It was a Sunday lunch. We were a group of 18 person. The guy who made the reservation agreed with the restaurant to charge 60$ per person for the mezzé ( hot and cold) and the entré ( bbq chicken, meet and kafta).
the food was below average except the fattoush, hummus, falafel and cheese rolls. The kafta was over cooked and dry, fillet mignon is not really filet mignon and very dry, also the garlic cream was very garlicky and not smooth.
However when I went to pay my bill I found out that the server ( Abdallah) charged 95$ instead of 60$ plus tax. He also added the 18% tips that turn out to be much more than that. He was rude and loud arguing with me. Also argued with other guests about the small portions of the food.
I am really disappointed about this experience.
I hope the owners know what is going on in this beautiful restaurant.

Loved this place! The food was delicious and affordable, and the staff ❤️❤️❤️ so kind and attentive. Will be back again and again!
Picked up some food and was served by a cashier at takeout who was very polite and gave great service. The fry’s were hot and crispy. Souvlakis were great as usual and ketchup and mayo were all in the bag. Perfect place and perfect meal!!!
We just got back from a lovely evening at Villagio. Our server Jacob was very charming and attentive. Even though there was a large 90th birthday party, we were not forgotten. The calamari were cooked perfectly but were too salty. Jacob kept the waters coming though so it was OK. The pizza was full of flavour and the cheesecake was the best I've ever had! Light and fluffy. We will definitely be back!

This store always reduces the portion to kids size when you order by delivery service. Not sure why they do this when item prices are already marked up and we pay additional fees on top of that. Very unacceptable practice!
I ordered the Portuguese chicken and it was overcooked and dry. I was told that the peri peri sauce was on the side and to my surprise, it was FRANKS RED HOT SAUCE. What a SCAM. The last time that I ordered chicken from there it was RAW. Unfortunately, the food isn’t worth the price and the quality is far from what it used to be. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
I loved the experience in chef kebab the food was absolutely amazing and delicious I went there with my family if 4 and we ordered a combo and it was around 40-50$ but it was worth it and the waiter was really really friendly and nice the service was nice you should really go visit there
Had a small birthday dinner here on Saturday night with my daughter and SIL. It was warm and beautiful inside, food was excellent, and service was very good. Highly recommend for a delightful place for a dinner with a friend or friends. Reservations are needed. Totally charming.

We ordered two chicken plates with pasta salad . The chicken tastes weird ( reheated ) and the pasta salad sauce was not fresh at all , we couldnt eat a bite. We called the store to give them our feedback and concern , the person on the phone was so rude he did not respect our feedback and his answer was ( we serve it like this for everybody) . This is the last time we order anything from this store.
Excellent food, my favourite Greek restaurant in the city. Always great service! I'll order any moussaka based dish they have.

Just wanted to express my love for this place only because of the people working here and also the food . The customer service I get from them is outstanding. Specially Garry , who manages to understand my language fully , and prepares the food fast and delicious. My husband loves this place and he was amazed with the customer service he got from Garry everytime.

A casual vibe, very welcoming. I went with some coworkers for lunch. The portions are very filling and quality food.

I don’t like the new chicken wing menu. Stick to what you were doing better. Changing the chicken wing menu. I love supporting small business but at the same time, I expect good food. Don’t serve people things you wouldn’t eat. Return the old version of how you were making the fried chicken wings.

First time tried out Somali food, and was pleasantly surprised. Quality of food was 5/5. Reason I took out one star was because the quantity was less for the high price of the food. Definitely will go again, and recommend others as well. Also, the place didn't have loud music like other places so we could actually have conversations like humans lol.

I recently held my son's Confirmation celebration at Villaggio and the whole experience was exceptional. From the onset, Pina, Villaggio's event coordinator, ensured that no detail was missed. We met with Chef Tony who was awesome to work with and helped us select a fabulous menu. On the event day, our servers, Nick, Robert, and bartender, Bianca, were amazing. The service was excellent; they were so friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was also top-notch! Kudos to everyone in the kitchen that day! Thanks to everyone at Villaggio for making our party so memorable. We will be back again for another party!

