So glad I finally visited the viral, women-only Hammam spa in London, and I can confidently say it lives up to the hype and more. A traditional Hammam experience - From the black soap scrub, to deep Kessa mitt scrub, full-body clay mask & facial, to the honey hair mask, sauna & massage - every step left me feeling like I’d shed layers of stress and was completely renewed.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful—so warm, caring, and with a great sense of humour, they make you feel genuinely at home. Loved the Moroccan mint tea at the end of the treatment as my friend and I relaxed in the lounge. My skin was glowing and I felt so relaxed, will definitely be visiting again. The perfect relaxing escape in the heart of London, I can’t recommend Casa Spa enough.

Had the most amazing experience at Casa Spa. We booked the Escape package for a group of 5. We traveled 1hour to get there and were lucky to find parking in front of the shop. All the staff were lovely and so accommodating. The atmosphere was so peaceful and felt so safe as its ladies only. We felt like a new person walking out. Thank you for the amazing experience. Can’t wait to go back!

After returning from Morocco, I had been looking for a London-based hammam for a while and decided to try this place out after hearing good reviews from friends. For the price, it’s reasonable – you get what you pay for, and the services aren’t bad. The ladies working here are very welcoming, and I appreciated that it’s a ladies-only spa, which adds a nice level of comfort.

I would suggest a slight improvement in the steam room, as the flow can sometimes be intense and a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re a bit claustrophobic. Overall, it’s not a bad experience if you’re looking for a London hammam at a fair price.

Room was big but plain, stained (carpets), two single beds pushed together as a big bed and sand paper loo roll.

Service at the front desk was good as was the restaurant. Decent in the spa.

Location of the venue is excellent as are the grounds it's situated in.

Finding the meeting hub area, the rooms etc is relatively difficult as it's a bit of a maze but you figure it out eventually.

In summary, the spa and gym are excellent, the food was very good (particularly in the evening) but the hotel itself was very average in terms of rooms and service etc.

The room I booked was terribly dated and very tired, which was disappointing for the cost. The bedding was a disgrace and you get better at a Premier Inn. Disgusting old pillow protectors hanging out of the pillow cases, holes in duvet cover and pillow cases. Sheets that didn’t fit the bed.
Reception asked housekeeping to change the linen , a lady came to the room and advised all the linen was the same quality. Reception then moved me to a better graded room. This room was better but still dated and tired. It had terrible cobwebs that must have been there for some time. The bed linen was better but the duvet cover still had strange holes in the top corners that the duvet poked out of.
I would not come again as it doesn’t justify the cost by any means. It feels dirty because of how tired everything is. Very glad to only be staying one night.

Delightful. Service was very friendly and rooms were great, especially the beds. The area was nice for a little walk around as well - I didn't use any of the features like the spa, gym, or golf, but heard very good things while I was there! Traveling to and from was okay via public transport, but recommend a taxi from the nearest train station.

Spa and gym are very luxurious, staff are attentive and it is always very clean. Leon is very enthusiastic and cares about the members’ experience which is good to see. It is a pleasure to go to the gym or a swim. The new pool in the orangery and garden hot tub are a great new addition and the gym itself is very nice too.

The gym and spa are amazing and the staff approachable and friendly. I’m working with Leon (Personal Trainer/ Manager) to get back to my fitness levels and he’s amazing! We’ve got goals to work to, he’s motivational and nothings too much trouble! I’d definitely recommend!

A truly special spa day. An unexpected surprise of breakfast (which we didn't know was with the package) clean, elegant facilities. Lunch was light but very tasty. Really worth a trip. I would recommend.

We stayed as part of the overnight spa package. The location was beautiful, however the bedroom looked a little tired. The layout of the hotel was like a maze and the signs for your hotel room didn’t quite correlate with where the actual room was, so a bit confusing.
The Carrington Grill was good, the service was friendly and food tasted good.

There was a good choice at breakfast!

First time I tried after recommendation. Very impressed from the start, professional throughout and most definitely will make it a monthly treat. Visited Hammam abroad this is very much as good. Loved the steam room and found treatment impressive.

Left feeling refreshed, clean & skin feeling great.

Many thanks.

Golf break.... quite busy with other golfing groups, so expect at least a 4.5 hour round. The course was in excellent condition with some challenging holes and long par 3's.
Our room was not overly spacious but was clean and beds were comfy. If all rooms were similar to ours, then don't expect a bath. The shower was good but the bath can only be described as a extremely large shower tray!!!
Food and service were extremely good.

I was looking for a traditional Hammam and a massage place to go for such a long time in the U.K. and I found this place on google search and I am glad that I did. The place, the staff and the service is great and it is a very clean, decent place. I can’t thank enough to the staff who looked after me and the other clients really well, they go above and beyond when it comes to service. The massage was great too which I had been longing it for a while. I felt pampered, relaxed and refreshed after the whole experience. I will definitely will continue going there on a regular basis. I highly recommend it if you are a person that likes to go to Hammam and have a massage regularly for a treat for self care, pampering and relaxation. Thank you for the great service and care. I look forward to booking my next appointment.

