Food:Burger very tasty, chips from real potatoes and not oily, it was delicous.
Grillplate and aspiration extremely clean not often seen in Restaurants, staff member from this afternoon was genuine friendly and it was pleasure to talk with him. If the boss is reading, pls the dude deserves a bonus. Not everyone have the social skill to chat with costumers without been fake friendly or annoying. Congrats for your Staff!

They only give little bit of chips when you order take out ! And also they give half of a chicken wing and count it as a full wing !!! This place was never like that, it needs to be managed properly again.

i entered this establishment with the hope that it would pass my standards but it was packed i had to wait 20 full minutes until i got the food and the chips was cold and the chicken was pink absolutely horrible

Nice and friendly owner who makes you feel welcome. Forts time I had eaten there. Had haddock chips and curry sauce. Lovely and fresh and a decent sized portion too. Worth the money. Definately visit again.

Took 1.5 hours to arrive to begin with, when it’s arrived the order was wrong.

Ordered over the phone using their menu and when it arrived wrong they said that the item I ordered over the phone isn’t available over the phone after it arrived?

Not only that, the buns were stale, chips cold and chewy and then when I called to say it was wrong and that they obviously need to change their menu they said ‘no we don’t’ and then called me a nobhead.

I have ordered from them several times and have criticized them for giving me chicken with a good juiciness. And they gave me as usual the way they normally do to chicken, peri peri by the way. I feel so bad I decided I will not order from him

Food was so pathetic and totally waste of money, first time been there, had chicken donner on nan bread, naan bread was burnt on some places and undercooked on some places, donner was little in quantity and it was had and very thin , infact there was hardly meat, definitely wouldn't go ever or never refer to anyone, very very disappointed, was very hungry now regretting

I am pleasantly welcomed each and every time I step into Frydays!
I am a fan of chicken wings and find that Frydays’ servings are plentiful in terms of meat and uniquely spiced. Often having half of my portions with their BBQ wings, equally as delightful which I regularly enjoy. A fine establishment and a better alternative to anywhere else.

AVOID!! Had my order accepted on Deliveroo. Waited 40 mins to be called and told they don’t deliver to my postcode. So why accept the order? I’ve been told to cancel my order but I can’t on the app as they have said they are preparing my order. I now have to try and get in touch with Deliveroo to receive my money back. Really gutted as read good reviews about the food. Wont be trying to order in the future due to the poor service received due to their own error!!!!

Caution warning - enter new York Krispy levenshulme at your own risk and if you want to compromise your self respect and want wrong order . I had went to the shop and had ordered food for my family of over £30.00 pounds . It's not the first time I had dealt with staff wearing cap and glasses on front . He has great skills to be rude and atrocious with customer ,but this time it had went beyond comprehension.
That particular staff had made no greetings and before even taking order demanded cash . Surprisingly he did not put cash in till and took 30 pounds opened till and put it in his pockets ?? I had challenged this and he said you can leave if you don't want to order . Felt as if I had come to a foreign country then he started speaking in foreign language to other friends as if I had asked him something very unusual .
He had hurriedly in insulting way took order and said it will be 20 minutes when restaurant was not even busy . Eventually I got food and requested for sauces to which he demanded more money on order worth 30 pounds and this time card machine was working perfectly. It was absolutely degrading and unacceptable service .
Worst part is when I got home ,the same gentleman who prepared my order totally messed it up by giving less items .
I had called as I live 4 miles away and over the phone I was told I was lieing .
New York Krispy levenshulme is so far worst place I had ever been to and I have learnt lesson . I got robbed while rediculed by people who speak on front of you in foreign language to make you feel unwanted and unwelcome.

They have an amazing deal going on, offering half peri peri chicken, rice, chips and fries for 7£. This deal is a steal. The chicken is tasteful and the rice are cooked to perfection. Definitely recommended.

This is our regular, food is usually always good. Pizzas are fresh and tasty. Only issue is the price keeps going up, which is understandable due to the climate but to charge 20p for their chilli sause is a bit over the top! I asked for a bottle of their sauce and they expect you to pay £10! That's double the price of a Nandos peri peri - bonkers. Also the chicken in the burgers have drastically shrank, and the chicken wings are all one type now the not so good type 🍗.

Me and a couple of mates visited here yesterday for the first time and ordered double chicken burgers half spicy and couldn't believe how fresh and nice the food tasted. We all agreed it was the best chicken burger we have had in a long time, and highly rate the food. Will definitely be returning!

