Well what can I say ! ....110% amazing sevice from the staff at Windsor Court Liverpool ... My son has a few issues apart from a physical one that is not tbf easy to know but moreso mental health issues that aren't seen on a daily basis to everyone ! But trust me are a big issues to my boy taking that step and moving out of his comfort zone for residence with his chosen Uni. This has been so overwhelming finding the right place !! But I have to say Windsor Court has been amazing , I've been bombarding them with questions after questions on a daily basis and nothing has been too much trouble at all, the level of customer service skills has been exceptional . Not only in finding my son the right accommodation but the care the thoughtfulness the patience and the reassurance has made the beginning of his next chapter more bearable and knowing he has the genuine support from people who have showed such empathy and understanding towards his situation has definitely softened the blow of this transition tenfold . I dealt with 2 young ladies called Olivia and Katie and they really have been exceptionally helpful . Such a pleasure to communicate with !! I would definitely recommend this residence because for me the understanding and empathy is first and foremost when choosing my sons next home so to speak . I have dealt with so many abrupt and pushy people in different residences that it actually put me off dealing with them and booking places !! So Windsor Court , Olivia and Katie ... thank you so much for making us feel that nothing was too much trouble and that my sons mental well being was paramount !! Means so much !! You really have put full faith in me knowing my boy will have your support no matter what if needed .. Thank you

No reception and any stuff at the entrance of Windsor court. Homeless people trying to get in at night. Feel no safe these days.

You could not pay me to re-book here. Do not be fooled by the false positive reviews, as the majority of tenants at Windsor Court have the same opinion as myself. For most of the winter months we have had no heating at all (which is an on going problem since the end of November). It has been absolutely freezing & not acceptable with little to no help from staff. Majority of the rooms have all had issues on top of the cold conditions, these include: water dripping from lights, flooded floors & everything being broken before you even move in. These items take a long time to be replaced if they replaced at all. The staff are very unhelpful which has left me to spend limited time at this accommodation only when it has been essential, as to me the very costly studios are not liveable & the way any housing problems are handled is disgusting, they simply do not care.

Absolutely fantastic place. Kai and Janine are so accommodating and I have enjoyed my time living here for nearly 2 years!

Electrical fire (which we haven't been given adequate information on) meant we were evacuated for 6 weeks in other accomodation that was not suitable, and there has still been no word on compensation even though the event happened nearly 2 months ago. I have attempted to escalate this aswell to find out about compensation - they chased me on my rent payment when we weren't even able to live there. Condition of flats isn't great, was dirty when I moved in and lots of damage/things broken that I raised when I moved in 5 months ago that haven't been sorted.

Great location and easy access to supermarket, pharmacy, and campuses. Convenient traffic. Friendly management team. Good experience here.

I have been at Westcombe for 2 years now and the property really is the best around. From all of my friends student accommodation buildings that I have visited, none have the same offering or design as Westcombe. Management has also been changed over recently and has improved A LOT. The building is well kept, has a great communal area for study or socializing, and is clean with a secure place for my bike and great laundry facilities. Pricing is inline with the market and you get what you pay for. My second year studio also has great views of the London skyline. I highlight recommend the property - especially now with the new and improved management!

I'm writing this review to warn people who have mental health problems and want to live in a private, peaceful place like me. I would say that there are many studios in Liverpool and this one is not a match for our condition; I have been forced to live in a small shared flat since there was a fire in the basement of Windsor Court 3 weeks ago and still have no idea when I will be back to my place yet this is very stressful, I can barely eat in the three weeks. I've tried to talk about my unconvinced situation, but I got ignored by the staff, even in person or by email. I have no idea. Maybe they want my depression to spiral out of control and start thinking about committing suicide first, then they will do something, or in the worst case, they are beginning to find some beautiful flowers for my funeral.

Fantastic place!! Amazing staff!! Amazing environment and people! I've been living here 3 years about to book my 4th year!!

This is not the first time. The bin often disappears.

