I’m very anxious seeing a dentist and this place is fantastic for putting you at ease, explaining everything before treatment and being very professional - yet caring.
I highly recommend this dentist, hands down the best dentist in the area.
All staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Everyone who has looked after my children and me have been really friendly, welcoming, supportive and also professional. They have supported with difficult treatments such as a difficult tooth extraction for my 11yr old son who was really grateful as they explained everything that would happen and stopped when he needed a break. Although it was a tough experience they were brilliant with him and he felt better once sorted.

The receptionists always try their best to give you an appointment as soon as possible. I got my last non-urgent one just within a week! The dentists are friendly, skilled, diligent and spend lots of time to explain procedures. I recommend this practice.

Thanks to the team at Hampshire Terrace. I’m long term dental phobic but for the first time in 20 years I went to the dentist today and realised I hadn’t experienced false tooth pain in the week running up to the appointment. Following a poor experience with a different dentist I’ve always been very nervous of dentists. The whole team I’ve seen at Hampshire Terrace have been very sympathetic and respectful over the years and my newest dentist Kemi has a lovely manner. She’s very clear in her explanations, sensitive to the patient and highly professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, particularly for nervous patients.

So impressed by my experience at this practice. Suffered a broken tooth with 10 days to go until a holiday abroad and they went the extra mile to fit me in.

I was treated by Dr Jayendra Patel, who is possibly the best dentist I’ve ever had - coming from someone who’s father taught dentistry and hand picked our dentists as kids that’s high praise indeed. No pain, quick and kind, what more do you want because let’s face it, no one likes getting a filling!

The worst experience I have ever had. I had composite filling a week ago and it was the most painful filling process I’ve ever had. After that process, my teeth and gum have been feeling painful while I am eating till today. Today, one of my teeth was chipped which is beside the tooth that the filling was done on. This happened while eating noodle (soft food) without meat just eggs. The dentist was really rough and she didn’t handle my gum and teeth gently. She was really unprofessional. The experience wasn’t worth the price.

Edited: They contacted me back and had a look at my teeth. This time I booked with another dentist and she polished and adjusted my uneven surface tooth. I was feeling good after that. Then, I also had a small composite filling and I felt okay and not painful this time. She took care of me and handled my tooth gently.

I've been attending this dentist for over 20 years. They are first class, very caring and up to date with techniques.
Yesterday when I arrived to book in, I was greeted by the two receptionists wearing goggles ! They were promoting a box of free goggles and trying to make their fellow workers laugh.
It certainly cheered all the clients up too.

I suffer with severe anxiety at the dentist, but thanks to Sonam Vadher I am slowly gaining more confidence. She has been amazing, showing kindness, understanding and patience.
Today, I had some work done and although I was anxious, Sonam and her lovely assistant were wonderful. They kept me calm, explaining everything and constantly checking I was ok.
I was well looked after in reception and they also kept my spirits high, even though they were extremely busy.

I had an appointment to remove a tooth broken off at the gum line and was referred by my usual clinic. I was treated by Jayendra Patel and considering how petrified I was and in tears due to a very bad experience with another dentist previously, he handled it amazingly. He put my mind at ease as best he could and was incredible with the treatment. It was over and done with so quickly! Very clean and professional clinic and all of the staff there are lovely and welcoming! Thank you for being so kind to me, and apologies I was so hysterical! You have made me feel a lot better about going to have treatments done in future. Thank you again! Would highly recommend, especially to very nervous patients.

Sue, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful and understanding. She took the time to explain the different treatment options available instead of rushing you. Even though they were fully booked, she managed to squeeze my sibling in for an emergency appointment that same day. Of course, the doctors were on point. Definitely recommend this practice!

Recently referred to Smiles from my local Tamworth dentist to have a front tooth removed. The dentist and all the staff are very patient and advised me with options for having a false tooth fitted and done without delay. Great friendly service and no fuss follow up with some adjustments to the prosthetic tooth. Very much recommended.

Today I had my first experience with Burton Smiles Dental Clinic.. the reception staff were very polite and helpful, and the dentist was exceptionally friendly, proficient and explained every step of the procedure as he went along.

Excellent Dentist! I needed a lot of treatment due to neglect/errors from a different Dentist Surgery. High anxiety due to this previous experience, for 8 years.

