The server initially was very impatient. Was rushing us not friendly. The electricity kept going off while we were having dinner and the shrimp and clams we had were overcooked over all a big disappointment. We've had some excellent food in the area. I don't understand why so many people have given it such a good rating. I looked around and there was at least one other person eating who turned their food back. With so many other good choices, I would never return here.

Mostly very good. The appetizer was all very good but the seafood paella that everyone wrote about was a bit too salty for me, couldn’t finished..
I want to give this place a higher rating but cannot.
Most of the food was excellent including the seafood and and gazpacho.
The problem is that the two dishes that came of the plancha had a strange and off-putting aroma.
As soon as the chicken, and then the mushrooms we all were wrinkling our noses.
I don't know if the oil was old or maybe there was burned garlic residue but something was off.
We even noticed the aroma from the table next to us had the same aroma from grilled pork.
I will be back to give this a place a second chance as the other dishes were very good.

Great place, great service and, most importantly, awesome food. We got percebes, they were big, full of flavor. Our waitress was really awesome. Recommended for seafood, we will return as soon as we are able!
The food was incredible, we ordered the pulpo and pimientos de padrón. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a seat so I recommend a reservation. In summer it’s pretty hot so be prepared for that.

This was our first time to have dinner here. We were greeted by very friendly staff who provided amazing service to us throughout our time at Arume. The food was delicious and was a good price. We would highly recommend reserving a table for dinner. The duck paella and the beef rib were delicious!!!!
Looked the place up on Google. So we decided to go in for some food before boarding the ship. It was a lovely looking little tavern. The menu looked amazing. However, that is where we hit the first wall - the menus were in Spanish only and with the help of Google Translate we figured out most of the items on the menu. However not a single member of staff could (or to us it felt - was not willing) to offer any help with questions about the menu.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. I came in for a late night dinner without a reservation and was seated right away. The staff all seemed excellent and Brando was super attentive and funny. The duck paella and scallops were amazing, one of the best meals I have had in Barcelona.
This is a MUST when it comes to restaurants in Barcelona. Naomi and Brando are absolutely amazing. We came 2 nights in a row and were greeted with hugs and silly jokes our second night. It felt like we were part of a big family. They even let us take picture behind the bar as we were newly engaged! As big foodies, my fiancé and I were so impressed. This will be a forever home for us when we come back to Barcelona. The food is perfect. The service is beyond amazing. The people are everything you could wish for.
Very delicious seafood! Definitely recommend chipirones (squids) and tarte de queso (cheesecake). The dessert was one of the best desserts that I ever tasted!

the superb food and service made the place a 5 stars in my opinion. the paellas were flavorful, and the beef ribs (wow)!! the octopus was a very unique dish which I also absolutely loved. ultimately, what made the restaurant so great was the staff + the manager - they were so helpful & friendly which made the experience an amazing one for me.

Superb service. With a humble entrance, There is a hidden garden inside the restaurant. The seafood was fresh with affordable price. The waitress helped my children to clean the spider crab shell for take away. Don’t forget to try the chocolate cake, yet again, with humble look but taste unforgettable.
Food was delicious & amazing service throughout. The duck paella was a little too salty, would have opted for less salt instead. Seafood paella stood out and was just right. Beef rib was good too. 25 euros per pax
Superbly cooked food. Scallops and Cod ( Zamburiñas and Bacalao) are probably the best I have ever eaten. Simple food cooked perfectly. A place Jay Rayner would love. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

There are many types of paella you can get in Spain and seafood paella is usually the popular pick, but I would strongly recommend to get their famous duck paella if you are able to visit @arumebarcelona ! It was so delicious I finished every grain of rice!
The decor of the restaurant is warm and cozy, and all the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. I had an awesome time! One of my favorite meals of the trip!

Total nettes Personal, leckeres Essen, keine allzu große Karte. Wir waren direkt zwei Mal dort. Die Muscheln und das Brot waren super, aber auch sonst alles.
Ein Restaurant, in dem Einheimische essen und das spricht bereits für Qualität. Wir haben es zufällig entdeckt, weil wir in einer Mietwohnung um die Ecke wohnten. Wir haben auch über YouTube davon erfahren. Wer hätte gedacht, dass die Perle an einer unauffälligen Stelle sein würde. Wir empfehlen dringend einen Besuch, aber achten Sie auf die Öffnungszeiten, es kann sein, dass es nicht so einfach ist.

