Went there for a Sunday Roast and had the Mellow Yellow Spritz to drink. The Roast Beef was full of flavor. The Mellow Yellow Spritz was refreshing and complemented the meal nicely. The service was lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot worth checking out for a great dining experience!
Consistently good steak, great vibe, staff are friendly and attentive. Very good menu selection. We had the t bone, lobster and bone marrow starter.
The steak was cooked perfectly, perfect amount of fat. The lobster came out quite late - they forgot about the order but we didn't mind but they kindly offered to give it on the house. Amazing service.

Exceptional food and service from the moment we entered Wiltons. Special mention must be made of the bread & butter pudding which was delicious. Highly recommend the trolley menu and will be returning.
On my recent visit to Mussel Inn in Edinburgh on April 23rd, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was still amazing and the service was outstanding.
Shout-out to Ady, our waiter, who suggested a delicious meal for me. He was really friendly and provided attentive service. Over all it made my dining experience even better!

One good option for the meat lovers.
A little bit expensive even for London standards.
We paid £400 for two couples, included two bottles of wine, main course each one and a nice good chocolate desserts.
The tables are so close each other and it’s so noisily. The waitress were pressured us most of the time….to order quickly, to clean the table ….I don’t think this is what you want for a lovely night with friends.

Stumbled across this gem of a restaurant in the heart of liverpool.
Welcomed in by kind and accommodating staff. Started with 6 oysters and Prosecco- the fresh oysters were excellent.
Next my father had the fritto misto - which he thoroughly enjoyed, although he said he could have done without the chips! but he’s weird like that.
I had the cioppino - very filling and great flavour with tonnes of sea food.
Wine was also delicious!
Would definitely come again to try more dishes and would recommend to any fish lovers out on the streets of liverpool!

Was a great place years ago but sadly downhill. The starters are overpriced and tiny portions. We had 2 baskets of bread(tiny rolls) straight from the freezer. They were still cold in side. The mains were better but not enough veg for 4 people (2 tiny dishes ). Total bill £194 inc wine for 4 people eating frozen food. Never again. Service at best was adequate. No water on the table , wine wasn't poured, needed to ask for what I wanted and only 3 tables in.
Sunday roast was exceptional. Very busy, a lot of fun. The Yorkshire puddings were light and the gravy very flavourful.
Starters were really good, main courses so so. Service was really excellent, attentive and very polite. Overall, decent value with the meal deal, and complimentary prawn crackers and spring rolls.

Wiltons, tucked in a little street just off Piccadilly, is a restaurant that you need to visit at least once in your lifetime. It's listed as a seafood restaurant but to me it's more of a British cuisine. The Beef Wellington was simply amazing, the soufflé was done to perfection and the Louis XIII cognac was superlative.

Round corner from our hotel. Visited with 5 friends after reading other reviews. Food was great and service was very attentive and friendly. We turned up without booking and although they were busy sat us on our table within a few minutes. Would definitely recommend a visit
I’ve been living in pimlico for 3years and regret that I didn’t come to this restaurant early🫠 Lamb handi masala is really yummy! Staffs are nice and friendly:)
The food didn't live up to the expectations and prices... To charge over £6 for a tiny bowl of salad and one ring of squid and 3 mussels and call it seafood tapas is disgraceful!!!! And the bowl was chipped!😡 If you aim to be a high end seafood restaurant invest in the decent crockery!

Best meal in Edinburgh!!! All the seafood are fresh and well prepared. Everything is tasty. We likr the hot seafood platter and mussel (natural juice flavor). Highly recommended if you are in town.
Overpriced frozen food. Tiny, and i mean tiny portions. Whitebait was 7 pieces. The red mullet was two teabag size fillets, full of big bones, 3 mussels, a prawn and a shot glass of rice, no clam as advertised. Half the menu missing. Service poor, atmosphere none.

