always polite, some customers treat them like they own them but they still are polite, shame people still walk out without paying but with the stupid over £200 rule they won’t stop.

One of the best whole foods in the UK, if not the best.
Customer service is great, produce is always top of the line. From fruits and veg grown organically in the UK to imported fruits from Thailand and the Philippines, all perfectly ripe and the best quality produce.

Always worth a stop of you're in the area.

I have always shopped at Wholefoods but I am beginning to question their brand integrity and if they even care what they are feeding their customers nowadays. I’m not sure if they have a new buyer but selling Mcvitties hobnobs, ritz crackers and Kellogg’s crunchy nut has made me lose total trust in the products they sell. I would go there because I trusted they were selling brands with WHOLE FOODS but it seems profits are more important so have jumped on the processed garbage. Very disappointed, thankfully Planet Organic still have standards and care about the products they supply and where they came from. Hopefully someone speaks to the buyer and they but things right.

There is a male Sales Assistant that has bad customer service. He wears earphones and stands around talking loudly most of the time. Also, there is this mardy “security" man, that whenever I go in there I see him just staring at his mobile. You are not going to see anyone stealing anything if you are doing that! I expect a much higher standard from Tesco.
Small but practical, has all you can need afterhours, when all else is closed.

First and last ever visit. Was stood looking at breakfast items, staff member came towards me and stood directly in front of me, no acknowledgement I was there and totally ignored me. When challenged she just laughed in my face. Spoke to the "manager" who rather than apologise, said she didn't see anything and then allowed the arrogant staff member to laugh and argue even more. Disgusting customer service! Said manager refused to apologise for " her staff" behaviour. If that is the calibre /attitude of her team and she feels that is acceptable behaviour then God help anyone else who has an issue- which it appears there have been and will continue to do so. And yes staff member was an arrogant cow. Never ever been treated like that in a store before! Both staff members refused to provide names, however the arrogant woman was Sarah! Clearly hiding Name badges is a common thread here!
A visit to Whole Foods Market on Kensington High St in London is an unparalleled experience that perfectly complements my health-conscious lifestyle. This store, conveniently located near my temporary residence, has become my go-to destination for all things fresh and organic. The wide range of options available is truly remarkable, offering vibrant salads, a variety of nuts, and catering to every palate and dietary need.
The food court is a highlight, tantalizing taste buds with its eclectic mix of cuisines. Whether I'm looking for a quick, nutritious meal or indulging in the extensive salad bar, the food never fails to impress with its quality and freshness. It's a haven for anyone who values healthy eating without compromising on taste or variety.
Furthermore, Whole Foods Market's commitment to conscious consumerism goes beyond food. Their cosmetics section offers a selection of products that align with ethical and sustainable practices, ensuring that every purchase made is environmentally responsible.
Special mention must be made of the friendly and helpful staff at Whole Foods Market. Their knowledge and willingness to assist enhance the overall shopping experience, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the store.
In summary, Whole Foods Market on Kensington High St is more than just a grocery store; it's a destination for those who appreciate quality, variety, and sustainability. Its central location, combined with its diverse selection, makes it a must-visit for both locals and travelers. Whether you're in need of a quick snack or a full grocery haul, Whole Foods Market consistently delivers excellence, making every visit a delightful experience. So, if you're seeking a one-stop-shop for all your organic and ethical needs, look no further than Whole Foods Market.

GG: For my first time experience in the shop I have to say Food was very good, fresh and healthy.
However, I lost an item - my yellow umbrella who was gifted - in the toilets and when I checked to see if it was there ,it wasn’t found, someone took it. Unfortunately , there are not anymore honest people in our society.
Best wishes,
G

Staff are always great and helpful especially when dropping off parcels. Not sure why people complain about queuing for a minute when they happen in any retail store. Parking super convenient too!

A fancier and cleaner version of the typical UK supermarket, offering fresh healthy foods, delicious cakes and snacks, salad bars and hot foods (e.g. chicken, lasagne, soup, pizza). Wonderful selection of different brands that aren't usually offered in other stores. The pumpkin pie sold here is delicious.

A dining area is located just after the tills where you can eat whatever you've just purchased. Nice relaxing environment. Toilets and florist located downstairs.
Handy 24-hr convenience store at the forecourt of the Esso fuel station.

Tried to by a monster in this tesco and the girl who came to check my id refused to sell it to me because my friend didn't have id. We wernt even paying together and as far as I can gather from the tecso policy website I should have been served. There was 0 indication that I was going to give the drink to my friend any way. I could understand if I was buying two or if she'd seen me ask him which one he wanted. But i didn't. Never had this issue before even when with my 13 year old brother. So went down the road to the other tesco and was served without even needing my id
This Tesco Petrol Station isn't the best. It needs some proper TLC. Lots of the pumps have temperamental card readers or Clubcard scanners when you're trying to use 'pay at pump'. As a consequence of this, a long queue tends to form at the cashier for payment... That is when the shop is open. When the shop is closed, its time for a game of what I like to call 'musical pumps' to find one with both a working Clubcard scanner and payment card reader. This place needs a good deep clean, and fresh lick of paint, but most of all it needs its 'pay at pump' kit servicing, urgently.

