Another Berlin Zoo, that is very different from the classical zoo. It occupies a very vast territory (so be prepared to walk and to spend a whole day inside). Also the animals have a big grounds and sometimes are not even in cages. The animal number and variety is medium. But red panda, leopard, giraffes and flamingo are really very nice (also other animals) there are also children playgrounds, wooden chaise longues and dining facilities. On the contrary the indications are not always clear. I highly recommend if you want to spend a day in the nature.

Spent all day at this amazing place. Very large grounds and the animals looked like they were happy. Good food all around the park without having to go back to the restaurants. Toilets everywhere as well.

What an absolutely beautiful place and experience. I've been to many zoos over the years but this was by far the best. The way it is laid out really gives a sense of space and the enclosures are really cleverly designed to make it feel like you are getting up close to the animals. Highlights were the polar bears and the lemur enclosure. I can't recommend this zoo highly enough.

You will need a whole day to explore this zoo 😆 but it was worth it. There are plenty of animals and plants that you can see. There is also a huge garden in the middle of the zoo. It it so beautiful.

Enjoyed time observing a beautiful Gorilla whom was very curious.
Their grounds are amazingly groomed and there is something to look at in every corner. The park is clean and the prices are so reasonable. Make the trip and don't forget to checkout all of the green houses and gardens

Huge and fun zoo… they have lots of animals and different kinds of plants too… beautifully arranged and cute themed playground on every section…
Good place to have a rest alone, with friends or family. Cozy restaurant / cafe could serve you some food and beverages. A lot of trees and herbs create comfortable atmosphere. Also boat station could rent you some katamaran boat or usual boat and you could make your tour here more exciting. So, my best recommendations here!

It is one of the biggest and best zoos in Europe. I know zoos get a lot of bad reputations, but this is a huge park where most animals are allowed to roam free. ALL DOGS ARE WELCOME! it a great place.

Large Zoo with a lot of secluded park spots, so it doesn't feel crowded at all. Got active tiger cubs and polar bears. I don't have kids. But it looks like it's great for kids. Large playgrounds etc
Nice place, worth a visit. Great combination between animals and attractions. You can easy spend the whole day with your children there. Definitely will be visiting next year again!

Way better and bigger than the Zoo. It’s a huge park where you can easily spend a day. Lots of animals to see. There’s a playground as well, restaurant, etc. Beautiful and well maintained. Definitely recommended to spend a day/visit! Best to buy the tickets online to avois long queues.

Very nice and intensive place to go at. It is a huuuuge Zoo where you can spent easily three hours plus at (and even more with kids). Sometimes you may have waiting lines for certain areas, but this is rather seldom within the week. You have to opportunity to buy snacks, ice and drinks and (if you want) on the other end of the zoo is a restaurant. There are many places to sit and I would recommend to take a blanket with you to sit on the grass. I really liked it to be there, but to go without water or something to eat in between I wouldn't recommend. Nice zoo, good prices (two persons, kid and adult for roundabout 25 euros) and lots of stuff to see. Go for it! 😉

Unexpectedly this is a really good zoo. It has lot of species and has a great funfilled sea lion show.
We spent a full day here and enjoyed very much. Although one must be prepared to do lot of uphill-downhill which makes you tired.
We attended few feeding sessions and except for Penguin and Sea lion, rest were average.

Beautiful park and well organized zoo. I loved the atmosphere there. I hope some of the animals had a bigger area to roam around though, especially the fishes and the reptiles.
Nice park and clean
A good place to spend a day with family.
Safari Land offers ca. 10-15 minute Safari experience (we went with our own car). After that a fun amusement park awaits. There is a wide variety of options, for different age people. Both a two year old and a grown up can find something to do. There is shows going on (for example a circus show with dedicated artists which brought fun to children).
We spent around six hours there and all of them were enjoyable.
Yes, the park is not huge and yes, it is definitely not new, but that doesn’t mean it can’t provide you a fun day.
The food was good, coffee was tasty. Toilets were quite clean, had both paper and soap.
Definitely worth visiting.
Ps we visited this park on a rainy day. Durning rain some of the rides had to close (the ones who were not under roof). After the rain stopped they started to allow people riding it again.

Super! The rides are simple, but enjoyable. Many are available only for kids 7±, though. Miniature buildings give the opportunity to teach a bit of history (however, some of them desperately need a paint job).
Nice place for picnic and kids to play

Great for children of all ages. Outstanding place to spend some hours, visiting, seeing the Wonders of the World and other historic landmarks in Miniature. The rides are specifically for children.

A nice zoo and garden! A great day with the kids. Lots of walking but well worth the effort. The map was super helpful! The penguin feeding is at 1430 and sea lion approx 1515-1530

This is not the Berlin zoo, but SOOO much better. A beautiful park with close animal exposure. The enclosures are thematic, with details from the area the animals are originally located. A train ride through the main area is free and let's you see many of the animals quickly. The sections are divided into world geographic areas, with the Himalayan section particularly inventive. So many varieties of animals and plenty of shade and sitting areas. The new Dino experience is fun, and it can be viewed without paying the extra $2-4 fee. This may be my favorite zoo ever, which is saying a lot. The animals have lots of freedom and risk more naturally than the typical zoo. The new elephant enclosure is under construction, and it looks like the most exciting animal enclosure I've ever seen. I highly recommend visiting. This was an amazing experience and one of the best places we visited on our European trip.

A vast and diverse zoo with hundreds of animal and plant species. We spent 5 hours inside it and there's a nice restaurant too.
If you plan accordingly, you can view the animals during their feeding time.
Note: Pets are not allowed inside.

It is very nice place to spend with your children/family. The place is very huge and clean with many wild animals to visit. We didn't manage to visit the whole area in one day with kids.
The entrance price is very expensive if you buy a day ticket which costs 20€ per adult and 8.5 € per kid. But yearly ticket is fairly priced which is around 68€.

Nice place with animals and a lot of entertainment for kids. The way goes via wild animals, where they live and it is possible to watch them from the car. Never seen that before. Really fantastic! Price for 1 adult and kid was around 55€. Plan for this place the whole day, cause you can eat and layon the grass if needed.

The tickets were way too expensive. The flowers were nice but there was no flair to the show. Also, there's no way I could have walked the entire thing. The distance between exhibits was too far.

Really beautiful place
I could just spend the whole day here! My kids love this place. The only problem (in my opinion) is lack od toilets.

A very good place for children. All attractions inside the park are free. There are several toilets in the park. I added a photo of the map and ticket prices. It is better to arrive as early as possible in order to have time to see and try everything.

Kids LOVED this! The place feels a bit "retro", but everything was in great condition and felt very safe. Much better than Karl's Erdbeerhof! 😉
Had only few animals. But it brings the feel of visiting a African Safari. Probably we can say it is a mini version. Amusement park with a lot of activities for all ages will keep you entertained for the rest of the day. Nice place to spend a day with family and friends.

Good value for money. Sure the tivoli has had its best days but the kids had fun and everything is included in the price (except electric cars). The miniatures are well made but some additional information for each building would be great because right now it's just the name.
Lovely park!
