Wir waren während der Määs spontan bei diesem Thailändischen Restaurant. Bedienung war gut. Bezahlen darf man an der Theke, ist aber ok. Wir hatten drei verschiedene Thai Gerichte gegessen. Chicken Fleisch war ok, aber grosse und ganz kleine Stücke drin. Rindfleisch war zäh und nicht ok. Die Thai Saucen waren ungewohnt. Uns haben die Saucen mit Gemüse nicht so gefallen. Keine Ahnung warum es dort anders schmeckt als bei anderen Thai. Wir würden dort nicht mehr essen gehen. Preis von den Tagesmenü mit 17 oder 18 Fr. Ist günstig. Getränk alle im PET 4 Fr. auch fair.

The spring rolls are really too oily, the pork with sweet and sour sauce are very poorly seasoned. Thai cocktails are just okay. I’ve eaten lots of Thai restaurants in different countries including Thailand, this is almost the worst one I’ve ever had.

I often visit this Thai restaurant because it's more authentic, the service is friendly, even though it's not very spacious but the seating is comfortable.

Their prices are over the top though. We had an appetizer, two main courses, two beers and a bottle of water. Altogether that clocked in at CHF 147, which is about 30% above what would've been reasonable.

Mega leckeres und authentisches Essen. Bedienung tip top. Sie war humorvoll und hat Freude verbreitet. Einzig das Ambiente war halt Imbissmässig aber durchaus ok. Witzig waren die Übersetzungen ins Deutsche an der Wand 😅

Sehr sehr schönes Restaurant um sehr guter authentischer Küche. Das Mittagsmenü (insbesondere die Bento-Box) ist immer ein Genuss. Das Personal steht's freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell.
Missed having warm hearty Asian food after traveling out of Asia for our 2 weeks trip to Europe. This place certainly satisfied our craving and warmed us up during a rainy day. The owners were very friendly. We had the Tom Yam soup with Fish and the chicken fried rice. Large portion was quite a lot for 2 people we should have got medium unless you have big appetites. Their home made chilli was spicy and very tasty too.
The food was excellent. However there was nothing awesome about it that I have not tried at other thai restaurants. I ordered red curry with Australian beef, it was very good. I had half of a sampler platter and fried banana with vanilla ice cream for 116 Francs.
I tried the lunch buffet here and I enjoyed it. I liked the peanut sauce to complement the vegetarian spring rolls. Something helpful to share: I arrived at 12:30 and there were certain dishes displayed but empty, such as fried rice. When asked if they will be making anymore since the lunch is until 14:00, he mentioned the cook was already gone. Understandable, as the place did not have many guests. The food is okay and if you're craving Thai food it may satisfy your craving. The ambiance could be better well lit and I sat near the window for lighting. There was another side of the restaurant which might have had a better atmosphere. Fair price.

Sehr leckeres Essen, die Bedienung erschien am Abend unseres Besuchs aber sehr überfordert zu sein. Am besten man holt sich sein Essen ab oder geht in das gleichnamige Restaurant um die Ecke. Das sah von außen sehr schön aus - leider wussten wir davon erst als wir nach dem Essen dort vorbei liefen.

Small but cozy restaurant (take away) with delicious food. The waitresses are very nice and friendly, they really make you feel welcome. Prices are in the normal range for Luzern. I highly suggest this place.
The chef introduced the dishes to us patiently, and the food is awesome with satisfying potion and authentic Thai flavour. Recommend!
Beautiful atmosphere, good music, fast service. Pricey for the quality of food. We have eaten much better and tastier Asian but the vegetables were fresh and well cooked
Hands down the best Thai food in Lucerne (also the best Thai food I've ever had). The flavours are authentic and everything is freshly made and presented so beautifully. My palate was really happy :)

Einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsthai-Restaurants in der Schweiz und darüber hinaus👍 sehr gute Qualität und echtes Thaiessen zu fairen Preisen! Sehr nette Gastgeber. Nur zu empfehlen.

