Clownfish have been my relied upon supplier for very many events over very many years! The service is impeccable - they are always friendly, reliable, efficient and great fun to work with. As an event manager, it's so important to have suppliers that you can count on and not worry about - there are enough other things to worry about - Clownfish tick every box that you would want in a supplier. Love working with them. Every single member of the team, bar none, are a delight!

Had a very enjoyable 1 night stay here. The room was great, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a great shower/bath set up. Free coffee and tea in the room.
Had breakfast in the morning, free with the room. This was very good. Full English and Continental too. The cooked breakfast was all hot and well cooked.
The staff in the hotel were very helpful and approachable. Would definitely stay here again.

We did one night stay 30th October 2023 this hotel is central to the town centre it is a beautiful place to stay the food was very good and the service exemplary, the staff were very welcoming the rooms are so comfortable great size beds we will be visiting again next summer.

We loved working with team Clownfish a few weeks ago. We had the pleasure of using their facilities to do a final rehearsal for our theatre show. Not only did we get the warmest welcome from Matt and Jonny but all the staff members were super friendly, helpful and on hand with any issues we came across. You won't find nicer guys then this.

After 7 different wedding coordinators, last one on the wedding day thankfully the day went great. Unfortunately I made the mistake of paying a bar tab upfront. No one wants to answer my calls or my emails. They owe me over £450 but they just ignore my requests. If I do get hold of them I get empty promises. Would NOT recommend Venue at the liver building to anyone.

Very nice old country house hotel. Very clean and well kept. Rooms of decent size with good facilities decent comfortable beds and good size en suite bathrooms.
Didn't eat there but the smells and appreciative noises coming from the dining room at breakfast seems to indicate good quality.

We booked for a midweek break of two nights in the North wing with breakfast included.What a wonderful experience all round.The views are Beautiful and serene,the bedroom luxurious and overlooking the mere.Breakfast is a pure delight and the service second to none.I can’t recommend this venue enough.

My wife and I stayed at the Birch on Saturday 2nd September whilst visiting old friends in an area where we used to live. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.
Unfortunately our stay was ruined by a drunken wedding party. Noisy children running up and down the hallway outside our room and drunken adults shouting, crying and arguing directly outside the window of our room - no more than six feet from the window until the early hours of Sunday morning. I eventually ran out of patience, having banged on the window and asked for some peace and quiet. I telephoned Reception and the young man on duty went outside and persuaded the very noisy, inconsiderate wedding guests to quieten down and go to their rooms.
A great shame. A lovely weekend ruined by inconsiderate drunken idiots.

Service at reception was good, unfortunately the room was unreasonably hot even with the fan, so didn't really get any sleep, when I turned up for a brief drink at around 10pm before bed no one was at the bar and a table full of who I were assume were staff just stared at me until I decided to give up and try for the aforementioned sleep.

The most amazing wedding venue. We fell in love a few years ago and it was always going to be the place we got married. The gardens, glass house, pavilion, walls, cottages, mere, north wing absolutely everything was immaculate, clean and simply beautiful. All of the members of staff were friendly and professional and engaged in casual conversation too. The service was world class and the food was the best meal we have ever had. The north wing is the nicest place we have ever stayed in and well kept and maintained. Thank you all so much for looking after us on our day, we have not stopped talking about our wedding day and neither have our guests. It was a dream come true. We shall be back to visit again!

Stayed in the North Wing Salamanca suite for our engagement and all I can say is wow!! Fantastic location, amazing place and staff from start to finish were so helpful - but have to give a special mention to Stephan who was just fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, he sorted a taxi within minutes when I’d been trying for a week with no luck. He’s also a fantastic cook and a friendly and gracious host! Can’t recommend this enough and considering what we paid you will not get the same level of luxury or service anywhere else! Will 100% be back and already looking at the wedding packages. Just out of this world!

Highly recommend MB Events. Their Photo Booth is great and props are a real laugh - mix of everything. Our photo album was beautiful and they kept checking in with us as the bride and groom to ensure that everyone was getting the most use out of it.
The phone booth style voice recording was beautifully presented. We haven’t had the recordings yet (due to honeymoon!) but I can’t wait to hear them

Ed and Tracy are amazing!! Sadly my Grandad passed away and they could not be more accommodating on organising a buffet for my family. it was put out lovely, which everyone said how lovely it looked and tasted. The staff who work here in the kitchen should be proud of themselves.

