Rude staff. Claims to be ‘dog friendly’ most certainly is not. My first time here and will not be returning.

Really cute hidden place in Clifton. Great atmosphere very quirky and had amazing service waiter was very enthusiastic and friendly. The food was all delicious particularly recommend the risotto and the trio of dips, but all was great!

Im a chef and this place is 10/10. The food is amazing. Service is brilliant and friendly. Decor is fun and refreshing. Manager was lovely and gave really good information on how carefully and refined the food is sourced.
Great pub. We were staying nearby for the night, read there was tapas and took a wonder up to check it out.
Beer is sublime, best pint of ale I've had in a while. Yes the tapas portions are big, but very nice, so no complaints for us!
Beer garden has some awesome views and the sunset was amazing. If we are ever back this way we will come again.

We've been here a few times now. Lovely food. It's sad to see the outside booths gone. It just added a little extra for us. Great service, a little quiet in there, but it was early.
Barrafina is my go-to for a weekend treat or perfect date - and it never disappoints me! Always enjoy the casual vibes and refine yet authentic Spanish dishes (not always tapas though). Will be back again for sure.
I must admit that I'm a huge fan of the Barrafina brand. No matter which one I visit, it's always a great gastronomic experience. But I must say that I have a special fondness for the one in Adelaide.

We walked in without a booking (not recommended) but only had to wait ten minutes at the bar before we got a seat.
Our waitress was helpful and efficient. Even when my colleague spilt sauce down his shirt and she produced spray and clothes to help ease the staining.
The food was immense. The chorizo and iberico stood out but the whole thing was delicious. If you like tapas you can’t go wrong. We also had gambas (prawns), squid, chicken, potato bravas and padrons.
We drank beer and ate mainly in silence because the food was so good. Just the sounds of enjoyment as we tasted mouthful after mouthful of tasty tapas.
Highly recommend. I’ve been before and will go again. 5/5 last night. Honestly.

Once again I have bought my lovely girlfriend on another date in bristol, this time I let her choose and to my pleasure she chose new moon.
What can I say, food 10/10, drinks 10/10 and staff 10/10. The waiter on the night seemed to be handling everything to a high degree, even though he was the only floor staff of the night. He made excellent recommendations for after meal drinks, as-well as making us off menu cocktails which he got bang on. It’s crazy how much a connection with a waiter can enhance your experience.

Lovely atmosphere unfortunately food wasn't as great! We ordered fish and liver and paid £18 for tiny plate. Bit overpriced! It was 2 of us and food came 20 min apart. Waiter was saying that is different food and cooking time is differ.

We tried fried aubergines, patatas and lamb chops. We liked Lamb chops but the rest were kinda bland for our tastebuds. But the environment and service was perfect.
Overall a good but slightly disappointing meal. Some elements were excellent - the bread and aeolis were amazing - we ordered extra - and the pani puris with buratta was phenomenal. I didn't love the ceviche, but I think that was a matter of personal taste rather than poor craftsmanship. The scallops were good, but I thought it was a great shame that it was in such heavy flavors - scallops are delicious, you don't need to hide them. The blackened pork was the lowlight of the meal for me. It tasted like nothing but char and smoke. The texture was great, but the flavor was unbearable and the aftertaste was worse. I'd be curious to try their paellas- I sort of think we ordered the wrong things.
My experience at Arros QD was incredible. I knew it was amazing, however, it was above my expectations. Both Atti and Chiara went above and beyond and delivered the best service possible. Filip’s drinks were amazing too! We will be back soon! Thank you Team!
We are visiting Clifton and found this tapas bar on Google and as we walked past it looked inviting. The menu was very impressive, and the quality of the dishes was excellent. We were sad when the meal was over! The one man show serving was also brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine, some great options at reasonable prices and the bottle that we tried was so special and we have saved the name of it to see if we can order some at home (Hungarian Red). We also had a desert wine which was lovely and a generous portion. We brought our dog who was welcomed (though he is small and well behaved).