Would give minus stars if it was possible. The experience living here has been a nightmare, flats are not cleaned before students move in, and are in a disgusting condition, walls and carpets are dirty. Heating initially did not work in my flat for over a month despite multiple requests for this to be fixed - took over a month to be sorted. Serious unknown leaks in flats not being dealt with, water leaking out of a light not being classed as an emergency, water leaking onto the bed. Staff, especially the management extremely unprofessional, and inconsiderate. This is just a small part of the issues at this accommodation, I seriously would not recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional behaviour, the kitchen and rooms werent clean before moving in, the courtyard smells like garbage because they never clear the garbage and they wont even hold the packages for 20mins. They provide faulty tv and cables in the room. The carpets inside have never been cleaned and stinks all the time. Extremely unprofessional

My experience with this place has been absolutely dreadful. From the beginning they had a mix with my contract which in the end made me switch rooms and pay even more! Moreover, the hallways are never clean and smell disgusting at all times. The trash is left everywhere and makes things even worse. Finally when my room was handed I can tell that the kitchen was in such a bad state that was inhabitable (I have no idea how the health policy works here). The sofa from the kitchen has stains all over and the stove is white for some reason. My room has holes on the floor and not to talk about how I had to deep clean everything with my neighbors. How do they expect to have a place if they can’t even keep it nice for the people that live there! I personally would never recommend this place to live in terms of the poor quality they serve.

The location is very convenient, easy to get to and the security is great. There were also frequent event in the flat, which was superb!

It's a beautiful building, the rooms are also very comfortable, and the front desk is very responsible!!

The room facilities are too old, there is no dedicated front desk, security is not guaranteed. It's already winter now, one month into the stay, the heating has not been solved, and the electric heater, table and chair were damaged when we checked in. Dragging your feet, not caring about your tenants' feelings. There's only two washers in the whole building, and one of them doesn't work. Don't ever come back. It's a terrible experience.

This accommodation has been a very nice and convenient spot to live in for the past couple years. The management team have been very helpful and are easy to speak to. Sid the general manager along with the other members of the team are quick to resolve queries and any issues the residents have. David in maintenance is a lovely guy, best in maintenance by a mile since True has been open, brilliant attitude to work and one you wanna have around. Night team keep the residents around the festival zone entertained and engage in conversations whenever required, all in all a team put together very well. I look forward to staying here for a while.

Where to start with Westcombe. For the first few weeks of living at Westcombe . I had three parcels stolen and when I told the front desk about it, I was told by Donna that it was not her job to check the CCTV (mind you our contract said they would be 24 hour security, she worked for the 10-4 if we where lucky), after that, it just got worse we had periods of having no warm water, a rat infestation which took months to get rid of (still wasn’t sorted by the time we moved out), a gas leak and a cleaner that never turned up, Maintenance, who never actually fixed anything just tape It or said they’ll come back and never did, washing machines and dryers that were always broken and really expensive.
For a month I had no kitchen appliances as the socket was broken. My sink was leaking and my shower did not drain so considering I’m paying for a studio (£1.5k+ extortionate if I can add) I was not getting what I was paying for. I had to shower in my friends room every day and ended up cooking downstairs which resulted in me burning myself carrying hot pots back upstairs. All these were reported to maintenance and the front desk on multiple occasions and instead I was completely ignored or lied to that maintenance would come into my room and fix it. The day maintenance did come into my room to “fix it” he used one of my butter knives to break his way into my shower and left a mess everywhere and left without fixing it or cleaning up. After a month of complaining and asking for it to be fixed it took me threatening Westcombe and CRM with suing or reporting them to the housing association for them to move me to a different room halfway through my tenancy instead of fixing things, low, and behold the plug that operated all kitchen appliances in the new room was also broken as well as the chair.
Over the period that I lived at Westcombe we had three different site managers. Donna( what a woman absolutely hated her job. Don’t know why she bothered ) Robert came and went did nothing, Zainab, who tried to fix things. No support from Management and was basically thrown to the wolves.
The cherry on top of an absolute disaster cake was the week of moving the building put in place a security guard to Man the building up until 10 o’clock so people who were busy during working hours could still check out. When I went to the building to collect the last of my belongings and to hand in my checkout form and keys,I found security not at the front desk, but instead in the lounge asleep, and just ignoring everyone walking around the building .this place is a complete joke and I would not waste your money!

Easy to get to. Visited the area for the inaugural Camden music festival.
Nice event. Lovely lively area!
Nice event. Lovely lively area!

The accommodation itself is nice, but there is cost cutting done by upper management on staff and maintenance services such as regular garbage collection. House manager Zainab Balogun is only in office for basically a solid 5 minutes resulting in multiple maintenance issues in the common areas that are left unattended for months, parcels getting stolen as there is no one in on office hours to collect them, and any complaints sent by multiple residents left unanswered. Has potential once upper management invests in more qualified staff that deals with contract breaches on Westcombe’s end but at the moment it feels quite unsafe to live there.