Do not bother wasting your time and money with this place!
They are unprofessional, the person massaging us allowed people to come in to view the place recording whilst we were having our treatments, a while later the lady answered her phone at the same time as giving us the massage.
The place is so small and dirty! The steam room smelt like stagnant water. They didn’t clean anything after using for one person, the changing room is tiny and that rug on the floor… disgusting.
For the treatments we received they are over and done with within a matter of minutes, no time or effort such as waste of time and money.

I had an unforgettable experience at Casa Spa today with their Escape Experience for two. It was exactly what I needed. This traditional Hamam experience in London is so authentic and I loved every bit of it.

Karima and Dunya were absolutely amazing, and the massage was delightful. The black soap scrub, honey mask, and mud mask treatments were incredibly rejuvenating. The entire experience was extraordinary, and I can't wait to return soon!

I had a wonderful experience here today. Veronica was welcoming, friendly, patient and professional. Reading negative reviews, here is my answer!
For those of you who want a ‘4* hotel spa’ experience this is not the place for you. But this is an authentic Moroccan or Turkish Hamam where you get an amazing body scrub.

The spa experience was smooth start to finish, we were guided and taken care of exceptional well by Karima amd Hind who showed us friendly behaviour and professionalism. The scrub Karima gave me was so invigorating and refreshing . I especially enjoyed the all over body mud mask which left my skin moisturised and soft for days to come. The hair mask gave my hair volume even after shampooing days latter.. Then we dried off whilst we relaxed sipping mint tea. Worth every penny spent here exceptional quality service and customer care. 👌

I had an amazing time with Ryan and Natalie. Ryan my hair is amazing and I am sooooo happy with it. Natalie my eyebrows look fab and my shoulders feel so much better after my massage. My husband even said they aren't looking as rounded and forward now! Thank for making me feel so welcome. I am usually really nervous going for these sorts of appointments. But you both made me feel so welcome like I've been coming to you for years. Thank you for making me feel better about myself today x

Today I experienced for the first time a face and skin treatment "Glow up & Go facial". It was a wonderful 30 mins of relaxation and I love how my skin felt and looked.
Nice environment and the people who work are super kind.
I definitely recommend it and looking forward to my next appointment.
Always so welcoming and super high quality. They are so quick and kind with the waxes, over before you know it. And the manicure if the highest quality I have experienced. I’ve been loyal for five years now, once you come, you won’t want to go anywhere else.

Went for a barber cut the said barber spent 10 mins stating he wasn't a barber then convinced himself he was and proceeded to absolutely destroy my hair became aggressive shaking because he wasn't really a barber? I had to calm him down whilst the owner said she liked the colour which I do myself .I did feel sorry for him think he was scared 😱. But I paid because I I thought he might get the sack but would recommend to avoid at all costs absolutely dreadful place . My hair is a complete mess🤨 unless they have a magic wand there is nothing but to let it grow and get a real barber 🫣 thanks ryan !

I saw the reviews and was hesitant to come here. All the women were friendly however as the reviews say, it is not a clean place. It’s very very small and the “changing room” is ridiculous.

I feel like the massages were done by women who are not trained and just doing anything. The worst part is laying on the stone and feeling like a wet fish. It’s not comfortable setting and you would assume if you are paying for a massage session it would have more privacy.

Lastly, after the session I was expecting a massage with oil but we were told thank you all done. I also noticed they use gloves when doing the massages and the same dirty exfoliating glove on everyone!! Which is absolutely disgusting had to go home and bath many times after noticing.

Won’t be coming back it’s a real shame. Wowcher/Groupon needs to do something.

I feel quite a shamed that I have not done this before. I have been a customer with Beauty With Inn for many years. Staff are fantastic at what they do and they are friendly and fun. Somer is a very talented young lady..The owner Natalie always makes me laugh, she is just mad!!! But always have time for her customers.
If you haven't visited them you are missing out.. 5 star service all around..

Definitely will not recommend this Salon! They are not professional! Had an appointment today and confirmed with the lady from the reception that I'm coming for spray tan definitely. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE HERE! HOW THEY ARE WORKING?
Always a lovely experience, great staff, great views, cake and drinks lovely. The hot tubs inside could do with a proper clean/ replacement- which is the only reason for not giving 5 starts
My husband payed for a HIFU treatment
From GROUPON
I was not disappointed.
Ruth made me feel so welcome and comfortable, very chatty which makes the treatment even better,
explained how the treatment works and what l needed to do to get best results .
I'm looking forward to seeing the results,
Will definitely be returning for more treatments thank you 😊
I just don’t have words for the amazing pedicure I’ve had in the Brazilian Soul Beauty ☺️ My feet were amazing at the end: perfect nails, perfect skin and the massage: OH MY GOD it is soooo good, I felt so relaxed 🧘🏼‍♀️✨
I am super sensitive on my feet and I didn’t felt uncomfortable for 1 second. I will definitely come back every time I’ll need to get my feet done and also, I can’t wait to try the massages 😏

