One of the best dining experiences in Montreal. Flavourful dishes and tenderly cooked lamb. The sauce of the couscous is sooo delicious, I wish I knew their recipe. The couscous paella is unique and tasty. In my opinion, it is better than the traditional rice paella. Service was friendly and as if they are hosting you at their home. Everything there is authentic and made to perfection. Music background selection is amazing.
The restaurant was cute. The food was not the best, I was a little disappointed. I’ve tried a few Syrian restaurants now and this falls at the bottom of the list honestly. The tartar was flavourless, the hummus was good but the meat on top was dry. The drinks were too strong (some people might like that). The service was pretty bad. Our waitress looked a little annoyed to be working, she took forever to take our order since I could see her scrolling on her phone behind the booth. I watched our drinks sit at the bar for 10 mins before they were served to us. They brought all our food except bread for all our dips and didn’t remember to bring it until we asked, so our meat on the hummus got cold before we got to try it. The waitress completely disappeared when it came time to pay so we had to ask the other waiter for the bill after 20 mins of sitting there.
Went there upon recommendation of a friend and it was really worth it. They use high quality ingredients and vegetables, they put effort in preparing real food homemade style. The green mint tea at the end with their desserts sampler plate was amazing. Will be back for sure and recommend them

Unfortunately, I got incredibly ill from the food here. I had the shawarma on hummus, and I ended up with terrible food poisoning. It was absolutely awful.

Love their food, always fresh and tasty. We get the combo mixed platter most of the time and it's always delicious. If you are craving lebanese grilled meats, hummus, fattouch, rice, shawarma....that's definitely the right place to go. Staff are friendly too. Their chef is really good at what he does. Highly recommend. That's the best branch in York region.
I did a large catering order for my Birthday party and all the guests loved the food. Everyone kept asking me where the food was from, everything was great.

Random Uber eats choice . Far exceeded my expectations. Theirs a lot of these types of restaurants to choose from and I've had 90 percent of them. This is the highest in quality.
My initial attempt at trying out this restaurant through a takeout order turned out to be a complete disappointment. The customer service was shockingly terrible, and the employees managed to be both unhelpful and incredibly rude. It's disheartening when you're excited to enjoy a meal from a new place, only to be met with such an unpleasant experience. Big fan of Persian food but had never tried Turkish food before, so decided to give this a try based on a friend's recommendation.
The food here is delicious. This was my first time having feta cheese with fresh made bread like this and it was amazing. The dishes, while on the higher end of price, were very tasty and filling.
Couple of things I didn't like - I find it kind of crazy that a restaurant does not allow you to order tap water and forces you to get bottled water. I know this happens in the EU but that's not right here. Also can confirm that the restaurant is offering free baklava for 5 star reviews. The restaurant also had a lot of flies. I would probably get takeout instead of dining in next time.

We hosted our baby shower for 48 guests on August 12th at Mama Fatma for lunch. The entire event went off seamlessly with excellent service and fresh & top quality food. Even though the restaurant was busy, all the food items came out on time (and hot!!), and the level of service plus attention to our guests was really appreciated.
We worked with Hamza & Emin to plan the details of the baby shower and just want to add that they went above and beyond in guiding us on the menu (recommended dishes for vegetarians, perfect qty for items ordered, timing, layout, etc). They were very patient in answering all of our questions and changes especially in dealing with a large group.

Very friendly place, good food.
It has been already a few times that I order plate for takeout and there is almost no meat at all (chicken or beef)! The meat barely covers 1/4 of the top of the plate. I strongly believe this is NOT a common practice because the same plate at the salaberry store has a decent protein portion.. I've been favoring that store for this reason, even though it is a bit further away.