I thought I was the only one having a hard time living here until I saw all the reviews. The only reason I give two stars is because the staff is really nice and try to help as much as they can.
However, the main issue lies in the overall management of the building. It’s still under construction and so there’s constant noise from 8am in the morning, I have had so many insect issues especially with massive silverfish in my room and for such a premium price - the building’s cleanliness is terrible.
There’s no cleaning of the common areas either and it takes a long time for something to be done if you have an issue.
Michelle and Youssef, really try though, they’re the only helpful people I would say.

Avoid at All cost staff will treat you like a child and put rules in place to punish everyone in the building instead of just punishing the people causing the issue. if you raise a complaint you will be discriminated against and left to feel threatened in your home. public areas will be locked and you will be forced to beg staff for access that’s if they don’t just shut the room off and say it’s just for staff use. They will treat you as a box to tick on their to do list instead of customers who are paying a great deal of money to live here. There are plenty of different options if i was you i wouldn’t choose this one unless you like being an unwelcome guest in your home.

The place has no receptionist, so that’s one inconvenience thing. The inventory paper they gave out in the beginning serves no purpose, as they would still take your deposit saying that you break things, even though things were already broken when I moved in. There is no soundproof between rooms, so you can literally hear the whole floor everyday and night. I asked them to email the students regarding the noise, yet they do nothing. They were also supposed to do an inventory check before I leave, but no one came to check it while I was there, they waited until I leave to then say they can't return the deposit. Avoid this place, it is not worth your sanity. Very unprofessional.

The environment is very good, including water, electricity and heating, you don't have to care

Love true Birmingham! Lots events to enjoy!

We were very disappointed of hospitality of this place. The receptionist was very rude and literally asked to leave the building immediately, causing my little daughter to cry.
I was very impressed by modern environment made for students, and I really wanted to recommend this place for my friends -students but, unfortunately,I won’t do it.

It's okay for student accommodation. Secreity is the worst, as they are never at the gates when supposed to. Living here for a few years, they also never had good enough security to stop people partying at 2 in the morning. I can never sleep much before exams which is horrible

Don’t not waste your money here, I am one of the students living in maltings and it is truly disappointing moreover, depressing. They would scam our money for literally anything, even cleaning fee £15 per person for one single kitchen. Cleaning fee should be included and yet student still have to pay for it, even if they had no involvement in the mess. If I could I would rate it a zero.

My experience at Hawley Crescent has been amazing. I’ve been living here for 3 years and have had a blast. Not only is it great living here but the activities and social events held here are so interactive and everyone is welcoming.

I've been living in this building for 2 years now and I have to say, it's been an absolute pleasure. Kai and Janine have been nothing but the best since day one. They're always available to answer any questions or concerns and they make sure the building is clean and well-maintained at all times.
Speaking of maintenance, the team here is top-notch. They're quick to respond to any issues and always get the job done right. It's great to know that if something goes wrong, I can count on them to fix it ASAP.
The gym here is also amazing. It's well-equipped and always clean. I've had no problems using it whenever I want and it's definitely a great perk of living here.
Overall, I can't recommend this building enough. It's a great place to live and the staff really makes it feel like home. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained building, look no further!"

This building is all great, easy access to the city centre, and the waterfront including Albert Docks. Nice gym facilities but limited maximum weights. The staffs are lovely and friendly.
Best thing that I always be happy to see the Royal Liver Building in the front of this building.

I strongly do not recommend students to reside here. The management of this apartment complex lacks integrity and decency. It significantly exceeded the renovation timeline they promised before I moved in. Throughout the year I lived here, I could only sleep until 8 AM at most, as workers would start conversing and working outside my window, even on weekends. This not only reflects the inefficiency of the apartment's management but also highlights their lack of ethical standards. How can they guarantee a good experience after you move in? Please refrain from choosing to live here and supporting such an organization.
At the same time, it is important to note that this is a newly renovated apartment, and even after the renovation is finished, you will have to endure the constant pungent smell of paint and various building materials.
The response from their staff is the same old cliche, apologizing and then refusing to admit the mistake and never correcting it. You're not going to get a prompt email response, ever.

bad service

I lived in drapery place for a whole year. The first day I came here and saw the notice the decoration on hooper yard side will end at the end of Feb. Today is the beginning of September, they still working outside. However, no sorry, no compensation, they just send email told us we need work at weekends every week. The outside work is very noisy.
Very bad living environment and experience. The price cannot represent the quality this accommodation. They are just a profit driven company.