5 out of 5 for everything: amazing service, super relaxing space, everyone is so nice and always with a smile. I am super super happy 🙌🏼👏🏼🫶🏼
Thank you Jo for the loveliest facial, Dania for my gorgeous nails (!! never had chrome ones before) and to the lady at the front desk (I am so sorry, I didn’t get to catch your name) for being so welcoming. You are all amazing and I’ve always had excellent experience on every visit. Thank you again!
Got a much needed pedicure and it was one of my best experiences ever. For starters the environment was so relaxing and comfortable, everyone was super nice. Then there was a massage chair which was amazing!
My nails turned out so beautiful and my feet ended up so relaxed I could barely walk! 😅
Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing moment and a great pedicure!

Dania did a fantastic job with my nails once again, flawless with no chips after almost a month. There was a minor issue with the gel on my toes after my appointment. But I was seen quickly the next day and the issue was fixed in less than 5 mins. Lovely service! =)
Spa Break full of disappointment - I’ve never had to work so hard to relax 🤯!!

It was easy to book my Spa break online but very difficult to make any contact with the Spa and Hotel over the phone or by email to discuss my reservation and ask questions.

My day started negatively with the Spa Staff explaining I couldn’t walk through into the main hotel to go to my room later, I would have to walk around the outside of the building even if raining (they said that, not me). Putting that image in my head wasn’t helpful. I was then told I had to bring my dressing gown back to reception or I would be charged for it (wasn’t necessary to say this - slightly offended as I had no desire to steal a cheap robe)

I was supposed to get a complimentary glass of Prosecco but this was never offered. There were signs everywhere telling people not to reserve seats but this was completely ignored by all, partly because there were too many people in the Spa.

The locks on the lockers were a great idea but a lot of them were broken. Lots of people had to just leave the stuff in open lockers.

I went to explore the Spa and wandered in to the Elemis/Clarins shop, there were 2 reps there. Neither acknowledged me or offered to tell me about treatments, even when I was actually looking at the treatment board there was no acknowledgement I was even there.

I went in for lunch at the quieter time as I was alone and wanted to pick my table. I was told that I couldn’t request a booth as they were to be kept for larger groups. I was wedged in with the other people having lunch even though the booths remained empty throughout my lunch. Lunch was ok (but almost every option required an additional charge).

Dropped my dressing gown off at the desk and plodded round to the hotel were I was booked in at reception. I asked to have room service. I went to my room and struggled to find the room service menu - it was on a tiny leaflet which I had to scan with my phone.

Picked what I wanted and rang room service but no answer, I then rang reception but no answer, I then rang the external number from my mobile but still no answer. After 20 mins I ended up going down to reception in my PJs whilst still on the phone to find two members of the team having a discussion. The phone was on silent so they couldn’t hear my call. They were apologetic but gave no reason by the room service phone wasn’t being answered, and they weren’t really sure what times room service was available.

Room service arrived, the waiter tried to charge me although it was supposed to be covered as part of my Spa Break. After he left I realised I had no cutlery and the French fries were only half cooked. I was so fed up by this point I just ate my mediocre ceasar salad with my fingers. Contemplated just packing up and going home.

Breakfast in the morning was a cold buffet with a choice of hot to order. You could have a full English free of charge with scrambled eggs only. Everything else was an additional charge, assume it’s because it’s less labour intensive to make scrambled egg from a packet than cooking a couple of poached eggs??

From start to finished my observation has been there Mottram Hall caters for Mottram Hall, their needs come first. The guests come second with extra charges for anything outside the below basic standard.

Was going to email the hotel this complaint but looking at reviews I can see it’s been like this for well over a year with other customers complaining about the same things and the hotel ignoring the feedback. I would just recommend avoiding.

Such a shame, there are some great Spa Hotels around and it seems like Mottram Hall are now just relying on passed reputation and cheap deals - making their money from unsuspecting guests!! Could be so much better.
I’ve been here a few times to have my brows done now and they always do an amazing job. Very good attention to detail and never take too much off. The wax doesn’t hurt as much as other places I’ve been and the lash dye doesn’t sting. I’ve had a pedicure here before as well and it was great. I got the more expensive one with a massage and it was well worth it for a bit of a treat. The massage was good and long and my toes were painted perfectly. Staff are always friendly.

The worst and the dirtiest place to be, this place have a price of £190. When I told them I can't use the Jacuzzi in this condition they offered a £10 refund 😄 by the way I requested a receipt and she said we cannot give receipt for the cash I insisted saying that is illegal and I was told this is what she is told to do.