The food overall is great, however, the seafood can better fresher. We can smell some of the clam. The prawn meat is not fresh, we just can tell. Overall it’s not so bad.
My partner and I came here 3 nights ago to celebrate our 6th anniversary, and it ended up being one of the best meals we have ever had. Being huge lovers of steakhouse restaurants, we agreed this is definitely in our top 3!

The restaurant was cold. To be fair it was a cold day but the heating was poor. They were short staffed. The waitress was very caring but had to also help in the kitchen so was not able to be at tables much. The food ( mainly fish menu) was presented nicely but was under seasoned and didn't taste of much.

The food was amazing. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. This was great place to finish off our trip to Brighton. For anyone that loves steaks I would highly recommend checking this place out!! Also the onion rings and meringue pudding was delicious!
Well, yesterday my wife and I flew from Porto to Lisbon to London and thankfully made it in the rain just in time for our 9pm reservation. Everything was as we expected at our favorite London restaurant. I had my favorite smoked eel appetizer, the hake entree, and the pea puree side, that could have been a dessert. My wife had the cerviche appetizer, the plaise entree, and the spinach side. EVERYTHING was delicious, as always. And our female server Barbara was excellent. We eagerly look forward to our next dinners at Wiltons...TOMORROW NIGHT!!!
My husband and I had a lovely dinner yesterday. The steak - Chateaubriand - was perfectly cooked, and the sides - creamed spinach and garlic mushrooms were amazingly harmonised with the steak. Chips were crispy and seasoned well.
The staff for my table was very attentive and professional. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was good enough. The borough branch is a little bit more casual than other branches, but still good to go for a special occasion. Recommend this place!

Been going to Neptune's 35 years and still the best on Stowell street
Initially concerned when we walked in and saw the decor, but we needn’t have been. We had a fantastic meal and our waiter was great. Some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. Will definitely be back.

We went for a meal after visiting the nearby opera house. The staff were very attentive, seeing to our every need. Though it was a Monday night we were well looked after. The options were great and we left full and satisfied.

The food was superb. The service was attentive but not over bearing.
The only thing in my opinion is the decor is looking a bit tired. Example, the table tops have, in their current condition, seen better days. In my opinion there's a little too shabby in the shabby chic look.
However, I came to try your food and very glad I did. It really was excellent and all served with a smile by your friendly staff.

I had dinner in this restaurant after my sister recommended to me because she has been here before and she enjoyed the food.
In my opinion the food is average, not bad but also not unforgettable.
We had mussels pot, oysters, soup of the day and a seafood platter.
- The mussels pot was good but unfortunately I found a hair in it…
- the oysters tasted fresh but were very slims;
- the seafood platter was good, but for 33pounds I was expecting much more…
Not full we decided to take also two desserts which were delicious and pretty big portion.
I didn’t like the fact that they charged us 8+ pounds for the service when on the menu and on the receipt itself is specified that it’s discretionary.
I didn’t want to complain at the moment in front of other people but this is not fair.

The food was absolutely disgusting! You get some raw fish served (not mentioned in the menu that it's not cooked), it costs you £ 110 and it doesn't even come with bread on the side. You literally feel like throwing up!! I've never had such a bad experience at a fish restaurant. Stay away!

Really enjoyed our meal here! Wasn’t sure what to expect as it seemed quite touristy but the food was delicious and the service was was great. Had the vegetable soup to start, seafood pasta for mains, and the sticky date pudding for dessert!
Enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. We had 3 fish dishes Red Mullet, Seabass and Dorada 1 steak. All cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere with nice background music. Staff were lovely and attentive. Would definitely visit again.