Convenient, near the tube station and bus station, next to a big Sainsbury’s. The price is okay comparing to other accommodations considering the size of the room. The staffs are nice. I have already lived here for 2 years and have rebooked for next year.
Maintenance is usually time-consuming and requires patience. Fire alarms are sensitive so could be a bit annoying sometimes, but I’m already used to it. Collecting parcels is a little fussy for me. Although knowing it’s for safety reasons; I may prefer to simply pick them up by myself when passing by. Since the reception is locked after 5:30pm and sometimes even earlier; and is not open before 9am or during weekends; I usually miss the opportunity to collect my parcels when I was at school all day, or came down when the staffs were absent. It might be better if there’s a back up plan for us to collect urgent parcels out of working hours; just like what we do with the false fire alarms I guess?
Enjoy the decorations for every festivals!

This is one of the worst student accommodations in London.
I found out the kitchen sink was clogged and overflowed when I checked in. Also, there was no hot water and the shower area didn’t have water supply at all. It took about a week more to have it fixed, but the problem is still lingering such as broken refrigerator, constant faulty fire alarm at midnight which is frightening.
Moreover, the ongoing construction work produces tremendous amount of noise from Monday to Friday which really affects students studies.
Wrote an email to complain about the problems, and they promise to give me a solution within 14 days but now it's been ***5 months!! No reply is given which is ridiculous. I have never seen a company with such bad management!!
update: super super noisy every day, insane.

The place is fantastic and donna has been very supportive

Cons: This place is Expensive. Yet no gym, air conditioning or a proper oven.
Staff are annoying and seem to come into your room when they feel like it, without asking your permission. They dont leave you alone or give you privacy, when requested. Staff treat you like a 5 year old. Quick to throw blame at you. Feels like a prison.
Fire Alarms keep going off while you are sleeping or studying, yet when you go outside it's always a false alarm, not even a drill.
It has been a good couple of weeks after the promised date, to return my deposit. Still havn't got it back.
Pros: Maintenance of the appliances is good.
Internet is good.

Very Decent place, has elevator. Nice furnitured student accommodation.

Great place, location is perfect for students, train station to central is 3 mins away, main bus route is top of the road, the management have been really helpful and helped me to have a good stay

Donna is amazing! I enjoyed my time at Westcombe House :)

The lady in reception is very kind and give great support when I moving in.

I stayed here for my academic year 2021 to 2022 at SOAS. The maintenance staff and accommodation manager Chris are very friendly and nice. The room is small yet very cozy with a quiet environment. I really enjoy the beautiful garden, the clean study room and TV room. The location is great, very near to the Camden market and the beautiful Regents park. It is also near to the food market where we can buy various affordable nice food. On some special days like Christmas or Thanksgiving, there will be fantastic events and party for everyone. Overall my stay here is a very enjoyable experience.

I had a fantastic stay. No issues. If I had any problems with my room, I would let management know, and they’d sort it out in a timely manner.
My room was in good condition, and I had ample sunlight ( lucky me!). In addition, you have everything you need within a half a mile radius. - Sainsburys, the underground/overground, cinema, doctors etc.
I loved it here.

So far enjoying my stay here . Room is not that small . Perfect size for one person . Quiet except the fire 🚨 going off unnecessary . Walking distance to university of greenwich( about 13mins) , via bus 9mins . IKEA just round the corner and other stores .

It has been a quite enjoyable stay for me here so far. I came here in later September of last year and I've made some very good friends. I suggest anyone who wants to come here and meet new people to show up in the common room at night, it's a great way to have a good time with fellow students. The staff is really understanding and friendly, halls and common spaces are routinely cleaned, and for certain holidays the staff will decorate appropriately and even give food and drinks. The rooms are fairly small but quaint, the position is central and quite convenient for UCL students in particular.

