The server initially was very impatient. Was rushing us not friendly. The electricity kept going off while we were having dinner and the shrimp and clams we had were overcooked over all a big disappointment. We've had some excellent food in the area. I don't understand why so many people have given it such a good rating. I looked around and there was at least one other person eating who turned their food back. With so many other good choices, I would never return here.

Incredibly fresh and well made seafood
Very nice staff

The food was incredible, we ordered the pulpo and pimientos de padrón. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a seat so I recommend a reservation. In summer it’s pretty hot so be prepared for that.

Looked the place up on Google. So we decided to go in for some food before boarding the ship. It was a lovely looking little tavern. The menu looked amazing. However, that is where we hit the first wall - the menus were in Spanish only and with the help of Google Translate we figured out most of the items on the menu. However not a single member of staff could (or to us it felt - was not willing) to offer any help with questions about the menu.
Food started to come out fairly quick & it was absolutely delicious.
Shortly after however, more table got occupied & after long wait we started to worry. People who came in later than we did, kept their food brought out like a clockwork. Our food was nowhere to be seen. We had to tell the waiter 3 times that we have to get back onto the cruise ship before we finally got heard.
I thought long & hard about writing this review - on one hand, the food was stunning. However, it was hard not to notice the ignorance in the service.

Very delicious seafood! Definitely recommend chipirones (squids) and tarte de queso (cheesecake). The dessert was one of the best desserts that I ever tasted!
It is a small place, reservation recommended.

Def a must visit eatery in Vigo! Do come early before they open at 8 or make reservation to avoid long wait time!
I went there as a single traveler and had to go back twice so I can try more food.
Jordan, the male staff speaks good English and was really friendly. The scallop, the octopus, and fried Sardine were amazing! The scallop, in particular was so fresh and flavour was on point!
They charged for bread (EUR1.7) so opt out and let them know if you don’t need one so you can have more space for food.
The only item I found slightly off was Padron pepper which is too bitter vs. what i have elsewhere throughout the trip.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is sincere, scrumptous, pure... Respect to the deep wine enthusiasm of Miguel. He is renowned by the outstanding bodegas as he is a walking encyclopedia of Galician wines !It's one of the best pairing ever! Leave yourselves totally to his hands. You won't regret it!