This was our first meal in Edinburgh, and we were really craving seafood. This Mussel Inn was our perfect place to dine! We had a great seafood meal, and the service was also superb. Definitely order the mussel pot as it is their specialty here!
Food-wise: we absolutely loved our Mussel Pot, we picked the Natural flavor one as the mussels were very fresh, so cooking it in its own juice already provides sufficient flavor or umami! It was a good portion for the price, and it also comes with a side of bread. If you want more bread, it will be extra cost!
The king scallop appetizers were really good - super fresh and tender, and it was our first time trying out blood sausages (black pudding)! Not bad I have to say, especially with the citrusy sauce that came with it.
Finally, the hot seafood platter was really fresh and flavorful, we were scraping the plate with our bread in the end :) the platter was rather different from what we were expecting - it's not your average seafood stew, but rather a platter with fresh king and queen scallops, tiger prawns and mussels poached in seafood sauce and topped with grilled fillet of sea bass and a chive arme fraiche! We even asked if we can switch out the mussels, and add more of everything else, and the kitchen agreed!
The restaurant was still packed even though we were in the later hours for lunch, the room is bright and cozy, good place for friends gather and dates.
Overall I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends in Edinburgh, especially if they enjoy seafood!

An indulgent treat for us and almost 24hrs later I'm drooling at the memory of the Monkfish Tail Thai Curry with Pak choi and broccoli.
My son had good old fish and chips and his friend settled for the pan fried salmon. I have absolutely zero negatives to say about our food, the service or the atmosphere.
However a brighter light in the ladies would be helpful for touching up makeup 😁

Four of us went to the Coal Shed for lunch last Sunday and we were all really pleased with our orders. We shared the arancini and sourdough (with amazing butter). Two of us shared the amazing Sunday roast - grilled steak with roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and cauliflower cheese. One of the nicest Sunday roasts I’ve ever seen and I liked that it was a massive perfectly grilled steak rather than standard roast beef. I had the burrata followed by the grilled cod. Excellent food and great service… do book in advance though. We managed to reserve the last available table and did see a couple of groups turned away at the door who tried their luck without a ressie.
The crispy spring rolls starter surprised me as they were mini spring rolls. The menu did not suggest that.
The sweet and sour sauce was brought out very early before the spring rolls. When the rolls were brought out I did suggest that there might be a skin on the sauce as it had stood for a while. It hadn't but it was cold by the time I finished the rolls.
The main course (king prawns with green peppers and black bean sauce along with egg fried rice) was fine but the prawns had a fork and spoon in them. The handles would have been sticky and would have made my hands the same.
I did point out both issues at the restaurant.
The apple juice was a very acceptable alternative to the tomato juice which I asked about but which they didn't have.
I did notice that people on two nearby tables had to ask for drinks they had ordered some time earlier.
A nice touch, late on, was that a server said she'd bring me a hot towel for my hands. She did and it saved me a trek to the toilets to wash my sticky hands.

Dressed crab, flaky and sweet, comes with a fan of ripe green avocado. Delicately flavoured Lincolnshire eel, rosy pink around the edge and fading to pale cream within, might be at the Silk Cut end of the smokiness spectrum but the accompanying horseradish will blow your head off. Dover sole is sautéed to a platonic ideal of golden brown and the butter melted to the limpid yellow of young Sauternes.
Our third visit here and still as good as ever. Friendly service from the moment we arrived with drinks and food arriving quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Seafood chowder starters followed by pan fried salmon and sea bass main courses. Both excellent. I would recommend booking online as this place is very popular with tourists. 5*
It all started so well. Welcomed by polite staff. Seated before time. A good list of specials. We shared 6 oysters with Prosecco, perfectly fresh and not too big, followed by tuna tartar, again fresh and nicely flavoured. Then the mains, I had tagliatelle with prawns, the pasta was overdone and all stuck together, prawns were delicious though. My partner had the special Red Snapper risotto. The fish was actually slightly burnt, and the risotto was overdone. There were also some very chewy strips of squid, not really edible. The sauce flavour was too bitter. Sides of Samphire, too soft and overdone, and fries slightly shrivelled. I think the food was overcooked and left waiting. Finally, we had vanilla ice cream, a shot of expresso and Amiretto, lovely, but you can't really mess this up. Staff throughout were great. We complained about the risotto, and it was removed from the bill, and we were given a free glass of wine.
Sheer class can't even begin to describe this place! After a few minutes I was convinced my great grandfather had been a member of Parliament and that I was destined for greatness as well. Even MP isn't out of reach.