My new Dentist at Bupa has been great. Treatment plan from first visit, reassuring and understanding. Treatment all done, the level of care was outstanding. The treatment itself was explained well and went smoothly. Unlike my previous experience. I have only been with Bupa Stretton for a few months and my anxiety has reduced already.

Quickly resolved a small issue for my child's teeth. That had been blamed on myself and my child at our previous Dentist, and left unresolved.

Top dentist surgery. I’ve used them for the past 7 years. My dentist (Dr Bina) always gives me full information before any treatments and answers my questions in a simple way that I can understand. I would highly recommend coming here.

Substandard experience - visited to have my tooth extracted, was given very limited advice on the process & the aftercare despite asking numerous times. Lack of care & compassion is what I’d sum it up as. Provided feedback directly to the management and requested acknowledgment to ensure lands in the right place as approach to the patient is deeply concerning - no sign of acknowledgment 9 days later. Overall I’d say avoid if you can.

I came in for an emergency dental appointment as no other clinics had availability. I was reluctant to go here as my dental appointment here 2 years ago took 5 minutes, it felt rushed and incomplete. That first experience, coupled with the low reviews compared to others in the area, discouraged me but I was desperate and needed to see a dentist ASAP.

From the moment walking in, the dentist never acknowledged me. The nurse was speaking to me and asking me questions instead. After the dentist examined my tooth for 2 seconds, he assumed my tooth was infected after a root canal, and needed an implant which costs £2k. Naturally due to the high cost of the procedure, I wanted to ask questions and take time to deliberate. I told him "I had a root canal 5 years ago, and went to a check up with him 2 years ago, and nothing was ever detected, so have I had an infection for 5 years? That doesn't make sense. Either this was missed 2 years ago, or I don't have an infection." His answer was "i don't know. I'll just give you some penicilin", with a very impatient tone, the exact same rushed one as the first appointment. I gave up, accepted the antibiotics, and thought I would just wait for an appointment with my actual dentist, as this convo was going nowhere. The appointment took a whole 10 minutes, and I left the clinic without any resolution.

Avoid this clinic if you want a decent dentist, don't waste your money here, because they only care about the payment, and not the health of your teeth.

Amazing staff, they made me feel so comfortable and in safe hands. I had two wisdom teeth out at two separate sittings and it was my first ever experience of a tooth extraction and during the whole experience I didn’t feel a thing after I was very carefully and gently numbed. My recovery was very quick and they explained the after care clearly. Would definitely recommend. Brilliant and very experienced dentist.

I'm absolutely blown away by the exceptional service I received. Suffering from gum pains, I was quite concerned after my research suggested a serious issue. However, upon booking an appointment, Jay immediately reassured me, guiding me through the process with expert care. His great explanation of the treatment plan and necessary steps put me at ease. Following my dental hygiene treatment, I felt rejuvenated and confident in my smile once again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better dentist. I wouldn’t usually say I’m scared of the dentist but to me honestly who loves going. But this place made me feel so welcome and relaxed. Booking and signing in is easy with so little if any stress. I got an appointment quickly and front desk staff are more than accommodating. Thank you!

I recently completed my dental treatment under Neil’s care involving teeth removal, bonding and dentures made and fitted.
Anybody considering comprehensive dental work I would highly recommend this Bupa practice.
Neil provided a fantastic service advising and reassuring me every step of the way and the results are amazing.

Rude receptionists that will only book appointments for you, if you are a private paying customer. Dental suites are terribly unhygienic. This dental practice is the prime example of why NHS dental care is falling apart and why the government have to bribe dentists with cash incentives.

Was a patient pre covid, and during it I was unable to get an appointment, so after trying for a bit I just stopped calling. Been in some pain lately so decided to book an appointment just to be told that I am no longer a patient and that one check up would cost £70… you dont take patients for a solid 2 years and then fully remove them from your system. This is ridiculous and should not be allowed

I was really worried about having my wisdom teeth out but staff are so lovely and made me feel so relaxed. The whole process was very quick and almost pain free. Thank you so much to the lovely dentist who saw me.

