The falafel plate was okay, the wood fire flavor of the pitas was good. The plate could have more vegetables instead of a pickle.
Restaurant caught my eye while I was driving. Glad i stopped because it is so good. I got the shawarma mix plate with salad. Chicken and beef were flavourful and the garlic sauce is amazing. Owner is very nice. Highly recommend this spot
Food was fantastic. Service was even better. The family that runs this restaurant understands how to treat a customer well. They are obviously very proud of their establishment and it shows. Half way through the meal, the owner came to our table to welcome us and ask if everything was to our liking. That never happens at the big box chain restaurants. Well done!

We happened to be served by the daughter of the chef/owner and her knowledge and expertise of the food and wines was over the top. The wines were wonderful, the food authentic to Portugal and eye opening wonderful and full of flavor. The presentations were perfect and the service was spectacular.

Absolutely the best tuna I've ever had. Anywhere. It was a special, so not always available. If you're able to order it, I recommend rare.
Saw a cockroach climbing the walls while we were waiting for our food. My girlfriend got the calamari platter and it was slimy, tasted off, and her fries were undercooked. My gyro was good although the fries were under seasoned. However we both had stomach aches all night from the food. Staff was very nice, but overall a regrettable and haunting experience.
Customer service was zero, me and my brother entered and it was like we entered a graveyard, i didn’t order anything my brother ordered a salad, it was just lettuce with a little seasoning, it was 15 dollars, my brother wanted to make a small take and said why it is expensive, the lady looked at us like we murdered someone.

I had to share how much we loved Village Grec. Our team was working on a project nearby, and we decided to try this spot. We ended up eating here every single day for a week! The food is amazing—authentic Greek flavors that really taste like they come from a family recipe. Everything we tried was packed with flavour and always hit the spot. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a go. It’s a real gem!
We were on our way to Costco when we found this gem on the road. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was. We were served by many sweet workers and they took their time to explain the different options they have. We then spoke to someone at the cash, I think it was the owner? But anyway he was the kindest person ever. He offered us un bowl of delicious homemade hummus when we told him we wanted to try some. They make everything themselves in there and trust me, it makes all the difference in the taste! The food was absolutely amazing. You get different options for the salads and the portions are generous. The chicken was amazing! Definitely a 10/10 and worth the route. I will comment back for sure.
The falafel is marvellous, delicious, fresh and tasty. Staff is kind but the MUSIC makes you wish to leave: loud, awful, forcing customers either to go away or leave fast. It gives the impression that they do not wish customers to eat in, just take out…

Le Shish Taouk is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an incredible dining experience.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Mediterranean dishes, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the Shish Taouk. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, it’s the best I’ve ever had.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, and the portion sizes were just right. Whether you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just looking for a great meal, Le Shish Taouk is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon

Had a lovely meal here. Tried their short rib ragu, lamb chops, and seafood appetizers. Portions were excellent and food tasted great. If something could be improved it would be the ragu. Could use a little acidity to round out the richness of the sauce. Service was prompt and wonderful. Will be back to try some more of their dishes.
I've been coming here for over 30 years. We were a medium sized group and the service was absolutely awful. I had to get the attention of the waiter numerous times to fill our water. The waiter never came around to check how we were doing. The waiter brought the small birthday cake. He did not give us plates, he did not ask us if we wanted tea, coffee or dessert. We waited at least 15 minutes after eating the birthday cake and we had to wave to him to get his attention to bring the bill. When i mentioned to him how come he never offered us dessert or coffee or tea or fruit, he pointed to the tiny piece of birthday cake and said that's your dessert.We left a very small tip. Extremely disappointed after all these years. Will not be going back.
We were visiting Brossard over the past weekend and found this restaurant through Google Reviews. The reviews are absolutely bang on and would highly recommend! The food quality, friendly service and atmosphere was top notch! My family and I loved it so much we ended up going to this restaurant twice in one weekend! The food was so delicious (hard to come by these days) and had very generously sized portions. If/when we are visiting Brossard in the future, we will definitely dine here again! Until the next time, bon appetite :D
Great shawarma place in town, portion is generous, beef is perfectly cooked and savory, potatoes perfectly paired with garlic sauce. Definitely my go to place for shawarma in montreal!

