One day wasn’t enough time for me. I know I missed some things, but it was worth every minute of the 6 hours I spent there. I had no idea the site was a defensive fortress at one point and then later converted to the museum it is today.

It will be busy, just accept that fact. The Mona Lisa is always interesting to see, but you have to get a bit physical to get close enough. Otherwise, you’ll just have to zoom in with your phone/camera and enjoy it from afar.

Hands down the most sculptures I have seen in one museum. Not as many paintings as I expected, but I’m pretty sure I got lost and missed a good portion of the museum.

It’s definitely worth the €17. Probably the most value for my dollar in terms of seeing what I like and some really interesting finds like the 3rd oldest celestial globe in existence. Don’t forget to look up either. There are some beautiful paintings on some of the ceilings.

One thing to note is that a fair majority of the exhibits are in French only. There are audio tours available, which I am sure offered translations, but I was a bit surprised there weren’t more translations to English given the likelihood of a large number of English speaking (even if it’s not their primary language) visitors.

Great museum! I always visit it whenever I come to Paris.
Apart from the exhibitions, explore the romantic history between Claudel and Rodin.
Museum’s garden is magnificent and peaceful! Such a relaxing place to sit and ponder while enjoying a glass of wine surrounded by Rodin’s aura

My favorite museum so far. The entrance is very well organized and has so many things to see that you need a whole day to see it all and understand all of it.

I recommend taking a tour guide or the audio guide for a better experience

Rodin was tre prolific.
Never realized just how many gone arts he was into.
The original thinker is here and it's magnificent..
Two floors of eye-popping art.
And the building is one he lived in while producing some of his be works.
This is a must stop when in Paris.

We loved it! Sculpture Garden was spectacular. Van Goghs and other artists were a nice bonus. Wasn't crowded, grounds and estate were beautiful. Lovely place to take a break from the bustle and crowds of the city

Peaceful spaced out Rodin museum. Buying tickets on site was straightforward, €13 per person. The garden was beautiful, but the statues weren't well maintained, leftover rain in some cavities and a lot of spider webs. The marble collection was in an inaccessible room and better preserved I suppose.

The interior collection was very interesting, but the building doesn't have AC and they had left scattered fans in some of the rooms. In late September, it was starting to get unbearable after an hour spent inside, I can't imagine how warm it would be visiting the museum in July or August. Overall a must-visit for art appreciaters.

It was busy entering the museum but the line was also moving pretty fast and we didn’t expect anything else. But definitely book your ticket online beforehand!

The Mona Lisa is super crowded but the rest of the museum is very do-able in terms of people. Beautiful art in a beautiful building. You could spend the entire day there and still not see everything, so take your time to visit the Louvre. Must see in Paris!

We purchased our tickets in advance and for a specific time, so the wait time to get in was about 30 minutes. I don’t know how long it would have taken if we hadn’t purchased tickets in advance, but the ticket lineup was extremely long. Inside the museum was also very busy. There was a lineup to see the Mona Lisa, but that seemed to go fairly quick. There is so much to see in this museum that a one day visit just doesn’t do it justice. I recommend visiting it especially if it’s your first time in Paris.

If the access is a little better, it's a better museum. During the period without exposition, we can visit the building for 4 euros.
Impressive building, whose only purpose seems to be to tell you how impressive it is🤔😂... not sure I totally 'got' it...but was amazed by the architecture...priced really cheap, and that included entry to the Jardin d'Acclimatation ....well worth a visit

Absolutely immense place. A lot of walking and a lot of stairs. The Mona Lisa is very busy, so take an early tour and go directly to the room, or you'll never be able to get near it.

Really liked this museum. Recommend starting fr the top and going down. The best pieces were up top. It was an Impressionism filled exhibit. Really thoughtful pieces important in the context of french history and art. The cafes were cute as well. We stopped at the one on the second floor since the one on the fifth floor seemed super packed. Recommend getting museum pass for it.
Excellent museum. I think highlights were the building and views. Made it feel like a science museum, yet there’s incredible contemporary art inside. This place was a little more lax with reservations. I didn’t go in with my assigned timing and they were super casual. The terraces outside are covered and provide a spectacular view of the city. My fave was that you could just sit there and catch your breathe and relax before moving on to other pieces.