2nd time of visiting. Last time was lovely and it's always a worry when you go back wondering if it will be as good as the last time. Well they didn't disappoint. The food was exceptional. We ordered aubergine rolls with goats cheese and walnut mousse, it was so so good we ordered it again. We had 7 dishes and a dessert each and drinks and the bill at the end was good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Staff were really rude. We asked to sit inside rather than out and the waitress rolled her eyes and made a patronising comment. It’s a shame because the food was really good but it looks like I’m not the only customer who has had this experience
Right around the entrance of Borough market. This tapas place is busy on a weekend night. However, the waiting time was very manageable. we had a drik at the bar, the inside table was ready.

Staff were friendly but they forgot 2 things we ordered. It's a tapas restaurant so it should be pretty common that people order many dishes but we needed to ask twice unfortunately. It'll be better if the waiter can ask us if everything is okay so we don't need to frustrate to call someone.

I came to Arros QD with a generous friend of mine who likes to treat me to nice, pricey restaurants. Arros, essentially a posh paella place, was a befitting suggestion by my friend, especially as I had just come back from Spain and wanted the Mediterranean vibe to linger on a little longer.
Arroz (Rice in Spanish) stands out more for its extravagant interiors than its food – our server pointed out that the design is intended to resemble a burning pan: coal-black walls with reddish/orange flame-like tones. It was almost as if we were sitting in hell or a frying pan, though, luckily, the experience was far from hellish.
We tried two of its paellas, the Mediterranean and the seafood, and enjoyed them both.
Having said that, I cannot imagine them being more special or tastier than a regular paella that you can get at a local Valencian restaurant.
The Olavidia cheese, chosen as the world's best cheese in 2021, was a good starter. The Basque blue cheesecake was dominated by the taste of blue cheese, which some people might prefer, but not me.
The staff here are really friendly and provide plenty of opportunities for a hispanophile like myself to practice my linguistic skills.
They also catered to my lemon obsession by serving me lemon slices in a lemon/mermaid dish, to which I got briefly attached.

Went there with office colleagues for lunch. On entering was amazed by the open kitchen which had huge burners and flames were on and looked mesmerising.
Sat down and ordered a few options of the paella to share among us and was not at all disappointed with any one of them. Black Ink rice was surprisingly the best one of the lot.
Paired with white wine, the paella was amazing.
Overall the experience and food were amazing. A lunch well spent.

We ordered a started of pastry-like crepe with lamb minced on the inside. It was seasoned okay, with yogurt sauce and mint for dipping. Pistachio sprinkles are spread over the top of the dish.
The paella was chicken thighs and rabbit legs. It was okay i guess. Nothing to special about the warm dishes.
For desserts we ordered warm chocolate cake and almond cloud cake. Both are quite horrible in terms of texture and seasoning. As a person who baked, i can tell that the cakes are not baked well. It was so obvious because there are even cracks on the edges. They showed me how disrespectful the restaurant was to its customers because those failing desserts shouldn’t have been served to its customers.
Lastly, the waiters weren’t so friendly.

We had a table for 6 in the basement where there are just a few table seating. Most seating and more popular areas were on stools at the bar, but it does not work with a group of 6. This was a first time experience at Barrafina, and the whole group thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Service was very attentive as well, topping glass when required. Standard menu and daily specials board. Server happy to explain dishes. Servings are small and for sharing, so for a group, a greater number of dishes are required. We ordered 12 dishes and two bottles of red. Unisex toilets in the basement.

Whilst the traditional Spanish Tapas was absolutely delicious, my friend (who has a severe nut allergy) and I were both shocked at the serious risk at which this restaurant is placing its customers when it comes to lack of care regarding food allergies.
Neither upon arrival nor before ordering did our waiter ask us about any allergies and the printed menu here does not state any allergen information next to the dishes.
As a result of these failures, having ordered the Chicken Thighs With Romesco Sauce, we only realised it contained nuts when the plate arrived (which we had to send back of course due to my friend's serious nut allergy).
Whilst the lovely female manager immediately offered us a replacement and looked after us like VIPs we both expressed serious concerns about the lack of visible allergen information and the "near miss" we experienced.
My recommendations to the BRINDISA management are as follows:

One of the best tapas bars in London. Prawns in Garlic and Goats cheese with honey are our absolute favourites. Delicious 😋

I very much like the style of food and concept, but I find most dishes are lacking. Every time I go , we struggle to fit the plates on the table. Some tables are not suitable for 4 people. It's not an enjoyable experience.