I want visit again.
Absolutely shocking customer service the guy who does all the bookings is real piece of work. I booked an appointment which I even got a text to confirm and got there on time granting it takes me half an hour to get there. There was nobody in and no answer to any knocks or doorbell so I message the guy who does all the bookings and he cancels on me at that very moment for a laser treatment which as most should know takes a lot of time just to prepare for. Next day I message and he books another appointment for the following week and I say obviously angry at how much time was wasted in the first instance and that there should be some compensation. He calls me says how because I bought from groupon I’m not worth anything and then blocks me. Fair to say avoid this place at all costs. If anyone doesn’t believe me just look at the responses to some of the bad reviews.
I have been to this spa many times, you could even say over 20. I’ve purchased a complete variety of packages including a half day spa and over night spa. This is hands down my most favourite spa. The facilities are lovely and staff and super helpful. The spa and all facilities are clean and give a real Luxury feel. I always recommend to family and friends.
Food was very nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful. All spa areas were clean and in good working order. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Really enjoyed the chilling rooms and the outdoor pool. Would love to go again and would recommend.
Great venue, great facilities. The only disappointment is there is a lot of sun loungers being reserved and trying to get a seat when you’re booked a spa day on what was obviously an overbooked venue was rather difficult. The other negative is the size of changing rooms only allows 3 to 4 people to get changed at once, when this is holy in adequate for the number of guests.
Oh my god! I don’t even know where to start. I have bought 3 sessions of laser tattoo removal and refuse to go there for the 3rd time as I can’t take the disrespect no more. On my first visit the man sitting on reception made fun of my foreign accent as if we were friends? He cancelled with me 2 times in the very last minute. On my second visit he was having a chat with another customer and as I was leaving he explicit said with these words ‘let me get rid of this girl’ referring to myself; the lady he was talking to was so embarrassed, we both did not know how to react to his lack of respect. I asked for some sort of compensation as he cancelled with me 2 times already, and I had bought my train ticket from Mcr-Alderley, he was hesitant and said he would think. I finally call to book the 3rd session and he answers the phone making jokes of not having staff and then laughs and says ‘oh yes when would you like to book?’. Like??? It’s just BEYOND unprofessional, completely rude. I honestly rather loose my session paid for than have to deal with him ever again. In regards to the treatment, my laser session has left me with small scars and I would not recommend. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

I’m always super happy with the quality and finish of my nails! The skill and professionalism is unmatched! I’ve not been to any other salon that focuses so much on the little details. They are always friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is unmatched. Who knew getting your nails done could be so therapeutic and zen. I always go for the BIAB manicure as it ensures I can grow my own nails to a desired length without breakage. Last note, the colour selection is just *chef’s kiss* and they do chrome effects which I just can’t get enough of.
I’ll always recommend and I’ll always be back!
Brilliant staff who went out of their way to help. The hotel was clean, but the room was fairly basic and the TV pixelated so badly it wasn't watchable. The spa was nice, but still a bit basic. No indoor jacuzzi which we would ave liked. The restaurant looked like a school cafeteria, rather than a high quality restaurant. The food was really well cooked and presented, but it was limited.

On the whole, nice but nothing special.
The spa facilities at Mottram Hall are fantastic. You have a choice of outdoor spa, Indoor pools and spas, saunas and steam rooms. It is the perfect way to unwind. We also booked a massage which we were extremely happy with. Would definitely recommend this spa to anybody.
Just home from a perfect day at a perfect spa. From the atmosphere, facilities and the friendliest attentive staff. Everything about this place is perfect. Izzy is amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. Must give a shout out to the chef as he made me a homemade soup.(which isn't on the menu) I had a tooth out and still cannot eat solid food. Without hesitation Izzy went and said let me see what we can do. Nicole in the bestro was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Every member of staff we encountered were happy to help and nothing was a bother. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!
Went for a day spa visit. LOVED the heated salt water outdoor pool!
Our favourite room was the warm room in Blossom. It has 3 cream leather looking lounge beds but look closer and you'll find 2 hidden heated tiled "beds" that are ergonomically so comfortable to recline on.

I visited Henlow Grange for a day spa in mid Nov 2023 with a friend. The view of the property is lovely as you drive up to it. The reception area is nice and staff were informative. The breakfast lounge is nice. With fresh treats to eat whilst you decide on venturing to the spa area. The spa area is calming in its appearance and has some cool retro spa photos on the wall. The treatment area has cozy seating and welcoming staff. I feel like you could spend lots on products. I had a facial treatment. My therapist, Sai, was amazing. She was good at massage and made my face feel and look amazing by the end. There are plenty of side relaxation rooms offering different ambiences. It’s worth exploring. The changing areas were ok, but luckily being midweek, there was plenty of space. I tried a fitness class that I had not done before. I really enjoyed and learned a lot about that particular activity. The food in the restaurant for lunch was yummy, and set me up for an afternoon of more lounging around. I visited the shop which is a shoppers dream. It’s a shame it closes as the same time as the day spa, however maybe that is a good thing.
Check out was easy and leaving in the dark half made me wish that I’d booked a room to sleep in. All in all, an enjoyable day.
We enjoyed a thoroughly excellent spa morning here and added a back/neck/shoulder massage. This is my second visit and we will certainly be back! Beautifully maintained and lovely staff. We especially loved the chill out room for a rest and quick doze, and the meze platter for lunch. A perfect venue for couples and friends looking for a day of quality time together.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional beauty treatment delivered by Marcela. She demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise throughout the entire treatment. Marcela took the time to thoroughly explain each step, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. Overall, I highly recommend Marcela for anyone seeking a professional and personalized beauty treatment. Her expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set her apart. I left the studio not only looking better but also feeling pampered and cared for. I look forward to my next visit and experiencing more of their excellent services.
Booked a treatment which would usually take between 45 - 60 minutes.
Due to traffic arrived 12 minutes late.

