Would never purchase from here again. Being told that I should not purchase a product because my son is about to be a father for the first time and that he should not be spending money on a console ( by luis) to my pregnant daughter in law being close to tears due to returning the then faulty item and being spoken to like she was dumb. Jamie the store manger likes the sound of his own voice and talks over people and is highly unprofessional. My daughter in law is a lawyer who expressed her rights as a consumer after numerous visits to the store and kept being asked to come back bcz they did not have time to test the product over 2 days and a huge amount of stress miraculously the refund was processed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. WELL DONE GUYS YOU JUST LOST A VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER.

Good store staff were a little un inspired but it’s well stocked and with a 5 star :) o would recommend this shop it was very tidy and lots of things to choose from

Got 2 copies of Fallout 76 from this outlet and found that both codes don't work... Very disappointing as I was only in Manchester for a few days and can't go back to the store to deal with this.

Absolutley disgusted with the service, 2 of the guys there treated me with disrespect as i paid in cash for Ps5. The younger worker tried to give me a ripped £5 note and when i asked to exchange it he showed alot of negative attitude and disrespect. I felt like i was judged based on my ethnicity. Employees like this give bad reputation to the business and get nowhere in life.

I went to the store today to get a Nintendo switch for my son. I met Emilie, one of the staff, I was blown away by a patience, knowledge skills about product, also how she helped me to make right decision for what I wanted and my son would like. Very good customer service .. I left the store with a big smile 😀.

Bought a stack of games to then get home and the most expensive one be empty. Beyond disappointed. Don’t even know how to resolve this, as I live on the other side of the country.
EDIT: In this case it was actually two games. Found another after opening them all.

Really good for children's toys and activities reasonably priced and has got a decent variety

Just been in for the first time. Absolutely love the shop and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Definitely the place to go for your war gaming needs. Gaming nights look great!

Limited due to space on the lower level, high footfall store. General selection of products but is primarily focused on current trends rather than fan favourites. Expect queue times, as the staff structure does run quite lean. Upstairs houses the belong party product. Mid to higher tier gaming set ups which will run latest titles easily making it a positive experience for gamers. The appeal is there for party sessions, but would not be able to comment on the product with great experience. Would suggest shopping for gaming peripherals and or novel gaming gifts.

Great range of toys and good for browsing. Would buy but already purchased Christmas presents already.

I enjoy how quick the staff were in processing my transactions. They have a great variety of toys, ranging from the popular Squishmallows, case in point with the front of the shop and my Wendy frog. To boardgames, and everything in between.

Barry was extremely helpful and friendly showed us everything the shop had to offer and was kind enough to play a round of the game we wanted to purchase to teach us the rules. Couldn't have had better customer service and will be back ASAP. Such a unique shop with a fantastic space for tabletop/ RPG/ wargames at an extremely reasonable price and such a range of things to buy - not just models and minis.

Will not exchange, refund or replace headset bought 5 days ago, that is faulty even though their policy is 28 days as we have removed the outside cellophane from packaging to use it! Very unhelpful store! Very unhelpful Manager refused to give any contact details for head office and said you have to use the chat bot online

Great shop that offers new and second hand items for table top gaming and magic card games. Also have facilities for you to paint and game there. Staff are very friendly, patient and understanding. They also run clubs for all genres of gaming so you can join the community.

Great staff. Really prompt when picking up my click and collect order and they were very helpful and chatty. Would return again.

You don't have to be interested in the games to visit. I wandered in as my daughter was interested in painting advice for a dragon model received for Xmas. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and we ended up sat painting in the shop for a while! It's a very relaxed environment. If you are into the gaming side there is a playing area downstairs which seemed popular on my visits as somewhere you can hang out not just shop.

Picked up my click and collect order. Whilst I was waiting by the till the man serving kept offering me items they had on special that day. He presented it item by item. He knew I was only collecting my previous paid items so doing this was really annoying for me. Other then that it was OK

I can not say enough good things about this place! Staff are so friendly and helpful, they truly care about the customers, especially new comers to the hobby. They pride themselves on giving the customer great value for money, and their stock is excellent. Downstairs they have an awesome games room with an enormous range of great games to get stuck into. I am not local to the area, but will definitely be making a trip back when I’m done painting all the miniatures I bought today.

So I have been coming to the Store since April and have been welcomed by the other local players and staff really well. Knowledgeable and keen to share our collective love of wargaming!

Great set of tables downstairs, so much terrain and choice to play with. The second hand trade in options is also great and have helped fleshed out my 40k armies at a discount. As well as GW lines also being cheaper than going to a branded store.

A couple of negatives that I feel need to be mentioned. One, downstairs does have a damp smell to it, I know it is due to history of flooding but still noticeable.

Two, I wish it was open longer on weekends closing at 4 when the shop is full and turfs gamers out is frustrating sometimes. Same with weekdays if open later I could play after work!

Though I recently learnt thrusday nights is later and Friday has Magic, but this not indicated online.

Finally the third negative, I feel the store is in need of a little bit of TLC, a slap of paint a sort out of some of the stock and displays downstairs can feel like playing in a store room. The toilet also need some TLC if it's going to be used by customers.

I only say these negatives in hopes to improve the store for us all. I have loved playing here and any Wargame locale fan should come and join us all! I shall continue to do so!

Excellent small toy store . Great staff who are genuinely interested in trying to help and discuss products . The lady who helped today had excellent product knowledge on past , present and future products , availability and quality . Always my first call before others . Treat their staff pretty well and wished more shops would follow their Sunday shutdown for family time .

You can usually find what you want here and at a great price. Store is small to compare with other branches, but is well stocked without feeling over crowded. The staff are brilliant too, nothing is too difficult for them and they are very knowledgeable. A great shopping experience!

Staff are great with my son every time, they have little steps up to the counter so they can put their own toys onto the counter and feel part of the transaction. The only thing is I don't go in there much and my Son loves Lego but they don't refresh the range very often it seems, probably not an issue for anyone else but it's just a little niggle.

Nice old school war gaming shop. The owners are really helpful and have a great sense of humor. Playing games in store is encouraged (unlike Games Workshop) with 5-6 play boards upstairs alone and downstairs there is a further 10 or more. I always go down for the X-Wing miniatures game with a friend. Definitely worth going if you are into anything board game or miniature!