Food is good and they are busy during brunch on Saturday. Got the smokey brisket omelette and a Cobb salad. I liked the omelette more.
One thing that I should mention is the parking. There is an underground parking and it's $6 flat for the weekend. But what needs to be mentioned is that you can get it for free if you dine here. However, you only know that once you are inside the restaurant. There is a parking ticket machine in the restaurant with instructions on how you pay for parking for free. The problem is, people normally park their car and then pay for parking before leaving; not at the store. And there is no notice that mentioned you can get it free if you are visiting the store(s). So a lot of people probably ended up paying without needing to. They need to find a way to improve on how to let their customers know about parking.

The decor is very fun and cute. The light situation, though, is frustrating. When the fans are on, the lights flicker, making it very distracting and difficult to read the menu.
The London fog looked so good and aesthetic! It tasted good too.
The berries from the French toast were very strong, almost an overwhelming taste. Regardless, I really like the fluffiness of the bread itself. It wasn’t a big standout. I wish there was more fresh fruit.

Their Calamari was really good(highly recommend) however their Gyro dinner arrived pretty warm and was not that tasty.

I have been a customer here for a decade. The Chicken shawarma on the rocks/rice, is horrible. It used to be my favorite dish. However, its disgusting now. They get the chicken from a metal bin, which is SUPER oily, and has a ton of fat and skin, so most bites have a rubber feel. I cant trust what they put in these bins so i avoid foods that come from these bins.
If youre the owner, stop putting skin and fat in these. it makes you look bad and cheap. go back to the less oily meat with less fat and NO SKIN. I feel cheated

The pita was fresh & soft, held up well, generous amount of tzatziki, pork was flavorful & tender and paired very well with the onions & tomatoes.

The guys at the counter are awesome, great service, grilled food to perfection. had the Torino Plate with grilled sausages, grilled chicken and mouth watering grilled beef. Salads are super fresh even at 8:36 pm when they close at 9. I rase my hat to you guys! You are top notch quality and delicious awesomeness! Thanks

Food is always awesome here. Ordered a bunch of apps, which I almost filled up on. The pita with the dips are just so soft. And the tahini was creamy and smooth
I had the merguez shakshuka and very yum. I love their shakshuka as I think landwer was the spot for my very first one ever, so I have a soft spot on their shakshukas, which I think are just amazing
Had a kunafeh to end the meal and not too sweet, but hit all the right spots for a dessert

I had some extra treats like cookies and babkas that i ordered on the spot that they tried to accommodate for me, which is also greatly appreciated. OMG Great Place! I Got The Chance To Sit With Owner… She’s A Beautiful Soul. She Shouldn’t Change A Thing About Herself. Extremely Clean Place. Awesome Food! Although I Didn’t So Much Enjoy The Rice, I Was Glad I Got To Enjoy Something I Know Was Authentic. Anyhow, The Rest Of The Food Was Overly Perfect & Delicious. Fresh, Crisp & I Would Eat Here Everyday If I Could.

We also got the gyro platter and the souvlaki combo. Gyro is fantastic, chicken/pork souvlaki is very solid, and vegetables (carrot/parsnip/broccoli) are seasoned beautifully and cooked al dente.
Tzaziki that comes with all the dishes is amazing.
Only minor miss was that I found the roasted potato a little dry/had a bit of leathery crust.
Prices are a bit high, but despite that, would still highly recommend this restaurant - it's no wonder it's so popular.

Had the absolute best lamb mandi in Canada. Both mutton and rice was flavourful.

One of my places to eat at the food court of carrefour Laval. I usually get the chicken and merguez plater. I find the portion of protein is small for the price. The red rice is better than the regular one. The white rice is too wet, in my opinion. There is a lot of choice for the sides. Service wise can be improved. They are in such a rush that asking for extra even tho you pay for it, it seems annoying to them ... price is nowhere cheaper than eating at the restaurant, but when you need a quick bite, it can do.

Amazing appetizers and great overall meal. We had the appetizer platter with 2 dips, olives and feta and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
The new decor is so pretty, I'm in love!. What makes this place special is that their food is always great every time I visit I'm never disappointed. The staff are always helpful and the place is spotless. Keep it up, guys.
The atmosphere made it a beautiful evening. My husband made a great effort for our first time here together. Disappointed that for the price we paid the only thing we can taste was Salt!! The Greek salad was superb. Would go back for the salad and the ambience.