The is a great place for fast shawarma. It was my first visit. The lady at the counter was very friendly, made excellent recommendations. We got the beef plate and the chicken wrap. Loved the food. Beef and chicken were tender, cooked in spices. Veggies were crisp, sauces were excellent. In all, we spent $25 for 2 dishes and it filled 3 of us. 😋🥙
I ordered a chicken shawarma and unfortunately I got severe food poisoning after eating here. I normally don't write reviews but I feel compelled to warn others of this possibility. Seems like I'm not the only one to get food poisoning from this establishment based on the other negative reviews. Do better.
Lovely little restaurant in Kleinburg. Was so excited to try the Linguine frutti di mare that’s wrapped in pizza dough and I’d say it’s an absolute must have dish if you happen to come here. It’s soupy, aromatic and fresh. The gnocchi alla genovese however was a little too oily for our liking. Sauce to gnocchi ratio just wasn’t right. Service was awesome and atmosphere was comfortable and trendy. Would definitely recommend for a celebration or fancy date night!

I have been recommended to try this place long time ago . We went on a slow day which was good for us. Thr food is typically lebanese , old school. I ordered a lot of appetizer, most of them were great. The fatoush however could be enhanced and was salty, it lacks too many items if I am comparing to thr remaining app. The Main dish had chicken( excellent ) , kafta ( don’t try it ) and meat ( ok, but could be better). I found it too expensive for what I was getting. We ordered app and one main dish with 2 soft drink and a beer. The service was good and friendly. The only downside of this place is it is tooooo old, urgently need à to be revamped, but I guess people likes it that way. I always compare resto with the one from dubai and believe the difference is crazy.
This is an old school and traditional family run restaurant. No glitz no glam, simple and straight forward. We ordered traditional hummus, which was super smooth and tasty. Fattouch and tabouleh which were fresh and well seasoned. We also got the coriander potatoes which were drowning in lemon juice along with shish kebab, kafta, lamb and salmon. The meats and fish were all cooked perfectly. We did find that everything was salty and overall all had a very citrusy taste which isn’t necessarily bad but lacked diversity. The waiters are friendly and quick and we left feeling quite full as the portions are very generous. The other customers were all Lebanese so i think this is definitely a favourite for some.
First time trying this hidden gem and I was highly impressed. I ate the spicy Falafel and I wasn't dissapointed. The portions were generous and the Falafel was freshly made and tasty.

As for my salmon, it was beautifully cooked - flaky and juicy, with a nice sear for some added bite. The accompanying croquettes were sensational, as were the cauliflower purée and the golden raisins. Although the agrodolce was a bit too tart for my liking, everything on the plate worked in such harmony with each other.
Our reservations were easily made on OpenTable. Per my request, we were seated near the window for a gorgeous view of the harbour. Service was fairly efficient overall, and our server kindly wished my dad a “Happy Father’s Day!” at the end.

The food and service were incredible! The falafels in my wrap were crispy and a touch spicy which I really liked. The pita and the sauce were really good too! The staff was really kind. I liked that the food is very affordable especially for the top notch quality you get.

It was my first time at Belsito trattoria and had an incredible experience. The restaurant was beautiful and Martino did an excellent job. He went above and beyond with amazing service plus gave us great recommendations.

I was expecting a good experience based on their rating, and I was not disappointed. The restaurant offers a wide variety of choices, from food to salads and drinks. They use reusable plates and utensils, which is a commendable environmentally friendly practice not commonly seen in fast food restaurants. This alone earns them a big five stars for sustainability.
The place was organized and clean. I couldn't find any issues, not even minor ones. The food was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. Even the washrooms were impeccably clean, reminiscent of a five-star hotel. This establishment should serve as a model for a well-run food business.

Easily the best falafel in town.. which is why there is often a line! Still dreaming about the crunchy yet gooey green falafel balls perfectly balanced with sauces, salads, and fresh pita! Also highly recommend the falafel plate 2.0 with grilled zaatar pita 🤤🤤