Great owners, great staff, great food. Honestly not much more to say. The meat quality is superior to most local places. If you can handle spice, go hot, as the spicy dip burgers are arguably the best in the area, since they're actually spicy. Also, one of the few places on Stockport road that takes card payments. Highly recommend. Fries are definitely the best in the area, though the red salt can overpower what is already fine.

I feel like I've become emotionally attached to this place as I had my first real meal here in the UK delivered from this place when no other restaurant was accepting cash and I hadn't opened up my bank account yet. The first bite was emotional too 😭 lol but seriously I've ordered from here at least 6 7 times now and the flavours are always bang on! Fresh tasting food always too! Really tasty!!! ordered the double spicy chicken filet burger, with Ferraro Roche milkshake, and one piece chicken.

Everything except the milkshake arrived fresh and hot (the milkshake arrived fresh and cold haha) the chips were a little on the crispy side but still good! The milkshake was absolutely amazing and delicious!!! Like a vanilla milkshake with tiny Ferraro Roche pieces

I have been through a lot of takeout places in Manchester and this place has great food and service the chicken tastes great to be honest I was expecting your run of the mill usual takeaway where the chicken is dry and doesn’t taste that good but I was pleasantly surprised when I first ate it and the pricing is actually quite cheap for the quality of the chicken

Appalling customer service. My Just Eat order was cancelled. Due to having an autistic child, I thought it would be a lot more simple to collect my order.

Initially, they refused to serve me due to apparent racism. 60 plus % of my family is of the same ethnicity! What I dislike is the fact that I apparently stated bumbaclart to them. Due to my skin colour I not only find that insulting, but racism within itself.

Then I was told that I had apparently threatened them (I'm a single female who just wanted to get my child their favourite takeaway).

I asked for the so called recording of the apparent racist/threatening phone call, Yet they were unable to provide me this.

What I was confronted with was 3 aggressive male (employees) that brought me to tears. And yes I contacted the police on my arrival home as I felt very scared after the ordeal.

Oh and I'm apparently ao racist below and you can see my child in their eid clothes.

EDIT:My previous review is like 4 years old, so I thought I'll add more info. Firstly I have been ordering from this Kebabish for about 30 years (From bk in the days when it was just a tiny little takeaway). I must admit the below comment was a one off. But still deserves to stay up so it does not happen again. Anyway, for a change I ordered the Piri piri half chicken and it was mouth watering. I should have ordered a full one. And I must point out that these days they actually complete an order. As in the past, they would always forget something small like a drink or a dip. But for as long as I can remember, for a long time now all my orders have been flawless.

Ordered a takeaway and found a hair in my wedges, the doner was hard and overly greasy. The salad with my Chicken burger was pure onion and the burger bun was over toasted. In total, we ordered 5 burgers and asked to have them with wedges but when they arrived they came with chips.

Juicy tender chicken - chunky fillet burgers and a tasty batter. I love their food and visited 3 times already in the past week... definately worth a try. But if you cant tolerate spice dont go for their burger.

This is one of the best chicken shops in Watford! Such a wonderful owner, who is very attentive and has great customer service. I really enjoyed the food! The wings are perfectly seasoned making them a cut above the rest. Everything was made fresh and came out quickly. I would definitely recommend.

You know what I was a little hesitant to give this place a try after seeing the bad reviews but actually it was pretty decent, I got a milkshake too and it was quite nice. The guy that served me told me he was the bosses brother and he was a cool guy 😊

The food was absolutely amazing and it wasn't too spicy but they only accept crash and I suggest to use card and cash to do both payments. The atmosphere is just you're just in a shop there with a black walls and their food on the walls and the service was pretty good.

I found him interactive, polite, friendly and respectful. When I went in I had to wait a while as they were snowed under. The manager explained this to me. Now, if you feel that you don't want to wait then there are plenty of other eateries on the Road. It was busy tonight which gave me a chance to watch his people skills. Tbh he was great with customers who he knew and those who he didn't know. Sure, if you go bouncing in with an attitude he doesn't look like the kind of character who will take that kind of disrespect. But then would you if you were in his place? Be honest. So yeah. Some of the reviews on here have been quite personal towards the manager. If you have a problem with the food, which myself and lots of others don't, then it's you right to complain. But forget the character assassination as I was in there a while tonight and the other night and didn't see that. Anyway I just wanted to add that. Not a bad chicken house ..wide variety of chicken meals to choose from.....it used to be cash only ...but not sure if it takes card now ..the prices are quite reasonable..food is exelent..not had a problem with the food ...it can get quite busy tho with the college being near by aswell............