Eager for a filling dinner this evening, I bused over to Mykonos. It’s one of London’s popular Greek restaurants.
I enjoyed some fresh bread and butter to start. Then, my server brought me Saganaki (a fried cheese appetizer) and lit it on fire! They have a tradition where they get you to shout “Opa” three times while watching the flame. The fried cheese was sour and tangy in a good way. It reminds me of Gouda.
For my main, I chose the classic Chicken Breast Souvlaki in a pita. The pita was everything I hoped for. Rice and a salad came on the side.
My dinner ended with an intriguing dessert: a custard cake with honey. I loved this. The cake had crystallized sugar on top. They also usually serve this with cinnamon.
I felt right at home with their atmosphere. The two thematic colours are white and light blue. They had a Greek radio station playing on their stereos, and I jammed to upbeat music.
My bill came to $56.

Mykonos is a terrific option for traditional Greek cuisine and even seafood. It passed all the tests.
I enjoyed some fresh bread and butter to start. Then, my server brought me Saganaki (a fried cheese appetizer) and lit it on fire! They have a tradition where they get you to shout “Opa” three times while watching the flame. The fried cheese was sour and tangy in a good way. It reminds me of Gouda.
For my main, I chose the classic Chicken Breast Souvlaki in a pita. The pita was everything I hoped for. Rice and a salad came on the side.
My dinner ended with an intriguing dessert: a custard cake with honey. I loved this. The cake had crystallized sugar on top. They also usually serve this with cinnamon.
I felt right at home with their atmosphere. The two thematic colours are white and light blue. They had a Greek radio station playing on their stereos, and I jammed to upbeat music.
My bill came to $56.

We visited Cafe Landwer for brunch and it’s the spot for those looking for a Mediterranean and Italian fusion taste. The atmosphere brought us back in time with its classic diner vibes - it’s like a nostalgic journey. Our server was super friendly and attentive, which was great. But, there were a few mishaps in the service. Our food took longer than expected, even though we ordered before others. Not enough good things to say! We were in London for my son’s hockey and wanted to try Mythic Grill based on the reviews! Service exceeded expectations from helping us find the place to getting us seated quickly and comfortably since we didn’t have a reservation. The food and portions did not disappoint and we were definitely starving! The dishes were authentic and all were well prepared and presented. If I’m back in London, won’t hesitate to call ahead and make a reservation (-:

I really enjoyed their Mezza Platter, the Mediterranean Shakshuka. The platter quantity is sufficient for 2 people. The flavors of the 5 dips will pull your taste buds in different directions and they're best enjoyed with the pita breads. I'd suggest going at lunchtime to not feel stuffed. Great place to eat, nice vibe, and courteous staff.

My fiancé and I had our rehearsal dinner at Villaggio and we had a wonderful experience! We coordinated our event and menu with Pina who was friendly, efficient and quick to respond. She set up a beautiful event for our party of 22 people. We were seated in the front room surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of windows and wine bottles. Our server Justin was so kind, quick and helpful. All the staff at Villaggio made us feel so welcomed and taken care of! We will definitely be visiting Villaggio again :)

Nice clean restaurant which resembles more of a fast food place now. Food is fresh and good. Portions are decent. Prices are more expensive but is still reasonable. Ample parking available in the back. Service was quick and polite
Our friends recommended this spot and it is a hidden gem. The menu is varied with lots of options, but even staples and Canadian spin-off dishes were all tasty and great value. I don't have somali food often and it is reminiscent of middle eastern flavours. I had the kebab plate and shared samosas with my wife. We enjoyed the meal, I do miss garlic sauce which is not synonymous to Somali dishes but the side sauce that came with it was a great addition to the dishes we had. Will come back for more if I am ever in the area again. It is probably a hidden gem as the rexdale area has very little options.

I ordered the falafel and hummus platter. Flavours were excellent. Portion size was great. Good value for what you pay. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu. This place crosses out all of the things you want in a resto, good food, ambiance,and service! i organized a work dinner here so we had to get the group menu. it was perfect. we were able to taste different kinds of dishes. The fresh warm pita they served up with the first course was divine! We were so full by the end of dinner but we still had leftovers to take home. The grilled meats were very tasty. The kaftas maybe lacked a bit of salt for my taste but i dipped it in my zaatar dip and it was great. The decor was nice and instagrammable. Last but not least, the servers and waitresses were so nice and attentive and quick to act. Would definitely go back again!

