Sehr leckere gutbürgerliche Küche. Das Personal ist nett- und hilfsbereit und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k.
Das Ambiente des Restaurants verspricht schon am Eingang ein authentisches Erlebnis. Das Essen und das Interesse des Personals waren auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Auch das Design der Inneneinrichtung hat mir gefallen. Das Lachsfilet und das Tiramisu, die ich gegessen habe, hatten ein hohes Geschmacksniveau. Wir haben mehr als 2 Stunden mit unseren Freunden verbracht. Es ist ein tolles Ziel, das wir bei einer Stuttgart-Reise wieder besuchen können.

Me and my son had lunch here today. Typical swabian restaurant. The meatball was very salty and spicy, patato salad was nice as side dish. Roasted pork was too salty. Could not eat it😞 side salad was fresh and nice. Together with Big bottle of water, total cost is 36 euro. Didn’t worth it.
Perfekter Mediumrare Rostbraten ohne Austritt von Fleischsaft. Schmaler scharf angebratener Rand. Von vorne bis hinten perfekt. So bekommen ihn nur die wenigsten hin. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend.

I refuse to gave five stars because of roasted potato side dish. It was roasted in very used and unpleasant smelly oil. The rest of food abs salad was perfectly fresh.

Wir waren schon des öfteren zu Essen da und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Aber das was ich heute bekam war unter aller Kritik. Entenbrust mit Rotkraut und Serviettenknödel. An sich ein gutes Essen aber die Anrichteweise entsetzlich! Von das Auge isst mit keine Spur. Es sah eher aus wie in einem Schweinetrog. Ein tiefer Teller, in der Mitte das Rotkraut, beides schwamm in der Soße und obendrauf die Entenbrust. Das sollte der Koch mal selbst essen. Mir war der Appetit vergangen. Das Fleisch konnte man nicht schneiden, da es im Rotkraut versank und der Serviettenknödel war matschig, da er in der Soße lag. Also wenn man Gäste vergraulen will, dann muss man so weitermachen. Wir werden uns mal nach anderen Lokalen umschauen. Schade, denn wir sind extra wegen dem "guten" Essen nach Bad Waldsee gefahren. Der junge Kellner war sehr nett und brachte mir einen flachen Teller. Aber da war mir der Appetit schon vergangen. Könnte es sein, dass man glaubt es sich leisten zu können, da man immer gut besucht ist? Das hat schon manchen die Existenz gekostet. Wenn man ein bestimmtes Niveau hat, muss man es halten wenn man bestehen will. Ich kann nur hoffen, dass man sich wieder darauf besinnt was wichtig ist und was man gelernt hat.
Gehe dort gern zum Essen - sehr guter Service - gutes Essen und man kann sich dort in Ruhe unterhalten.

Wir haben sehr lecker von der Tageskarte gegessen. Putenschnitzel mit Spaghetti und Salat. Sehr lecker. Leider war der Service ausnahmsweise nicht ganz so gut wie sonst gewohnt. Aber das hält uns nicht ab gerne wieder zu kommen.
Der Großteil der guten Bewertungen scheint vom vor-Pächter zu sein, lassen Sie sich also nicht von der Gesamtbewertung beeindrucken!

Na jah…Sie leben in einem Welt mit Menschen und wenn Sie nochmal mit einem Minderjährigen Sie sich so verhalten, dann können Sie Polizei bei ihrem Tür begrüßen!!! 😠 sehr unfreundlich/unhöflich und Sie sollen Ihre dreckige Restaurant selber ohne Putzmittel putzen!

Wir waren begeistert vom Essen. Wir haben den Schwabentelle und als Nachtisch die Apfelküchle gegessen. Können wir nur empfehlen! Der Service war klasse. Alle wirklich nett.
Wir waren zum Ersten Mal dort, gleich 9 Leute auf einmal. Es hat wunderbar geschmeckt, das Essen kam schnell und alle haben das Gericht gleichzeitig bekommen. Die meisten hatten Zwiebelrostbraten und die Garpunkte waren perfekt getroffen. Noch dazu waren die aufgerufenen Preise absolut angemessen. Werde ich bei der nächsten Tagung auf jeden Fall wieder so machen. Alles prima!