I would give this place 5 stars. One of the newest locations of Restaurant Boustan. Nice clean environment with enough sitting area. I like the interior decor. Good quality was awesome as usual. Prices are slightly on the higher side. Parking should not be any issue. Would definitely recommend this place.
We bought beef/chicken mix shawarma, it was yummy, delicious and healthy. The store was clean, very welcome staff, friendly. Enough parking space outside. I definitely recommend this place for dine in and take out.
This is my second time here. Food tasted just as good as the last time. The meat was so tender it easily melted in my mouth. I’d recommend anything on their menu. Free water is something they should provide. I’ll remember to take my own next time.
This would be a 5 star review had I not seen the bathrooms. There were a bunch of flies fluttering about. Regardless, it was a good meal at a nice table with good service.
Went there for dinner a few weeks ago and it was a miss for us unfortunately. We did like the terrace, but this restaurant is extremely overpriced for what it is. I paid 25$ for a garden + chicken salad which was barely an appetizer. The food tasted good, but for the price we paid for it, it was nothing extraordinary. The service is very slow and not very welcoming - our waitress (who I think may be the owner) wore earphones the whole time which is super unprofessional. Cherry on top, there was a hair in my salad so they had to redo it. But because it's so slow, by the time they brought a new salad, everyone else had finished their food. Also, there was a lot of opened sugar packets and the teaspoon was dirty for tea.
The food is very normal compared to the best Basha restaurant. Worse, on client arrived talking on phone, which is not that polite, the young was trying to help him but a guy who might be a manager made a rude comment to the client that he should not be talking in phone while making a command and asked him to leave. The client left and the guy kept talking in a non respectful manner about the customer. Not good experience.

When they claim they have the best kebab you’ll ever taste, they’re not lying. The Adana kebab was hands down the best kebab I’ve ever eaten in my life. Juicy and melt-in-your- mouth; the accompanying rice was also delicious. Their other dishes are also extremely tasty and worth a try if kebab isn’t your thing (but I think the Adana kebab will change your mind even if you aren’t a kebab person). They also serve complimentary tea at the end of the meal, which is a lovely final flourish. The restaurant is visually appealing as well; the coffee ware was stunning!
We had a great experience at menthe & couscous. We reserved for a belly dance show included with the pre fixe menu. The show was entertaining and the dancer had a lot of energy and it probably lasted for 4 or 5 songs. Food was really good and I really enjoyed the tea, salad and tajine. The place was smaller and less crowded than we expected and the clientele tends to be more on the matured side.
I would not recommend it if you don't speak the same language as the waiters. The waiter doesn't speak English or French, really. We felt like there was a very big missed communication in ordering and paying for the meal. The food is good, but the potion felt small. We would have a better experience if we had a different waiter to serve us maybe.

I ordered a shawarma plate and salad from here and really loved it! Its so fresh, the flavours are just top notch, and what i REALLY LOVED is how clean this place is, the packaging of the food is done right so the food stays hot and the fries DONT get soggy! I give this 5 stars and the best shawarma in canada thank u for having such good food that reminded me of back home!
My family and I went to Beroya a handful of times and it was always excellent. The food was always outstanding. The quality is unparalleled to any other Syrian restaurant in Montreal, plus, the prices are extremely reasonable. There are many options of authentic Syrian meals to choose from, including meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Kevin, our waiter, was incredibly kind and made us feel very welcomed.
Authentic Lebanese boucher shop. The staff is very polite serving you with pleasure a very fresh, good quality meet, as well as cooked shish taouk and shish kebab sandwiches with garlic potatoes and pickled veggies. Call them to place an order, otherwise there is a big chance you will have to wait.

Nice Tajine dishes. We had the lamb Tajine. It came as stewed lamb in a sauce served over rice. It was tasty but I would have appreciated a load of chunky vegetables stewed in the tajine served with the meat.
The restaurant is tiny inside and a bit claustrophobic to me. ( Everyone will have a different take on it. ). It’s cosy, I’ll leave it at that. We sat on the outside patio and it was very pleasant. We had two lamb tajine and a moussaka appetizer. The moussaka was actually a dip with some lovely pita bread but I wish they would have said it was a dip. Even the server could not describe it properly other than saying it a small appy.
One of the best parts of the experience though is that guests are encouraged to BYOB. So bring your own wine and beer and there is no corkage fee. It was very nice to be able to save money on our beer and wine tab. In fact the sign in front of the restaurant advertises BYOB even before the name of the restaurant.

Mama Fatma located In Vaughan is definitely a must try. It is one of the best and delicious turkish restaurant. They have wide variety of options in their menu. The BBQ platter is worth trying as the quantity and quality is on point. The interior of the restaurant is pretty average but all thumbs up for the food and taste.
I loved the food, the flavors, the ambiance and the incredible staff. I will be going frequently now and trying all their Syrian dishes. Delicious explosion of spices.
Busy , quick and alive , the person who seated us and kept passing by our table to check on us was very respectful , big smile and impressive hospitality skills , clearly wasn’t surrounded with talents like home however everyone did their role yes not professionally but in a timely manner in a way where it was accommodating the need , food was good some plates weren’t top however the rest were great considering the staff issue and the busy time we were there , I would definitely go again , I loved the vibe the people and definitely I would send people to the at there .