Delightful experience that I highly recommend to both locals and visitors. The restaurant offers an impressive array of gluten-free options (they are part of the Malaga celiac association), catering to the needs of those with dietary restrictions without compromising on taste or variety. A standout dish for me was their octopus, which was cooked to perfection, offering a succulent texture and rich flavors that left me wanting more. To accompany the meal, their tinto de verano was above averag. Choose the "con limone" version 😋
Excellent food, the best steak I have eaten in Spain. Perfectly cooked.
A mid week dinner in the winter. And still it was an excellent steak from Galicia. The smokey taste was about as good as it gets from a BBQ. I recommend this restaurant for beef lovers. Even in January on a Thursday evening.
Fuimos a cenar 5 personas. Pedimos especialidad y nos sacaron las croquetas de buey. Estaban espectaculares. Además de eso , pedimos un variado de marisco que estaba increíble, es especial las volandeiras. También pedimos pulpo y finges de pollo, todo riquísimo. Por último nos trajeron una picaña; pocas veces hemos probado una tan buena.
Los postres eran muy originales y destacamos la tarta de queso y maracuyá.
La atención fue excelente y el ambiente del local es increíble. Una experiencia más que recomendable para los amantes de la música y de la comida de calidad.

Loved this restaurant! Authentic atmosphere, service and the food was amazing. We started with croquettes and tomato bread and had the seafood Paella- delicious! Great value and super tasty! Would highly recommend!
Hard do get better then this. Super fresh, delicious and properly prepared seafood plate with several delicious species. Super friendly staff, allways taking care of us at all times. The price is fair, you should give it a tey if you come to Vigo. Its at the old city center, 1 street away from the marina. Tottaly worth the try, you'll love it as much as I did.

The pulpo gallego was out of this world. The waitress was friendly and talked us through the menu. The mussels were all fresh and delicious. The bread was lical sour dough bread, absolutely heavenly. Thank you for a great night.
What a terrific find in Vigo! This is truly fine and elegant dining but at a very reasonable price. Service and atmosphere was relaxed, which I always appreciate.
Amazing seafood! The clientele are very local which is why I was intrigued to try it and was not disappointed. The server speaks perfect English and the house wine is good.
A quiet restaurant away from many others, but happened to be right next to our apartment block, which was handy one evening during a storm.
The food is freshly cooked (there's a chef in the front garden with the grill!) and the quality of meat is excellent.
We had the entrecote or lamb shoulder and both were cooked exactly as requested. They came with vegetable sides of a potato dish that reminded me of bubble and squeak - very tasty.
Dessert choices were tiramisu, cheesecake or almond tart. We chose the latter two. Both homemade. Both delicious.
Prices of dishes are a little higher than some alternative restaurants, but it's well worth it for the service and quality of food.

Best most succulent Lamb shoulder that I have ever had, and the homemade cheesecake was delicious. Attention to service was fantastic.

Fui a comer con mi pareja en sábado y plenas fiestas de Malpica. A pesar de que tenían mucha gente, comimos genial y super a gusto. El producto es riquísimo y se nota que de buena calidad. Tomamos pulpo, navajas y chipirones. Las raciones son bastante abundantes y muy buenas. Relación calidad-precio es más que recomendable.

The place is paradise for seafood lovers : huge variety of delicious species , very well cooked. We liked so much that came back again next day to try more dishes from menu. Service is very good and kind, not to forget the wine selection. Strongly recommend when in Vigo!

Absolutely fantastic! The food is sincere, scrumptous, pure... Respect to the deep wine enthusiasm of Miguel. He is renowned by the outstanding bodegas as he is a walking encyclopedia of Galician wines !It's one of the best pairing ever! Leave yourselves totally to his hands. You won't regret it!
We went there to have lunch. We had seafood like shrimps, clams, octopus and . The ham croquettes were very good. And the fried fish was delicious as well. The service and price recommendable.
Get here early to get a table 8 pm sharp. Otherwise, you would have to wait. We had muscles, scallops, baby squid, sardines, and fried green peppers, all of which were very fresh, tasty. Must try cheese cake.
A very traditional and amazing restaurant! Very attentive staff (10 out of 10) with reasonably priced delicious food. Stumbled across this place without booking and still got a table almost at a closing time. Once back to Malaga - count us in for another round.

Superp, the best restaurant to be in A Lagoa. Meal delicious service excellent...don't waste your time go straight there. Also rock and roll fans you are there for a treat.
We tried the 1kg ribeye on the bone with a couple sides. For us foreigners this was a super interesting experience where we cooked the seared steak on a hot plate at the table. The quality of meat was fabulous and especially considering the price of it was less than 45 euros this was a steal. One of the most satisfying meals I had in barcelona.

Coming here for dinner was not my original intention. The restaurant that I wanted to go to was out of space and they recommended this address to me. I have to say I didn't imagine the food here would be this good. You must try this octopus dish. I haven't even eaten such delicious octopus anywhere. The service staff is also very enthusiastic and always smiling. If I have a chance to come back Malaga I will definitely come here again.