I work near by and the fried rice with veggies is my save „fallback“ lunch choice, that never fails and is always affordable.
Food is really good - enjoyed the fish and the chicken. Where they stumble is the service. Maybe an off night - but we were seeing others who came later get their meals first…. And the place was really really hot.
Would I come back? Yes - food is primo, staff are nice, but … they could be a top place in Zurich with just up leveling the service a little :)

I love it! It’s completely unorganized, pieced together with whatever was laying around, and yet it works. It’s the most unassuming place but that makes it almost homey and the food is great!
Food is great fair price but staff is super rude and looks tired. They are not funny rude like Uncle Roger, but just downright rude.
Had dinner with the family at this establishment. We all enjoyed the meals. We did not have to wait long for the waiter to ask for our drink selection and the food came only 15-20 minutes after the drinks arrived. Green Curry, Mekong Soup, Siam Rice and Mekong Noodles were all done very well. None of us could complain: food was delicious and nice portions. Definitely would return. Only reason Service was a 4 vs. 5 was that the new waiter made a mistake and brought the wrong size soup. The team there was very friendly.

My most favorite place to go for authentic Thai food 👍. The portion is big. Recommend booking ahead as it can get packed during rush hours. Staff is always nice and friendly. This is the only place in Lucerne that I would recommend for locals and tourists, if you ever crave real Thai food.
Decided when we walked by to grab some thai takeout to enjoy by the lake on a really lovely evening. Menu seems straightforward and similar to other thai places - we got the spring rolls, pad thai and vegetable noodles. Spring rolls were fine, but they were fried (I was hoping for the fresh ones); Pad Thai had a unique flavor to it vs. other places that I did not care for and could have used bean sprouts; Vegetable Noodles were relatively simple and tasted like chicken broth but otherwise did not have a sauce and could have had more vegetables. The food did the trick, service was friendly, but the food quality wasn't the best that we've had (especially at nearly 20CHF for each main dish).
The best chicken satay I have ever had, and the most delicious peanut dipping sauce I have ever had as well! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome and we were accommodated very quickly. Such a nice atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend to anyone.

So whenever i was looking for Pad-Kra-Pao, i never really get a real Pad-Kra-Pao that i always want but food from here, it helped me a lot from missing my home🇹🇭.
The staff who i met, she's really Nice and Friendly.(Thailand is the land of smile if you see someone not smiling just try to be understand that they're tried from working hard.)
She suggested me the menu and because i've been aboard for so long... i really can't eat spicy so she told me with the spicy level which helped me a lot!!!
I ordered take away because i enjoy having food from my hotel room but such a shame!
It might look small from the outside but inside of the resturant are super amazing! Aura of Thailand~ 😍 #ThailandVibes

It's just look so amazing and i'm sure it will be good. Hope to stay in this town longer so i could order that Rare dish menu... it's hard to find Kao-Man-Kai abroad!

Wir haben Take away bestellt und uns wurde vergessen den Reis mitzugeben. Die Frühlingsrollen waren pampig. (Wie aufgewärmt, nicht frisch und auch nicht knackig.) wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Das Personal war aber freundlich.
Ich bin absolut begeistert von dem Pad Thai, das ich je gefunden habe! Es ist einfach das Beste! Was mich besonders glücklich macht, ist, dass das Restaurant sogar bereit ist, auf Anfrage zusätzliche Zwiebeln hinzuzufügen. Das zeigt wirklich, dass sie sich um ihre Kunden kümmern. Ich bin so dankbar für diese wunderbare Erfahrung!
Tasty and healthy! This food is fantastic, every bite is a delight. At the end of the meal one feels properly nourished yet light and not over full.
Best Chicken Saté in Zurich - check out the menu on Mondaymorning and go there for Chicken Saté. Not really nice to dine in but get a take-away - seriously amazing! Also the service, very efficient and always friendly and thankful for tips :)
Ordered takeaway. Great service, fair prices, tasty dishes. Personally prefer the fried noodles with vegetables (in picture) compared to to the pad thai (I tried this the next day). Also the dish of fried chicken with vegetables with some chilli (not pictured) was quite a bit oilier because of the chilli oil.

You know the food is gonna be lit when the restaurant is in a random street side alley. We got the daily special curry and it was hitting the spot. Everything works well together. Also the owner is very friendly and likes to joke around - he also gave us recommendations on tourist places to visit! Highly recommend this spot for all Thai food enjoyers
First off, the service was impeccable. They accommodated our large group with multiple food allergies with much grace and care. The food is excellent. The ambience is inviting and convivial. The location is incredibly convenient to the train station, and to be honest, I had the most amazing red wine there. Do your taste buds and your spirits a good turn and enjoy an amazing meal here at Mekong!!

