Loved the location and selection of art at the time.

Amazing place ❤️❤️❤️ a must if you ask me
I visited my favorite artist temporary exhibition.
And the place is amazing
An excellent art museum. Very interesting selection of modern art many from artists I'd not heard of. Very well curated. Some great modern ceramics too as well as many sculptures from Rodin. Also nice and cool on a hot day with a lovely garden.

CLOSED from 02-Oct-23 to "spring" 2024!!!
I love this museum, specifically the collections of statues and impressionist paintings! Ceramics and other items are great as well. I visited it several times, never had any problems with queue (less than 5-10 minutes), but nowadays maybe better to book in advance. The cafe is decent and the shop is nice as well.
Foncez !!!

Great museum! I always visit it whenever I come to Paris.
Apart from the exhibitions, explore the romantic history between Claudel and Rodin.
Museum’s garden is magnificent and peaceful! Such a relaxing place to sit and ponder while enjoying a glass of wine surrounded by Rodin’s aura

Tolle Ausstellung.

Rodin was tre prolific.
Never realized just how many gone arts he was into.
The original thinker is here and it's magnificent..
Two floors of eye-popping art.
And the building is one he lived in while producing some of his be works.
This is a must stop when in Paris.
It has a great collection. You need 2 to 3 hours to visit all of it.
Unfortunately, the audio guide was enabled only for a few pieces. On top of that, there wasn't much English explanation next to the art pieces.

We loved it! Sculpture Garden was spectacular. Van Goghs and other artists were a nice bonus. Wasn't crowded, grounds and estate were beautiful. Lovely place to take a break from the bustle and crowds of the city

Peaceful spaced out Rodin museum. Buying tickets on site was straightforward, €13 per person. The garden was beautiful, but the statues weren't well maintained, leftover rain in some cavities and a lot of spider webs. The marble collection was in an inaccessible room and better preserved I suppose.

The interior collection was very interesting, but the building doesn't have AC and they had left scattered fans in some of the rooms. In late September, it was starting to get unbearable after an hour spent inside, I can't imagine how warm it would be visiting the museum in July or August. Overall a must-visit for art appreciaters.
Lovely atmosphere
The main idea I had is that the museum deserves greater laud. It has 3 main cathegories: paintings, sculptures, and fine art, I can say goods. It's not too big, not too hard to understand the idea, and with important historical periods and art directions. This is the museum for different "grades" of observing and enjoing. You know...I would like to come again, so you should come too, and ✔️ your first time.

Some of the most inspiring exhibitions are at Galerie Perrotin. The Daniel Arsham exhibition is amazing

Beautiful grounds to stroll around, especially earlier in the morning when there is less people. There is a lot of artwork to see in the house as well. I think I spent about an hour inside and an hour outside. I took my time reading the descriptions for all the statues outdoors. It was nice to see a yoga class going on in the back of the garden as well, something to look into next time I’m in Paris.
Beautiful museum and home of the famous Perseus vs. Medusa statue. In this interpretation Perseus is right about to behead Medusa, and you can see the pain and horror in her eyes. In contrast, Perseus appears focused and committed in finishing the task, and there is no sense of remorse. Compare this statue to the one in Florence where Perseus has already beheaded Medusa and is raising her head in victory.
This was Rodin's home in the Meudon "country side".

Gorgeous museum. It was raining on the day we went and very humid. The staff had placed fans around the property to stir the air. This was wonderful and very much appreciated. The museum is incredible, as well as the grounds. The gift shop was a bit overpriced on clothing, which was disappointing. The museum and property were both well managed overall.
Nice.

Highly recommend to visit this place when in Paris.
I was thoroughly impressed by how much impressive work Rodin has competed. The
Museum did such a good job displaying different medium of work through out. It was super nice to have such a huge garden display as well.
It was really nice to be able to get the ticket with open date. Super helpful to come here spontaneously without having to worry having to go on a specified date.
Excellent museum, it ranges from older paintings to more modern stuff, excellent sculptures and other interesting history, including coins, an Oman exhibition and some vintage furniture. All very interesting!

One of my favorite museums in Paris. The garden is a gorgeous place to relax before or after visiting the museum, and the exhibition is amazing! Unfortunately, a good chunk of the garden was under construction when I visited, but it did not take much away from the experience. One thing I did mind was that it was sweltering inside the museum, which made me uncomfortable enough to rush through much of the exhibit. A few more fans or some sort of air conditioning would be great.
A huge museum with really beautiful art pieces and some good interesting brochures to get u organized. I loved the fact that there was no need for booking in advance and still, no people was waiting in line and inside it wasn't crowded at all so u could admire the art at your own pace with quality.
I knew that the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon offered the largest art collection outside of Paris. And yet I seriously underestimated the length of the tour through the halls of this beautiful 17th century abbey. The ticket price alone would justify the walk around the amazing building. It's good to know that access to the heavenly inner garden is completely free. The museum is literally in the heart of the city. Next to it is the Bartholdi Fountain and Lyon City Hall.

My friend was disappointed by the lack of world-famous masterpieces. I, on the other hand, happily went through the cultural history of five millennia. I paid particular attention to the works of Rubens, Rembrandt, Rodin, Gauguin and van Gogh.

The Museum of Fine Arts met me with artifacts from every single major civilization from antiquity to the present day. This is probably the most valuable jewel in Lyon.
This was Rodin's home in the Meudon "country side". Now a small and largely unknown museum housing his plaster models along with some of his best known sculptures set in the garden.
Nice small venue with some plaster casts including « the gates of hell ». Surrounding area to sit. Free entry.
Many times I would rush to the Louvre and like most was awestruck by the art and sculptures. It did not occur to me to walk around the grounds outside the main building. Not only was it breathtaking but there is no charge and very little crowds. If you have not seen this take a little extra time. It is really worth seeing and gives a whole new perspective.

So underrated and interesting. Has history of the construction that you don’t get to delve into at other museums.

A wonderful location full of art in a desastrous condition. This place needs a thorough remake. The soaking wet walls will not only harm the plaster objects. A shame for the Meuton village as well as Paris and the foundation in charge.

My favourite gallery in Paris. Just another level!
One of the greatest international museums here displays the greatest international artifacts and the greatest artistic paintings that something very beautiful in terms of aesthetics and the location of the museum is distinctive in addition to the style of the very sophisticated staff. As for the interior, on the design side, it is something very imaginative and very beautiful. Coordination and sequencing I advise every visitor to visit this place, the great and beautiful edifice 🤗🌟

Great place to visit. Beautiful sculptures. The children loved the garden. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and the entrance was free. Is not so big but a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon :)
Really nice museum with authentic feel. You can walk around it within 30 min, but can spend an hour looking at the exhibits and reading the stories from Rodin's life. And it is free! Great place to spend an afternoon!
Great calm and cosy place with nice Rodin exhibition - recommended for all art lovers!

A colonnade entrance that leads towards the Louvre.
Front area under construction, impressive structure and architecture.
Don't miss this!
This is a really lovely building which leads you to the Louvre museum. A nice spot to see when you are visiting.
A stunning building, a real testament to France's history. You get a real sense of the grandeur of French society centuries ago.
You can walk through to the Louvre and les arts decoratif museum.