Had lunch here yesterday for a family Birthday, which we had had booked for some time. The food and the service were extremely disappointing. All the meals did not come out at the same time. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for each drink round. The Sunday dinner did not taste great, neither did the desserts. I would not recommend. Very disappointing.
I didn't expect much from the restaurant and went more out of convenience as a guest in the hotel. I initially went to the bar and was invited through to the restaurant by the barman. The restaurant had a nice ambience with chatty large tables on one side and solo diners on the other.

Wow, we had the lunch tapas deal - it was amazing.
The food was delicious, with really generous portions.

Been meaning to try Barrafina for a few years now and finally did. Although the original and most hyped location is the one in Soho, this did not disappoint. We were going to celebrate a birthday and therefore had to make a table booking which is downstairs, away from the main bar upstairs which is only walk ins. The vibe downstairs is pretty dead but seating is comfortable. Overall, staff was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was great with little wait time in between. Food was very enjoyable and pretty good quality. Would definitely recommend and come back.

We had a pleasant dinner experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming. The cocktails were a delicious start to the evening. The pulled pork tacos and atlantic squid appetizers were tasty, while the Mediterranean rice stood out as a commendable recommendation. However, the appetizer with artichokes and the crab salad fell short of expectations, and It didn't quite match the excellence of the other dishes. Overall, it was a positive dining experience, and we appreciate the attentive service. Thank you.
We popped in for dinner before a show with friends. The food was not great, I have had much better tapas elsewhere. I feel as though the food was imitating Spanish tapas and the quality of food could be better. This restaurant is aimed more at the tourists I think. If you have never had authentic tapas you may enjoy it but if you have something to compare it to it doesn’t really stand up.

WATCH YOUR BILL. We have been going there for years. We just discovered that they have been overcharging us for years. They put 10% service charge on the whole amount, BEFORE any cancelled dishes or corrections. The cancellations / corrections only come after the whole amount + 10% service charge. The waitress told us she only charges 1 bread £3.85 of a table of 3 people and any refill, but we were charged £3.85 per head! When I went back with the overcharged bill, she told me it was the machine. Not a good feeling after going for years.
Had the most wonderful roast dinner today. Home made yorkshire puddings, fantastically cooked beef and lashings of gravy. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Their tapas menu is also fantastic. Would highly recommend
I am giving this restaurant one star. Most of the food was nice... But I was served a mushroom dish that was tough as a boot. I couldn't even get a knife through it. I complained and it was taken away and nothing more was said. No replacement, no apology, no adjustment to the bill. I was in a group and didn't want to spoil the occasion by escalating the complaint at the time. To add insult to injury the restaurant automatically added 10% service charge to the bill. So paid extra for poor service. Nice restaurant but poor show on this occasion
Wow. Only basque restaurant I’ve been to in london and tasted pretty legit. Gildas and basque cheesecake was just spot on. The wagyu with foie gras was also v yum.
Tortilla was also super yum. I would not order turbot - it was not the only fish and two tiny bits.

Food is very authentic - I ordered the prawns, tomato bread and croquettes. It was all excellent, but the croquettes were the winning dish! The atmosphere is lovely, warm lighting and good music. Service is good, but quite slow. Will be back!
Despite the friendly and efficient staff, the restaurant's worn appearance mirrors the lackluster quality of its dishes. Unpleasant odours from the toilets further detracted from the atmosphere. The highlight was the tasteless alioli accompanying the chicken cutlets, with an odd aftertaste, and the expired soft drinks.
Misleading name/ menu is different to what is shown online. Very poor food (worst i have had for a long time) The only positive was good service by Basanti.

This was so good I came back twice… reminds me of my time in Spain. Beautiful cooking, attentive service, just a gem of a restaurant chain in London serving classic and inventive dishes and tapas. Overall completely satisfied and happy with the price point as well.

Found this place randomly on Google maps and thought I'd give it a try with a visiting friend. It was a really excellent experience from start to finish. It's a small restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere inside - quirky chic decor, dimmed lighting and 'smart cocktail bar' music playing in the background. The waiter was so friendly in a natural way, and really looked after us during the meal (water refilled without having to ask kind of service). The food was superb, our favourites being the coconut chicken, king prawns, the pea risotto, and the aubergine goats cheese rolls. In truth there wasn't one dish that we had that wasn't delicious, only that the calamari was a tiny bit chewy. Chose three dishes and that was enough to have us just full. For dessert I had the crepe Suzette and again this was so tasty. The price was about £40 per head which I think was reasonable (service included). Overall a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning.