Restaurant is unhygienic, food was overpriced and disappointing, waiter/waitresses’ (I suppose are the owners of the restaurant) attitude was horrendous.
We ordered the beef pho noodle soup and chicken fried rice. Chicken fried rice was bland, beef pho noodle soup tasted more like a bland thai boat noodle soup instead of pho.
While eating the beef noodle soup, we noticed a couple bugs inside and soon realized there were more inside (at least 5 in there). When we raised this to the owner, instead of apologizing, they kept denying and insisted that it’s the broth scum from the beef bone even though we had photos of the bugs showing the legs.
They eventually refunded us the money but did not extend an apology to us at all. Would give them a negative review if I could.

Bester Thai im Umkreis von 50 Kilometern. Faire Preise, alles frisch zubereitet, daher dauert es 5 Minuten länger. Die Zeit lohnt sich aber.

We just arrived at Hbf, and after trying a few places that were closed, despite Google Maps saying there were open, we gave a try to this Thai shop/restaurant with not many expectations. However, the food was delicious and of great value. It's a simple buffet style where you pick 2 out of 5 options. There were vegetarian, fish, and three meat options that all tasted incredible.
The place recreates a night market with street food and the service was very friendly and fun.

The food is really good with affordable price. The service staff is little bit slow to attend your table, but it's still a good place to eat if you are not in a rush and don't mind to wait for a while.

The food tasted good. We ordered a soup, red Thai curry, and stir fried morning glory with Tofu. We couldn't finish the stir fried morning glory, so, we asked for a takeaway and then paid. After we waited for a good 10-15 mins for the takeaway, we went to ask at the counter. They apologized that they forgot, and then handed us a takeaway box which was supposed to be our stir fried morning glory. Since we were in a hurry to catch the train and there was only one other group in the restaurant we didn't check what was inside. We got home, opened the box and it turned out it was not our leftovers but something else. Check the attached picture.
Best Thai food in Zürich. I have been coming here and recommending it for years. The service is really quick and most the time they are really kind but sometimes they can be blunt. The atmosphere can be crowded at peak times so be aware of that. The food is amazing though and they give generous portions I would not go anywhere else for Thai food in Zürich.

Walk to Zurich HB there is a supermarket there who sells hot food more worth the price than this and a lot cheaper. Food is decent some are tasty.. lots of buts in between not to go back again. Tourist trap in my humble opinion. It's near that's why you settle.

Yummy Tom yum soup. They have vegetarian options too … service was amazing and the lady at the counter was warm and friendly. Highly recommend!!
This was the best food we could have found in Zurich ! Food was great, lady was also very helpful. We got their buffet. Environment was great too and liked the setting they had. It was little non typical than regular restaurants.
Fantastische Spare Ribs die auf der Zunge zergehen und in der Harmonie mit der Marinade kaum mehr zu übertreffen sind. Die Rindsfilet Streifen und der Tintenfisch sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Sehr netter Service. Die Preise sind leider deutlich zu hoch angesetzt und wären für 2 Michelin Sterne angemessen. Trotzdem komme ich wieder.

We were speechless: tue best ethnic food dinner in ages!!!! Tastes were so balanced, delicate (the steamed sea bass was something to die for!) yet with strong character (in the red Thai curry case). If we were living in Luzern, Thai Garden would be one of our hot spots!!! Very efficient, smiling, friendly and helpful staff!!! Amazing decor!
Chaima take away has been on my list of places to visit for a long time. Today I finally made it. My wife and I both ordered Pad Thai (Tofu and Chicken). Both were absolutely delicious. The menu isn't extensive, but that doesn't matter as that ensures absolute freshness. And you can definitely taste that they only use the freshest ingredients and as everything is prepared to order, be prepared to wait a little. We weren’t expecting much for a Thai restaurant in the middle of Switzerland, and this ended up being a pleasant surprise. The ambience is amazing, it transports you to an intimate garden. The service was friendly and helpful, special mention to the manager.