Received a 15 minute treatment which caused deep scratches on the right side of face.
Hopefully these will not leave permanent scarring.
Went for a spa day with a few mini treatments. It was lovely and the staff were all really nice. Would have been 5 stars if the robes were plus size friendly which unfortunately they were not
Great Spa Day

We went here for a birthday treat, a very relaxing day, exactly what was needed. And not too busy on a Saturday, we will definitely be coming back.
Best place to unwind! Lovely also for a getaway with your partner or friends... perfect for romantic time or date! Clean to the perfection! Restaurant with 5 stra food ! Mosty tasty! Staff wonderful and extremely helpful! We been hosted by Kate and just loved what a star! Please do not try sneak your mobile to the areas of spa! You will be asked to leave ... around the spa is beautiful forest and plenty of attractions too... I cannot recommend better place to have relax!

Staff are lovely and really try and make you welcome. We had special dietery requirements and the chef prepared delicious wholesome meals for us daily over the 3 nights we stayed there. Rosina, Adrian and Thomas (Tommy) were especially lovely and looked after us very well.
Had a lovely spa experience at Mottram today. I am surprised to read all the recent negative reviews as I found the staff both welcoming and professional and the spa facilities of a high standard and in full working order. We booked as part of a special offer deal which included lunch and overall felt it it represented good value for what we paid.
Had a lovely time, the grounds are beautiful and was nice to sit out in the sun. The lunch was okay, used to be a buffet style which was much better, fresher and healthier. The vegan poke bowl was not good at all, just cold rice in a pool of soy sauce. The pasta was nice. There are no spa facilities but enjoyed the aquarobics and the changing rooms are well kept
Very disappointing experience at the spa. We were greeted by a man at the reception whose first sentence to us was direct quote “what are you doing here?”. When we told him we have a reservation for spa, he didn’t attempt to find a reservation on his system and simply walked away leaving us very confused. He came back after few minutes and asked us to show the email confirmation. After that he asked us “what do you need” referring to the robe, flip flops etc. it was probably the worst welcome experience I ever had at any spa or hotel. We were never offered a welcome snack and/or lunch we were included in our package. We had to ask for these things and again no one was quite sure what’s going. The reception lady had to message and call her supervisor. In the end we never received lunch and waited 30 minutes to get a “healthy” snack (as stated on their website) which was a ham and cheese toasty. The service at the bar is again absolutely shocking. At one point the only serving guy who worked behind the bar walked away (after we have waited 20 minutes for our “healthy” snack) and his colleague announced that he needs to take a break as “it all Got too much for him” and the bar service will resume in the next 10 minutes …. Our toasty was ready but he just left it behind the bar and walked off. As regards to the spa itself it was extremely overcrowded. We couldn’t find a single empty lounger. 2 out of 3 saunas weren’t working resulting in the working sauna being packed. We never managed to use an outdoor heated pool because it was extremely busy at all times. Overall hugely disappointing experience and absolutely not worth the money.

We went for a spa day. It was massively overpriced. The staff were friendly but we felt as if we weren't welcome, like it was a gym with a spa attached to it, the building needs serious cleaning, the glass roof is dirty, and there are cobwebs everywhere. The food was good but we will definitely never be returning
Lovely place and service. Friendly and helpful staff always happy to assist. We've visited a few times for a Spa Day, had a wonderful time each time and will definitely be going back. No comparison with other spas (like Bannatyne for example). Highest level of service, great treatments (aqua massage, hot stone massage and face massage), and tasty lunch (mezze platter). Beautiful atmosphere, great for relaxation.
Such an amazing spa. Been for a weekend trip and now a day pass (9-5) which was just lovely. We booked no treatments but there's so many rooms , and with lunch there wasn't much time! We feel chilled and smell lovely! It's on 2 floors, with an outside lovely warm pool. So many steam rooms, relaxation rooms, sensory rooms, sauna rooms, all with different themes (blossom, salt, lava etc.).
It was mid-week so not too busy. Some rooms were full but on a second try they had room and there was plenty to do while waiting.
They give you a robe and towel, so take a costume and flip flops (although they had cheap ones on sale if you forget). There's water when you're thirsty and showers and hairdryers when you're finished.
The lunch was delicious, with our day pass we could have a panini , pasta or anti pasti sharing platter (which we chose and was delicious). Also had a breakfast pastry and hot drink on arrival which was a nice surprise!
Obviously the setting is lovely in Center Parcs and with lots of parking.
I haven't been to many spas but this is the best one, highly recommended.
I've never done a Spa day before so it was all a new experience for me. I decided for my 50th I'd go for it. Well what can I say other than why have I not done this before !!! I LOVED IT!!!!!

