Very professional owner with delicious food. On top of what we ordered, we received 2 items free of charge, on the house. Best Indian restaurant in Bern!! Free blue zone car parking is also accessible by short walk.

I recently tried the biryani, mango lassi, and naan at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the location, conveniently close to the city center, made it a great choice.
The fact that they offer halal food is a definite plus.

Namaste India has a large menu with many options. The food came out quickly and the chicken tikka masala had a nice flavor. Their online menu tells you what is gluten free but it seems like not all of the dishes are marked yet. The waiter was able to help as well. A good gluten free Indian option in Bern.
The presentation of the food and the atmosphere are very nice. The food is tasty and spicyness is adjusted to individual wishes. However, the curries are very oily. A bit less oil and it would be amazing!

Ordered a meal for takeaway, and the process was easy and the staff helpful. The food however was really poor. The curries lacked flavour and contained very little meat. The mixed grill was OK, but the quality of some of the chicken was pretty poor. Portion sizes are also below average. And finally, prices are around 10-20% higher than I would expect in Switzerland, which seems unjustified given both the quality and quantity. Definitely better options in Engelberg.

I came to dinner one of these evenings with my boyfriend and food was delicious, nice and big portions. Price is correct! Place is beautiful, harmony and Indian culture from food to decoration of the place. Majid, the guy serving us is so attentive, kind and simpátic. I want to come back soon as possible and I recommend it for sure ! One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been so far.
Went for dinner, 2 adults and 2 kids.Food was great! Not very cheap, but worth it if you're willing to pay ~35-40 CHF for a main dish. Also, they had a separate kids menu (with mregularm kids dishes) which doubles as a coloring page to occupy the kids. Staff was a bit apathic, but the service was overall ok.Very recommended for indian food lovers.

Very delicious food. We went on a Saturday night and got lucky with a last minute reservation, I highly recommend making one because they were packed. I got a paneer dish that was labeled as mittelscharf and my husband got a lamb dish that was marked as very scharf, while both were incredibly delicious we did wish they were spicier. The gemüse pakora and rose lasse were also great.

The food was good, but the service was super slow. There was only one person handling the entire restaurant alone on a weekend. Also, they did not accept cards, so hustling to the ATM was a task at late night in cold they could have informed us in prior to ordering.

I attended a team dinner at this cozy Indian restaurant, surprisingly accommodating around 40 guests within its compact space. While the interior carried an Indian ambiance, it felt a bit too loud and overly colorful. They set up a buffet dinner for us, offering a variety of dishes. Here are my personal ratings:

It was nice to feel home-taste food in the far west Europe.

I really enjoyed the Butter Chicken and the Naan bread! I've dined in a few times and thought that the restaurant looked beautiful, it definitely makes you feel closer to Indian culture. Plates are very hygienic, and everything is very nicely spiced. One small tip, maybe the waiters can be more attentive to the customers as sometimes you have to wait quite a long time to be noticed - but that's just a minor issue! I definitely recommend this place and will most definitely come back :)

Visited this cute restaurant during our Swiss Holiday, I was stunned by how amazing the food was. I was traveling from Canada, and im certain the palak paneer i got was the best I have ever had. Definitely will be visiting again! Do yourself a favor and order the curry!

Surprisingly good food for a hole in the wall type place. The vada pav is good (with the dry chatni), pav bhaji is ok (tomato based) and the samosas are pretty good. The schezwan rice was on the spicy side ... We couldn't finish the whole plate. The serving size is generous.

Went there for dinner. Food was great and very tasty and on the top of that service was very fast. Ambience of restaurant was very good, feels like you are sitting in a Palace. Didn’t expect such good restaurant Switzerland

I never left a bad review for a restaurant, but this is worth mentioning. I walked in to this place based on the hotel recommendation. Unfortunately i left very disappointed, the waiters are extremely rude and act as if they are serving you from charity. When i tried to confront them about their attitude, it didn’t seem like it mattered to them at all which is quite surprising. Why have a restaurant open if you are not welcoming to guests, and if it was packed i would understand they might be having a rough/busy day but there was only one family dinning in there. Keep it up 🙏🏻 Good job

I cut 1 point for expensive food (though totally worth it) as compared to Swiss standards and less variety in vegetarian menu.

Being Indian, I can tell you, I have not seen the use of this much food colouring! It was blood red moreover I am absolutely shocked that you have submerged all the meat in this red gravy which is NOT what a mixed platter is supposed to be! You need to change your chef stop using so much food colour- such a let down. And to add to it- garlic naan had almost 3/4 pieces of garlic- not finely chopped like the traditional naan!

After the cutout of SRK and Kajol on top of Titliss, this one was the real shocker. An Indian restaurant which serves up Vada Pav with masala, Samosa n Masala Chai!!! Must say it was a pretty decent Vada and Masala Chai. Kaiwaan, the manager, was very friendly and prompt. In fact, the staff is quite prompt and efficient. It does get crowded in season so you do have to wait.
When you are coming down from Mount Titlis (Switzeland) ..you can try Indian Masala Tea here....with other indian Foods.. we enjoyed these amazing mouthwatering bites here. Good atmosphere, price is bit high but its ok when you get authentic Indian taste. Masala tea was very good.

