Worst airport ever.
Designed to mock Americans and Asians.
Passport Control queue was far too long. Arrived at 10.30am on 14th September and took almost an hour to get through passport control. Only 4 desks open for 2 plane arrivals. It took so long that the baggage carousel had been turned off by the time we picked up our bags!

This isn’t the first time I found the toilets very dirty! This is how all the cubicles looked like in T1 arrivals. It hasn’t been checked and cleaned. The other cubicle doesn’t have tissues and full of trash as this one.

Airport is easy to navigate. Facilities need improvement and maintenance. They can add a few more places to eat inside.

Modern and really big airport. Easy to get to and easy to navigate around. Although it can take a bit of time.
Nice place to visit

Worst experience...very little communication. Dropped off for Delta flight at 620 am...Delta didn't open until 815 am. Very disorganized 👎

Most bizarre airport, nearly all the shops are before passport control! Once through passport control only 1 small cafe with long queues and a small duty free, no information about this before passport control. Guess this causes a last minute rush after people have shopped and eaten to get through passport control?

Can be a little crowded but if you go early then this place will give you no issues. Otherwise typical European Airport terminal

The airport terminal in the capital city, it is connected with T2 and T3. The departure hall is long to accommodate many check-in counters. Sometimes it is crowded when passengers flow in for the coming flight. Shuttle buses stop outside and link to T4. The route is well designed and the environment is well maintained.
One of the worst airport in terms of public transport connections, no time table, no information, you can’t pay with card and they don’t accept banknote so overall bad experience

I really liked this - but for all the wrong reasons. Imagine a tv show, where a bunch of mates get to run an airport for the day.

So think of how they I’ve interact, how important the customer is etc etc

Chummy, empty, no issues being dealt with - but just watch the staff - no rudeness, it’s just that if they are not dealing with you directly they are having a chat on the conveyor belts, sitting on each others laps and oddly: slapping each others heads at passport control

Weird - nothing bad, kind of joyful in a way, and just different I guess

Whoever designed the signs indicating how to get to places like bus stops, specific car parks, were not thinking from a perspective of someone trying to find a place. The signs do not make sense. Not enough signs. Signs in the wrong places. In general, extremely difficult to find anything in Madrid airport.

Nice airport accessible via the metro which makes it easy to get to. Plenty of shops and places to eat throughout the airport. Navigating the airport was smooth and takes the hassle out of travelling especially when you can pass through security relatively quickly.

The food options including places like McDonalds and Burger King were not massively inflated like at other airports. In fact these places seem to be the same price you would pay at anywhere in town. Other food outlets were reasonably priced so kudos for not trying to rip off passengers

*Run down airport, very little shops and confusing staff
We were trying to find a mail box to post our tax refund forms. One of the staff said there would be one after immigration check and recommended us to go through security and immigration check.

We went through immigration check and the staff inside said there are NO mail boxes after immigration check (we had to ask 3 different staff just to triple-check). It was really confusing and annoying - we now have to pay and post the tax refund forms when we return to our home country!

Shops and cafes are very limited - you better shop and eat before heading to this airport.
A comfortable flight into and from BCN airport T1. Arrival was past 23⁰⁰ and departure was at 07³⁰

The Aerobus was a great option to-from the city centre. Buy a return ticket for a great rate and valid for 90days. For countries with no Covid restrictions, please be aware that you must have a mask on to use public transportation including the Aerobus. You won't be allowed on without one.

Departure from Terminal 1 was ok but very long lines at the security check. Have your electronic boarding pass (Applicationor email) to avoid the loooooong queue for passengers with paper printed passes. Not sure why since a QR code is a QR!

I avoided at least a 45+min delay waiting in a queue by having the airline App ready.

Security was thorough and staff polite. After passing to the air side you have the usual shopping. A long walk towards my gate, which was at the very end of the Terminal, so get to the airport with time to spare during those morning rush hours.

All in all a standard -good- first experience
Fast lines, good conditions overall.
Small and organised airport. Huge parkings. Clean.

Huge airport, lots of shops and things to do! There is a huge outdoor terrace that you can enjoy on a sunny day! Security is fast and lines are well organised

Beautiful place in a sunny day.

I have reserved ticket from internet and found that the place is renovating. Many part of the building were behind curtains. If that is the case, they supposed not to sell the ticket with the same price. After that, I went to Casa Mila, which was very good.

I can’t say anything more about Gaudi’s work and prominence in Barcelona that hasn’t already been said. He was a genius of his time and did some extraordinary work - Casa Batlló being one of them. It’s a must see if you’re in Barcelona.

Casa Batlló (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkazə βəˈʎːo]) is a building in the center of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí, and is considered one of his masterpieces. A remodel of a previously built house, it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that. Gaudí's assistants Domènec Sugrañes i Gras, Josep Canaleta and Joan Rubió also contributed to the renovation project. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality.
Like everything Gaudí designed, it is only identifiable as Modernisme or Art Nouveau in the broadest sense. The ground floor, in particular, has unusual tracery, irregular oval windows and flowing sculpted stone work. There are few straight lines, and much of the façade is decorated with a colorful mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles (trencadís). The roof is arched and was likened to the back of a dragon or dinosaur. A common theory about the building is that the rounded feature to the left of centre, terminating at the top in a turret and cross, represents the lance of Saint George (patron saint of Catalonia, Gaudí's home), which has been plunged into the back of the dragon.

The unic problem is the price (28,50 Euros) for come inside to this modernist house constroction by Antonio Gaudí.
This is the taxas you pay for the government. Expensive? But if you have money, is wonderful inside and see how Gaudí beggining make this in 1906.

You can see the windows and watch the people outside like and imagination how people live in this bourgeoisie in Avenue PAsseig de Gracia.

Al most, It is worth checking the types of wood used, the glazing and the tiles, all created with a high quality team.

Barcelona is an outstanding place to visit. There are so many great things to see. If you do make the trip make sure that you do yourself a favor and visit as many places as possible, and be sure to stay for more than a couple days. I recommend a week.

Overpriced tourist spot. €50 for one adult and one college student is a little excessive. Yes, the audio book was free but signage to help you use it during the tour was almost non-existent. Save your money and just look at my pictures!

It's not at all worth visiting this place. It's just a building, looks good from outside n nothing to see there inside. Waste of time n money. Too expensive. It's enough to see Goudi's one masterpiece that it Sagrada familia in Barcelona.

Booked 9:30am tickets to have a look through La Pedrera. Firstly, let me say the process of checking-in is disorganised and difficult for tourists to know where to go/what to do.
The best part was being on the roof. The externals of the building is what makes La Pedrera unique in my opinion.
We opted for the audio guide tour which was not worth it. The video popups around the building are of poor quality (mostly images) and of little educational value.

I would recommend visitors of Barcelona to view this from the outside. Only if you want to see a special view of Barcelona then pay the money to go to the roof of La Pedrera.

Another great work of Gaudi.
It's very impressive to see all the details and imagination of Gaudi, beautifully materialized in this amazing building! Don't forget to see the rooftop and the herringbone windows! No straight lines and I reminded me of the underwater world.

We enjoyed our tour and we bought the ticket online to avoid the line.
