Terrible experience! I stayed at the Chesham Court property and the apartment reeked of the previous tenants fragrance and body odor. It was disgusting!

Upon complaint, the Manager admitted they didn’t have time to thoroughly clean before my stay. Gross! Manager apologized and agreed to refund my stay as I had to move — it was intolerable! — but they never returned a penny. Liars and cheats.

Location is great. Photos are deceiving. Management is fraudulent.
It was amazing experience there, and the hospitality was perfect. Thank you for everything

Absolutely fantastic place. Kai and Janine are so accommodating and I have enjoyed my time living here for nearly 2 years!
I do not recommend living in these apartments, as the linens are not clean and old, and one of the security man the fat guy is impolite. The cleaning is not done on a daily basis that you feel all the time it is dirty apartment , the bathrooms are very small, and some of the facilities are broken.
They charge you big amount but they do not spend on facility poooor
It is unsecured apartment, I got a theft incident in our apartment number 11 in 4th floor this week, which were handbags and money that were stolen, we came to know that there was a lack of security in this apartment and in this residence, and in the presence of the security authorities (police) and the building manager, it became clear that there are no security cameras on the windows and emergency entrances, so it is difficult for us to accept this that this place is safe.
Please do not use this apartment as a safe accommodation to stay in London.
The reservation director is also always away and not in the office to solve the problems and compensate your refunds.

It's a great place to stay in Durham. It used to be a farm now converted into very comfortable apartments.
Very comfortable apartments. Has all the mod cons, TV in every room, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, ensuite, pleasant rural views and spacioust. Uber friendly owners and staff. Probably underpriced if anything. One of those rare gems you only find in the North.
Amazing stay, location was wonderful, the maids were excellent, makenbel properties are the absolute best and will always make it up to you. Id like to give an extra thanks to azhar as well for the excellent customer service.
I am not a fan of Airbnbs but regardless, these accommodations were very disappointing for the price. Very dated furniture, cheap linens, uncomfortable beds, road noise etc. Housekeeping only Mon-Wed-Fri. Location is good but I strongly recommend spending a little extra $ to stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel.

Best apartment complex in Liverpool. Great management team, maintenance is done promptly and property is kept clean. Highlight is the double basement car park with ample spaces for guest cars as well. Loved our stay.
NOT CLEAN; DISHONEST MANAGEMENT

Do you want to sleep in a bed that smells like the previous guest? Do you want your clothes to take on the pungent odors of strangers? Every single room smelled heavily of stale body odor and old perfume – it was embedded in all the carpets, mattresses, bed linens, upholstery, cupboards/closets, sofas, pillows etc. It was disgusting!

Their manager Victor admitted in person they were unable to clean the apartment thoroughly between guest bookings, apologized and agreed to refund the remaining portion of my stay. Staff visited the apartment, acknowledged and apologize for the issues in person and on the phone but management will lie and deny everything in writing. Now management won’t honor the refund. Another example of a greedy, lying landlord and property management company.

I've been living in this building for 2 years now and I have to say, it's been an absolute pleasure. Kai and Janine have been nothing but the best since day one. They're always available to answer any questions or concerns and they make sure the building is clean and well-maintained at all times.

Speaking of maintenance, the team here is top-notch. They're quick to respond to any issues and always get the job done right. It's great to know that if something goes wrong, I can count on them to fix it ASAP.

The gym here is also amazing. It's well-equipped and always clean. I've had no problems using it whenever I want and it's definitely a great perk of living here.

Overall, I can't recommend this building enough. It's a great place to live and the staff really makes it feel like home. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained building, look no further!"

This building is all great, easy access to the city centre, and the waterfront including Albert Docks. Nice gym facilities but limited maximum weights. The staffs are lovely and friendly.

Best thing that I always be happy to see the Royal Liver Building in the front of this building.

We've been living here for 4months and it's a dream location. Concierge (Tom, Marty&Peter) are lovely, keep you updated and handle deliveries so it's a lovely little hidden gem.
Our only downside is the car lift breaking down every so often but if you don't drive it's golden 👌🏾

They charge a standard fee of £180 cleaning at the end of tenancy, no matter how clean your apartment is and they do not state this in the contract, they just take it from your deposit. Think I'm being dramatic? They charged us £180 to clean a 2 bedroom apartment, that 6 people had just spent 3 days cleaning. If you are thinking of moving here, don't and if you are going to move out, don't waste your time cleaning it, they'll just charge you anyway

Lovely place to live in. Been living here for a couple of years now. Exceptionally safe with gorgeous views of the Mersey. Undoubtedly the best location in the city center. Cruise ships and other large ships frequently dock right opposite to the building. On site security team are lovely, friendly and helpful. Tom is a brilliant individual on both a personal and professional level. Well respected and liked by the residents.
Looking at the previous reviews, I would say that it is only natural to be asked where you're going upon visiting the building should you not be accompanied by a resident.