Disappointing. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Staff - rude, unwelcoming, poorly managed. Customer service really needs a revamp.

Facilities - moulds in the steam room and jacuzzi. Lovely decor in the welcome area and coffee room though.

Rooms - nice decor, but the most uncomfortable beds. Rock hard beds and don’t even get me started on the filthy bathrooms.

Restaurant - awful food made with cheap ingredients which probably explains why the food packages are cheap. Wouldn’t mind paying more if the food was actually nice. Manager at the restaurant was rude which also explains why the staff weren’t very good. It seems like the badly managed culture is passed from top down. We ate there 3x during our stay as this was included in the package and not once did anybody ask how we found our food etc and each meal was as disappointing as before.

Shower rooms and toilets in the spa changing rooms are filthy with diarrhoea marks on the toilets and mould and mildew in the showers.

Communication lacked throughout. Between staff and to customers.

By far the worst ‘spa break’ I’ve ever experienced. But I guess we got what we paid for. I would find this below average even if I didn’t have any expectations.

My friend brought me here today for my birthday - had an amazing body scrub, foam massage, hair treatment and facial from Veronica. The premises are very clean, a proper Aladdins cave once your inside all the staff are super friendly and it ended with a complimentary Turkish tea to drink. We will definitely be coming back 👍

If you're searching for an affordable getaway just to take some nice pictures for your Instagram feed and pretending you're in the countryside club, this place fits the bill.

However, if your goal is to enjoy quality time with family, friends, or partner, I would strongly advise against choosing this location. It's highly likely you'll end up frustrated with whoever made the decision to book here, as the entire experience falls short.

The enticing pool, garden, and room photos might deceive you, but don't be fooled.

I can't fault the staff; they appear dedicated and hardworking. Instead, it seems that the management team is falling short in terms of providing proper training and guidance.

To give you an idea of how disappointing it was, let me share an example. I ordered a mozzarella tomato salad twice. On the first night, there was no mozzarella, and on the second night, they substituted feta cheese without even informing me. It makes you wonder if they can't get a simple salad right, what else can they do right? Also, you might ask why would you order the same salad twice - well, the size of other starters are tiny.

This experience with the salad serves as a microcosm of the entire stay! Stay away from this place!
Aqua Sana spa in Woburn is a lovely experience that is slightly let down by lack of room diversity. It boasts a huge 25 spa rooms, but many of them are copies with different scents, such as 3 saunas, 3 steam rooms and so on.

There were 4 experiences we really liked, including foot spa pods, the outdoor pool with jacuzzi. Also they have wonderfully comfortable outdoor furniture and sleeping rooms that were fantastic.

Our favourite spa room wasn't featured, which is heated lounge seats. If you've not experienced these they are beyond luxury. They have many loungers in rooms but while the room is heated the seats themselves were not. I'd have happily traded many of the rooms for that experience.

As for the staff, we went for the day experience and we were warmly welcomed by Mags and as it was my birthday Julie in the restaurant decorated our table during lunch and offered us a lovely slice of cake. Much appreciated, and the food was good too 8/10.

So in conclusion, very glad we went. I'd say while is a touch pricey it was a good experience. I'd say my favourite spa in the UK is Thermae Spa in Bath. Great value as it is naturally heated.

