Had a 45 minute trial flight in a 4 seater aircraft bought for me for my 60th birthday.
Wonderful experience - the staff at Earls Colne were friendly, welcoming and keen to put me and my best friend (who was my guest for the flight) at ease. Paul Connell was an excellent pilot and the mix of instruction, me controlling the aircraft and ability to enjoy the views was spot on. Thanks to all at AFC - a great experience

Such a great space! Love the building, very higgledy-piggledy. Main hall is the perfect size with plenty of space for all. Projector screen and monitors for all-round viewing. Very impressive!
I was lucky to look around here in about 1989,very interesting items on show.the stories we were told regarding the crimes/murders etc brilliant.
Annabelle and Tinkerbell made Me, my partner and Mr Pickles 🐾 feel very welcome, excellent tuition by a true professional both on the ground and in the air, I will certainly be back. THANK YOU!!
Very bad that this place is shut of the public or even paying guests. Absolute joke considering one the very few letter written by Jack the Ripper is stored in here. This place needs to open up for the public!!
Absolutely phenomenal experience and and I cannot stop thinking about pursuing pilot school. Had a surprise trial session booked with their instructor Paul for my 25th Birthday and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly, the flight was amazing and I had the opportunity to take the controls, Paul was funny and a great pilot. Could not recommend more!!! Thank you AFC and see you soon :)
I'm a PPL and was on holiday in the area. Booked an hour in a Robin R200. The staff at the flying school were very friendly and helpful. The flight itself was extremely enjoyable. Deborah, the instructor, was very knowledgeable about the area and found us a really interesting route. All in all, a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Strongly recommended.
Ridiculous that they would shut off crime history to the UK Public and make it only available to police. Disgraceful.

Great Airfield very nice staff.
Visited for a 30 minute flight experience, it was thoroughly enjoyable, took a flight over the local area picking out many landmarks...the instructor/pilot (Richard) was a really pleasant, informative and extremely easy to get on with...highly recommended for anyone looking for rhis type of experience 😊
DO NOT USE this provider they lie through there teeth and promise you jobs that only exist, 1 star is too much AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

We held a golden wedding anniversary party here with a band and dancing. The hall was perfect and Amanda, Sandra and the team were very helpful and efficient. A good experience.

I visited 2 other schools before deciding Earls Colne was the best place to teach me how to fly.
Significant recent investment has been made to make this a focussed training school for budding pilots like myself.
With my first flight in April 22 and my PPL being awarded in July they have been nothing short of superb.
A hugely experienced team of instructors, excellently maintained and handling Aircraft, with the most friendly atmosphere, and welcoming helpful ground crew.
The fully online ground school material is superb, light and easy to digest with a huge bank of practice questions ensuring readiness for the exams and first time passes.
Bookings are easily made using the excellent online booking system.
The Robin HR200 is a pleasure to fly, a very stable, benign, yet responsive aircraft.
And all for an incredibly reasonable price (I hope my wife is reading).
The mission of these guys is to get you flying in a safe and enjoyable way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Was class, an awesome experience to fly a plane, I was sh×ting myself at the start because I was scared of flipping the plane but I got the hang of it and was really enjoying myself - cars and houses look like plastic toys haha.

I have been a member of Oxfordshire Sport Flying (OSF) for 9 years, completing my PPL with them. From the moment we picked up the phone to enquire about hiring the space to us driving away on Saturday 26th Sep just after the wedding, both Sandra and Lynn have both been absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The team at WF Community hub helped us to problem solve throughout with the lockdown restrictions and what we really appreciated was their open and honest communication with us about what was and wasn't possible due to covid restrictions, plus their eye for the detail and going out of their way to help us out with things like the chair covers.
We had a fab time with the handful of family that came to witness our nuptials. We can't thank you enough for everything you did for us, right up until the very last moment.

Really good center to take your exams at. Emma and Aaran were very friendly and helped me get set up for my exam quick and easy.
They are lovely to speak to for a stop over after your exam. If you are Tamil, then Aaran will provide you a surprise too.

Being completely honest... the team at OSF are brilliant and so welcoming. Whether it's your first time going up in a plane or you're looking for a club to join, these are the guys to do it with. Just love the vibes they give off. Aircraft are looked after and well maintained so no worries there. I've visited a few times and plan to do so again soon! 😋
I learned to fly with the team at OSF who made the whole process fantastically enjoyable. It was quite clear that they were invested in my training from day one, understood my needs and aspirations and were not simply trying to process me through the system like I feel some of the larger schools would do.
The large hard runway, quiet airspace, modern aircraft, reasonable prices and well maintained facilities all made for a perfect environment from which to take your first steps into aviation.
If you are thinking of learning, give these guys a visit, you won't regret it!

We held our daughter’s wedding here; many people commented on how beautiful the hall looked. The extra rooms surrounding the hall were very useful, as a bar area, cloakroom etc. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially in the days before the wedding, patiently dealing with questions and planning.
Had our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was a fantastic venue, the staff were so helpful in helping us set up what we chose to be quite a DIY day and there’s plenty of room for a large or small event - highly recommended!!
I have been flying regularly at OSF since 2013, initially flying their T61 and then training for my conversion to their Diamond Dimona during 2016. I then did my SSEA rating on the Diamond DA20 during 2018 which felt a very natural progression.
The training and support that I have received from the OSF instructors over the years has been excellent, the Oxfordshire location is also a great training area with great views from the air.
I thoroughly recommend OSF for flying experiences, bi-annual checks and flying training with this friendly club.

A welcoming flying club that has an excellent standard of flight training, delivered by friendly and approachable instructors, with fantastic aircraft at reasonable prices. Oxfordshire Sport flying is the perfect environment for any aviation enthusiast. The club also has a great flying community with members from many backgrounds who all share their passion for aviation. I have been flying at club from my first flying lesson and have had so much opportunity and gained masses of knowledge, but most importantly enjoyed every minute of it. So whether you are keen to learn to fly, or looking to do some self fly hire, Oxfordshire Sport Flying is the place to go!
I was recommended OSF as the place to go to obtain my LAPAL(A) TMG and they were not wrong. The training was very professional both in the air and for the ground exams. All the instructors were excellent and the aircraft are well looked after. Also it was fun & very enjoyable with lots of exposure to cross-country navigation as well as flying. The club is friendly and welcoming and I am now looking towards obtaining my SEP.

Great venue for 60th birthday party. Special shout out for Sandra, who was amazing as a support to our planning and also - special bonus - supplied the music, singing and dj'ing for the evening.
Loved the place. A state of the art facility for students and faculty alike.
Good location for meetings and seminars.
Used New London College for an Oracle certification and the exam room was great - clean, warm and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We enjoy being part of this youth club. The WFCH youth club is very well organised with various activities, outings & opportunities that encourage older youths to serve their own local community. The leadership & staff are absolutely committed not just to give local youths a good time in a safe place but also an opportunity to feel accepted, be mentored & supported in more ways than one, amazingly, not just by the adults but equally by the older teens themselves, looking out for one another. Mental health is valued here. The club feels inclusive including for the 2 disabled teens we know there. We are thrilled to be part of their vision, & hopefully in future, when our disabled child is more able, he can do his bit to help out, sports wise.