The best place to have a fine Galician meal in Vigo. High quality delicious seafood, nice and intimate terrace with a fresh sea wind, friendly personnel, excellent wine selection. We ate pulpo (the best I’ve tried ever), almejas, navajas, zamburiñas, empanada and fish. Chocolate cake was a dessert to die for. Definitely a place to recommend.

Outstanding! We dined at Casa Vella for lunch and made our reservations first thing in the morning. Wonderful staff and the food was outstanding. There are oyster shuckers around the restaurants, but not apart of the restaurants, so we ordered a dozen from one of the shuckers to ADD it to our fantastic meal of Pulpo and Paella. At this restaurant the Paella is "wet". In other words, it is more soupy that dry like that of Southern Spain,. Nonetheless, the seafood and service was excellent! Gracias!
Gallican restaurant with delicious food, super friendly waiters, and generally a very cosy and welcoming feeling. We looked up this restaurant because of the food selection and look of the food, as well as the ratings, and we weren't disappointed at all. We had the pulpo a feira (pulpo a la gallega), bacalao a la gallega, and zamburiñas, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. We definitely recommend this restaurant!
This is the only location that we chose to eat at twice. The best empanada mejillones that I have had in Vigo. We also loved the zamburiñas. The staff is warm and welcoming, you can tell that they put a lot of love into their food and the service they provide. I highly recommend this restaurant to get a true taste of Vigo.

Absolutely amazing Galician food, simply but excellently prepared! If you only get one thing i recommend you get the zamburiñas or the tripa, but get as much as possible as everything we tried was to die for! We had a little baby and they made sure we were comfortable and had extra space for a stroller! Thanks guys 👍⭐
Soon good! We turned up without reservation but they were kind enough to arrange a table for both of us with just 30 min waiting time.well worth the wait because the food was good, feels homey and service was prompt (the waiters are very very attentive, the moment you finish one course another will come right away). We started with bone broth on the house (so full of flavour), tried the saquito (this is a bit bland/sweet maybe just wasn't what we were expecting but the bechamel sauce was so good), arroz con marisco mixta (so full of flavour again) and filloas with crema (love it!).
The place is nice. The service is welcoming. They don't speak English a lot but they try to explain things with pictures or hands. They were very helpful. Food amazing and typical from Galicia. I recommend this place.
Hidden gem. Not really visible from outside, the restaurant opens to the rear and offers a nice terrace amidst large oleanders or figs.

Always good down-to-earth Galician cuisine in a 1980'ies rock (music) ambience. Small cosy restaurant with view to the kitchen.

The seafood and fish of this place is probably one of the best one of Spain! If you love seafood you have to eat here and try as many dishes as you can. It's not very cheap but it's totally worth it for the quality of it! The desserts are very good too.
We are on the Camino Portuguese Way and stopped at Vigo. We are so happy to have had dinner here. The service was more than excellent and we felt so happy because everyone was so kind (we did not speak Spanish and could only speak English). The food was excellent and generous. We had the steak, lamb chops and the little dumplings. Definitely a must visit.

We came in for a Ruta de Tapas and really enjoyed it. It was a wonderfully noisy, very Spanish restaurant.

We tried so much food in the city of pescada, but this restaurant is the best one! The service and the food are absolutely amazing! We tried at the first evening Arroz Mixto, so much delicious food for less money! At the second evening we tried Pulpo con clams (forgot the spanish word) as starter and Parrilla de pescada as main dish. The Pulpo was absolutely soft and the taste was perfect, because of the added Garlic and the tasty olive oil. We dipped all of the juice with the fantastic bread of the local bakery away :) The grilled fish plate was also really delicious, with a squeeze of lemon just perfect.
The meal was perfect with the big range of regional wine.
The coffee (with a special ingredient Orujo ;) ) and the desserts are served on cute little plates and cups, handmade, with the inscription Malpica and O Burato, made with lots of love.

Wow, what a treat! The service was phenomenal; our waitress was so patient and friendly as we tried to speak in our broken Spanish (luckily she knew enough English to help us along). The Rice with Monkfish and Scallops (Arroz con Rape y Vieiras) off the specials menu was truly unforgettable. Food portions were more than generous, and the prices so fair. Overall, it was a superb dining experience without any hint of snootiness. We cannot wait to go back!

Fresh shellfish at its best. Still the best after 2 years. Great service, a little noisy outside when a Cruise ship is in but get a table outside if you can. Local beer and wine recommended with the cockles, scallops and octopus.

“Der Galicier“ ist für mich einer DER Geheimtipps in Denia. Ein urgemütliches Tapas-Lokal, in das sich nur wenige Touristen verirren. Diese werden dann aber besonders herzlich empfangen. Leckere Weine und gutes spanisches Essen.
Abends kann es vorkommen, dass auch Kinder und Enkel der Wirtsleute vorbeischauen und dann zusammen ebenfalls im Lokal schmausen. Urgemütlich!