We can’t thank Stef and the Via Norte team enough. We decided to have our son’s baptism reception and dinner at via Norte, and we are extremely pleased with how everything went. Firstly, Stef was super easy to work with and accommodating us in our planning. She was readily available through email, text and phone to answer any questions we had and to follow through on other things. The venue itself is elegant and beautiful inside, the table setup amazing. Thirdly, the food there is absolutely delicious. My wife and I are foodies, and on top of that we are Portuguese, we know what good food is. And this place provides not 5 star meals but more than that! If I could give it ten stars I would. None of us left there hungry, we were completely satisfied, and the service was impeccable. We will return 100%.
A spring day, a waterfront hotel, and a restaurant. All quite beautiful. Even if the food offered had been average, Dockside would be worth visiting. Luckily the food was above average. So was the service. The wine list offered a variety of choices, including several fine BC wines. The drinks menu is worth looking at even if you order nothing. It's a creative illustration that other restaurants must envy. The Caesar salad was delightful. Hearts of romaine were dressed perfectly and topped with delicious garlic-anchovy breadcrumbs and Grana Padano cheese. We shared cheese fondue with roast potatoes, bread, and apples. Looking at the dinner menu, we decided that Dockside merits another visit.

I always enjoy my trips to Astoria. The Danforth one is the best. The Maple Astoria restaurant started real good and lots of people but lately not as many. I do hope they can keep there doors open but there is lots of competition.
Prices have increased a fair bit, Food is more expensive, I get that. Suggest maybe offer smaller sizes to lower the cost and improve the calamari. We had to send ours back to the kitchen. It appears that they are not as fresh as I remember them.

I visited Villamadina recently and had an okay experience with the food. The shawarma was decent, but my visit was overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation. During my time there, I witnessed a dispute between the manager and one of the employees. This made the atmosphere quite tense, which affected my overall experience. It would be great to see more supportive interactions among the staff in the future to ensure a welcoming environment for all customers.
The pet-friendly patio seating by the water was my favorite part about this restaurant. Our food could have used more flavor. My wild mushroom pizza was pretty plain and the chicken and waffles were dry. Service was fine but our server didn't come outside very often.

First time visiting Villa Madina and I won’t lie I was very dissatisfied with the meal overall. The staff was friendly but honestly the chicken shawarma plate is very bland, no flavour. I’m from Montreal and when you eat at places like Boustan and forgive me for saying, Amir….there is a lot more flavour. The rice had no flavour, the chicken had no flavour and the coleslaw tasted like a generic St-Hubert coleslaw or Benny and Co.

Went there with a big group on a weekday night. The arugula salad was excellent! I also enjoyed cif e ciaf. The rabbit meat was tender and could be easily broke apart with forks. Taste of the mushrooms was delicious. However, their specialty fish, red snapper, was not as impressive compared to their other two dishes.

This was my first visit to this wonderful restaurant which definitely will not be my last. I had the amazing lamb spedini for appetizer and then the wonderful cod dish with potatoes heirloom carrots asparagus and olives in the most wonderful tomato sauce I've ever had. My compliments to the chef Adriano and to the staff for their wonderful service. This place is a gem and a must try. Well done team. See you next time. My sister loved the pizza and radicchio endive salad!

This is single-handedly the best Shawarma shop I’ve come across in the last 20 years. The food is 200/10 everyone is so kind. The food is cooked with love!!! I live in Pickering and it’s totally worth the drive! You also get you moneys worth!
I went with a friend for Winterlicious and had an amazing time. William, our server, was so kind and gracious explaining the origin of the dishes we had. On top of that, he gave superb recommendations and had a lovely attitude. The grilled octopus dish and sardine appetizers were simply delicious!
Our favorite place to eat in Tanger! The chicken sandwich (shawarma) with spicy garlic is our go-to option here. The spicy garlic flavor is an absolute favorite of ours. We also enjoy the potato fries.
Dockside Restaurant at Granville Island offered a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner experience yesterday. The specially crafted menu was exceptional, with each course showcasing incredible flavours and artistic presentation. The romantic and warm atmosphere, combined with the attentive staff, made it a memorable evening for myself and my husband. I highly recommend for a special date night or any special occasion.

I have had falafel many times before and didn't like it but just ordered this yesterday because it was the only vegetarian option and I was in a rush (I needed easy to hold food).
The sandwich hit just right! The crunchy and juicy veggies/peppers/jalepenos and the super flavorful falafel makes me rethink shawarma.
I will drive out to Tanger just for this sandwich in the future - maybe today.
The service I had was nice and polite. I think I even saw him get my fresh hot falafel instead of the last two that were sitting out.