Super tasty Greek food. Decor and service were both nice, with some theatrical flair for the fried cheese. Pita bread was excellent, as was the calamari. I was slightly disappointed by the souvlaki - mostly by the quantity. You definitely have to order an extra dish to fill up, resulting in a lower bang for your buck than comparable restaurants. Still great and worth a visit!

Most amazing dinner date I have ever had with my son hands down. The staff was so inviting and pleasant and made my son feel so included. We laughed and smiled all through dinner. The food was fresh and the portions were so amazing. Highly recommend. We are going to become regulars :)

Had a great evening here to celebrate a project completion. Staff were friendly and provided us the attention despite the larger group. After a bit of a wait, the food came. The squid, calamari and lobster were a hit! I also enjoyed the appetizers with the delicious dips. I thought the fish, believe it was sea bass, was ok and a bit on the overcooked side. But overall good experience.
I haven't had such an amazing dinning experience in a long time. We were 4 people and ordered the 96$ sharing plate for two of us & the MTL à table menu for the other two. EVERYTHING was delicious, well seasoned & perfectly portions. I cannot stress enough on how good the food was. Everything from the hummus, the bread, to the fish, pasta and seafood was perfect.

Yes. It was a really good experience eating here. The shawarma sandwich was excellent. The staff are efficient too. I was able to see them diffuse a situation with an unpleasant customer and make them feel satisfied. Good value (especially their daily specials), however it would be nice if there was a bigger size Laffa option. They have small patio seating as well. Definitely be back.

What a fun family owned and operated restaurant in London Ontario. The dining areas are uniquely bright and vibrant, the fun is delicious, and the service is extremely inviting. I guess some may feel it is a little pricey, but the overall package if what we got for our money, we were pleased. The fried calamari and saganaki, in particular, were absolutely perfectly done. Will come back next time we are in London.
Fast service, friendly staff and fresh ingredients. The restaurant closed early on Monday and Tuesday at 6pm. Wish they put more sauce on the meat.

The risotto was undercooked so the rice was much firmer. The seafood that it was accompanied by was delicious. Lastly, the bread was not anything special so I hope you offer it for free or much cheaper price in the future. The olive paste was delicious.

Montrealers love middle eastern food and I’m no exception. I’ve had my share of the delicious food from the usual quick spots like Boustan, Amir, Basha, Kebeh Kebab, and my favorite, Abu Elias. This spot supposedly stands a notch higher because they use higher quality ingredients. Grillades Torino(Laval), takes mall food to another level by grilling the meats right in front of you. I ordered the chicken and beef plate which comes with 3 choices, I picked white rice, brocoli and vegetables, and the fattoush salad as sides. The beef was unexpectedly tender and medium cooked to my request, was it a filet mignon cut? Sure taste like it. The chicken was also a hit, juicy and tasty. However, 2 sides orders were misses. Not sure if the cook had an off day but both, the brocoli & vegetables side and the fattoush salad, were very salty and inedible. Very fixable, just go easy with the salt. I will come back for the grilled meats.

We took the Montreal a la table course, the quantity is definitely not enough for two adult. Four courses with no breads or rice. Sea urchin doesn't taste fresh. Two scallops and one sea bass only. Dessert was actually the best of the night. Not worth for 75$/person. Service was slow at the beginning, took long to place the order. But it was ok after. Expected more at this price.

Beautiful decor, great service. Presentation of each plate was appetizing. The waiter took the time to explain each course. Slightly pricey however worth the experience. Hands down the best service I've ever received in Montreal. Warm moist towelettes given between each service, every dish meticulously explain, I can't even begin to describe the taste, you'll have to try it for yourselves, every bite brought me to a different place, an absolute sensory overload. They have an inexpensive lunch menu and a mesmerizing tasting menu. If I died and went to heaven, this is what the dining experience would feel like it. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. This is where I send friends and family when the ask for a dining recommendation.