I must say, the food was truly horrible, leaving me utterly disappointed.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the behavior of the owner ( The guy who looks like Hagrid in HP ). Not only was he rude and impolite, but his demeanor seemed to suggest that he was dealing with some mental health issues. As someone who believes in treating others with respect and kindness, it was disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism.

Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted with a complete lack of courtesy. The owner appeared disinterested in serving customers and had an overall dismissive attitude. It was clear that he had little regard for customer satisfaction or even basic customer service etiquette.

Moving on to the food, it was truly abysmal. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and lacked any flavor whatsoever. The portion sizes were significantly smaller than what one would expect, given the prices charged. It felt like a complete rip-off, and I was left questioning the quality of the ingredients used.

Terrible Experience at Krispy Chicken

I recently visited Krispy Chicken with high hopes of enjoying a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I felt compelled to share my disappointment with others considering dining at this establishment.

First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff appeared disinterested and unmotivated, displaying a lack of basic customer service skills. Not once did I receive a friendly greeting or a sincere smile. It seemed as though they couldn't care less about providing a positive dining experience.

Moving on to the food, it was nothing short of a disaster. The chicken I ordered was overcooked and dry, lacking any semblance of flavor. It felt as if I was biting into a piece of cardboard. The breading was soggy and greasy, giving me the impression that it had been sitting out for far too long. The sides were no better; the chips were cold and tasted like they had been reheated multiple times.

The cleanliness of the establishment was also a major concern. The floors were dirty, and tables were sticky, clearly indicating a lack of proper hygiene practices. It was off-putting to say the least, and it made me question the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area.

Furthermore, the prices at Krispy Chicken were exorbitant considering the poor quality of the food. I expected a higher level of quality for the amount I paid, but unfortunately, it was a complete waste of my hard-earned money.

Was craving fried chicken and happened to pass this shop, so tried it out. The food itself is quite nice. The cheese burger was quite good, the fried chicken was a little bland and dry. We were quite annoyed with the service though. The person who served us seemed the least bit interested in doing so.

This has been the worst encounter I’ve ever experienced with a takeaway. I’ve ordered food on the website the money was deducted from my account,and the food was one minute away, according to the delivery app. The food never arrived after 2 hours of waiting, the shop was closed. I contacted the manager the next day to discuss the matter; he was extremely rude and had awful customer service; he never apologised and simply stated that there was a technical issue and that the business was closed. I still haven’t received my refund two weeks later.

You know what, this spicy chicken burger is hitting on a level rn. It's another one of Manchester's signature sauce-dipped fillets, but this sauce has a proper ground-spice kick to it, without going down the sour/punchy/acidic route that many other places do (you know the bright orange sauce one? that gets boring bro). Burger is wham too, proper sized fillet.

The wings are a throwback style also. I know it will be hit-and-miss for a lot of people, but there aren't many places that still do this style of dipping the wings, then baking them in the oven to finish. Nostalgic stuff (I miss you papa carlo). Anyways, who knows how long this wave will last, places be mad inconsistent these days, bossmans be having moodswings (it's universal dw).

The food was soooooooooo nice. I just bought a pizza and it was delicious. There was a guy called adnan (I think that was his name) who was a very kind and child friendly guy. Defiantly will come again

Raj is a wonderful chap who sells good and tasty fast food. Nice chicken, good hot wings and decent chips. Friendly service and good conversation. Just what was needed when finally being able to feed my partner after she and I were released from A and E after the triumph sprint got destroyed by an Audi driver. Took the food up to the ward. She was most happy to eat. Thank you Raj, many heartfelt times.

Ordered lamb sizzler the other night & enjoyed it so ordered it again tonight, what I got was the cheaper kebab at sizzler price, I've order from munch at least twice a week, I don't think they will be getting any more orders from me as I also pay for delivery & the drivers refuse to use stairs to 2nd floor (no lift) I have to go down and find them on the road,

I recently visited Kebabish Express, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The food was simply amazing! I ordered a chicken kebab and it was cooked to perfection. Ordered 2 grilled burgers as meals. Burgers were small (looks like 2 strips per burger), taste was average and prices were high. I don’t think they should continue to use the name Fat Chicken as there was nothing ‘fat’ about the chicken. If anything, it was smaller than usual. I won’t be going back. Driving past the shop I noticed it was empty which was a shock as it is always packed to the door. Decided I would call in. The shop was mostly tidy except for one table that was piled high with leftovers and packaging that nobody had moved. The customers who left it there should have been those who removed it in the first place.