Great Museum. We visited this museum on 1st Sep 2023, during our visit to Paris. This museum is amazing to watch. It has prismatic structure, which makes it more beautiful. When we went there was a long queue. You need a full day to cover in and out of this museum.
Huge Art museum for modern art!
I recommend you book your tickets in advance to skip the line. Definitely go see it if you’re into art history!
But keep in mind it’ll take much more than a day if you’d really want to see it all.

Nice museum with 2 floors of permanent collections. It's free if you're under 25 and there is a nice rooftop terrace with a great view of the eifel tower. One of my favourite museums and a definite recommendation!

Amazing museum. Interesting and interactive.

1 full day required to visit, so ensure you arrive early. The museum starts getting closed at 17:30.

Tip: start the museum journey from 1st floor, otherwise you won’t be able to cover all the arts. All the arts are interesting but the best ones are located on the first floor.

Audio guide is strongly recommended.
Booking tickets in advance is recommended otherwise waste of time in the queue.

Food court has McDonald and other options.

Parking available - Parks indigo is a great option.

Clearly one of the world's foremost art museums, and not too expensive to visit. Very busy of course, the crowds mostly in the impressionist/post-impressionist galleries. Certainly not so busy in the furniture areas. The main hall, the former station area, is spectacular and worth the visit on its own.
The architecture of the building is really cool and with your ticket you also get access to the jardin d’acclimatation next door. I loved the Warhol x Basquiat exhibition, the amount of artworks were incredible. The museum is accessible for wheelchairs and people with less mobility. There are benches to sit on in some of the galleries but not all. The museum was super busy when I went, I booked a ticket and still had to queue and inside it was hard to see some of the artwork because there were so many people, especially with the guides being done. There is a viewing area on the top floor to enjoy the view. Most information in french and English but not all. The man at the desk was not friendly when I spoke to him (he didn’t speak, just pointed).

Very beautiful museum. Make sure to book your tickets in advance. There is a separate queue for those with and without tickets, so make sure you queue at the right one. There is also a QR code near the entrance for the map which will prove useful. Make sure you know the location of the pieces you want to see to make most of the time, it’s a very big museum!
Great place to spend a few hours in the company of great art. I visited for the Basquiat x Warhol exhibition and had a blast. The building is an example of monumental modern architecture. Not my taste but impressive nevertheless. The rainbow clad hall was an oasis of calmness and a perfect place to relax. Gets very crowded, so book your tickets wisely.

The museum was beautiful and huge. It was very hot inside so be sure to have a fan and buy your tickets in advance . Don’t worry if you can’t get tickets for the day you want because early morning they release new tickets online . We had a tour guide explain things in the museum and it sure helped a lot.

enjoyed d'Orsay more than the Louvre, exhibits are placed in perfect spots to better feel and perceive them. The staff are very friendly (from thousands of questions) and eager to assist as needed. Overall very tranquil environment, (for some reason it was not too crowded during our visit), a decent amount of exhibits and easy to navigate throughout the floors/rooms.

fantastic center and fantastic Art! recommended by a friend, we had to check it out. Because of my disability, I had free access to all the exhibitions (free companion ticket if needed). The rainbow exhibition (August 2023) was stunning and just amazing. They center is quite big, so you need to bring a little bit of time if you want to explore everything. I can highly recommend the view from above! Thank you very much for being very kind and inspiring!

We had une bonne visite, but the art is slightly too modern and abstract for my taste. Don’t get me wrong, the amount of art is hugely impressive and there are some really good exhibits. Definitely worth a visit if you are into modern art.

Beautiful grounds to stroll around, especially earlier in the morning when there is less people. There is a lot of artwork to see in the house as well. I think I spent about an hour inside and an hour outside. I took my time reading the descriptions for all the statues outdoors. It was nice to see a yoga class going on in the back of the garden as well, something to look into next time I’m in Paris.
I enjoyed visiting this museum. It was interesting and offered a code variety of modern art. The building was beautiful, the space well organized and it was really easy to access.

