Climbing up the fortress I was stunned with every step I made of the beautiful architecture dating back the Muslim rule of Andalucia. It reminds me of some fairytale about "1001 nights" and "Aladdin". A place worth visiting.

Alcazaba with the roman theater is a perfect place to walk around in February. The weather was amazing with stunning view. They have free audio guide for the people with interest in history and architecture. At the top of this place they have the palace now converted to a museum. Overall takes 2-3 hours to walk around the places.

Stumbled across the entrance on the way to the cathedral. It was free, so we went in. Quite a steep climb & we didn't actually make it to the top, but very interesting & fabulous views. Would recommend

Amazing experience. I went on a solo trip and I had a great time! Better if you bring a selfie stick 😁 I was surprised to see that it was a free entry (I went on a Sunday in January). The weather was just so nice, maybe avoid going during the summer as you will have to walk and climb up to the top.

Visiting the castle was nothing short of enchanting. The grandeur of its towering walls and the rich history embedded in every stone made for a captivating journey through time. The breathtaking panoramic views from the castle grounds were a highlight, offering a glimpse into a bygone era. Impeccably preserved, the castle exudes a sense of mystery and majesty. A truly awe-inspiring experience that transports you to a world of medieval splendor.

This is a fantastic place well managed. It's a fresh place with lots of vegetation, beautiful pieces of building and old stones mixed to modern repairs.

You can cross road with some squirrels here who are not really afraid if you are calm and gentle.

Good photo souvenir.
Vizita de neratat daca esti in Granada. Arhitectura inpresionanta, doua muzee foarte bine amenajate si in plus vizita este gratuita.
Beautiful place with free entrance.
Amazing view outside the palace.
But there are some ticket-needed area.
Ticket reservation -- only offical website.
Recommend to go. 👍👍👍

BE AWARE that the Museum is closed on Mondays!
We didn't know and therefore couldn't visit it, bummer, a real loss.
And...as I wrote in my other reviews, please do bring your ORIGINAL passports with you otherwise you'll be denied the entrance.

Quite nice little museum. Easy climb to the top with nice views. Informative about the Spanish Navy.
Not too much to see here, the large circular patio, a museum and a modern art gallery. The columns and balustrade seem to be made of concrete with large stones in that has then been ground down and polished.

fascinating & interesting attraction. Lots of Spanish navel history. Artefacts are fantastic, the maps are amazing and give a totally different view.

Try to search about Torre del pro before you visit , when you get there everything will be make more sense for you . Basically the torre del oro used to be the place where they used to keep and count the oro ( gold) before they send to the bank . I hear different stories about the torre .

This is a great landmark and the view from the top is fantastic.
There is lots of history surrounding this tower and definitely worth touring the inside and learning about how it came about. It is amazing when the tower was built and what the purpose of it was back in its era.
The palace of Charles V is located in the complex of the magnificent Alhambra.

Another really cool landmark in Sevilla. Definitely worth it, but also not so special. My recommendation is to put this on you walk and walk past it, but its not worth a detour. Very interesting though and read up on its history to fully appreciate.

The Torre del Oro in Seville is a fascinating piece of history. As a visitor, I was captivated by its ancient presence on the riverbank. Imagining its role as a protective gateway to the city's past was intriguing. The name "Tower of Gold" felt magical, reminding me of the shimmering river reflections. Exploring the tower's museum, I learned about Seville's maritime adventures, enriching my understanding of the city's roots. Standing beside the Guadalquivir River, the Torre del Oro felt like a time portal, connecting me to Seville's maritime past and offering a unique perspective on its history.
Escaleras.

Large well preserved fortress with great views of Granada
The structure is interesting. If you are visiting Alhambra, you can spend a few more minutes in this palace.

IMPORTANT: There are quite a few checks for passport and your ticket in this area. Make sure to bring these with you or else they’ll deny you entrance. Would highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance.

If you’re a history buff then you will enjoy this experience more than people that have no idea what’s going on. The audio guides make it very helpful and you learn quite a bit on your journey through the fortress. It took my family about an hour and a bit to see everything in Alcazaba. Bringing a water bottle is highly recommended and going earlier in the days is also advised, so you can avoid the large amount of rush that flows in around noon.

This was a cool little museum with an excellent view from the top area. I wish I would have had more time to look around it was a brief stopover while waiting for a walking tour.

Medieval fortified tower that used to protect the port of Seville. You can tour the inside for a fee of 3 euro. or you can just admire it for free from the outside. Its located along the riverbank walking area and makes for a pretty good landmark.
Magical place 🧡💛❤️

Great views and lovely walk along the castle walls. Not a lot of descriptions about the place unless you have an audio guide but worth it to climb the stairs up the towers.

A building of protection. You will have a great view of Albayzin. It is also a must visit site if you are in Alhambra palace. Don’t miss this when visiting.

Included in the general admission, this tower delivers the best panoramic views of all of Granada. Be prepared to walk and use very steep stairs to enjoy this gem!

You should plan at least 30-40min to come here for the view prior to the Nasrid palace visit. Pretty nice view of Granada city.

The building itself is lovely but overshadowed by others in the Al Hambra complex. There is an interesting museum; a small gallery with mostly early Christian art; and a beautiful tableux of ceramic figures. See the photos.

Alcazaba is another part of Alhambra, also very beautiful. The views were so great and you don't want to leave. You see the whole Granada from the top and also Sierra Nevada mountain. A lot of stairs, but it is worth it and unforgettable.

Beautiful views and fascinating history, as in most places in Alhambra. We enjoyed an evening visit, with less people (no wait to get up to the tower), and no problem getting photos without throngs of tourists - even on the national day. Highly recommend the Alcazaba for its stunning views.
Awesome views, friendly staff