I lived here for 2 years and loved the place, the location and the staff were always brilliant with me. The issues only began once I’d moved out. I spent a whole day cleaning what was already a pretty spotless flat and left it in far better condition than I found it. One month after moving out they sent me a bill. £64 towards a mattress and £36 for cleaning. I was also given threats and ultimatums over email until after about 10 emails from me and my guarantor that we would not be paying the fees, I never heard from them again. Disgusting service trying to pull a fast one on good honest tenants. I would highly recommend anyone interested to look for a more reputable property managed building if that’s what you are after.

It’s good place to live. The issue of fire alarm happened quite often in the last two years, particularly at weekends, no one working in the reception. But this situation has been improved in 2023. Kai is supportive staff there.
Been living here for about 4months now. Great apartments in amazing location. Security have all been really friendly so far. They also handle mail and they always keep it safe for tenants in a mail room which is locked behind multiple locked doors.

Nice place to live especially because gym is also included and the permanent reception staff are always helpful!
But... I would not recommended it for winter months and for Liverpool winters can last quite a bit.. :/
We can not heat the apartment at all, it is extremely cold!
The radiators available are both useless and costly (temperature can not be maintained above 21 degrees even with extra plugged radiators) !

I don’t agree with the comments about Tom we have lived in the building for over 2 years and found him to be extremely helpful and polite and a lot of the residents agree. Tom, Paul and Paul are all pleasantly engaging and are happy to help with anything.

Lovely building. I visit friends there often. Only issue is a concierge whos name is tom. Very rude and unhelpful.
I visited my friend last week who is a resident in Alexandra Tower. On entering I was greeted by an extremely rude and unhelpful concierge. He made me feel as if even the smaller request was to much and as if he was superior to myself.HE NAME IS TOM.

I lived at the Cargo building for 2 years and cannot recommend it highly enough - fantastic location, lovely apartments, the staff who work there are very professional and kind. They are happy to sort out problems that arise swiftly and effectively. I would highly recommend living at the Cargo.

We really loved our corner apartment, it was warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We barely turned on the radiator. Everything in the apartment is modern and well made. The concierge team is very friendly and polite. Parcels are left at reception. The gym is convenient and clean. The rent is a bit expensive as everything else in town. The rent is also increased every year unless stated otherwise in the contract. The handyman is very good and fixes everything needed, we never had issues with maintenance. There may be some delays in responses from the office. We left the apartment in a very good state (after 4 whole years) and no charges were made, people who complain have probably left it dirty or have broken things. I know there have been some issues with water coming in in one of the buildings but we never had any issues in our building. Safe and secure, would highly recommend it!

I stayed at Gravity for 18 months and my stay at Gravity was absolutely fantastic. The location is on very nice and quiet area few minutes walk to Liverpool City Centre. Surrounded with many coffee shops and restaurants. The building has a very close access to Liverpool Jamse street station. . The studio itself was well furnished with well maintained facilities. The gym is well equipped and available to tenants. The staff (Janine and Akilah) were especially supportive and were quick to address our needs whenever a situation arose so that I had a comfortable stay at our flat. I had a great experience overall and highly recommend the property to students and young professionals looking for a residence in Liverpool.
This property is refusing to refund my stay from May 9th despite the UK imposing a quarantine period from any overseas visitors (I would be visiting from Australia)

Tripadvisor and expedia are also showing the hotel is closed until 1st July. As they are unable to provide the dates I paid for I should be getting a 100% refund.

TLDR:
Good - location, cleanliness, premium feel
Bad - Referencing and charges at beginning of tenancy - extortionate and poor service, slow to get meter reads and issues sorted, charged for things they said they wouldn't charge for at checkout.
Also - have a habit of putting threatening letters on cars that park outside the building, and send curt emails about parking under the building.
Overall - would recommend, but get everything in writing.

Good - Viewing easy, exchanging docs easy, phone calls from your end were prompt and informed.
Bad– Your Referencing agent, KeySafe who provide no tenant contact details, charge large fees and, in our experience did little to help. We provided details of referees to KeySafe who told us no-one answered when they emailed, a lie. We had long waits for this, and in all honesty felt like we paid several hundred pounds to do our own referencing.I don’t know if you’re still using them, but if you are, DON'T.