Entrance was free and there was no wait. The area outside is stunning (and turns into a makeshift skate park). The museum also has a lovely bookstore where you can buy art books and postcards etc.

Amazing museum containing Picasso, Matisse and other great masters. Plan on 2+ hours to dedicate to see these impressive works. The building itself is quite impressive and used by modeling agencies.
Everything in the museum is beautiful and interesting. Starting with the building where it is located, its architecture as a former train station adds magic to your visit. The artworks inside are simply breathtaking and quite varied in technique, style and representation.

The only downside is that the audio guide you can rent is quite limited, works for very few artworks and its translations for Spanish are not that accurate.

Purchase tickets in advance from the museum website and you get a dedicated queue to enter, which is practically empty compared to the other queue.
Magnifiques photos,

Exploring Musée d'Orsay on the first Sunday of the month was a fantastic decision. Not only did we get to experience the museum's world-class collection, but the added bonus of free entrance made the visit even more memorable. The usual entry fee being waived on this day is a thoughtful gesture that allows art enthusiasts and curious minds alike to immerse themselves in the museum's offerings.

From the moment we stepped into the grandeur of the building, we were captivated by the architectural beauty that seamlessly blends history with art. The natural light filtering through the iconic clock windows added a touch of enchantment to the entire experience. The layout of the museum is well-planned, allowing us to navigate through the different sections with ease.

The vast array of artworks, especially the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, left us in awe. Standing face-to-face with iconic paintings and sculptures that we had only seen in books was an exhilarating feeling. The informative plaques beside each exhibit provided valuable insights into the artist's life and creative process, enhancing our understanding and appreciation.

The staff at Musée d'Orsay deserves special mention for their warmth and knowledge. They were more than happy to answer our questions and engage in discussions about the art pieces, making the visit even more enriching.

Visiting the Musée d'Orsay on the first Sunday of the month was not only a smart way to save on entrance fees but also an opportunity to connect with art and history on a deeper level. This initiative reflects the museum's commitment to making art accessible to all, and we left with a renewed sense of appreciation for the artistic wonders housed within its walls.

Actually, no need to review for this unique and beautiful place as it one of the must to see in Paris. You need to see this place even if you aren’t interested in history or culture as it takes you to three thousand years ago. I really enjoyed my five hours visit and definitely will return to spend more time and know about many history and culture around the globe.

Thanks
One of my favorite museums! I recommend this absolutely! Discovered Charlotte Rampling’s exposition this year! Amazing! Monsieur Bleu restaurant is great too. The Matisse rooms are AWEsome!!! Love the skaterboy vibe outside the museum too!
Petit musée très sympathique et c'est complètement gratuit pour faire la visite.
I went there on a rainy day and it was really late so I didn't have the time to check everything out. But the spirit of electricity exhibition was amazing. they had an interactive guide which went through all the different elements of this massive work of art. It's (allegedly) the biggest painting in the world, only the paint used is half a ton! Would recommend a visit for the whole family.

Gorgeous museum. It was raining on the day we went and very humid. The staff had placed fans around the property to stir the air. This was wonderful and very much appreciated. The museum is incredible, as well as the grounds. The gift shop was a bit overpriced on clothing, which was disappointing. The museum and property were both well managed overall.

Highly recommend to visit this place when in Paris.
I was thoroughly impressed by how much impressive work Rodin has competed. The
Museum did such a good job displaying different medium of work through out. It was super nice to have such a huge garden display as well.
It was really nice to be able to get the ticket with open date. Super helpful to come here spontaneously without having to worry having to go on a specified date.
The museum of modern art has an exceptional collection of 15.000 works of art. Some of the most iconic paintings by Delaunay, Matisse, Modigliani, Leger, Dufy, and more .
Beautifully displayed, it covers the period from the beginning of theXX th century to our the present time .
After enjoying the visit we went for lunch to M Bleu, the food was delicious, creative and original. And the place is one of the most pleasant in the city, on the river and in front of the Eiffel tower .