Came in midday Monday with my young son, twice had to shuffle past the 2 drivers waiting to collect a order of wich the older male employee was forfilling. While they were chatting with the younger male staff member.. no big issue with this but I don't expect to listen to a staff member swearing in conversation when I am shopping with a child.

Whether at home or on holiday, we like to have farm shop food whenever possible, as we believe it's better quality than supermarkets, and this place ticked all the boxes. The sausages went down a treat at the BBQ with friends, so much so, that people came back for thirds! 😁 The lady who served us was very helpful and pleasant. If we are ever back in Essex again, this place will be one of our first stops.

On 31.07.23, I shopped at this branch on Worcester High Street and made a purchase. An associate then followed me out and said I had not paid. I had paid but was happy to return to the shop to help clear this up. When we checked the till to try paying again, the balance showed 0.00 and it said payment had already been made. The associate exited out of that screen and said I had not paid. I then pulled up my credit card app to check that I would not be charged twice if I rescanned the groceries, and it also showed that payment had been made. I showed the charge to the associate but she insisted there hadn't been payment. I'm unsure how the charge would appear on my card had I not actually paid in the first instance, and she didn’t have an explanation.

None of the four associates there had any response except to say that I should speak to the manager. I asked to do that and was told the manager was not in. This obviously wasn't very helpful customer service, so I rang Tesco's customer number and they said a declined charge can take a day or two to refund on the card. But this was not a declined charge, and there wasn't a refund because the associates said there was nothing to refund. I explained this, but the associate didn't seem to understand (neither do I). I was told there is no recourse or even a way to escalate my concern for further review (which is hard to believe).

I'm raising a dispute with my card company, but they show it was a valid charge and unfortunately I have nothing to show them differently. Avoid this shop if you can. There's one close to the Foregate train station, with associates who are helpful.

After asking what Tesco brands there were I was shown 4 areas where there were Tesco named items. After working out the area and the brands it works out there is 4% Tesco to 96% top brand. So why is it called a Tesco express when it sells more brand names than. Spar, cost cutters, and 4 more top names. Not so much a money saver and the staff agree.

Staff gave me a bad attitude so I reported it to the manager and also told her and apology would be nice which she agreed but still didn't give me an apology which is as bad as the staff in the shop absolutely disgusting customer service won't be shopping there again and I shall spread the news about bad attitude in that shop so they will lose custom maybe they should have thought about how to treat customers the right way instead of the wrong way

Petrol station not as cheap as you may think .

I think that there is no longer a price difference between supermarket petrol station and smaller petrol station.
One thing I noticed is that the 99 petrol performance is much under other smaller places. Why put 99 if the performance is of 95?
Just try to up your game before loosing the clients.
And yes, the jet washer. For months was rubbish to use as it was leaking all over the place. Most of the times is closed but not sure why. Only time you can actually can wash your car is when it rains outside and there is not a queue of 5 cars ahead. Don't waste your time. There is another jet washer at BP which is not great but is not as busy.

Nice shop with decent products but very rude service.
I was about to buy some shopping and took a picture of an alternative product when I got shouted at from somewhere behind the counter ‘Oi, no photos!’. I was then shouted at again ‘You have to ask permission before you take photos’!.
This is a shop and I chose to come here over Planet Organic to support the independent shop. Now I would not make that same choice again here.

Overpriced, Shocking to see that the prices of any of the items here are higher than the prices at the larger stores, It is great to see that a billion pound company is taking the time to take more money off of the lower class, making sure that their profit margins are untouched and that the lower class continue to get poorer. Other than that its handy to get the essentials.

I have been slowly losing my patience with this store and their Whoosh service. My frustration is mainly with the ever diminishing amount of goods we can order before going over the weight limit.

Today I managed to add to my basket 1 x a pack of Pepsi cans, 6 bananas and a pack of cream crackers, but anything else took me over the limit. This order would have totalled somewhere around £7.67, but would have cost me £12.66 because my order was under £15. Go figure!

To make matters worse, I rang this store repeatedly to query the weight limit and got no response, each time being eventually cut off.

I am done with whoosh.

Layout of the store isn’t great, too narrow to pass other people and just generally seems smaller than HMV
Went and put £25 on electric card they had no receipts for transaction told me was successful. Wasn't so went back told me can't give receipt for transaction. So contacted British gas transaction had not gone through. Took £25 and did not care. Mark the manager needs some lessons on customer satisfaction. Would be suitable to work in a funeral parlance

Amazing selection and very friendly staff. Fresh bakery out by 6.15am. Even on a Sunday. If something isn’t out they do check it in the back and restock very quick. Staff has been going for the extra miles with their customer service. More Tesco store should be run like this!
Not actually 24 hours, don't go out of your way. Customer service is terrible too.
Good quality produce and a good selection but seems very overpriced. I spent over £50 in there even though I just got a few items. Not sure whether I was charged incorrectly or whether the store is that expensive.

