Best Chophouse restaurants in Germany

delicious steak and nicely cooked, service was prompt and consistently checking up with us if we need anything. Vibe is very nice due to its location. Minor point felt like they wanted us to leave as soon as we finished food.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. One of the best steak restaurants, period. Steaks are cooked to tender perfection, service is friendly and patient. This place is a must visit.

The best steak I have had in Europe in many years, with perfectly cooked vegetables. Wash it all down with a few bottles of smooth Malbec. This should makes for a beautiful evening one would think.

There was a huge BUT though....

At these prices the last thing you expect is exceptionally slow service from the kitchen, and when I say slow, I mean SLOW!!! Then on top you have to remind the poor waiter none of the sauces ordered came with the meals.

PS: I have never seen a red chimichurri in my life, green yes, not red....

What an excellent restaurant, I believe one of the best in Cologne. The place was clean and with a traditional German touch. We ordered fillet, Mediterranean salad and cheeseburger. Everything we tasted was exquisite. Service helpful and friendly.Highly recommended 👌

Zu dem Essen kann man nur sagen - Perfekt! Für Fleischliebhaber ist alles dabei. Wir waren zu fünft dort essen und alles war auf den Punkt gegrillt! Preislich gehört das Colina definitiv zur Uperclass, dafür war der Service aber auch sehr gut. Der ganze Laden ist ein bisschen dunkel, was mich hier leider nicht die volle Punktzahl geben lässt. Fazit - wer für gutes Essen gerne etwas tiefer in die Tasche greift, der ist hier genau richtig!

Als großer Steakliebhaber war ich kürzlich in einem der besten Steakrestaurants 🥩 in Kölle und ich muss sagen, ich war absolut begeistert. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir freundlich vom Kellner begrüßt und er erklärte uns die Karte sehr gut und gab uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen.
Das Steak, das ich bestellt habe, war einfach köstlich. Es war perfekt zubereitet, saftig und hatte einen unglaublichen Geschmack.

Neben dem fantastischen Essen war auch der Service ausgezeichnet. Der Kellner war aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr professionell. Er sorgte dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte und war immer bereit, uns bei Fragen oder Wünschen zu helfen.

Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal hintereinander mit dem Essen im Colina und dem Service nicht zufrieden. Das Fleisch hatte schon wieder eine miserable Qualität. Das T-Bone Steak war ohne das Filetstück, die Rumpsteaks waren faserig und alle Fleischstücke lauwarm. Die Folienkartoffeln ebenso. Von Service braucht man gar nicht reden, denn den gab es nicht. Die Hauptgerichte kamen und unser Tisch stand noch voll von den Vorspeisentellern. Nach Getränken wurde überhaupt nicht gefragt. Und das, obwohl das Lokal nur zur Hälfte ausgelastet war. Vor Jahren war das mal ein tolles Steakhaus, aber die Zeiten sind vorbei. Das war definitiv unser letzter Besuch im Colina. Schade ums Geld.

Nice and comfortable passage in old town Munich.

The kindest and cutest "gluhwein" sellers in the city when everything around was closed.. Shoppers will also like it here. So, yes, go through it!

Great place....great location..good food. But everything is expensive!

Lots.of variety of shops. In Christmas time the decoration is fantastic. Since this is covered one can enjoy shopping even in bad weather.

Kaufingertor Passage is a 70-metre long arcade style shopping space not far from Marienplatz in the Old Town. Shops seem to be open from approximately 10 am to 8pm daily.

You'll find a handful of retail shops and a couple places to eat or grab a coffee. We liked the interesting hanging butterfly decorations and glass ceiling of the passage, which allows natural light to filter down to the ground floor.

Overall, probably not a critical place to include for most visitors to Munich but Kaufingertor Passage adds well to the shopping experience along Kaufingertor Strasse - Neuhauser Strasse and is potentially worth ducking in for a visitor during your time in Munich.

Nice place with lots of shops and a few cafes. Prices are medium to expensive so definitely not for your cheap shopping.