Nice place, but just meant for single person

Well, don't expect as much as you'll see in the video ☹️

the rooms are fine and spacious for student accom etc but ngl i’ve had multiple problems with pink and black mould all over my bathroom which maintenance has not sorted and the light in my bathroom breaks every other month. For first year student accom it’s fine, staff do kitchen inspections often and the security are very extra (no visitors between 11pm-8am and only 1 guest for 2/3 days max). Also reception closes at 4pm but all parcels etc come through there which can be inconvenient, except for amazon parcels which can be collected at the amazon locker. Try not to lose your keys it’s £60 for a replacement lol

Goldsmith House offered a wonderful stay during my academic year 2019-2020 at UCL. The administrative staff is helpful. The house keeping staff is friendly, helpful and prompt. I enjoyed my stay at Goldsmith House, especially the spring of 2020 was beautiful with backyard garden. A calming space during the lockdown. The kitchen and toilets are well maintained too. An added advantage is the location, being in Zone 2 Camden, the hostel is a 20-25 minute from the main UCL campus.

Neat rooms, responsible caretaker and responsive landlord. Within walkable distance from the city centre and both the unis.

Terrible management after pandemic hope it gets good now. I had been living with windsor court for over 3 yrs, everything was good at first. But after pandemic the services got so terrible. I never receive response for maintence requests, we even got kicked out in the middle of the night once because of fire alarm issue. I checked out this September and finally received my deposit on 12 Jan.

I lived here for 2 years and loved the place, the location and the staff were always brilliant with me. The issues only began once I’d moved out. I spent a whole day cleaning what was already a pretty spotless flat and left it in far better condition than I found it. One month after moving out they sent me a bill. £64 towards a mattress and £36 for cleaning. I was also given threats and ultimatums over email until after about 10 emails from me and my guarantor that we would not be paying the fees, I never heard from them again. Disgusting service trying to pull a fast one on good honest tenants. I would highly recommend anyone interested to look for a more reputable property managed building if that’s what you are after.

I love it here! The room is big and bright; the staffs are friendly and extremely helpful. Although doing laundry is a bit expensive, but the well-equipped complimentary gym and the decent Wifi could make up for that🤣
It takes just a little walk to 2 TfL stations; there are grocery stores all around. One cinema and one Chinese-supa just right downstairs.

All the staff, amenities, and location are great. If you want to chill a bit, you can just pop up to the Camden market and river, or the Regents Park. The Hight st. is also nearby so you can get your necessities quite easily. The best part is all flatmates are female and they are really awesome and friendly. You can make lots of friends here. Though the road across the accommodation is under construction, the window is soundproof and you can barely hear any noise with the window closed. Highly recommend it.

Dropped my daughter off today, fantastic security, decent parking, the rooms are average size, enough kitchen space. Great facilities. Great start!

It’s good place to live. The issue of fire alarm happened quite often in the last two years, particularly at weekends, no one working in the reception. But this situation has been improved in 2023. Kai is supportive staff there.

Dropped spawn off for their first day of Uni. Impresed with security, organisation, layout and friendliness of all the staff. Everything is on site and, what they can't offer, the tesco express at the bottom of the toad can. Only a short 15 min walk to the city centre. Shaping up yo be a good 3 years for the kiddo.
Edit, spawn is now driving so I was not required for the move back this past Sept for year 2. Have been up to visit today and still very impressed with the accommodation. Security was lapse as a random student let me onsite with my car and no one from the gate security challenged this. Had a fantastic day in and around Birmingham city center visit the library with it's secret garden and Shakespeare exhibit. Fascinating and appealing range of architecture just as diverse as the people of Birmingham. In a time of austerity, high cost of living this doesn't stop the people of Birmingham, they are out in force, celebrating the match, buy essential ( and maybe not so essential) items and partaking of the many delicious aromas gliding through the air from the many eateries. Children running and laughing. Friends meeting up, just because, and radiating joy. Every denomination represented, not to push their religion but all gifting the Saturday afternoon shoppers with positivity, acceptance and love. Yet, Brummies are not shy in bringing those social and political messages to the masses such as, animal rights and supporting the Ukraine. As with every major city, homelessness is a concern and evident on every major street in the city centre. Entertainment from gifted musicians on the clarinet and saxophone weave their gift through the hearts and minds of Brimingham's saturday afternoon shoppers and coming together as one.

