The only bad thing is they had no trolleys.
Hectic, as would be expected in the run-up to Christmas. Found what I went in for easily, and out again fairly quickly.
My delivery came. Ive not heard great reviews from friends with regards to expiry dates at the Queenborough branch i ordered a few things fresh. The ham turned up opened so unable to use and goes out of date the next day. Pork pies..again goes out of date the next day and fresh chicken also goes out date the next day so unless im planning Carnivore diet im meant to all that meat in 24 hours. Unacceptable. I did ring the branch and whoever i spoke yo kindly offered to refund me for the ham that was ripped but Icelands policy is that they can send things out with one day on them. Obviously i wont be shopping there again. Just frustrating ive never had issues like that from Morrisons or Ocado before so it goes to show you actually get what you paid for. I understand times are hard but dont mug a customer off and give MOST of the fresh stuff they order nearly expired food because you loose customers like this.

Lots of parking space. Lots of frozen food to choose from at very reasonable prices. They also sell lots of groceries that are nit frozen too.

A really great store! Accessible, affordable, pretty good selection of goods, and they accept card payments. I bought plums there while in season, and they were some of the most delicious plums I've ever had. Great groceries! If you live around White knights, you should definitely come around here for your weekly shops or pick me ups

I got some chicken goujons and chicken breaded sticks and they are very nice and crispy, must try with pepper and salt. I got some watermelon and pineapple juice but those were not organic but flavours were added which wasn’t very good. You can get a 12 pack if nestle water for 2.50 pounds only

Deceptively big as inside is no bigger than a high street store butnits well stocked. Plenty of free parking too.

Excellent location and choices of products...however:
- You are almost guaranteed long queues to checkout as only 1 cashier staffing the 3 tills (and no self checkout area)
- Store often closes well before their advertised closing times. They have been closed more than 2 hours before they supposedly close on multiple occasions I have tried to buy groceries over the past few months.

Plenty of selection, amazing prices, helpful Happy staff..all you can ask for in a shop really.
Nice staff but poor things are run off their feet, trying to stack freezers etc and serve on the till.

Fantastic Shopping Experience! I had a wonderful time shopping at Fair Deal Supermarket! The store is well-organized, clean, and offers a wide variety of products. Nice big sized shop with plenty of choice and offers. Free 1 hour parking in waitrose car park next door makes it easy to park and get to the shopping back to the car.
One elderly lady brought a small dog into the store. No one said anything.

Really love this shop!! Each time I visit my family in Reading its always on my. Everyone so kind and helpful and I just love seeing the variety of food and spices available ! I always need to make space for packets of spices to take back!

Convenient, well stocked, if a bit small. Most stuff well priced (cat food could be cheaper) but largely happy to be a customer here, staff are friendly.

Good frozen products but staff need to be a bit more careful as they sometimes hit kids with boxes when filling shelves or almost knock them over because they hold the boxes in front of their faces so they can't see where they're going

Went in for Slimming World items, couldn't find SW curry sauce and told must be out of stock. On the whole staff quite helpful.

The location of the store is very good. Only one thing i would like to mention, as most of the tills are close often, we have to wait for long.

Not much room when you walk in, especially with a pushchair. Everything's in the way. Hardly any selections if move. Nit as good as they used to be.
Poor customer service and low quality, it is not recommended at all. You can find better service and products in many better supermarkets. Please see other reviews and how many "one-star" ratings this supermarket has received, as well as the negative customer comments. I did my review, and I have no intention to spend a penny on this business. How do I shop in a place like that? It is obvious; the business owner has nothing to say other than attack the reviewers, as he always does.
As usual many good bargains but unfortunately no where to park and as its on a corner by traffic lights you cannot pull up and nip inside.

Food always good, staff always good. Pity about the ignorant woman on the counter today serving her colleague chatting, and slowly packing her bags knowing she had a queue of two more people behind waiting. The woman in front of me even went to the next counter and got served quicker, along with the person behind me ! Some people have no idea.
Iceland - great place to shop! They tend to have most items that I need. The Croydon branch is located in a street market (Surrey street) which makes it convenient. Open quite late most nights (mon-sat).

A lot of prices are linked to buy 2 for a lower price than if you buy them individually. This is annoying and will stop me shopping here in future. I suppose its OK if you have a Large family or the freezer space but for pensioners it's a no go.
Bizzare customer service from check out assistant today. My 29 Year Old sister was served by an adult female sales assistant after purchasing basic groceries and a bottle of WKD. The female sales assistant proceeded to laugh at us throughout the transaction then I.D us for a bottle of WKD.
Well stocked shelves, reasonably clean, but it's a store that's showing it's age. The reason I don't use the store very often is the horrendous wait at the till. It's convenient for grabbing bits and bobs because it's right by the bus station, just be careful you don't miss your bus.
Has what is needed. Small though, but if you go at a quiet time it's easy enough to get what you need and get out. And the store is generally clean and well presented. Now that they have self checkouts, it's easier.

I hadn't been in an Iceland store for quite a long time,when I popped into this store to buy some eggs and frozen vegetables I didn't think it was as cheap as some of my friends had told me...Aldi and Lidl are much cheaper. The store looked a little messy and the queues at the till were long and the staff didn't seem that nice either. Not impressed at all to be honest!!