I had an appointment, but had to go into hospital as an emergency. I called up the surgery to inform then and asked if they require evidence of this. They said no it would be alright however, as it's last minute can be classed as late.
Next thing I know, I'm receiving a letter through the post as a later warning. Absolutely flawed.

For the first time ever I think I was glad to go to to dentist's. They could not have been anymore helpful and professional about everything. I got a full set of dentures top and bottom and are very very pleased with them. It was the best thing I could have done, Burton Smiles have really helped me smile again ( cheesy or what) ha ha ha ha ha but seriously you should speak to them before you go anywhere else. I will very gladly recommend them to everyone. Go on give them a phone and see how they can change your smile.

I'm new (ish) to the area and just rang to see if they were taking on new clients. The receptionist said (adamantly) that they were only taking on private clients and not NHS clients. I said that was fine and asked her what registration would entail as a private client. She started rattling off prices so quickly and with such disdain in her voice; as if I was inconveniencing her.

I was informed from a friend that this was a lovely practice but I won't give my money to people if they are rude from the start and for a simple registration query.

Had the most thorough care from Shrina. I fell over on my way to my consultation and all the staff were so caring and compassionate. I came back a week later for work on my teeth. I have never experienced such great service when it comes to dentistry, thank you Shrina and all your team. Such an amazing job from booking to finish aftercare it has been an amazing experience.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have always found it excellent experience at each appointment with every practitioner particularly Mr Abou-Deeb, his nurses and Hygenists. The reception staff are also always polite and helpful.

Been a long time patient of this dentist and noticed they’re money grabbing. Will wait for minor cavities to become large fillings/root canals to get more money from you.

Dentist check said all good, hygienist said I had a few minor cavities that I should address asap.

I've had a wonderful experience, multiple fillings, including a large one I didn't think was possible. Every procedure was carried out to the highest level by Vaishali and Tilly. After avoiding the dentist for far to long I'm over the moon to get everything finally sorted. They have helped me get my smile back

The woman who done my teeth whitening was rude and lacked customer service skills. I was 15minutes late and I had booked a session for an hour. The woman explained that due to my lateness the 15mins would be taken off from my session if the next customer arrived which I was happy to do so. However, when the procedure began she was extremely hostile and also ended my session after only 30mins even though no customer had arrived- she clearly was more interested to run back to her phone! The session did nothing whatsoever to my teeth! I wasted my time and money.

I decided to visit Smile as my former dental practice never seemed to have availability with the hygienist for a clean. The whole process with Smile from making an appointment over the phone to the welcome I had on arrival was smooth and I couldn't thank the specialist enough for how good of a job was done. From what is usually an anxious environment for me, Smile was able to make me feel comfortable and I will have no qualms in going back!

Genuinely one of the best salons I've ever had a treatment in. The lady Garsha (sorry if spelt wrong) was absolutely amazing. So personable, genuine and friendly. We had a lovely chat during my treatment and I felt so comfortable. The salon is so beautiful too, you did a fab job with the interior, your choice of neutral colours and decor created such a warm ambience. I did hollywood wax and underarms wax dreading it'll hurt as I left it so long but, you did such a great job with your technique I didn't feel a thing! After years of fearing the dentist, I have to commend my Dentist Mohammed Suleman! I have been to Mohammed a few times now and he’s absolutely wonderful! Very patient, understanding and caring and he makes every appointment a lot less scary! I would recommend Mohammed to anyone, especially those, like me who are usually scared of dental visits. Also each nurse that has worked alongside him in my visits have been very pleasant too!

Very helpful and friendly staff but unfortunately this surgery no longer employs an NHS Dentist and I was informed that they will not refer me to another NHS Dentist Surgery. I am retired and a pensioner and cannot afford private treatment therefore I need to find an NHS Practice, I explained this to the staff but no help was forthcoming.

Joined Beaufort Dental Health Centre 6 months ago and it was easy to book an appointment. I had my first appointment with Gail who was friendly and knowledgeable. Gail didn't find any issues but suggested I may need a splint, as I grind my teeth at night. The splint is not cheap at £300 - £400, but it defineitly stops my teeth grinding at night and is comfortable to wear. My teeth now feel a lot stronger through out the day than before and don't experience jaw pain in the morning. Should have got one years ago.