As for main dish, we had a steak with prawns and smashed potatoes. Perfect mix. Really liked the steak, super tender.
For dessert we had homemade ice cream that I didn’t take any picture of it. IT WAS SIMPLY DELICIOUS AND FRESH. My favorite flavor was pistachio.

Essen sehr Lecker, Mittagstisch zu fairen Preisen. Zimmer kann ich nicht werten da ich nicht übernachtet habe.

Soooo good! Everything we had was delicious! As my friend put it, “most food at restaurants tastes like it was made for the masses, but this food tasted like it was home cooked for you!”
The server was sooo lovely and sweet. It was cash only tho tonight- maybe it always is?
Such a cute inside- very cozy. Food took a little longer to come out but there was a bigger party next to us, so that may be why.

Had to try the cheese noodles which are a specialty food of Stuttgart, was underwhelming but the salad that came with it was sehr gut.
Had the weiner Schnitzel and kasespatzel on the side. The schnitzel is ok-good, but definitely not nearly as good as it could be, so I would get their other popular options instead. If you search there are may mixed reviews on it! Meatballs and potatoes or kasespatzle seem much better by that.

Das Lamm ist unsere absolute Lieblingsgaststätte. Das Essen ist sehr lecker; immer frisch und die Salate besonders hervorzuheben. Die Preise sind top. Der Service ist immer einwandfrei und extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlen uns dort rundherum wohl. Hoffentlich wird es das Lamm in dieser Form noch sehr lange geben.
Sehr gute schwäbisch Küche mit einer tollen Auswahl an Speisen. Der Rostbraten mit Spätzle ist sehr zum empfehlen. Bedienung super freundlich. Gerne wieder.

This place is an absolute gem, I can't recommend it enough. Friendly, english speaking staff ✅️ English menu ✅️ Delicious, well priced, and enormous food portions ✅️ and it's Germany so you know the beer is great. Great Swabian food and especially Spätzle! Wonderful atmosphere both inside and outside.
At the end of my meal I was too full to eat dessert so the serving lady brought me something small, on the house, just to be kind. Wonderful hospitality!

Wir waren zum Essen mit der Familie hier. Große Portionen, auch teilbar, schmackhaft zubereitet, regionale Küche und für sonst für jeden etwas dabei. Die Preise befinden sich in der mittleren Region. Es fehlt die Atmosphäre, es wirkt nicht gemütlich. Der Service ist international aufgestellt.

Came with family for 2 nights. Very comfortable and enjoyed the bells- my room faced the church and square. Very different from Canada, lovely stay and great food.
Liebe Leute das hier ist ein Geheimtipp. Wer super selbst gemachte schwäbische Gerichte liebt. Ist hier genau richtig. Super Essen tolle Bedienung süßes rustikales Ambiente. Komme wieder.
This place was my wedding venue in 2017. They were great back then but steaply declined ever since. Such a shame. Please hire new kitchen staff. We will sadly never go back or go to McDonalds because it will be better. It has so much potential like back in the day. But now it's for the bin.

Waren am Sonntag um 18 Uhr dort und Lokal war voll (unbedingt reservieren). Dementsprechend hat es gedauert, bis das Essen kam, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Super zubereiteter Rostbraten und lecker Maultaschen 😋 sehr gerne wieder 👍🏻
A great place to hang out in Schorndorf Germany. The people were amazing the moment we walked in the door. The staff was accommodating and greeted us with a smile every time they came to us. They gave us English reading menus and my wife and I went to town. We ordered wings, Brautwurst, bacon and cheese flat bread and I got the Wild Wild West which consisted of 3 different meats. Then a wonderful apple and cinnamon flat bread for dessert. The wings were ok. Kind of underwhelming for how they looked, but the wedges they came with were delicious. My wife's flatbread pizza with bacon was so delicious. Very tasty and light. My brats were decent. The potatoes they came with were marvelous. Very tasty. And the wild wild west was great. Especially with the herb butter.