My experience yesterday around 9h30-10pm was terrible.
Went in to order a shish taouk sandwich , turns out the guy was preparing the order with bare hands no gloves. Also the way he took the sandwich with his bare hands to put some chiken meat was terrible. Unprofessional and last time i put my feet there.

One of the authentic moroccan restaurants. We really enjoyed the food so much. I ordered the Morrocan Tajine of lamb with vegetables and dried apricot and prunes. Its taste was mouthwatering. It reminded me with my stay in Morroco. The only thing that I missed, and it could add a lot, is to make the authentic Morrocan bread "Khobz" which will add a lot to the authenticity and the taste.
Besides that my wife tried the "Couscous Baheya" with chicken. She enjoyed it. For the desserts, we tried the "Omali", but it took so much time to be prepared and it look burnt ( as if it was kept in the oven more than needed ). Its tatse was not that good.
The place is nice and cozy. It is little bit small. But there is a nice patio outside where you can sit in when the weather is nice.

Where do I start? This restaurant is a blessing! I’ve been here a few times. As a Trinidadian, we cook with a lot of flavour and I must say that Mama Fatma doesn’t disappoint. The food here is amazing and everything just taste so good it keeps me coming back for more. I love the staff! So friendly and helpful with new dishes I want to try. The atmosphere is beautiful and I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit.

First of all,I asked for garlic sauce and they said that it was include in the sandwich. It wasn't. The sauce was a mess I got my shirt all dirty because of it. They took like 10 min for 1 sandwich. This is really disappointing dont fo here, go to Amir instead
I ordered the shawarma from Basha Restaurant yesterday and unfortunately had a terrible experience. As soon as I finished eating it, my stomach started growling loudly, which was quite uncomfortable. Later that night, I suffered from severe diarrhea, which made me suspect that the dish might have been contaminated or not properly cooked. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering this dish and to inquire about the cooking methods and hygiene practices used by the restaurant. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Basha Restaurant.
Thus is the mix plate at Karoun 100% blown away the meat is so tender I will return I recommend this place to armenian and Mediterranean food 👌
Beroya is indeed pricey but the food does not fall short in any way. Every dish is made with attention and you can really taste the difference in each bite. The fattouche salad, the mohammara spread, the kebbeh, cheese rolls and the mixed grill platter were all so flavourful. The restaurant is also spacious and has a really nice vibe to it. Syrian cuisine is soooo good, try it and see for yourself. Plenty of parking available.

So we had to order at the counter and pay for it and tell them if we are eating in or taking out. We paid and told the girl we are eating in. No issues so far. The girl was patient and explained the menu and the combos and tone was friendly and pleasant.

Long line, slow service. Took me over 32 min to get my order and another 10 min to pay. I order the chicken plate and it was around 17 buck. Good parking, the restaurant opens late. Some of the sofa chairs are broken or torn.
Best grill in laval! We love everything at vieux massis, their tabouleh and fattoush are so good. The meat is always perfectly cooked!

Food was very very basic and service was a total mess, having paid 65$. On top of this portions were on the cheap side. The waiters seemed overwhelmed although there were 15 tables. We almost had to beg to get proper service. I am Lebanese and never will I go to a Lebanese restaurant again. They dont respect their customers.
Nice clean place, welcoming atmosphere and most importantly DELICIOUS food & desserts. Plenty of variety on the menu + freshly backed pita bread. Generous portions. Our order came in a timely manner and we enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommended.

Over-priced food that just looks good. You're paying for the ambience. The wrap barely had any filling. The manakesh was dry. The falafels were good but does not justify its $12 price tag. First time trying Paramount and won't go back. I'd rather go to authentic Middle Eastern restaurants in Scarborough. Their service and ambiance may be poor but their food is spot on.