Our mains were a great turbot and a perfectly cooked Dover sole. Do not skip the pea purée side dish, which although it looks like baby food, is actually the purest, sweetest taste of English peas imaginable.
Good wine list with selections across the price points.

The portions are generally too large for how rich they are (although many wouldn't complain about that. I just felt bad for leaving food behind, but I simply couldn't eat any more).

Good Seafood! I think it is the best one in Edinburgh! Paella and cold platter are my favorite ones! The waitresses and waiters are so helpful! The manager is so knowledgeable for wine recommendation! If you are in Edinburgh and want to have some seafood, this is the place to go for!
Great seafood, really fresh and well cooked fish. I had the halibut and 2 sides, with drink it came to just over £33. Really good service.
Went here for our anniversary and every part of the experience was perfect! The food was cooked to perfection, the staff were so lovely and helpful from beginning to end and I really cannot recommend the steaks here enough. Will be returning some day simply due to the lovely service and great food. Solid recommendation if you're looking for steak in Brighton with a nice atmosphere that is isn't so sophisticated you feel awkward just being there, but classy enough you know you're in for a exceptional time.

A cosy place at the top of bold street, perfect if you’re wanting pasta and seafood.

Food was OK we had the new year banquet at 34 a head then a service charge added on top food was average service was great venue had gone quite due to the time.
I would go again but not on a fixed price menu the value for money was not present

What a fab evening in any possible way! The food was excellent, made with love, fine ingredients and nicely presented. The cocktails were delicious and a tasty surprise. The service was flawless and the upper room was very cosy and relaxed. It is definitely my favourite place to eat in Brighton.
We turned up on 31st Dec around mid afternoon without a booking for a quick lite lunch. The restaurant was busy but they found a table for my son & I. My son ordered their steak sandwich which was fantastic, meat was perfect medium rare.
Great night with my lovely partner, really enjoyed the seafood platter, we ordered the £30 one which was still amazing.
The pink grapefruit & Gin sorbet was great too.
The staff and manager were nice and friendly to help.

Food here was really good. The fish was fresh. We tried multiple dishes and we liked all of them. Highly recommend this place.
Went here recently for date night and the food continues to be phenomenal. Service was absolutely amazing and staff were kind and engaging. They were also kind enough to make me a non alcoholic cocktail that was off menu.

I celebrated my anniversary here last week and I'm so happy I chose Hawksmoor. It took me a long time to decide where to go but I made the best decision of my life.
From the beginning to the end it was amazing. The chateaubriand was not just perfectly cooked but I've never tasted a steak so good. It was out of this world. The starters, the sides, and the dessert were all perfect. I could go into details but we all know that the meat was the star of the dinner and I can't imagine going elsewhere for a juicy steak instead of Hawksmoor.

The customer service was exceptional, and the food was served very fresh. I ordered the mussels with shallots pot, the seafood platter, and seafood chowder. All tasted fantastic.
Pre-booking is a must as they are very busy.

Four of us dined here on a Thursday evening. The meal was outstanding - one of the best I've had. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, with a great choice of dishes on the menu. It was quiet that evening, but the restaurant is very tastefully decorated and the background music was inviting. We appreciated the personal attention we received.
Seven ladies from the local neighbourhood had a meal on Tuesday 14 th November.
It was our second visit to the Mediterranean and both times did not disappoint. The waitress was efficient and friendly, the food was hot and well presented. There was a good choice of unusual fish dishes.
Puddings were spot on!

I am impressed how they have set up the restaurant to be slightly formal, yet warm and cosy at the same time. It was busy there this evening and felt the noise level was very well managed.