Nice place in the city with local wines and traditional, filling food. The pork was tender and a good amount for the price. It came with a salad and the potato, which were super interesting. At the end of the meal they brought out a piece of bread and jam as a dessert.

This place was just PERFECT. The atmosphere you get from dining inside the restaurant gives you a very traditional and cozy vibe. The food beyond my expectations, and the staff? Potentially the most kind and friendly my family and I have seen so far in Stuttgart. ✨ Would definitely recommend it to anyone~
We stopped by here on our way to the Porsche Museum, as the restaurant is a mere five minute drive away. The restaurant has a big parking lot, which was very convenient for us. The food tasted decent and the portions were very generous. We struggled a bit with the menu as it was entirely in German. The service was friendly.
If you go to the Porsche museum like we did, I would recommend that you drive to this restaurant nearby. There is plenty of parking space, a nice garden, great service and great food - what else can you ask for?

Ich würde die Küche als gut bürgerlich bezeichnen ... schöne Auswahl und richtig lecker ... gehe immer mal wieder gerne hin.

Unfortunately, they did not let me eat anything or sit at a table because of the "rules" for the covid. The staff explained it nicely but that didn't eased my hunger...

Prices are a bit over the region limits. The beer and its hops not a characteristic one but the service is good and fast.

If you’re in germany you have to try the Schnitzel and this place certainly didn’t disappoint. Their portion was huge as you can see. The beer was also really good.
Really well preserved palace with a bus line right in front of it. The visit required a guided tour that is either in German or English. It depends on the amount of german speakers on the group. No photos are allowed inside

Beautiful castle situated in a nice location in stuttgart city. We reached this place by bike, starting from Universität Stuttgart Vaihingen campus. Its a nice ride with uphills and downhills and through forest. One can also hike to this castle from the Uni, through another castle called Bärenschlossle.
There is a cafe here where one could chill for sometime. Castle visits are also possible.

Most authentic German restaurant I could find in Stuttgart. Salad bar was the best I ever had. The main dish was very tasty although a wee bit too salty. The beer was excellent as well.

I went there a while ago. It was a decent restaurant with some okay beers. Nothing extraordinary but if you’re around try it.
I had some Käsespätzle and they were actually a bit bland. The cheese used for it could have been more aged. Like an old cheddar or Appenzeller.
The beers itself were okay and the prices were okay too. The best thing about it was actually how everything looked. Really cool though!

Wonderful building, there is available parking spaces, also a restaurant to have a coffee opening only in afternoons, in the night one can observe a great view to the city, one can arrive by public transportation, unfortunately not too much security around, can be around crazy teenagers drinking alcohol in the installations, I don't know now why the German police allows this.

We went there with a company of 10. The service was nice, place was clean and nice. But the food was just not tasty at all. And I don’t just speak for myself. One meat was oversalted, another meat undersalted, potato salad had too much vinegar, someone’s meat was undercooked. It looked nice on the plates, but it wasn’t to our liking.

Great, tasty and fresh food and interesting restaurant interior. Service was good as well. Would go there again.
update: while the staff are very friendly and helpful (5 stars for them) i have to report the following:
I ate there yesterday. Wurstsalat. It did not taste great but I am not one to complain and ate it. I have not been the same since. Got diarrhoea and have a constant feeling of nausea plus a massive headache. I found that the quality in this restaurant is not consistent. Sometimes the food is really nice and sometimes the same dishes are subpar. I am really not happy now.

We went here to eat and while we had to wait a while for the food to be served (even though very few other people were here), the food was excellent.

It's a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Schwäbisch food interpreted somewhat but very very good. We will come back :-)

We always look forward to our stay at Gasthaus Weisses Lamm. Family Kaiser are most hospitable and accommodating. The rooms are welcoming, the breakfast tasty and hearty for a day of sight-seeing, and on our return in the evening we can look forward to a delicious meal. The Maultaschen are the best in Schorndorf!
Edit: Sadly Family Kaiser no longer owns the Weisses Lamm. The new family is nice, but it does not have the gemutlichkeit or offer a frustuck. The children now living there are a little loud for tired travelers to contend with.