I enjoyed staying here for the past two years. Experiences at student halls would always depend on who the flatmates are, and I was blessed to have so many nice people around me. People staying here seemed to be generally nicer/ more responsible at least in comparison to my previous hall.
- The house is small enough to become familiar with most people including the reception and cleaning staff. The fact that we only have one big dining room also helped for getting to know each other.
- Communal areas are well cleaned (unless there's that one resident who makes a mess) and the shared shower room was very new looking.
- One side of the building has a railway + long term construction at the moment, but the admin team is very understanding and would work out a quieter room if available.

It was a great experience to live here as it is located in the centre of Camden town and I do appreciate the management team for their great service. I also love the way they changed the decorations in the building for different holiday seasons. (photo took during Christmas last year)

Neat and warm rooms. Fantastic location. A minute walk to Overgate Shopping Centre.

Firstly I don't understand why a male has reviewed this hostel as it's a women's only hostel. Not sure what that is about.. the only men you will find there are staff members.
I stayed at Goldsmith house for a few years as a student and found my experience at Goldsmith House has been quite negative. I experienced many issues with the place like seeing Rats/mice in the kitchen (sometimes bedrooms). There was constant refurbishment…If you are a student, this is probably one of the worst things as there is always a disturbance of some sort… sometimes they are changing the doors, windows, painting the corridors, changing the carpets, lounge room refurbishment…the list goes on. Let’s not forget the waterworks going on outside (no one seems to know when it will end..a year? 5 years..?). If you are looking to complete at least one assignment in your place of residence, I don’t recommend staying here.
You do need to be careful if you are out and about on your own at night. There were several instances when staff sent out emails to all residents about incidents involving phone theft occurring close to the residence. Oh yeah, my bike got stolen from the bike shed too (more on that in my next point). I suggest that you plan to arrive back at the hostel with another resident or within the day time/ busier hours. Also, avoid taking your phone out wherever possible around the building.
Half of the concierge were found asleep rather than actually doing their job. That’s how my bike got stolen from the bike shed. I saw the concierge fast asleep and the next day my bike was gone. If the concierge had been awake and monitoring the security cameras, I probably wouldn’t have had my property stolen. If the gate was left open, this should have been picked up on in the security footage, and the concierge should have closed the gate ensuring all entrances are closed preventing strangers from entering the property. Don’t put too much stock in the fact that a 24-hour concierge is present - you will still need to be vigilant when it comes to your own safety inside the building.
Kitchens were left in a disgusting state with bins overflowing and not a single clean worktop. It is a complete pigsty on the weekends. If you can afford to, avoid the kitchens on weekends and public holidays - it is not a pretty sight.
Also, there were obnoxious members of the cleaning team that would constantly be heard shouting to one another or on the phone. Not what you really want to hear when you’re trying to sleep or study. Sometimes they carried out room checks, using their keys to knock on the door very loudly.
Many of the new heaters didn’t work properly which led to multiple, ongoing complaints to the maintenance team. It was pretty cold in the winter but thankfully we were provided with portable heaters. Just be aware that there is a pattern of unsuccessful installations/renovations.
There was one particular incident when the second-floor toilets had flooded and the water was leaking through the light on the floor below but the concierge failed to call emergency services. Instead, the residents were forced to call the fire brigade.
It is a nightmare living in this place and I don’t recommend it.

Been a few years since I stayed here, but was such a good time. Flat A 18/19 will never be topped. I still miss that flat to this day. Cheers for the memories Merry.