Had the most amazing time at this spa, we had a gorgeous room with a giant bath! The breakfast brought to the bedroom in the morning was a nice touch and we enjoyed it on our balcony. The spa has so many different steam rooms/saunas to go in, you could spend a full day here and it not be enough!
Spa was fantastic. Staff friendly. Had a meal in restaurant. Food was excellent. Just a shame about the service. Very slow. Ordered dessert. Took 25mins just for ice cream. There were plenty of staff and it wasn't busy as it was early. Will return.
Best back massage! I’ve had a lot of back massages in the past due to tense shoulders and this was by far the best massage (better than some high end hotels in central London). Kayleigh was a true master of her craft - she applied the perfect amount of pressure and worked really hard to get all the tension out. Thank you! The whole experience was wonderful. I’ve also had a facial and mini pedi at the spa and all were fab. I would thoroughly recommend.
Went to the Day Spa on a day package. Driving in had to get out of the car and speak into intercom to get someone to raise the barrier, luckily it wasn't raining! A bit confusing was how to get through the hotel to find the spa. The check in was informative but left trying to remember all that was said! Then again trying to find where everything is. After that things got much better, had a lovely welcome breakfast outside on the terrace. Huge spa with lots of different themes. The pool water was delughtfully warm and went outside with lots of water jets. Lunch was very nice there was a good choice and the service was excellent had a nail treatment booked, and my friend had the hot stone massage we both loved our treatments they weren't rushed and the beauticians were friendly and professional. There was one of the themed rooms not working. Found the whole experience wonderful, we both really enjoyed our day
We are frequent visitors to Center Parcs but this is the first time we have stayed at Aqua Sana. It was simply magical. My partner and I went for our babymoon and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a glass of bubbles and then shown around. The spa itself it amazing. So much choice and all the different experiences and rooms are incredible. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our suite was great too, with fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. It is fully equipped with two TVs, aircon and an amazing, powerful shower. We think it is pretty good value too considering lunch, breakfast, 2 treatments AND a meal voucher are included in the price. Our included treatments were great and lasted an hour. The only downside is that now we cannot go to any other spa as it won’t compare! Just means we will have to go back!
The atmosphere is lovely, and really nicely decorated. The hot stone massage was really relaxing. I just went for the one treatment, but I'd love to come for a full day next time.
Wife and I had a full day at Y Spa in Wyboston today, and I added a full body massage, the wife had a facial.
Thoroughly relaxing, the staff couldn't be more helpful. Two saunas, two steam rooms, hydrotherapy pool, chill out rooms, great lunch. Worth a visit!
Lovely Wellness Wednesday afternoon beautiful venue relaxed comfortable great service & welcome from staff, remember your flip flops the poolside floor is very hot in the sun. Lots of different rooms to choose from. Complimentary mocktails fruit teas water. Clean comfortable changing rooms with good facilities.
I attended for Yoga retreat recently and was very impressed, mainly it was the staff who made it , everyone was friendly, professional, genuinely helpful and looked like they were all enjoying themselves. Particular mention to Jay, Adriana, Mark and Lewis. Also, Hannah in the Spa was such a beautiful person with a lot of skill, not only professionally, but in her communication skills too. The yoga exceeded my expectations and I would love to return if Nikita is going to run another retreat. The place was beautiful, well maintained, clean and stylish. Very happy.
Whilst at Center Parcs, Woburn, my wife paid £65 per person for the Aqua Sana.

This was absolutely amazing, the place was fantastic, it had such a large choice of different rooms to use & pools.

The staff were lovely & it was so clean.
We had all kinds of different experiences throughout the visit & was not rushed. In fact, we actually stayed for about 4 hours & made use of all the facilities.

The saunas were so warm, leaving us feeling lovely & refreshed afterwards.
I would certainly say that this is one of the best spas that we have ever visited.
I have recently reached the grand old age of 80 and my relatives sent me a £350 voucher for Mottram Hall. I live in Stockport and I thought of visiting Mottram Hall and getting some good information what I can get for £350. As I don't drive I went by train to Prestbury and walked the rest of the way, I wasn't prepared for a pedestrian unfriendly road, I walked across various fields for part of the way, it think it was 2M. As I reached the Hall they couldn't really help me. I don't think it was their fault, I believe you are all totally paperless and being oldfashioned I was hoping to get something in print. So, I didn't really get much information but was given the Central Reservation telephone number to call them when I have decided what to book. I was told that the prices vary a lot from day to day. So, I walked back to Prestbury station and caught the train back to Stockport. Michelle Helps from Stockport
I spent a very relaxing morning at Y Spa, including a treatment and lunch. This is not a very large spa but in many ways that's a good thing. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the location is clean and well maintained. Most importantly for me, the spa was gentleman-friendly, with about 25% of the guests during my visit being men. Highly recommended.
Love this place, they offer some amazing treatments. I’m a regular, have had many different treatments which has massively improved my confidence and feel and look so much more youthful. Ruth and Tony are fab people too 👍 definitely recommend booking in some treatments 😊
Worst lashes iv ever had in my life....
Asked for volume Russians but just got normal lashes, my eyes got glued together so the girl had to use remover which resulted in some lashes coming out. I didn't get charged and got told to come back the next day and she would fix them.
I wasn't able to go the next day as I was ill and by day 2 most of the lashes on that eye fell out, upon calling and speaking to the owner with regards to my disappointment I got told very rudely I didn't get charged so shouldn't be complaining.
I wasted two and a half hours getting lashes that didn't last 2 days, not getting charged doesn't mean the owner can be rude.
The girl who does the lashes Wali is really sweet but needs more training as she is really slow and needs to improve her technique. They charge £75 for Lashes that I wouldn't pay £20 for.
I got told to come back and they would fix them but I refused on the basis of the owner being so rude on the phone.
Iv attached a pic of my lashes on day 3
all the 5 star reviews are for the massages so you should stick to offering what you are good at Massages!

I booked online and paid the obligatory deposit.