Nice location but a rather conventional wedding venue. Though we attended a very lovely wedding there.

The Birch is a friendly, well appointed and comfortable hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is very good indeed and the bar area well appointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable and car park a decent size. I recommend it.

Wow what can I say!
Izzy, Nick & Patrick where incredible from start to finish. We had been speaking with Izzy for 2 years before our big day and she was always quick to reply to my emails and calls. Izzy was always so friendly, happy and bubbly and kept my crazy mind at ease throughout. On our wedding day Nick and Patrick took over and it was absolutely seamless I couldn't fault them or there service at all. Once again both where incredibly helpful and friendly. The food and service provided from the rest of the team was secound to none in fact so many people commented on how lovely the food was. For the price we paid I feel like The Birch exceed all expectations and if we could do it again we would. I can't thank them enough for how perfect our day/night was it was definitely one to remember thank you!!

The Royal Sussex Regiment Association held a dinner to celebrate the Kings Coronation. We couldn't have chosen a better place to hold it. Izzy, the events manager, was beyond helpful. The manager on the day proved to be so helpful. His knowledge about the presentation was excellent. The Sussex room, the staff, and the food were of the highest standard. Thank you, Birch Hotel. You made two very anxious organisers very happy. Without a doubt, we will have future events there

Combermere Abbey was the wedding perfect venue for us as a couple. We were searching for somewhere that felt private and secluded, but was an open space which brought the outside into the ceremony itself. We married outside in the centre of the fruit maze in a rare spot of brilliant April sunshine, and the backdrop to our wedding was perfect. The staff were extremely attentive, particularly as ours was the first wedding following recent renovations, and this ensured that the day ran extremely smoothly. Amy was on hand for us throughout the day to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and, critically, that we got chance to have some canapes, some drinks, and some much-needed time by ourselves to celebrate becoming Mr & Mrs. We have had lots of our guests comment that they had never been to a wedding quite like ours, and it was made all the more special by having it at such a unique and beautiful wedding venue. We would recommend Combermere Abbey to all engaged couples as a fantastic venue.

We had the most amazing experience with these guys for our wedding. The photo booth was such a hit with all of the wedding guests and we got lots of compliments on the songs that were played. Not to mention the staff were so friendly and always checking in with us to make sure that we were happy with their services. I have had the pleasure of working with Chenai on some photoshoots. Her whole process is so professional and her styling vision is one of the best. I created the wedding stationery for the photoshoot and her guidance and direction produced perfect results. She is truly inspiring.

Where do we start with how amazing Karishma was?! From the start, she was super organised from our meetings to our site visits in Italy, which meant that we were able to meet our vendors and plan accordingly. Despite having to postpone our wedding twice due to Covid -19, Karishma tackled anything that came her way which helped us with the process so much. Her communication with the hotel and the suppliers was second to none, and she was always one step ahead with them.

Throughout the whole destination wedding, everything ran so smoothly and her team are hard working, professional and also discreet! Having Karishma as our planner meant that our parents could fully immerse and enjoy themselves as she took the stress away from them completely, which is every couples' dream.

We stayed in Stone Lodge and this was beautifully presented and well equipped accommodation at the entrance to the estate. It was dog friendly with a secure garden and access to some lovely walks on the estate - one walk even accessing the nearby Old Piggery dog friendly cafe. A wonderful welcome hamper was also provided with lovely local produce. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

My wife had always dreamed of an Indian wedding in a beautiful UK setting (we live in the US, but I am from the UK), but we were struggling to find our perfect venue. We came across Karishma, and right from our first virtual meeting she identified the perfect venue for us. Karishma was knowledgeable and well organized, and put together a detailed plan and schedule for all of our wedding preparation for our destination Tamil wedding.

When we were able to finally meet in person in the UK a few months prior to our wedding, Karishma and her team arranged two days of site visits and vendor meetings, all of which were organized perfectly, allowing us to make the best use of our limited time.

Karishma and her team worked diligently to understand our vision, and helped translate it into a stunning reality. She handled communications with all of our vendors, and knew exactly how to get the most out of them while still remaining within our strict budget. Some vendors even told us that Karishma had been the best planner they have had to pleasure to work with!