Top class. We had a fantastic lunch here. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. But best of all, the food was delicious.
I had the Sea bass and it was really exceptional, so fresh and cooked to perfection. Washed down with a yummy house white wine.
Dietary requirements well catered for. Being Gluten and dairy free I was well looked after. Won't be long before I return as need to try their Gluten free pasta!

Kind of an interesting vibe for lunch - service was pretty quick and the food was decent but nothing overly special, just fairly standard fare. The price was fair and the location was convenient. Not a great place on a hot summer day - there was little airflow so the restaurant was uncomfortable.
Great place for sea food. Huge portion for the fish and chips. Was bit of a slow service, but the food did all the justice. A bit pricey in comparison to other sea food restaurants in town. Convenient location and friendly staff.
The food was average, a typical British Indian menu but other places do it better for a better price. For example, the mutter paneer was rather bland, and the naans didn't have that charred taste and were a bit small.

They love what they do and where they work and it shows in what they do, both in service and in the wonderful food they're so proud to share with the world. The plating is great. The service is great. The young lady from Eastern Europe with the red hair is a real firecracker of a waitress/hostess. Walks with much purpose and with a sense of urgency. Really friendly and great to visit with.
Had a Lamb Karahi and a Veggie Bhuna. Honestly, it was pretty bland. Lamb was very overcooked and very chewy. Papadams had been microwaved, not fried. Would not go back.
The food was pretty good. We ordered the tandoori mixed grill and chicken tikka. Both were well spiced with tender meat. We would definitely go back. However, the server was a little condescending.
Our first time using these due to issues with our two local chinese takeaways. Absolutely no complaints, an extensive menu and lovely tasty food. Prompt service and reasonable prices, we will be back!

Had an hour before our film started and the waiter looked after us so well. Had our dinner and it was absolutely wonderful.
3 years ago I would of given 1/2*, I now use regularly and I personally think it is very good until tonight! I had a set meal, if I could of given them 10* I would of! Everything very hot and well cooked, my only problem is I nearly made myself sick as I didn't want to leave anything! I hope you carry on making beautiful food. Love it.
Main dish was nice, plenty of meat and good sauce but the chips were sweaty, over cooked cold noodles and tasteless prawn toast. Sorry but it was very bad, so many better Chinese restaurants around Sheffield & Rotherham.
Don't understand the bad reviews for this place. Our usual Chinese wasn't open so we tried this place via Just Eat. Honestly the BEST prawn toast I've ever tried, big portion too! Always look forward to ordering from here now, it's going to be our new regular Chinese! Only complaint is the prawn balls have very small prawns in them so it's mostly batter, they're not big juicy prawns that you normally get in prawn balls (from experience) but it hasn't put us off.
Classic British Restaurant. Close to promenade and the beach. Nice food, friendly staff, tidy. Reasonable prices for the size of portions.
Best chinese we've had. Been our favourite for over a year now, Delivery's always spot on, done a few collections that's been ready on time, no complaints! We have everything plain and they've always filled requests.
Great service, food was superb, was planning on going a 2nd time but they were fully booked as its a hotel too. But will definitely go again when there again.

Absolutely amazing stay. Room was beautiful. Quiet. Clean. Modern feel. Really friendly family and make sure you eat in both the cafe and restaurant! Worth every penny.

Enjoyed eating here as the staff who served two of my friends and I was friendly. Food portions very generous especially for the price which was reasonable. Nice old school ambience about the place. I would recommend it if in the area esp. during the low season.
After along time we tired Millbank Spice again and it didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back
Nice indian curry restaurant in the Pimlico/Victoria area. Large dining Space with seating for almost 50 people. Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and seats. Food served on millbank spice plates accompanied with a nice relaxed atmosphere and authentic south Asian music played over speakers. Good food well presented and very reasonably priced with good fast service. Also serves takeaway food.
Excellent customer service and menu choices. However chips were a little too oily for my group of people. Sweet potato fries are the way to go.