Good place for takeaways. It is a small restaurant and ideal for takeaways. There is place to dine in as well. Food was tasty and great. The owner is very friendly and warm. Recommended for takeaways

Delicious fried rice and chicken pad Thai! My husband and I live in California, and have had our share of travel and Thai food. This was delicious and Gluten Free!! I wasn’t sick after eating either dish. Portions are huge (enough to split) and price is very fare for Zurich. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Among WORST Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten in my life. Earned my 1 star for the ambiance and interior. Please change your Chef if that’s possible. I’ve been trying Thai restaurants all around the world and even in Thai. This one is way more off my acceptable taste.
The best Thailand restaurant I ever visit. We ordered Tom Yam and Tom Kha with garnelen and seafood. It is indeed pricy, 25 euro each. But it is worth it. The flavour is great, the seafood and shrimp are many. I lost count how many is it and they are big. The waiters are friendly. The vibe is very Thai. It seems they are from Thailand because the can speak Thailand also. 10/10 recommended.
Chiang Mai Thai Shop is a little gem located close to HB and famous for their delicious and freshly made takeout offer. They offer daily menus (published on their webpage) for 16/ 19 CHF (takeout/ eat in) for a “small”portion of 1-2 meat/ veggie dishes & rice (see second picture). After 13:30 (or on pre-order, as it takes about 15’) they also have Thai soups such as Khao Soi (picture), a flavorful noodle soup originating from Chiang Mai (eat in price: 21 CHF). This soup was amazing and will definitely become a new regular order for lunch time 🇹🇭🍜There is nothing not to love about this authentic thai: fuss-free, quick, friendly and most of all delicious and fair priced! Possibly one of the best cheap eats & takeaways in town for me! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Very authentic! Super tasty, strongly recommend the papaya salad, please order the version with crab:) The fried fish was so fresh, and it came with a small portion of salad, which gives lots of Thai flavor. Dong yum gong is so good...
Food is yummy but a little salty for me. Service is good too. I specially like the Aquarium in this restaurant. I usually go there with my boyfriend, also request to be seated in the table near Aquarium. Highly recommended.
Welcoming friendly Thai staff so expect real Thai cuisine. If you want to try their Khao Soi, which I personally tried in Chiang Mai, come after 1:30pm. (It is only served in Northern Thailand or Myanmar). We ordered 1 rice and 1 viand from the choices in the tray. We were craving for just chicken and spicy food. I love eating spicy so happy that they have available sicy condiments per table. They check your EU Covid Pass when you dine in :) You pay when you exit and they give you candy for any after taste left in your tongue.

Amazing takeaway packaging! The food is great too, curry is not oily or heavy like in other places. Very well done!
A very delicious Thai experience that you definitely need to check out. They only serve several dishes a day and they serve it cafeteria style. The food was fresh and tasty, and the women working there were super friendly and accommodating. A cool Soave to eat in as well. Worth trying if you’re in the area.

I had the Sen Phat Nam Prikpau Samunprai (spicy rice noodles with vegetables and tofu) for only 17 CHF! The food was fantastic and you can feel how fresh everything is. No glutamate and everything is freshly made. It was probably the best Thai food I’ve had.
The lady is also very nice who’s running the restaurant and she explained a lot about the food.
If you are in a hurry it is better to call and preorder because it takes a while till it is cooked and ready.

Great fast food thai. Red curry is the best. Small portion is generous. Big one tough to finish.
Unfriendly, unflexible and even rude at times... Cannot have a glas of whater with my meal, hello? And the waitress was so rude, I was friendly and wanted to eat there, but not like this... Left while ordering and went to eat at Spiga instead. Apparently they don't need my money, fine for me but you get my bad review for free.

Haven't been here since they moved few stores down the block. It is more spacious and bright now with 6 huge tables (beautiful tables) and outdoor seating. The staffs are friendly as always and the food is still very authentic and delicious. I took the small portion one and was still plenty of food👍

I like this place. It's modest. I would recommend it especially for take-away lunch dishes. There are usually 5 lunch dishes ( with meat or fish or tofu or shrimps ) at a good price of 13.50/ 14 for small portion, 16.50 for big portion. But one can also take a seat and enjoy something else on their Menu.

I love their food, I love their friendly service (always happy), and they are very oriented towards some personalisations if you don't like some items in the food. Some places look at your weird even when you dare mention a request to not include some ingredients, even if easy to remove, here, so far they were always happy to do it. For a "chain" restaurant, I think this is great.
Very flavourful and fresh take away. They really care for what they serve you and a big bonus for the fresh homemade hot and sweet-sour sauces! Gladly coming back!
