class, looking for wedding or party space, or a location for a corporate off-site, The Staircase has you covered.

Looking for interesting live performance or improv? The Staircase is the place to be. Amazing people... amazing space!!!