Surprised it wasn't too busy for the time of year. The shop was still well stocked with some Christmas goodies. There was a steady flow of people and the delivery slots were all full by time I went through checkout at about 11ish.
Not much to say, really apart from every time I shop food is more expensive than the last time. But in their defence, it's the same everywhere. On a positive though staff are very helpful.
Sad to write but no choice after numerous complaints. Please don't buy meat from this shop. Butchers and meat both are horrible .owner brother farooq is true gentleman but probably he doesn't know what's happening in meat section.

This store is the worst I've ever experience. Waiting on delivery. Witch didn't arrive wrong address. Sean store manager refused to help in any way. As store was about to close never in my wildest dreams have a manager not being able to sort out the problem
Absolutely awful supermarket, always very long queues and the staff have no customer service skills or politeness at all, all they do is argue, shout and jump into altercations with customers for very little things (eg a bonus card not scanning) creating embarrassment when they should be serving with respect and courtesy.
The middle aged female cashiers are the worst I have ever come across possibly my whole life. Only one male cashier seems knowledgeable and courteous. Iceland should feel embarrassed having these people representing their company.

Unfortunately despite staff being pretty good there is one checkout woman who was incredibly rude to me, I believe it was because I was wearing a GAA top. Also there's a security guard that appears to stalk me when I try to shop. It makes me feel really uncomfortable & is totally inappropriate. If not for these two staff members I'd give them 5 stars. I actually avoid shopping at this branch because of this. It's unfair to the many polite, professional friendly staff they have but these incredibly negative interactions were really unsettling.
It's a great Shop. For the price of food that everybody can afford. A lot of it is Cheaper than co op. Or tesco. I don't go anywhere else I love this Shop.

This store is always well stocked and presented. The staff are friendly and talkative. There is a great range of both frozen and fresh products. Don't make the assumption it is all unhealthy frozen junk food. It isn't. There is loads of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fresh dairy and pasta. It is located next to the car park and has easy access to load into your car. It's wheelchair accessible.
A box standard Iceland really. For starters it has a car park of course! It's a lovely small Iceland.

Iceland is ok 👍🏻 but its really not what it used to be. They used to have a lot of deals and the prices were decent but I'm recent years they have gone up I'm price on there foods so just watch out becouse although it looks like your getting a lot for your money when you come out and take your shopping home you might find you have less than what you thought for the big price you paid 😉.
Massive selection of Meals. Great variety. Bargains to be had and posh stuff if you want to splash out. Bought 2 slimmers world meals. Chile con carne very good. Cheese banquet a bit tasteless and as usual with copy take aways, way to much ginger. Thinking of making a trip to fill up the freezer.

I bought meat from this shop on 2/10/21. I bought gizzard fresh from the counter as well as beef shin. The beef shin had been packaged as frozen and the package stated that the beef shin had been frozen on 16/9/21 and was due to expire 08/22.On 13/10/21 I decided to cook my meat from frozen.
The gizzard gave off a funny smell before i simmered it and when i proceeded to boil it it still smelt horrible and I immediately discarded it. With the beef shin as soon as i started simmering it, it exuded a foul smell. To which i continued to cook it and even grill it in the oven as I wanted to make sure I was not being paranoid and I got a member of my family to taste it, who stated that the meat had gone off.
I was very disappointed by this Fairdeal. I think for the safety of other customers you need to thoroughly inspect what is in your fridge. I will not be stepping foot into your premise again.

Some great value products are to be found here. Just shop wisely by comparing prices, Iceland usually comes out best.
It is a great place to dodge some of the price increases elsewhere, especially if you're over 65 because Iceland truly supports us by giving us 10% discount across the board on Tuesdays.

I love this store! I like to cook Asian and Middle Eastern food. They sell a great selection of top class quality fresh meats, spices, fruit, veg and frozen produce. Very friendly and highly recommended.

Great place to shop especially if you are looking for Indian vegetables like parwal, snake gourd and even gondhoraj lebu (commonly known as 'Bengali lemon' in Aberdeen)! Their dry food section has a wide collection including dal or lentils, saboo Dana, muri, dry samosa... Well! The list would go on! However, the shop needs a little more organisation, and price of items need to be updated on a regular basis. The mouth refreshment section might consider adding a little more stuff like hingoli, amchur, etc.
Lovely quality fruit and veg, amazing variety. They do all kinds of things sometimes getting exotic fruits like dragon fruits in. Staff are all friendly and helpful! Rather get my fruit and veg from here over supermarkets any day. I recommend this to anyone, support a smaller local business over supermarket always. Thanks guys!

The shopping experience in the store is OK, although prices are quite high now generally. I am still waiting for Iceland's head office to sort out the problem with my Bonus card, however, despite multiple requests. If it cannot sort out the issue, then my money should be returned back to me!

The shop is well set up. The staff are friendly polite and very helpful. Always able to explain or tell you what different special offers that they are advertising and what are good value for money.
Good deals on household named products. Most of the staff are nice but some shine more than others. Went there today and whilst they dont stock what i would call essential (yeast etc) its still good. Update = staff have changed a little and have improved.
I've been shopping here for years and its always been excellent service and goods. If you looking to top up on your fruit and veg and anything healthy this is the place to go! Top stars for top service.