I stayed in Goldsmiths house from 2019-2020,it had been such a wonderful experience. I heard alot about horrible accomodations and flats, but this place wasn't. I came from a very socially connected family and country to study my master in the UK,and I was expecting myself to struggle with being lonely and not having the real sense of family, but it didn't happen. Can you imagine that I really started to miss my family back home when I moved out of Goldmiths?!. This is because the family atmosphere that I felt while living there. Also, this place has everything that you need make out the best of your studies for many reasons: Firstly,it is always clean, all the common areas are sparklingly clean all the day because of the very dedicated staff who are always there and they clean on a daily basis. The only thing you need to take care of is your room. Secondly, The availability of the quite study room helped me alot while searching for a place to focus and not sleep ( I'm a library person,I am not the kind of people who have the strong will for studying on their room,I used to spend all my study time in libraries). Some people also study in the dinning room ,which is such a large space that can accommodate many activities at the same time. Oh ,and the fantastic garden ,it's perfect for getting your thoughts together. Thirdly, the staff, starting from the management team who had been very helpful from the day I signed the contract. They always try hardly to find solution for everyone, and they always show understanding. I will mention two things that happened for me personally that I will never forget: Due to some restrictions on the bank transfer from my country,I didn't pay the first installment and I'd signed to pay when I arrive to UK and the first week to be payed separately untill I open the bank account here and receive the money transfer. But when I arrived to the UK and to Goldmiths, openning the bank account took some time and there was adminstrative delays in sending money from my sponsor side. I was panicking alot and I didn't want to tell my family or anyone about that.I told the manager about the story and she was just like a "mother" ,she solved the situation by making another contract to pay on weekly basis untill I receive the fund. And not only that, she even asked me if this might affect my budget so she can have another solution. I was not expecting something like this to happen at all. Even during my last payment, she was not there, but she adviced the other accommodation manger to see if I want to pay later , because she was expecting the same delay to happen but it didn't. This example clearly shows their willingness to help their residing students and make life simpler for them. The other example was the other staff members: the cleaning and maintenance staff and the receptionists, they are all lovely and kind. I remember when I stay in my room and not appear for some days they ask me the moment they see me where I have been and whether everything was okay with me. I felt they are like a family.
The last thing to mention is the other students in this place. I am getting out with ones that I can call sisters, and I mean that. Although we encounter different kinds of people in life, but most of the students there are really amazing. It's also interesting to point out the activities that are usually planned by the management team for the purpose of connecting people together, such as having some breakfasts together , celebrating Christmas together and many other activities.Indeed,it helped me more to know most of the people who lived there and to have a longer chat when most of the people used to be very busy during week term time. I would strongly recommend this place for any female searching for a place to stay in London, and it's also important to consider the location and the proximity to universities, regent's park,Camden high street. Again,if you are searching for a clean, socially connected, perfectly located, well managed and organised and study conductive place, this should be your best option. Highly recommend ed

Quite dirty and musty building. Rooms are very spacious but look like a prison cell. The living room looks like a dentist waiting room and the kitchen is very gross. For the price you can definitely get somewhere else better. The only good thing is the parties and meeting other people.

I stayed at Gravity for 18 months and my stay at Gravity was absolutely fantastic. The location is on very nice and quiet area few minutes walk to Liverpool City Centre. Surrounded with many coffee shops and restaurants. The building has a very close access to Liverpool Jamse street station. . The studio itself was well furnished with well maintained facilities. The gym is well equipped and available to tenants. The staff (Janine and Akilah) were especially supportive and were quick to address our needs whenever a situation arose so that I had a comfortable stay at our flat. I had a great experience overall and highly recommend the property to students and young professionals looking for a residence in Liverpool.

What an experience, as a first year student it was just a party flat, Shiela the care taker is awesome too. Westport are actually nice people, just a shame it all had to end so early due to the current pandemic but this experience is one to cherish. Thanks Merry Halls.

We stayed at Gravity for 17 months and our stay at Gravity was absolutely fantastic. The location is ideal with easy access to stores and restaurants. It is also close to the University of Liverpool (25 minute walk). Not only that the apartment is close to bus stations and subway stations that ensured we were able to commute easily even though we did not own a private vehicle. I looked for so many places to rent before, but Cube Greenwich has been the best! Key takeaways: Feel safe (CCTV in corridor), friendly receptionist, nice room size, new building, immaculately clean rooms and they even have a small gym area! Also to add the lady namely Sandra who is guiding me through my application process is very helpful in explaining things clearly and replies promptly to my concerns, addressed them & most importantly resolving them! Customer service is 10/10, highly recommend! I look forward to moving in soon, thanks to Sandra! 🤗

Unsafe locality because it falls directly under HS2 construction. I have come to know that many theft and assault incidents occurred with the female residents of the housing. Very noisy because of the construction, not an ideal student accommodation.
Unprofessional and disrespectful staff - can increase the rent at any point of the year by more than 20% with no regard given to any contract. The contract is carefully designed when given them the freedom for doing such things. The rent doesn't justify the facilities and room size.