Nice atmosphere with lots of natural light due to the big windows. Tasty and fresh food. I loved the tiramisu. Friendly and very attentive staff, I lost one earring in the washroom, called to the restaurant to inform and requested if they found it to give me a call back, the attendant did it and next day I went back to pick it up. I plan to go back to try its dinner menu.

Can’t go wrong here! The pita sandwiches are great though I think they could be a little bigger. The garlic potatoes are delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning for another bite! 👍😎
I started going to this place like almost 10 years ago, but to be honest this place is not the same anymore. The food is just horrible, or I can say it's the worst. The rice are not cooked well, the chicken is dry and the potatoes are not cook as it suppose to be and not taste to good at all.
I am very disappointed in the quality of the food. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please save your money and if you really want to waste your money than go ahead and buy the food.

Wow ! the best greek restaurant in Montreal !! the food its amazing ! 10/10 ( The mixed grilled meat plates to share its incredible good, lamb, chicken, sausage, porc sticks) wow wow wow!! also the rice and fries delicious ! Please continue the good work team village Grecque Jean Talon! 😉👍
Relatively small store but very clean. Staff is very friendly, they pay detailed attention to your requests and I must say that I did put them to the test asking several requests, each one of it was handled with care.
Food was well prepared, I purchased 2 plate of beef and chicken, because I saw one of the staff was making a plate for another customer and it looked very good, hence I also asked for the same.
Very satisfying portion couldnt even finish it.

Wow!🤩 The Christmas Dinner Buffet for $149.00 per person was truly grand and totally worth it. Highly recommend this annual feast allowing you to try so many of their menu items at once in buffet format. The lobster tails were perfectly cooked with juicy, sweet, crisp lobster meat and snappiness. The spread and variety of foods offered was absolutely outstanding! The quality of every dish was superb and tasted just as good as when you order items a la carte.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere is super nice! Our server was friendly, but he forgot to bring us few things like steak knife and bread ...etc. For food, the steak was delicious. Perfectly cooked and sauce was great. Pizza was also super tasty, but pasta was super salty for me. I would be back again. Overall a beautiful restaurant with good atmosphere!

I ordered the Greek salad with grilled calamari and a side of tzaziki. The salad was good, although the cheese and olives are far more generous with take out orders. The calamari was tasty but quite overcooked. The tzaziki was absolutely delicious. Wish pita bread was included given the price.

It's one of the good shawarma restaurants in our neighborhood. The portions are decent, and the store is impeccably clean. The staff are polite. Definitely recommend it!

Planned on coming over a year and was worth the wait. Everything so good and so fresh. Fish piece was big with flavor infused inside every bite. Lamb shank was fall off the bone meaty with marrow inside. The risotto was so clean and healthy. The layered passion fruit desert incomparable and even the cappuccino was smooth and had frothy milk that jiggled with every move more then starbucks. Safe to say everything on the menu is their specialty.
I must agree with the negative reviewers here. The servers at this establishment tend to be quite reserved, and it's important for them to understand that the first impression they make on a client is crucial. Instead of starting off with statements like "1,2,3,4,5 numbers will take 15 minutes" while maintaining a serious expression, it would be better if they acknowledged the person standing in front of them and communicated in a more personable manner. The food is always prepared SO FRESH and is extremely TASTY! The portions are extremely generous. My mouth always waters! My family and I always enjoy coming here.
Horrible! I ordered the gyro plate. The lettuce in the salade was like wastes they found in the garbage (witted) even the core of the iceberg lettuce was in it. The fries was cold. The toasted bread had no butter 😩 and cold/hard like a rock. I grew up in park-ex and grew up going to this restaurant. I went back there for the first time in 20 years after moving south and I would NOT recommend anyone to go there. I could complain about flavor and other stuff but I will leave it at this.
We came without a reservation on a Saturday night and we’re seated within 10 minutes. The food came and it was absolutely delicious (we ordered the chicken souvlaki and the salad with calamari) and both meals were so tasty! * I will note that our side potatoes were a little underdone but that’s a quick fix and didn’t taint the meal. I love the generous servings of feta but I felt bad that I couldn’t enjoy it all (great serving size overall!) I really enjoyed seeing the flame dish at some other tables too. We love coming here and will look forward to coming again. It’s safe to say the food here is consistently delicious. Thank you!
Had our baby shower at Via Norte and I don't think I'll be doing an event elsewhere. The ambience was beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food to die for. The pictures posted on their website is exactly what you get on your plate, it's beautifully plated and delicious. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to and had many guests also compliment the food and how great it was. It feels good to trust a restaurant and know that your guests will leave fed and happy. I also loved that the menu was customizable to a certain degree as many other restaurants do not allow that or do not give you many options when it comes to hosting bigger events.
If you want grilled meats then this is the place for you. The food was tasty and generous portions. 1st time we ordered the Filet Mignon and today we ordered the mixed plate. Everything was delicious.
Haven't ordered here In a while. The gyro was dry,and in little tiny bits instead of nice size morsels and some were so hard could not chew. The pita bread was cold and not fresh the tzatziki was nothing to talk about. The fries were luke warm. We literally live 5 mins away. This is my first time leaving a google review but I had to. I ordered a whole chicken from this restaurant a few weeks ago via DoorDash and I could not even take a bite . The chicken tasted expired , it did not taste good at all . It tasted like when meat has been left in the freezer for too long . My mom called the restaurant for me the next day because it was too late to call that same day and spoke with I believe the owner . She told the owner about the chicken and he responded that he did not sell chicken yesterday and that she had the wrong restaurant . My mom and I asked ourselves if he did not have other employees working for him because he might have not prepared the chicken but someone else did . I decided to call him myself later as I was working . When I called him , he did not even want to listen to what I have to say . I told him I bought the chicken via door dash and I know when a chicken taste expired . He said he will call back after a certain time but he did not . I did not call back because it was clear that he did not care and I can see that by reading other reviews . I usually read reviews before going to a restaurant or ordering from a restaurant but most of the time I don’t really take into consideration the bad reviews because I tell myself and also hope that this won’t be my experience . In this case , I should have listened to those reviews . It’s not about the price but the principal . The owner seems to not care about the service at his restaurant and that’s concerning !