Food is excellent. We have never been disappointed we have had this food several times @ the restaurant and a take out. I’ve very high expectations from meals not to boast but being honest. Service is rated @ 3 stars for the lack of staff available to set expectations for others. Quality and taste of food is worth the wait.

Best Indian food who’s craving for it. We had masala chai and pav bhaji, vegetable Hakka noodles. Noodles was best and delicious. Highly recommended for Indian food.

Loved the taste of food. They serve really authentic Indian taste. Living in Germany for almost 4 years and visited different countries and tried Indian food everywhere but this place has best taste, found the best chutney with samosas. Also considering the prices of the Switzerland, prices are good. Moreover quality and quantity served is good. As compared to the restaurant offering food above at titlis, it's worth coming down and enjoy these amazing mouthwatering bites.
Great food experience specially getting the indian food right at the foot hills of titlis along with such a authentic taste is a experience on its own. The masala vhai , samosa is the pick from the menu. Liked it.

We came in here as part of Europe tour in a group and even though we arrived at 2045, the food was kept hot and since seating area is plenty, the guests did not have problem to find their places.
Only grouse is that there is an level difference between the food and seating area, which caused 3 of our travellers to trip and fall down. Hence the reduced rating to 4*.
The kheer could have been done better as it was but solid.
Buffet style food had chapathi(oil or butter should be less), basmati rice, veg curry, aloo gobi and daal. Salad, pickle, curd completed the menu.
Those who wanted to have some beer (can was 5€) and whiskey (Black label was 12€ for 60&15 for 90), can have it at the bar. Be prepared to pay in cash in case your card does not pass through their card reader.

BEWARE VEGANS! This Indian restaurant in Bern has chosen to label a large selection of their dishes vegan. As vegans, this was appealing and helpful to us searching for dinner so we decided to eat here. We told the server we were vegan and would order options as such. We ordered 4 dishes. Two salads arrived with cream dressing which was clearly not vegan. And then our chapati arrived covered in butter. We had to send it all back and wait while the rest of our food got cold. There was no acknowledgement of these mistakes by the staff. This is not an inexpensive restaurant (even for Switzerland). Definitely would not recommend.
Haven't had such an amazing and tasty Indian food since long time, but this restaurant was just so good and perfect. Service was attentive, waiters are very friendly, food was - more than enough - flavorful and delicious! Definitely coming back again, once we are in Engelberg!

Last night we had a team dinner and the restaurant we have selected for this occasion was Namaste India City. The restaurant is very well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated. You feel like in the palace of a Maharajah.
The selection of dishes is enormous. You have all varieties of food, from vegan to meat lover. The restaurant also serves Indian wine and beer.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, sometimes a bit overwhelmed when there are many guests ordering in the same moment. The food was outstanding delicious. I have had the okra masala along with a garlic naan. Exactly the way I love it. For dessert I have chosen a chai masala along with a gulab jamun. It was really tasty. All in all it was a great experience and it was worth going to this place. It has definitely not been my last visit to this location.

Perhaps the best hotel we have dined in so far. Lot of options and really amazing food. Don’t miss out on desserts. Highly recommend this hotel.

From hangry to food coma in under an hour... Great Indian and non-Indian food. Very friendly staff and a nice decorated restaurant. And if you have a rice shortage, just ask for more.

You won't find a really good Indian restaurant with the close to real flavor of Indian food. Here I found it very apt mixture of everything. To start with the ambience was nice and soothing, Anish was great with his talks and suggestions along with proper help in everything. The owner was also very kind and talked personally quite a bit saw him doing the work there which felt quite good. The food tasted like what we usually get in India. Do go once, they have really nice well balanced menue and the buffet lunch was quite filling.
The chicken take-away was delicious and reasonably priced. I only have two minor suggestions: I was only given a spoon, but fork and knife would've been handier. Also, I would love to see a menu option with lamb meat.
One of the indian restaurants in paris , the menu was amazing , i love the style how food was served in steel thali type plate , the menu was mostly vegetarian but there were two Non-veg curry one was chicken curry and another one was fish curry overall food was amazing less spicy good taste.

Decent place to have a Shisha in Geneva. Located in Monthoux, it only serves Shisha and drinks. No food is available. There are some decent flavours available here but it's not rate the place amongst the best I've tried.
As with everything in Geneva and Switzerland in general, this place is pretty costly. It was off-putting to have a "musician" preform right next to us and then demand tips.
The whole street is lined with Shisha parlours so to try some of the other ones too as the were better options there which are not listed on Google, Emirates Cafe, to name one.

When we asked for the bill before paying, they brought us a receipt saying:
