I had 4 very special rings made recycling my Nanna's silver charm bracelet. We unfortunately lost Nanna in February so these rings are very sentimental. They are silver hammered bands engraved with Nanna and Mum, I had 1 for myself, my sister, mum and aunty. They are amazing
From conception to collection, I can only praise the service I experienced@ Selina Campbell. I now have an amazing ring with a modern design creating sentimental links to my mother and also incorporating significance to my own sapphire wedding anniversary. I have never previously considered an independent jeweller, let alone a bespoke service, but I would definitely go down this path in the future.
I went to Selina Campbell to find a local jeweller who could resize and old ring from my grandmother. They did a wonderful job not just resizing it but cleaning it as well. The consultation was straightforward, and they were very friendly and helpful!

We used A K A to have my fiancé's engagement ring made smaller, even though it was from the jewellery quarter in Birmingham and not from them they were happy to help us. We were struggling to find anywhere else in Manchester that would look at the Rose Gold ring. The customer service was 10/10, really friendly, helpful and informative. The ring was ready to collect the next day, less than 24 hours later. We will definitely be using them when we need wedding bands and recommending to all of our friends :)

Kiran is a highly creative and commitment goldsmith. I was guided through the thoughtful design process and encouraged to contribute my ideas. The final piece was magnificent and precisely what I was after. A rare and completely worthwhile experience.
I visited on Friday 9th February as I had some work local, and had made an appointment with another ‘shop’ which it turned out didn’t exist - dodged a bullet there and the shop owners spotted it a mile off. I’d already had a look in on a previous trip, and id brought an IWC to trade which they offered me an excellent price for. I traded against a 2021 Submariner, which was offered at a good price, lower than watchfinder and the like, and the fact you can go ‘hands on’ is reassuring. Watch came with all the usual papers and box, but also a reassurance that the shops been around 14 years so there’s bricks and mortar should there be an issue. I’m no expert, but I think they offer good prices, good service and seem legit and genuine. If you’re passing, pop in. You can always go to Goldsmiths if you’re not happy.
Fantastic jeweller, I’ve had several repairs done here. Including replacing a diamond and re-sizing my odd shaped eternity ring, re-sizing my engagement ring, repairing and cleaning my locket. All beautifully done. Very, very pleased.

Came in to what I deem a fairly prestigious retail watch shop on the off chance they'd offer simple repair services as I wanted a watch battery replacing for my mums watch she adores an to have my watch strap replaced my mum got me for Christmas. An to my suprise I was in luck. Not only did they do it there an then pretty much they did me thee best deal price wise for the whole of the city centre shops id gone to. Bought an engagement ring in early December and had Selena guide me through the whole process, taking plenty of time to explain everything and make me feel as comfortable as possible with my new purchase!

I came across A K A Bespoke Jewellers as I needed to get a ring reshaped. From the minute I spoke to Kiran I knew he was the right person for the job. He talked me through my different options and what they could / couldn’t do clearly which I appreciated since I don’t have much experience with this type of thing. On top of that, the job they have done with the ring is excellent and was completed quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Both my partner and I had a great service at Selina Campbell and our wedding rings are wonderful. My partner had his granddads ring altered slightly and that process what easy and explained well. I had 3 heirloom rings that I wanted made into a brand new ring for me to use as a wedding ring. The design appointment was helpful and informative and the process was explained to me. I am very happy with the final product and looking forward to wearing it all the time.
My son Just came in looking for ideas for 21st gifts for us his parents to buy him . He’s called me upset at the fact that 2 members of staff serving him were laughing at how many links he would need taking out of a watch. the owner graham has saved my skin.. i lost a very sentimental gold chain and pendent with it and somebody recommended graham to me. i sent him all the pictures of the chain and the pendent. and within 2 weeks i have it back and it’s like for like… absolutely amazing guy and when i was in there i treated myself to a gold ring. best jewellers in stockport or any i’ve been in… i’m gonna be a very loyal customer now.. thank you again x

Called in today to have a necklace repaired which had snapped,FIrst class service from what I consider a proper jewellers not high street fakes.They laser welded it and even did it whilst I waited which has earmed me a couple of brownie points with my wife as we are away on holiday next week.. Went in at the weekend to get my engagement ring resized. Really good service and ring fits perfectly. They gave advice on creating wedding bands, and a suggested design due to the shape of my engagement ring. We will go back once we have a wedding date to get our wedding bands made, 10/10 would recommend.

Thank you Jordan at Beverbrokes Trafford Centre who recently helped me get a bespoke Oris watch. Very professional service and generally nice guy. After debating purchasing elsewhere online I can honestly say that I'm happy to have paid slightly more knowing I can take my watch in for free for cleaning, at any store (especially handy for bronze watches) plus the warrenty. A big thanks to Oris also for the free strap - a touch of class from a quality manufacturer. I tried to get the watch at other retailers but they couldn't get hold of it. I would certainly buy from Beverbrokes in the future.
Went into the store, which was itself immaculate and very professional, whereupon I was greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff member James who was exceptionally polite.
I wanted to get an antique fob attached to my pocket watch which in this day and age is a somewhat unusual request however James ensured that my request was met and far exceeded. My fob was fitted within minutes and looked exceptional. Would very highly recommend this store for anything watch related as they are fast, professional and charge very fair prices.

Called for a brief bit of information on engravings. The gentleman who answered spend a good half an hour helping me with options. Even gave me advice on learning to engrave myself. All without trying to push a sale. Best customer service I've had... ever!

Avoid this place for taking your scrap gold tried to offer me £100 less than what it was worth & tell me that a few cubic zirconia in 1 earring would way 4 grams lol as if.. went round the corner to James bowe where I was given £70 more than what they offered thats a big difference!! So glad I checked online first the going rate.. The atmosphere in the shop wasn't great either felt cold and uncaring though they was never rude.. think they just seen me come in in my joggers and trainers and thought yh she'll be desperate let's offer her nothing lol glad I went off amd looked around

I can’t recommend this place highly enough for jewellery repairs! I took in a ring that was my grandmothers and we wanted it fixed for my mum for her birthday on a tight schedule. It had a lost diamond and the claws had broken. It was a site for sore eyes but has value in the ring and more importantly sentimental value. I’m just outside of Manchester and asked a few local jewellers but they wouldn’t touch it as they didn’t have the skill or a stone. The last one recommended D&J. Chris took on the job and within 24 hours had got back to me with a price. Once agreed it was about a week and the job was done. Not only fixed but polished and fully restored. I can’t thank Chris enough.

There are always lovely original items at reasonable prices. You are able to view everything without being "hassled " a lovely shop.

Established for over 10yrs now the tayberry gallery offers a nice bright exhibition of contemporary art. The gallery is run by 2 artists and offers classes in jewellery and wood. Well worth popping into if your in the city and appreciate art.

Bought my wedding ring from here, they sent my engagement & wedding rings away to be resized but when they returned they were totally misshaped... Staff were rude & argumentative but eventually agreed to send them away again. This time when they came back the hallmark was missing from my wedding ring!! They said I'd have to pay to have the hallmark put back on the ring, despite there being a hallmark when I bought the ring!!! I ended up getting a refund & having to go looking for another wedding ring 2 weeks before my wedding... I will never buy from them again, the staff had me in tears & I asked for the owner to contact me but was told a week later he'd gone on holiday... Very unprofessional indeed!!!

Had an appointment to visit another chain Jewellers to buy an engagement ring but by chance stumbled on Jenny Jones so popped for a quick browse. Ended up leaving £1600 pounds poorer but with an amazing solitaire on platinum which is absoloutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Fabulous service too as we popped over to San Carlo for a celebration meal while the ring was altered and returned to be greeted by a perfectly fitting ring and complimentary bottle of Champagne. Being a small independent business owner myself I fully appretiated the personal and professional service given by this independent business.