As with a lot of people, I hate going to the dentist. Hadn't been since before lockdown, and in all honesty the one I used to go to were forever cancelling my appointments. Registered here as I had broken a tooth. Have been for a filling today. Vaishali Abbie did my filling. She's so nice and friendly, as all the staff are, and made me feel at ease,

I'm a very nervous patient and the dentist was brilliant with me. She explained what she was doing, how long it would take. I went in for a crown and I'm very happy, the colour is perfect and you would never know it was not my own tooth.

I’ve had my teeth whitened here a couple times in the past. Always a good result, very informative practitioner and the only place in/around London I come for my treatment. I managed to get 6 shades lighter in this session. Will always return here.

I would not recommend this dental practice unless you want to be left in a worst situation and excruciating pain. This was suppose to be a simple tooth extraction (not a surgical procedure), but due to the inexperienced/ incompetent dentist I was left with half a broken tooth, advised to see a dentist at another practice with a two week waiting time, and told ‘it happens’. Furthermore, she wouldn’t stop making it worse, until I said enough was enough. I was in so much pain (not enough local anaesthesia) and severely swollen. When complained and raised my disappointment I was told ‘the practice doesn’t tolerate aggressive behaviour’. I am now having to go private to get the problem she’s created fixed.

Ive been attending this dental surgery for a number of years and I cannot fault their service. The environment is neat and most importantly, clean! Staff are very friendly and service is always on point. My children have grown to enjoy visiting the dentist as Rowena ensures to keep them relaxed, entertained and at ease, charming them with a sticker at the end of their visit. Natalie along with the other receptionists are always polite and ready to assist in any way with queries etc and most importantly they are really good with the kids which is always a bonus ! I recently visited the hygienist for the first time, he provided a great & thorough service with lots of reassurance for my anxieties, thank you team!!

The dentist that I have seen, dealt with my issue in such a caring matter. I’m a rather nervous patient, but my nerves were at ease, especially with the cheerful nurse by my side. For the first time ever I had to have a tooth extraction and was more than a little apprehensive. However, I needn't have worried - I received a first-rate service from the moment I walked through the door. The receptionist was polite, friendly and helpful and my dentist, Dr Shaikho, and his assistant Ayisha, were absolutely brilliant. Once the gum was numbed, the tooth was removed in a couple of minutes and was totally pain free.

I visited this dental practise after relocating. I have never experienced such refreshing customer service like it. The receptionist were so warm welcoming. I then got called in for my treatment. The dentist named Ash and her nurse were so empathic, relaxed and took time and didn’t make me feel rushed, as I suffer with really high anxiety. I would highly recommend the team in general, they are so hard working and you could really see how passionate they are in their working but also care for patients. So refreshing I have found this practise that I know I’m in safe hands.

I had a different dentist back in 2019 and was apprehensive about getting a new dentist but I am very pleased to be with Dr Anita.

I was treated by such a brilliant dentist and dental nurse!! Specifically, Dr. Morgan has been an excellent dentist from start to finish. He not only provided me with excellent dental care but has always showed me professional expertise. I had braces in the past, however, I was not happy with how my smile had turned out. When I was seen by Dr. Morgan he was able to quickly determine that to achieve the smile I wanted, I would have needed to extract 4 teeth. At first I was slightly scared, however, I’m so happy I trusted him to go ahead with the agreed plan. He was able to correct all the flaws I had mentioned during our initial consultation as well as the ones I’d mention throughout the course of our treatment plan. I’m much happier and confident, and I will be forever grateful to him for giving me back my smile. I was also made to feel so welcome by Dr. Morgan and I’ve always enjoyed attending my appointments – his amazing personality makes it so easy to talk to him. Equally, Erin has been an absolutely amazing dental nurse! She has been from there beginning and always made me feel so welcome and at ease. I’d always look forward to our appointments and catching up with them! They are by far the best duo I could have ever been treated by and could not recommend them enough! Sam has also been an absolute pleasure to speak to – she is very organised and works so efficiently and is always super-helpful especially when I’d need to re-arrange any of my appointments. Overall, I am very happy with the experience I’ve had at this practice.

Tooth Exposure

Required a tooth exposure and initial contact was with Gina who was absolutely fantastic and explained everything to me.