If you want to fail your undergraduate or post-graduate degree then this is the perfect place for you!
Goldsmiths house is located at the epicentre of the HS2 (High Speed Rail) construction zone, and will be due to completion in 2026.
Want to get a panic attack at 07:00am?
This is certainly guaranteed with industrial size jackhammer 5 metres from your lovely tiny, claustrophobic paper thin wall 2x3 sqm room.
Early morning I woke up with my room shaking, extremely loud noise, had a panic, looked out the window: HS2.
£202 per week on a 50 weeks contract? You can find a better nicer place/studio flat for less.
I failed my 2 of mymodules because of how loud it is, some of the residents have no respect, but the management is worst, they never do anything no matter if your life is at risk or not.
Safety? Forget about it, since the HS2 has taken over the area, they constantely close roads and paths making it instead of the 10 minutes walk from the station that they advertise, a 20 minutes of fearful walk.
Kitchen is filthy, bathrooms is so disgusting I have started to take showers at uni and at work PS: I have found a sanitary pad full of blood stuck on the shower wall on a couple of occasions.
Staff is disrespectful.
In summer you will boil, because they don’t take away the window limiters.
This place made my life hell.

Absolutely lovely residence. Modern fittings and centrally located. The building is secure, clean and well maintained. There is a fully equipped gym accessible to tenants. A very helpful concierge is always able to assist with the lettings consultants sitting in house to offer any further support. A huge thank you to Janine and team for making our stay so comfortable. I would recommend Gravity Residence to anyone looking for a new place in Liverpool

excellent service

Great halls. A few issues we had with a flatmate were quickly resolved!
This accommodation consists of 800 students, and 17 houses. It is securely gated and has CCTV's around it which always helps. Especially, of you're an International Student, which around a 1/3 of the population that lives here - are.
It's great! Try it, if only just for a year!!

A great location for students, has shops nearby, cafes and supermarkets. 20-25 minutes walk to North Greenwich and Cutty Sark. Rooms are clean, bright and cozy, en-suite kitchen and bathroom are clean as well. I would definetly recommend this place.

This accommodation has been amazing, the room has been very comfortable and it has easy access to university of Greenwich. Really happy with my decision!

The Cube Greenwich has become my second home for the last 6 months. I have been having an amazing experience, the room is very comfy and spacious. Important to note, the Cube staff is extremely friendly. I really enjoy my stay and would definitely recommend you to become a part of out Cube Greenwich family!

No. Just no.
Soo many reasons to say NO.
Horrible experience. From any point of view!
First & definitely last year in here!
@Holly Langston, I feel you big time!
I call this place a prison too:)) I personally don’t even want to remember what happened during my stay here (unfortunately I’m still incarcerated for another 4 months) and the security treats you accordingly. For some reason they want people to sense fear and they do their best to intimidate you. When I get home, my mood dies just seeing their faces. I’ve visited other student accommodations before where people are treated like people:)) I absolutely never expected this place to be so ridiculous.
And there is so much more to say!!
People, if you have a plan B, use it for your own good:)) trust me, you don’t want to be here!!

Don't book this place.... it's the worst place ever! Everything is broken (kitchen, fridge, bed, cupboard..).At the beginning of the year, everyone had to change rooms and move again because most of the rooms are broken. It was a mess. The rooms were so dirty. There was mold in the fridge it was sticky, and I could find hair everywhere. When I called someone to help me, they said it is my problem. There are fire alarms all the time and also water failures. Days without water. Since the reception is only open for a short time, no one can help. Moreover, it's really noisy. This building is trouble.

The worst situation ever... i booked the room from the beginning of september and the day of check in was on 18 of September. When i arrived my bed was broken. You cant even sit on it. They said that they will fixed it. But after two days they keep saying that they dont know when exactly it will be. Moreover, they said that its still possible to sleep on that broked bed because previous student lived there. So i said that they can sit on it, and check. They refused to check. The reception works only from 10-14 pm and after that you are not able to ask someone for help. Dont book this place ever. They are unreliable and not responsible company at all. Book in advance another accommodations but this is the worst choice Ive ever made

It's high security so you feel safe and there is always someone on campus if you need a member of staff. The little shop is great if you need cheap alcohol or just bits and bobs. Its a 5 min walk from the clubs and 15/20 from the shopping mall. The rooms are reasonably sized with a desk, draws and wardrobe, the bathrooms are okay reasonably clean when i arrived however i experienced alot of mould on the bathroom walls in the shower where there is lack of air circulation within the bathroom/room. The kitchen is well equipped and we have a little cubard with our room number to store food and was able to lock however had to provide own toaster and there is no doors on the bottom cupboard where we stored our plates etc so got really grummy quick which was annoying and there wasnt much space really for 7 people to store food and their appliances