Not sure what to expect for Spanish tapas in London, but the experience I had at @barrafinalondon was above and beyond!

We were staying locally but the menu in the hotel didn't appeal to us, hence we found ourselves in the Bulls Head and it was an excellent experience from the moment we entered the door to when we left. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout the evening, the food was delicious - the best white bait I've ever had and the burger was also exceptional. The facilities were also clean and well maintained. Another big bonus is that it's 'dog friendly'. We were so impressed we popped in the following day for refreshments before travelling home. Thank you to Nathan and Ian for their excellent service.
We made a reservation 6 weeks beforehand, they make you pay a 50 pond deposit. When we arrived (perfectly on time), they just told us they were full and we had to go. No further explantion. So we had nowhere to go with a group of 5 people on a Saturday night. Terrible service

However, it was a bit disappointing that they did not serve bread with the meal, and it had to be ordered separately.
The staff was a mixed bag - some of them were attentive and provided good service, while others seemed to have difficulty understanding our requests. The overall service was slow, and it took quite a while for our orders to arrive at the table.
One issue we encountered was with the restaurant's cups. They had small cracks on the top the cup, and even after requesting a replacement, the new cup also had cracks. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to address this issue.

The food and cocktails were all delicious. My main criticism is that the food really came out slowly. I understand with tapas it comes as it’s ready rather than altogether, but we never had more than one dish at a time. We would finish one dish, and then wait and wait for the next one.
The service, quality of the food, and quantity of food is absolutely embarrassing for the prices that you pay. None of the food was anything special or particularly delicious. All tasted like dishes you could get for very cheap in America, and I found the tomato salad very salty. We ordered 6 tapas in total to find that they were all composed of simple parts and tiny portions. You pay for the presentation and the fancy names on the menu.
The other reviews mention outstanding service -- we did not experience that at all. Food was great, service was quick. Only downside we would say is the atmosphere is very noisy and a lot of people standing around, almost felt as though there was too much staff? But overall experience and food was good 👏🏻 Especially the pork belly and dessert.
Incredibly delicious food, perfect for sharing. We had all the veggie options plus a fish and pork dish, everything was superb. Service was also fantastic, everyone was so friendly. I'd love to come back again soon
The Seafood & Chicken Paella and the Sangria were delicious. I would have to go and try the tapas as I am pretty sure that it would be equally good. Reasonable and good spanish food!
The sourdough was so-so; olive oil didn’t have many layers of taste. The seafood croquetas was quite good; it had balance between the sauce on too and the croquetas itself. Beef was okay.

I would say it is not standard Spanish tapas. I was very disappointed as I was expecting more than this from reviews and recommendations. Gambas al ajillo were tasty and probably the most similar to our spanish dish. Croquetas manchegas were tasty but so small and atypical. Typical is with chicken or ham and some onion. Patatas bravas were adapted for British people. It did not have salsa brava. Alioli was good, spot on. Huevos rotos ok but ham added underneath had a piece of plastic and not very small. Calamares a la romana were fine but, where was the piece of lemon? Service wasn’t impressive either, not even a small conversation (we Spanish are quite chatty and friendly). Drinks were really good. Place did not resembled my country. Some bull, hanging veggies and music but no more. Don’t know. I was expecting to have a full experience. Prices were high for the amount of food. I understand it is London but…

Nice restaurant near Hyde park, we order prawns, beef, tomatoes and other small dishes, all of them taste just right. Service is excellent as well, we take a seat before the chef, and can see they prepare our dishes with every detail cared. Recommend this restaurant to everybody, remember to book in advance, we come without booking only to get a seat with time limit.
Food wasn't properly cooked. If you want Spanish food do not go to this restaurant. Service is poor as the waitress didn't feel like working and was doing stuff around the bar to avoid serving customers.
And the price was just outrageous.

We booked a table downstairs in the vault and it was an all round exquisite experience. The server was perfect, so attentive, but not overly, very fun and so helpful. The ambience was perfect and the food was knock-out. I'm definitely going to book this again for a lunchtime party. Best day out for a long time. Thank you Bar 44!