Very helpful & polite staff including the Periodontist Agnes Holler who was fantastic and explaining all the technical and medical procedures and giving me lots of confidence and reassurance that all will be fine. She was right the procedure went really well.

I was a patient at this practice and I tried to get in for an emergency appointment with severe toothache and facial swelling following a filling that went bad. No appointment was provided and as GP won't deal with dental we had to go back to Bupa stretton to collect antibiotics. This did nothing and my face just swelled even bigger. Contacting them again we were told to give the antibiotics time.
We rang 111 and was advised to go to A&E, when we arrived there my condition worsened and I was transferred to Derby Royal at 3am for an emergency operation.
By the time this was over the swelling was so bad that I was put on a ventilator for 6 days to enable me to breathe while I healed. Then another 5 days in intensive care.
With spending so much time incapacitated I have struggled to walk since.
This is all for a toothache that Bupa refused to look at. When my wife called the practice she received an apology and a promise they would be more diligent in future with toothache. I don't know how they can do this because they won't see anyone.
One week later we received a text cancelling our next routine appointment. Pardon me if I don't say thanks for the service Bupa.
I was told by a nurse at the Derby Royal that they are seeing lots more people with tooth abscesses because dentists are refusing to see them.
I am lucky to be here but that is thanks only to the fantastic staff at Derby Royal.
Despite calling the surgery my wife did not manage to speak to the manager Nor have they bothered to call us to discuss it. Still I suppose there is no answer for this type of bad service.
Look at the last review before mine and you will see how quick they reply when there's private money concerned. I'm now convinced that during the pandemic they are only seeing private patients. Incidentally my trouble started with the dentist suggesting a filling that was unnecessary but said it would save work later. It nearly killed me and I have a possible 2 month recovery to look forward to. If you value your health avoid. Despite a promise of getting in touch they are not in a hurry to give me an explanation why they put me in a position where I nearly died and why they then cancelled my check ups. Unless they can't face me. It's strange too how a review like mine is immediately followed by two first class reviews.
Since posting this and bupa promising to get in touch with me I have had no contact with them. They only seem to have put the reply on here to give the impression they care but they obviously don't. Update..over 2 months now and I had one phone call from bupa which was more of a digging exercise really to find out how far I'm taking it. I was promised another call for last week and got absolutely nothing. Thinking I will make it official now. Its notable that they will admit that mistakes were made over the phone but don't put much in writing. Wonder why?

Update.. I have changed to Private and have seen a marvelous Dentist that had time for me and referred me back to hospital for another checkup.
I pay monthly now and get seen at a nice clean environment with a guarantee of check ups. Don't pay much more and have 24/7 emergency coverage 365 days a year.

One more thing to ponder on:-
Imagine you are in Hospital during a major Pandemic and the medical team visit you at your bedside. The leading man says " You need this operation urgently but I have to tell you that you may catch covid in hospital or I might give you covid. Or you may be put on a ventilator and you may die. I was told I was extremely lucky to be here now. I went on that ventilator but luckily I survived but someone one day may not.

Just a update Bupa have not resolved this with me no matter what they say. I have had conversations and promises that it was being dealt with. It now looks like a time wasting exercise so I have no chance of making a claim against them. Any records I had with them disapeared.
They don't really care, they stopped talking after while and making promises. Please AVOID

Fantastic location and effective customer care

A very nice and clean place.

I recently visited Wapping Dental and would recommend the centre to anyone in the area or travelling into London for a decent dentist. The ladies on the desk were extremely friendly and welcoming, even happy to have a chat at 8am in the morning!

The dentists are great and extremely accommodating to needs when fitting you in for a (spontaneous) filling! Rowena was super welcoming and professional making my experience the 5 stars.

I travel over 30 minutes to this dentist and wouldn't swap the journey to find an alternative dentist, they're easily located and make you feel comfortable throughout your appointment.

I had to remove the stitches after wisdom tooth extraction. It was 2 min and 45 £ gone! Definetely to much for such quick procedure! The customer service is very good! Everybody very kind and helpful.

Dr Jagsi And His Team Are Nothing Short Of Amazing. I Have had Route Canal Treatments, Molar Extractions And Wisdom Teeth Removal Carried Out By Dr Jagsi And I Would Not Go Anywhere Else. , Everything Has Been Done Painlessly And Without Fuss.