Living
The Good – Quiet, warm and well insulated, Gym is a nice facility.
Bad – The lift in building 2 on the left was broken for a significant period of time, often with little apparent haste to get it repaired. Once it was working, it broke again shortly after, I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say 6 weeks of no lift was inconvenient. The post-boxes are in the wrong entrance i.e. ours was in the right-hand side set, when we live in the left hand set.
The smell on level -1 in the left lift in building 2. Despite this being reported multiple times, a strong smell still lingers there, more so than in other areas, and not Cargo's priority.

Cargo Staff
Good – All the reception and concierge team are friendly, polite and professional and have a good relationship with residents. Parcels are taken which is really helpful and they always offer to pass on messages promptly.
Bad – Meter reads are slow and forgotten, reported repeatedly, nil concrete action taken by Cargo, as issue persists.

Renewing
The process, as you are a commercial organisation, was always going to lead to an increase in rent, however I feel that residents have not really had any quantifiable increase in value since the increase. Again the signing, rent calculations and speed of this process was not impressive, requiring me to proactively chase the team, carrying on living in the apartment without a new contract for a significant period, which puts both of us in difficult legal situation.

The Tone
Good - The Cargo offers many communications to residents over the year, from seasonal events like the Pumpkin carving, to updates about parcels now and then. Generally the emails and tone from the Reception guys is friendly and amicable. These events and activities are nice opportunities for residents to get to know each other and I’ve met a number of residents through these. The reception team are always friendly and helpful when you need them.
But - you are a commercial organisation first, and resident support team second, who need to ensure that rents are paid, income is maintained and revenue maximised. Recently, I feel there’s been a culture change:
- Anyone not holding a valid car parking permit will have access restricted
- Will be asked to pay retrospective charges
- Any residents leaving trays in the corridor will be charged
Notes on windscreen highlighting “illegal parking” parked on the front courtyard. I would be careful about using the term “illegal parking” as, if anything, it would be a civil offence, and even then, until you acquire both a BPA and IPC license, you would not be in a position to enforce this.

Moving Out
It came as no surprise that you levied inappropriate charge. At the start of our tenancy, you advised that if we used Terry to put up things, that this would not involve a charge, but, predictably you reneged on this and charged us "nominally"
I implore all to take lots of photos when they move in, get verbal commitments in writing and ensure that concerns are escalated.

We stayed at Gravity for 17 months and our stay at Gravity was absolutely fantastic. The location is ideal with easy access to stores and restaurants. It is also close to the University of Liverpool (25 minute walk). Not only that the apartment is close to bus stations and subway stations that ensured we were able to commute easily even though we did not own a private vehicle. The studio itself was well furnished with well maintained facilities. The gym is well equipped and available to tenants. The staff (Janine, Akilah and John) were especially supportive and were quick to address our needs whenever a situation arose so that we had a comfortable stay at our flat. We had a great experience overall and we would highly recommend the property to students and young professionals looking for a residence in Liverpool.
Absolutely lovely residence. Modern fittings and centrally located.The building is secure, clean and well maintained. There is a fully equipped gym accessible to tenants. A very helpful concierge is always able to assist with the lettings consultants sitting in house to offer any further support. A huge thank you to Janine and team for making our stay so comfortable. I would recommend Gravity Residence to anyone looking for a new place in Liverpool
Home from home facilities for own cooking
Serviced apartments near Hyde Park. Studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom flats are available. Staff is very friendly and will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Building is approx 10 minutes walk to South Kensington tube station and also Gloucester Road station. Royal Albert Hall is a short walk away. Plenty of restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes walk from the building.

The Cargo Building is a fantastic place to live, and is perfect for young professionals who are looking to live in the heart of the city. The flats themselves are modern, well designed, and of very high quality. The location could not be better, with all major attractions of the city centre situated within walking distance. The on-site team of staff, available 24/7, are always incredibly friendly and helpful. The well-equipped gym, and fast internet (both of which are included in the monthly rent) are much-enjoyed bonuses. We have loved our time living in The Cargo Building, and we would strongly encourage anybody looking to get the most out of Liverpool to consider this building as their first choice!
Great location, fantastic flats, friendly stuff. I was the first one to move into my flat which I found to be incredibly convenient in terms of size, price and location. The staff that showed me around and the receptionists are really friendly and helpful. The communal areas are an added bonus and they are really nice. I have used the gym quite a lot throughout the winter and never had to wait to use a machine (it's only really busy 5-6pm on weekdays). I loved having a parking space for my bike, too. I am really happy I made the choice to live at The Cargo Building: totally worth the money.

Stayed there for a night but it was alright. The location is definitely a major plus. No issues, but I liked the fact the building was old, as are most in this part, but there was nothing negative in our experience relevant to that.
The rooms are very well maintained and reception is responsive.
They serve a very hearty breakfast.
The locations are great especially passfield hall, 5 mins away from euston, kingscross and warren street.