I received a phone call shortly before the appointment asking me to move the booking an hour late. Fine: Things happen.

I arrived just before the updated appointment time and waited for an hour while they searched for the person who was supposed to cut my hair. Again, fine. Well, not really, but things happen. This hour was punctuated by the owner repeatedly telling me how stressed she was, and almost having a domestic with one of her hairdressers. I feel for anyone who's having a bad day at work, but making it your customer's problem isn't great practice.

After an hour of this I needed to go back to work - I just couldn't justify waiting any longer. What should have happened at this point - the basic, most simple thing in terms of customer service - is to have been offered my deposit back. This didn't happen. Not great, but fine, whatever: people can be forgetful under pressure.

So I asked for my deposit back. I was told I'd have to phone up the next day. Not at all great. Alarm bells started to ring, but ok, I played the game.

I phoned up the following day, as instructed. It took five attempts before anyone answered and they said they wouldn't be able to do anything until Monday. Considerably not OK: why ask me to call for a refund at a time when it's not possible to process a refund?

I have instead lodged a claim via PayPal who have already closed my case and actioned a refund due to my having not received the service it was sent in part-payment for.

Absolutely shocking customer service. I should have been offered my deposit back immediately, but instead they dragged their feet and fobbed me off twice. I see I'm not the only person to have left feedback on this theme. There's no way I'll be booking another appointment here.
Our favourite home from home, an annual pilgrimage in August for us (when going Twinwood Festival in Bedford) and so lovely with the lake and its pastoral setting around the golf course. Do opt for the deluxe rooms in Oceania building, they are superlative and much better than the rooms in the Atlantis building.
These rooms have all the mod cons, Bluetooth and screen mirroring with a stocked mini bar replenished daily (beer, wine, water, crisps, chocolate). The top floor in the Oceania building is best.
We love seeing the lovely server Anna at breakfast every year, and on our last visit Hayley and Imogen at the front desk made our 6 night stay extra special. Well done ladies!
Lovely customer service overall across all outlets, dinner offerings worthwhile and do not forget to book your YSpa visit well in advance. One of the nicest spa spaces to visit and recharge in.
Firstly after reading some reviews I was hesitant, however it really was quite good... so pleasantly surprised.

THE SPA:
The spa was nice, big enough with different pools , saunas etc.. and a nice outdoor area with loungers etc.. it was a relaxing environment...imagine it gets busy at the weekend however. You can join classes for a small fee and enjoy a three course lunch, dinner allowance and breakfast!

Although some things were closed for repair, again these things happen..more than enough open for use.

THE TREATMENTS:
Although good, they have a higher price than most..I don't think it's essential to get a treatment...just enjoy the spa.

THE HOTEL:
Our room was ok, as expected really. All you need, a little dated but Champneys had been around for a while. The doors do slam so bring ear plugs.

THE FOOD:
The food was really nice and displayed elegantly and all the staff seemed great and look ..mistakes happen, orders sometimes can be missed in a busy kitchen, that's just life!

I think the main reason for the bad reviews are possibly they arrive with an unrealistic expectation for the price? It is expensive but it's a big hotel and lots of people to attend to, golfers, corporate and weddings. Check in can be busy as only a small space.

My main if only real criticism of the spa area was that although it opens early at 7.00am when we came the day after around 9.30am there were still empty drinks and glasses from the night before. I would have expected to arrive to a clean spa before it opened.

Would definitely come again!

The receptionist was all smiles and very friendly. The 1 lady responsible for doing the treatments on the 4 customers there (during my visit) was good. However, everything felt rushed, there's no privacy where the 'bathing' is done (it's a mixed spa too) and some of the poor facilities take away from what should be a relaxing, refreshing experience.

No changing rooms, just 1 tiny locker cupboard for everyone to change in one at a time, a small steam room (any more than 3 people feels too much) and a tearoom/chill room with none of the refreshments supposedly included with the spa deals. A mere pinky cup size mint tea and a plate of Turkish delights that had been sat there for some time.

Polite staff but the lack of cleanliness, no privacy, inadequate facilities, etc., really let this place down. My friend and I would not book again.
Best HiFu Treatment by Ruth today she was “Amazing”. Professional, Friendly & certainly knows what she is doing. Very confident & comfortable knowing she has so much experience & actually loves what she does. She talked through what & where she was doing which I thought was good. ALSO “Thank You” to Tony. Well worth the wait. I would certainly recommend.

Natalie and the team provided an amazing service for my wedding hair and make up. In the trials for me and my bridesmaid, they were extremely helpful and patient and really helped us to work out what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, they had a very calming presence while getting us ready. The end results were absolutely fabulous - I am so pleased I found them! I would definitely recommend!
Had 4D BODY SCULPTING with Nicole and it was AMAZING. such a great treatment and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and get the best out of my treatment. her knowledge was FANTASTIC. I 100% recommend everyone to go here. so professional kind caring and quality service. I'm going to book again in a few weeks too. FABULOUS