Our jaws dropped when we finally got to see the results of months of hard work and dedication that Karishma and her team put into our wedding. We were inundated with positive comments from all of our guests.

Our dearest Karishma honestly became family by the end of the wedding festivities. From the very beginning she surprised us with her organisation and vigour in putting our wedding together, we hadn't even signed on with her and she had planned out what the next 6 or so months would like in regards to planning our events. Karishma and her team not only put on a beautiful Sikh wedding at Gravesend Gurdwara but they also hosted a Reception Dinner at The Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane (the biggest wedding event that the Dorchester has ever had!) Karishma had the tenacity to work with all our suppliers with great ease and liaise with our family members. Our family and friends were taken aback by all the events; the jago, the maiyan, the pre wedding party, the wedding, the post wedding party and the reception. Each event ran so smoothly and if there were issues, we certainly didn't know about it. To imagine having to organise a wedding and a reception to this level would have been a nightmare without Karishma. We truly couldn't have done anything like this without her!

It is always a great pleasure working with Karishma - her passion for weddings and attention to every detail to ensure everyone has the best day is very evident. Karishma has a great network of approved wedding suppliers she works with to ensure that every event is delivered to the highest standard. Creativity and wedding design is one of her key skills but this is equally combined with practicality and logistics so that wedding couples have a stress free time from start to finish.

I contacted Chenai after my wedding had been postponed due to covid. I had lost all enthusiasm in wedding planning and needed support and advice mainly for styling! Chenai was so supportive and created a design board after listening to my ideas and making some beautiful suggestions. I fell in love with planning the wedding again, and felt confident that everything was going to look beautiful without the worry that things may not work the way I had imagined. Had our wedding 10th July 2021. The venue is amazing. The food was excellent for our wedding breakfast well done Relish Liverpool. The staff on the day was so helpful and made our wedding so special. Only criticism was had so many changes to wedding planner but in the end all went well. KRN events decorated our venue and they did such an amazing job, highly recommend. Many thanks to Frank and Kelly for playing an important part of our special day. Photobooth was well run with lots of props and we have a lovely momento of key rings and a guest book with all the photos from the photobooth. All photos were ready to download the next day!

Frank did an excellent job with with disco! He made sure there was a range of music and listened to people's requests. He made sure they were here in time for speeches so we could us the sound system.

At the end of the night Frank sent us off with a tunnel with all our families holding hands. Just brilliant!

My wife and I will be forever grateful for the amazing job Karishma and her team did in planning our dream destination wedding in Portugal. She is incredibly organized, diligent, and hardworking. Planning a destination wedding is a challenge especially when you have no existing relationships in the area. With Karishma's help and guidance, we were able to coordinate so much remotely, which enabled us to limit our pre-wedding visits to 1 action-packed trip (e.g. for food tasting, meeting w/ florists, etc...). I can’t recommend Mark and his entire team highly enough. Our wedding was a two-day event with guests from all over the world, so the planning had to be extremely well organized. Calling it a “logistical nightmare” is a huge understatement! The team made sure the whole thing ran without any complications. It felt absolutely flawless to us and all our guests. Mark is an amazing combination of crazy creative energy with ultimate attention to detail. The event was outrageous, visually stunning and seamlessly executed. Fabulous attraction on the famous mersey water front. A must do for scousers and tourist alike

Loved this 70 minute tour and learned that the Liver Building was the first ever skyscraper in England! The light show was absolutely amazing, emotional and it depicted Liverpool very accurately. The views over the city, waterfront and beyond are fabulous. Makes me so proud to be a Scouser.

Fantastic company, always goes the extra mile and amazing food

Frank provided light up letters and a disco for our wedding on Saturday and the guests had a blast! Frank played songs that our guests had requested and had everyone dancing and singing. He was very good at entertaining our guests and we all had a really fun night. Thank you!

I completed the Niemierko Wedding Academy in January 2017 and overall the experience was exceptional. Mark spends 5 full days one-on-one with his student and ensures that the experience is personalised to their exact needs. I made a number of incredible contacts throughout the week, as well as now having Mark himself as a mentor for my future endeavours.