This is a great museum. So many great paintings to see. If you’re an impressionism fan, you must visit this place. Monet, Degas’s ballerinas, Cezanne, Renoir - all here.
It’s probably better to visit in the morning. It gets very crowded and it’s hard to enjoy all the wonderful pieces.
Definitely recommend getting a ticket in advance, with a time-slot, if possible.
I’m not sure you can book a time-slot with a Museum Pass (I couldn’t so I had to wait in a longer queue), but that queue has a shorter waiting time.
This museum of modern art is fantastic. It houses well known artists work, over several levels. The building itself is a work of art, with amazing views across Paris. There are a couple of shops and a café. I would like to come back soon.
The building itself is intriguing and the view from the terrace lovely. I'm not a big fan of modern art, but found the Warhol x Basquiat exhibition quite interesting. You can download the app that containes a free audioguide, which really helped understand the meaning behind some of the works, but it's a shame that only selected paintings were talked about.

I mean what can you say? It's the Louvre. Houses the most famous pieces of art in the world. Obviously worth a visit! It's huge. This was my second trip here and this time I focused on the galleries I didn't get to see last time, a few years ago. It takes a little while to understand the map. I kept getting lost at first. The artwork is clearly identified in French and English. There are bathrooms scattered about. Lots of people. Definitely buy tickets in advance.

* This museum is housed in a former art deco railway station.
* The main exhibition hall is located in the terminal platforms and has a stunning decorated ceiling and outsize clock.
* The museum has a brilliant decorative arts displays of furniture and interiors.
* The main attraction is the huge collection of French painting from around the Impressionist period. Monet, Manet, Renoir, Van Gogh have dedicated rooms.
* The restaurant serves light main meals in what looks like an ex-ballroom.

Installed in a former art deco railway station, this museum is worth a visit as much for the building as its contents. The main exhibition hall is renovated from the terminal platforms, keeping its stunning decorated ceiling and outsize clock. The museum has brilliant decorative arts displays of furniture and interiors. But its main attraction is the huge collection of French painting from around the Impressionist period. For a treat, try the sumptuous restaurant serving light main meals in what looks like an ex-ballroom!

One of my favorite museums in Paris. The garden is a gorgeous place to relax before or after visiting the museum, and the exhibition is amazing! Unfortunately, a good chunk of the garden was under construction when I visited, but it did not take much away from the experience. One thing I did mind was that it was sweltering inside the museum, which made me uncomfortable enough to rush through much of the exhibit. A few more fans or some sort of air conditioning would be great.
Ce lieu, en plein Toulon, offre toujours de superbes expositions dans un cadre intimiste.
Entrée libre et gratuite.

I was overwhelmed by the colorful art party in Pompidou (literally). The vibrant colors and huge works of art took my breath away. It took me at least more than 3 hours in there (that's why I move pretty quickly). So you need to arrive at least 4 hours before closing time.
Book your tickets in advance (although you'll still have to wait) but there's less of a wait if it's not the weekend.
They have a restaurant - cafe - library and bookstore inside the museum (you can go there for free because the museum entrance is on the top floor and only when entering the attraction you need to check the ticket They will be closing for a few years soon for renovation and renovation of the museum so it is highly recommended that everyone visit Europe's largest Contemporary and Modern Museum before it's too late.
The Pompidou Centre in Paris is an architectural marvel and a treasure trove of contemporary art and cultural experiences. From its unique exterior to the captivating exhibitions housed within, this iconic institution offers a vibrant and immersive journey into the world of modern art. My visit to the Pompidou Centre was nothing short of awe-inspiring, and I highly recommend it to art enthusiasts, culture lovers, and curious visitors alike.
If you like modern art, you’ll love this place. Their modern and contemporary arts collections were exceptional and captivating. The architecture was a cool addition, but wasn’t too remarkable. The view from the 5 and 6 floors was great and one of the best in Paris. Tickets were free for me

Such a beautiful place with insightful exhibitions. The foundation always promotes new outlooks and perspectives on artists’ work, offering guided tours to delve even further in the motivations and meaning behind the pieces.
The Foundation itself is a beautiful building with a stunning view on the defense and on paris, a must see!!
I would advise to get your tickets in advance and be there on time- being early won’t allow you to enter the foundation before the time on your ticket but you will be first in the line!
Interesting space, less brute than the sister museum Palais de Tokyo. Their permanent collection is very very good, and on top of that entrance is free. Add to that nice/discrete staff. Totally worth visiting.
What an incredible space. Very easy to find. Signposted directly from the Metro and less than an 10 minute walk to the Foundation.
Bought tickets at the ticket office and very easy to entry.
The usual X-Ray machines at the entrance as with almost every public building in Paris now.
The space is absolutely stunning and MASSIVE. Unfortunately ALL of the up escalators were out of order on the day we visited, though those running down were all functioning perfectly.