Visited the whole foods market at high street Kensington in London and found an amazing variety of food options. Loved the choice of wines and cheese. Extremely difficult to decide with huge varieties. We visited around 7 and the place was deserted :) and seems they were operating with a reduced staff. Prices are slightly on the higher side however quality of the products are really good. They have a live food counter which is sold based on the weight of the food. I loved the variety of salads here too. I would recommend definitely visiting here for the cheese and wine options.

Picture a big Tesco. OK. ?

Now think of a medium size Tesco.

Both of these are good, gooooood shops right?

Correct. Surely they cannot improve on either of those.

I mean, what's not to like already? Apart from sometimes you find yourself wandering for days up and down aisles, unable to decide because the amount of choice is bewildering, other times, you can be in there for months, just wondering how to get out. Then when you eventually remember where your car is, the MOT has ran out or they no longer make that type of fuel.

IF ONLY THEY HAD A FASTER VERSION OF TESCO!

Well don't worry folks, Mr Tesco felt your pain and he was ASHAMED of himself.

So he invented Tesco Express.

It's so fast that you get back to your car before you even realise you got out. Woooooosh.

An upscale grocery store with a decent selection of craft beers. Nice range of London breweries, rest of UK, some Belgian, German, etc. They tend to have quite a nice selection of Kernel beers, it must be said, with around six different beers from the brewery on each of my past few visits. Prices are decent. Staff are friendly enough. Not a place to seek out for acquiring rare beers but a good local option.

I was only asking for my receipt becuase some of their pumps don't print out receipts. I told her the pump number and she asked how much I used, she infact knows how much it was because she could see it in her monitor. I already paid I just needed the receipt.

don't know their own rules on selling energy drinks, says 16 on the shelf but apparently you have to be 25? Then was told 18? Joke of a shop need a staff meeting to get the policies in place so they know what they can and can't do. Edit: The weekday/daytime staff are amazing can't fault them, the staff who work weekends and late at night however...

The check-out girl was SO rude! Super unpleasant. Didn't apologise and had the audacity to tell me I was bad-mannered, when she in fact had made a mistake. I may think twice before setting foot in that shop again. It's not exactly cheap neither. Go somewhere with pleasant staff would be my recommendation!

Reply to 'owner':
If you turn on the sound on your CCTV footage you will hear the customer apologise to me, as she felt awkward taking my place in the line. I was gone for literally 3 sec to pick up some bread, but the girl at the till had already lost patience and called the next customer forward. At no point did I push anyone (!)
I take from your hostile and distasteful reply that the tone within your shop elicits the girl at the till to think it acceptable to speak to your customers like she did to me. I would recommend you adapt a friendly tone and start hiring people who show respect and consideration to your clientele.
It was mothers day and pretty much EVERYWHERE had sold out on the much beloved gesture of love and appreciation (flowers) at my time of visit.

However, the ladies on shift were extremely helpful and supportive. The conversation was useful and better yet, their customer service was second to none. As a result of their helpful guidance, I even bought more items than had planned.

I wish I could recall their names, therefore give them the much deserved mention.

5* is a rarity, however, credit is given where credit is due.

BRAVO ladies!!! 😊

I used to work here, like most Tesco's a bit of a dump to work in but shopping here is ok, pricing is steep compared to big store down the road. Staff tend to be Non Playable Character types, not a single attractive member of staff as of june 2019 to brighten my day. I Don't think i'll ever return and I don't need to as it's a bit out of the way.

Very disappointed and angry with how a female member of staff acted here yesterday (off duty), especially with her whole family beside her ganging up on me! On your website it clearly shows where you can park and 2 cars are photographed parking where I parked yesterday. She opened her door onto my car which I clearly wasn't happy about and told her so, she offered me money then after her husband got out the car they both started shouting that I shouldn't have parked there in the first place! This wasn't my issue as I know I parked there properly - I repeatedly told her I'm not after her money but that she should be more careful opening her car door!! There are no yellow signs on the road, like on the other side, indicating NO PARKING. And then they wouldn't let me leave because they wanted their young son to take a picture of me in my car! She jumped in front of my car screaming and the husband was shouting from behind my car trying to stop me- I mean who does that!!! I will find out who she is and report her because this behaviour from staff members cannot be ignored!

Great service, very helpful and sells a wide range of items as supermarket but on a smaller scale.
Paid by Apple Ipay, told my card was declined, my bank confirm payment was authorised. Returned to speak to the duty manager who checked on office system, but instead of coming back to me sent an assistant who shouted across the store ' let him have it' - I was disappointed by the customer service and totally embarrassed by the whole experience.