LOVED everything about Donostia. The staff are simply wonderful - they do more than serve you - they genuinely look after you. The food is SPECTACULAR … we ordered the pulpo, black rice with monkfish, tomato salad, salted peppers, and the all the little tasters we could … and every single dish was just mouth watering. I could eat there weekly with ease and never tire of it. Wines are beautiful and so reasonable for the quality.
This gets 10/10 from someone who’s lived in Spain and is a major foodie! You’ll regret not coming here if you’re thinking about Donastia versus XYZ someplace else 🍷😊👏

First time trying some tapas and I sadly it just wasn’t suited to my taste. The croquettes and meatballs were really good but the prawns didn’t have much garlic taste to it. The paella however was to die for! It was so good I couldn’t get enough of it. Would come back just for the paella. Servers were really nice too
Tried New Moon for the first time this evening with my partner, food was some of the best tasting tapas I’ve eaten in Bristol, especially the chorizo! Cocktails were amazing too. It was very busy but the staff still made us feel very welcome and were very funny the atmosphere is very chilled and quirky! Loved it!! Thanks to Sergio for the laughs too!! Will be back over the harbour festival!!
Delicious Spanish food! We tried the prawns which were delicious saunteed, the tomatoes which were plump and bursting in juices and flavour, as well as the pork which were absolutely delicious. We were also tempted with Basque style cheesecake for dessert, which was rich and creamy and definitely satisfied our souls. I highly recommend the cheesecake. The service was also excellent. Will be back again!
There were two standout dishes at Bar 44. The Sobrasada Ibérica with rosemary honey. Salty, sweet and smokey and the Olavidia cheese with flatbread and chutney. These were a delightful way to start the meal. The remaining dishes all had something I would add or change. The padrón peppers needed some flaky salt, a higher ratio of jamon in the croquetas, finer crumb on the scallops and a chunkier salad to balance out the smokiness of the duck patty. The pork belly was extremely dry and the fat chewy. Overall, we enjoyed our meal but think some minor adjustments could make the food great.
The range of drinks on offer is fantastic, as a vermouth lover I was pleased to see such a range on offer - especially the rojo on tap.

Beyond our expectations and delicious. Love the bread!!! It was very delicious. Highly recommend the fried aubergines with goat cheese. The check peas one was good too. We were 4 people shared and no drinks, £19/pp. quite a fair price. Would like to try its brunch menu next time!

As a Spanish woman lover of the Spanish gastronomy I am not a fan of visiting tapas restaurants outside the country as the food is usually adapt to the country's ways of cooking. But I have to say that here I was impressed. The jamón wasn't only delicious, but very well cut; the croquettes were fully charged of Iberian flavour and the tortilla with sobrasada was simply delicious and onion free (as it should be 😉). The only thing we order out of the traditional tapa's scheme was the duck burger and it was lush. Great drinks menu, staff friendly, helpful and patient (believe, they are great). A place to go is you want to try a bit of Spain (although the prices are not so Spanish).

A bit overpriced for what it is. I can have more or less the same for half of the price in other restaurants. The service is good, the place is a bit small so if you go in a pick time you’ll have to queue for a long period. Food is okay

Excellent restaurant, they manage to creatively blend Spanish and British cuisine. Pan con tomate was amazing! Cheesy cauliflower was incredible so was the picanha from the roast! Service was great so was the environment! Totally recommend, I will definitely be coming back!

Very nice place, food was absolutely amazing, local beer and really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Beautiful scenery around the pub. Recommend to anyone.
The food is excellent and the staff is usually kind. However, the breakfast time is annoying. The breakfast is excellent, but the waiters are not available or if you see them, they are annoyed. I had to wait for my coffee around 15 minutes, and when I asked for my second coffee, they told me to come back later. All in all, for lunch and dinner this place is excellent, but it you want to have a coffee in the morning...it can be annoying.
Excellent food and service. Request for a gluten free meal was met with the response that "as we make most things from scratch, the isn't usually a problem." We both ordered the Slow Cooked beef blade and it was tender, well presented and a joy to eat. The gluten-free cheese-cake (a rarity) followed and was extremely light and the biscuit underneath not at all stodgy. Wine by the glass is expensive, but the wine is good.