Not sure where to start. Had terrible experience from ordering to pick up. Called around 5pm ordered and he confirmed it will be ready at 6.30pm. Went there at 6.30 to find out he didn't even start preparing my order. He was like do you want it or not. If not you can go. He needs 15 mins more. No hygiene maintained at all. Didn't even have gloves and touching everything with bare hands. Mask wasn't worn properly always under his chin. He was using a hair dryer to blow air in to the burning coal. End result, all the meat got covered in ash. Rice and potato were old and literally smelled bad. He made the salad by tossing everything with his bare hands in the box. 1 kilo mix price was $29 but he charged $40.25. Not to mention in between he was using his cell phone, tablet and touching dollar bills and coins with same bare hand. Forget about washing hands. Don't know how it is still open or doing business. Doesn't even deserve a zero star.
ordered 1 kg of chicken as i wanted to use it to make a meal or two later on in the week. as i start preparing the chicken (if frying pan), since it already has the sauce and i was mixing it in the pan, when i rested the spoon i see a maggot!! no joke folks, there was nothing else being cooked or even prepped anywhere near my stove. for the ridiculous price they charge to take away and even eat the ready made meals, you would expect some quality. reaaly really bad when you pay more than top dollar for what you expect to be quality food.

Very delicious place, generous amount of food, grilled meat is amazing
The owner is generous sometimes with the amount of food he gives you and it tastes good! Especially his beef. But funny thing about price here is i think the owner gives a better price if he likes you or depends on his mood lol .. theres times he has charged me more and theres times he charges me less.
Several years ago I gave this restaurant a 3 star review. I went back today to give it another try and food was very good. Ordered the chicken slouvaki and it was very moist and fresh tasting. Even the appetizers were really good (Saganaki and Spanakopita). Service was really good like usual.
Amazing service, delicious food, amazing owner and I never had a problem with delivery or in store. The store is still in development and I never had a problem either sitting down and having an amazing conversation with the owner or to go and show off my amazing food to my coworkers at work I would recommend this food to everyone that loves their tastebuds with this always juicy and fresh meat. I will never stop ordering from there it is delicious.
Family restaurant , you can eat in or call for delivery. Nice people, good service, generous portions. I always eat Shawarma chicken plate. You choose your site salads. You can have rice &potatoes in the same plate. I enjoyed every time ( 1 a month , sometimes 2 ).
A Lebanese restaurant with high quality meat. Taste great, but should have been served with sauce or gravy so they're more moist. We separately bought humus and salad. Pretty expensive I must say, but a nice place for special occasion.