While in the shop a call came through for a delivery request to Oldham, for those not in the know Oldham is a haven for fried chicken places so this speaks volumes for Chicken Station. The guy told me that many people travel long distances to come here for their Massala Fish so maybe it's one to try next time.

Feeling hungry I ordered a spicy chicken burger, spicy wings, 2 piece chicken. The staff were very friendly and chatty. Although they were busy with delivery orders they were still talkative and pleasant. The golden chunks were glistening through the glass and there was mounds of crispy goodness ready to be devoured and enjoyed by the hungry people of the area. My food came very fast and I was on my way.

🔶 Spicy Chicken Burger (Dipped)

I have come to realise that in this area unless you ask for your spicy #burger to be dipped in the sauce then you will only get a splash on the top. In this area it is known as a 'Spicy Dipped Burger'.

Upon getting home this food was still hot, the burger was hefty, the fillet was a good size the bun was holding up very well, the coating was thick and sticking well to that batter. There was ample lettuce and just enough mayo. On the very first bite that burger took me to some of the best places I've visited (Miami's/Florida's) the sauce was so good it was spicy but not over the top. I picked up on cayenne, massala and paprika it wasn't salty or sweet but smooth and fiery. The chicken was really juicy and tender and the batter was light and still had some texture to it. If that bun would of been toasted this would be sensational.

🔶 2 Piece Chicken(Breast/Thigh)

The #chicken had a really thin coating of batter, it was still hot and fresh. The meat was so juicy and tender it just fell of the bone. The crispy light coating has a massala flavour like I have not tasted before on fried chicken and I have to say its a winning recipe. They were of an average size but they packed so much flavour.

The #wings wings although they were very small they had a very crispy and crunchy light batter. They had that same massala flavour but they had a more peppery kick. Again super soft, tender and meat fell right off the bone.

Went two days in a row whilst visiting family in Sheffield. Had their SFC meal which cost £4.79. Thought it was good value for money and very filling and delicious too. Will definitely be back.

First time trying this place. The place is pretty spacious and there is adequate amount of booths for seating. I ordered the Sriracha fillet burger meal and 3 hot wings. The burger was a good size and it tasted nice. The wings had a good amount of spice and the price was good for what you get. Would definitely go again.

The first time I'm ordering from here in 3 years.
The reason I stopped ordering was because the service was hilariously bad back then but the food was still good.
I thought I would give them another chance.
Well..
Back then the chicken was actually fat!
The burger I received was barely bigger than a chicken strip and it was dry, I mean dessert dry. As you can see in the pictures.
I ordered 5 grilled chicken strips but they were so small it was ridiculous.
Overpriced and not worth it.
A lot better food places out there.
The only reason it gets 1 star is because I can't give zero and to give them some credit the fries were crispy and well seasoned.
Also who the heck delivers burgers... In plain wrapping without a box.. So obviously there was damage. My burger bun disintegrated before I even picked it up.

When you first opened you were brilliant, now it's sad you're so bad.

Firstly, The food is very nice, amazing spicy sauce. Chicken Burgers, wings and chicken pieces are very delicious, especially the spicy ones. Pizza is different from competitors and very nice as well. Beef burger is no doubt definitely better than competitors. But honestly your chips/fries are NOT good, it's not just me, my whole family and friends have same opinion about your chips, NOT GOOD. Most of the times I order food on call from Havana. I only went to dine in two times with my wife and kid. Table was dirty, I asked the guy on counter to please clean the table, he had no smile on his face, I said Thank you twice and he didn't even say You're welcome. And you service sitting area and drinks... But you do not provide toilet to the customers. That's very bad. Overall, you're good but can improve in many ways.

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great, the guy making the food is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

Had a spicy chicken burger meal, £5, plus £1.50 for the worst chicken gravy sauce I have ever tasted from a chicken shop. The burger itself was nice, chips good too, nice chili n mayo combo sauce, but honestly this chicken sauce even smelt so bad it was making me sick so I covered it up. Cmon boys decent burger but you letting the side down with this disgusting gravy.