A completely inspiring and exhausting visit!!
This free (mostly) gallery is close to the Eiffel Tower. It was cool and spacious. There are some beautiful things here. It is not a huge collection but I liked discovering what they have.

My visit was more stressful than it needed to be as I was told to leave my (small, handbag) backpack in the cloakroom. It had been searched on entry - all bags are - so I do not see why this was needed. The rooms are huge. It was very difficult to carry all my valuables in my hands as I walked round. I could easily have just removed it from my back and I saw other people with similar sized bags allowed in. This may sound like a minor problem but it coloured the experience in a bad way.
I enjoyed my time here, the place was not crowded and I could enjoy the artworks without a busy crowd 💯 Free to enter, except for the exhibit. You can buy a ticket ahead as well in Get Your Guide if you wanna visit an exhibit.
Interesting building with amazing views.
Staff are friendly and very professional.
From a non-artist perspective, the galleries inside seemed boring, however, the group I was with were mainly architects whom really enjoyed the exhibitions.
All in all, if you don't come from an artistic background, don't go, you'll be disappointed.

We only visited the restaurant on the top floor because we have been in the art section before. The nice thing is you can go all the way to the top and to the restaurant without paying any entrance fee. It's fun to ride the escalators on the outside of the building. The restaurant is very elegant and upscale with appropriately upscale prices. But the presentation of the food is very nice and of course the view spectacular.
Fue sorprendente ver tantas obras famosas en persona.
I really liked the museum, it was interesting to look at the history of the creation of perfumery. I recommend everyone who will read my review to visit this museum. I hope you also like the Perfume Museum in Grasse. Have a nice day, everyone. 🙂
Bellissima esperienza..
Small but very nice. Yhe gardens are wonderful
Un petit musée gratuit sur Toulon exposant de belles photos. Des expositions variées qui tournant tout au long de l’année… J’aime y découvrir l’œil du photographe et apposer mes impressions dans le livre d’or…
Summer days the outer stairs are hot and airless. Feels like a rat cage. The exhibition rooms are airconditioned. The top view is stunning: you can see all the major landmarks of Paris.
Absolutely beautiful gardens. A little corner of tranquility in Grasse. Beautiful flowers, birdsong and fantastic views. Not too busy either. I spent over an hour sitting and admiring the peaceful gardens. It’s well worth the visit.
Loved the pink umbrellas and the roses. There was a show when I got and the artists danced amazingly and the singer had amazing voice. I am so glad I went there that Sunday. It was a nice surprise. At the end of the visit I received a small recipient with a perfume I created with 3 scents. It was very very nice. A sunny, wonderful Sunday.
Lovely Museum, one of my personal favourites in Paris. Great for anyone who’s in love with modern art. Even if you are not, the vast collection will surely provide with great insights in the world of art in the past century more generally. Moreover, love the architecture of the place and the shop with all its great gadgets and piece of interior design.
I went just to see Monet, and loved the whole thing. Je suis allé juste voir Monet et j'ai tout aimé.

Musée extraordinaire, c'est mon préféré. Il est beau, les œuvres sont magnifique. Je suis ultra fan
Nice 30 min tour provides basics description of parfumes making, Fragonard family business history and at the end sales of their products. If you enter bldg from upper level there os small exibition/museum and on the lower one can visit production part.
Prices are different depending on large variety of items but staff is very polite and let customers choose their fav smells without rush.
Parking is free for the tour and security guard was present at all times. Considering Grass old town run down looks that is big plus.
You can get 10% off by picking advertisment pamphlet at tourist office first.
Consistently interesting photography shows.
Fragonard is a great experience, the visit was really interesting and you discover at the end amazing smells