Amazing food, excellent service by the lady and the guy who welcomed us, cant say any complaint on the food and the service and the restaurant in general. I wanted to rate 5 stars, but i felt duped when I went to pay and out of a sudden what was 38$ on the menu became 55$ saying that maybe the menu I received was not scratched by mistake; credibility is a major thing for me. On top of that you cannot pay by card, as a tourist i depend on my credit card when I travel and I hold minimal amount of cash just for emergencies.
Food is just alright. The prices are quite high. 25$ for a chicken schnitzel with 1 side and house salad. The side was pretty bad in my opinion. 1 kafta kebab for 20$ with extremely plain rice and house salad. The kafta tasted exactly like the burger meat from Harvey’s weirdly enough. The salad dressing was the best part of the meal by far. We got 1 piece of pita bread we had to share among 2 people. 1 pita per meal seems fair, no? It’s just very underwhelming for the price. A very average meal that was kind of bland. 1.99$ extra for Israeli salad instead of house seems like a money grab. 3$ for a can of coke is also a lot. Just a meal you eat and go, well it was food. I wouldn’t recommend here for the price or quality.

Service was fast. The Foul and the musabaha were amaziiinnnnng. The fateh was average. Not to mention you get the vegetable and tea free of charge.

We shared a vegetarian plate and a mixed meat plate. A beautiful meal filled with amazing flavours. The staff was kind and familiar in a way you don’t see at any chain restaurant. It’s like traveling without the air fare!
There were a few larger families eating together as well as a few couples.
They have a large outdoor terrace that we look forward to visiting in the summer. We chatted with the young man that is the owner and he takes great pride in serving only FRESH food. A little jewel in Laval. #supportlocal

The food was cooked well and seasoned well but something about it was off. I will say I would consider coming again if someone around me wanted to go. 7/10.

I'll start by saying that the food here was amazing and delicious and if I were to solely rate the food it would be 5 stars. The service however really needs some improvement. After being seated and having our orders taken, we received the wrong appetizers by the same server who took our order. Then instead of receiving our correct appetizers we got our Main Course. I corrected that with the server and they took our food back and brought out the appetizers we ordered except they were clearly made in a rush as one of them was missing the lamb that was supposed to come with it. Finally after all that we thought we would have some dessert and asked for a dessert menu only for them to have completely forgotten about it and after waiting 15 min we just asked for the bill and left. Not once did anyone come to check if the food was good or if we need anything.
Let me reiterate this though. The food was excellent and if you want to try Moroccan food, I highly recommend it. But be prepared for the possibility that the service may not be up to par.

We loved this place. It starts off with the service when you walk in the restaurant, its family owned and they're very welcoming. The tea is complimentary and will keep getting refilled. We then ordered an "Omar platter" which had hummus, fouul, veggies, two eggs, and phenomenal fatteh, and a zaatar-cheese pie. We were SO full. I do have to say though that the fatteh was amazing. I will definitely be back and will definitely be ordering their fatteh next time as we really loved it.
I've been many times at this restaurant and each time my experience is amazing. Their breakfast is delicious and service is excellent. Feel like you're eating at home. Will keep going there whenever I have a chance to passby Laval
So just the raw meat (decent portion) and a small salad, it cost about $27 , food quality was great, the host was super friendly and easy going, and surprisingly it took about 5 min to get the food on the table.
Outstanding food and service! The manager Jad and his entire staff were so attentive and the food was excellent. Been to a few other Paramount locations, but none of those other places had the food as fresh and flavourful as this location. We ordered two platters - the full chicken and the half Shawarma platter. The chicken was well seasoned and the pitas were super fresh. The baklava was excellent as well. Definitely recommend this place!! Don’t forget to follow me!
We ordered 'Trio Mix' wraps, they were exactly what you'd expect: delicious! It's a relatively clean and Air conditioned place with lots of seating. I would recommend this for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner 👍
Loved my experience at Monot! They have a very nice Saturday entertainment program! As far as the food is concerned I couldn’t say enough to make it justice! So authentic and flavourful with generous portions! I am definitely coming back!
Visiting is a must just to try the myriad of Lebanese dishes! I went on the weekend and on top of the great food, the atmosphere is lively: music, belly dancer and our group was well taken care of by the staff! My favorite are the cheese cigars and the juicy & tender shish taouk 👍😋

Wow, the cleanest ever ! This place is A1, one stop shop. Best price for BBQ and meat, lowest in the market and best quality of food. Owners are very welcoming and work with their hands. Makes sure all clients are satisfied. I highly recommend you do all your purchases, meat, sweets, fish from here. Ohhhh and try to Nutella crepe.