*PRICE INCREASE*

Apparently there was a price increase two months ago (March 2022), with every meal on the menu being increased by £1 due to 'rising fuel cost' and 'the crisis in Ukraine'. All the menus and digital screen shows the old pricing. Only when £4 was added to my bill, i realised there was a price increase. The manager excuse was the new menus are currently being printed and got AGGRESSIVE along with his staff when asked why customers were not informed but instead charged extra automatically. Seemed like all customers have been charged extra and didn't mind as according to him i was the first to complain since the price hike.

Based on the customer service, and how immoral the staff are, i asked for a refund and left. After reading other reviews, seemed like we all dodged a bullet. I would instead recommend Mak Halal less than 30 seconds down the road. Higher quality food and reasonably priced. It's a shame as Fat Chicken used to be quite nice.

Honestly the best chicken in Manchester 100% if you want good food or down near Trafford centre this is the best place to come. Wow chicken was amazing. Defo coming back.

Been here a couple times and thought I’d leave a review. I’ve had bigger burgers before and this time I went with a smaller one so the bun don’t get eaten quicker than the chicken patty lol. Really nice crispy chicken, fries are decent, sauces tasty. I recommend but they are some big burgers for sure.

Ordered a burger and munch box tray (Donner wings and chips. Salad and sauce)
Burger was dry. Not edible. The box was okay. The chips was the only thing that was decent. Price was not bad. But Donner meat was like rubber. The wings were not edible either. Dry and looked overage. Won’t be ordering again. The place has awesome potential.

I Call for a delivery, they told like about 40 min and after 1 h and half waiting we call again because my toddler was crying hungry and they said to me that the food was going, so I wait another 20 min when they said that the driver already left and we are about 6 min from the shop, so finally I cancel and went to McDonalds. Really bad service because the normal thing is even if you cancel to send the food but even better that they don’t send it for free because after reading the reviews now maybe we could all get sick.

Got a Skyscraper burger meal, one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever eaten. Well sized chicken fillet and the hash brown was crispy with onions. The fries were crispy and golden with a great range of sauces available. Speedy and friendly service. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of clean seating too with hand washing facilities. The Fanta can was a genuine one too.

Update: Went back and ordered a chicken sub meal with cheesy fries, coleslaw and the best chicken gravy I’ve had. See picture. Consistently great place.

Amazing, huge spicy wings, really tasty and will definitely be back for more. Competitive prices and I rather eat there than KFC. Looking forward to trying the pizzas & kebabs. Give it a try if you're in the area, you won't regret it.

Under new management. A wide choice of food is available. I particularly like the skin on fries and bbq ribs! You might need to wait a little as food is generally cooked to order, but it is worth the wait as all the food is hot, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommended and Open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day other than Sunday.

I rated 3 stars last time and Said I will definitely not come back. Things look to have been shaken up a bit. Great ribs and wings. Excellent chicken ! Overall a great time. Bit expensive still. 7.00 for a meal ! They need to get some offers on the board asap.

Was passing by thought I’d try this place out, everything looks good look wise. However Bossman recommend to try burger, seriously it was awful dry. It’s a shame thought it will b really good. Btw there wings are dead taste like honey or something, the only thing was nice was drink lemon & lime.

Staff don't know how to talk to customers properly and so come across as being rude....... they just don't have the correct etiquette to talk to customers.

The food
Ordered a full chicken with 4 fries and 2 drinks to share. This is only just enough for 2 people.
The chicken is cooked well. Should have a choice of spice/flavour offered when you order the chicken.
The burgers are very big. Almost too big to have enough flavour all the way through.
The fried chicken is very tasty.
Overall ok

it was the best honestly such nice workers who always start up and conversation. The burgers were amazing and the gravy was silky smooth. The coleslaw was crunchy and refreshing. As well as the pizzas were fantastic. Defo coming here again. Best chicken in Manchester by far🏆

2 years ago: Very disappointing for the second time in a month. Never ordering any food from this place. chicken wings smelt and tasted rotten and gone off. Took them back had refund but concerned as my little and myself had couple of bites. Be careful when you buy food from here the previous owners were very honest and food tasted very nice.

So i left work late they where an hour pacsed closed and still cooked up A LAMB CHOPS DINNER for me... Fully appreciated... Have been before and It's the best place and the only place I would go for lamb chops for sure ...
