Absolutely fantastic time, we all loved the wildlife world, went with a friend & our kids, we booked tractor tour in advance & i can honestly say it was more than worth it, such an amazing experience getting so close to the red deer, Angus & Dave were top guides too, made it very entertaining & really knew their stuff
Easy to park. Good choice of food at the cafe with generous portions. The hall gives a fascinating view of a bygone age with plenty for children to do. The grounds are beautiful and again plenty for children to do. The wildlife park was much bigger and better than we anticipated. Will definitely go again.
Came with the kids and we were pleasantly surprised by the range of animals here! Their favourites were the penguins and the nocturnal house. We found the layout slightly confusing and we actually left and came back to go round a second time to catch the things we missed. Gift shop is very overpriced though.
Excellent value for money experience. 1 year old grandson loved the birds and animals on show. Good sized cafe for reasonably priced refreshments. Would recommend it as a good day out for the family.
Long walks through the gardens, woods & orchards as well as lots to look at in the zoo. Lovely cafe.

Wow what a fantastic day out at the highland wildlife park I had with my husband and children today was well worth the 3 hour trip the staff and so polite all around the park the animals are amazing could spend hours looking at them at all the food selection is absolutely brilliant and worth every penny plenary seating areas and toilets lovely park for kids and the gift shop is brilliant also will definitely be back highly recommend thanks highland wildlife park for an amazing trip with my family you all do such a great job looking after the animals
It's a nice wildlife park with a large number of animals but small variety. It was easy to get to, all staff seemed really nice and the cafe was pricey but nice. The drive through however was a let down compared to the foot zoo as me, my kids and other half where not impressed by the drive through reserve. There was nothing really that great about that part if I'm honest but my children really enjoyed seeing the polar bears and snow leopard's on the foot zoo just a shame on the drive through bit. I got a venison burger before leaving for £11 and that was OK too.

Lots of different trails you can go on, you can tailor it to however short or long you want. Great opportunity for some fresh air and a good podcast catch up. Free.
Fanstatic day out, this Is one of the best zoo I've ever been too. The enclosed area we can get properly closely to these animals, stunning mountain views, the drive through. The polar bear is what I come for and am happy to see a live polar in my eyes than a museum or TV. They certainly have different personalities, the way they lay down crack Me up, the way they play, the way they are very laid back. We saw the wild red squirrels which is amazing, close to tigers through the window omg, the Japanese monkey outside the cafe was the lucky one with her baby 😍 amazing. The sad one was no red panda :( however they are temporary at Edinburgh zoo ATM while under construction at their home. The layout is fantastic and good for a toddler to walk around, compared to other zoos. There are some building sites construction going on ATM however this didn't destroy my day out but can see where the improvement will be once it opens.

Beautiful open space hidden away in rural Norfolk. Great for walking your dog and enjoying a secluded open space, minimal parking and wear your wellies!

Lovely day out. We saw all the animals (with one exception) which I often find difficult at places like these, especially in rainy weather when the animals are inside.
All the staff were friendly and approachable, Stuart the Ranger was fantastic. Very informative, and was engaging during his talks.
We didn't use the cafe but ate at the Venison Burger Van. The food was lovely, with a surprising two vegetarian options. (Again, normally we have no luck with vegetarian options at vans like these, so was very grateful for the options). Service was quick and staff friendly.

Fantastic wee pond to walk ur dogs
A pocket of lush greenery with access to gated tennis courts.
A wonderful place with beautiful scenery. Plenty to walk/drive around to see. Plenty of animals with incredible facts from the staff. So glad to see a place that will help with the polar bear population and other animals. Liked watching the 2 male bears (Walker and Arktos) devour carrots and apples. Worth the journey. Also Moss was cool
I really enjoyed my visit at the Highland Wildlife Park. There are some beautiful and magnificent animals. Coming in the midst of Winter was ideal to see them all in all their Winter coat glory. I have loved photographing them. I hope my photos do them justice! I would like to return in a different season to see how they change.

Our first visit as a family to WMSP and by and large; we really enjoyed our time (all day!) in the park. Whilst the tickets were expensive, they do include a return within six months, so it's quite reasonable (provided you use it again!)
The safari section of the park was extensive and had a wide variety of wildlife to view up close (including numerous carnivorous cats and dogs!) The only bugbear we had, was that there wasn't enough monitoring of careless visitors blocking the road for long periods and not abiding by the two-lane system which was clearly signposted.
The safari took us several hours to get around, which seemed ideal, but bear it in mind before you go in!
The theme park side of the park was quite big and had some surprisingly good rides! Queues weren't an issue, but some rides didn't seem to last very long and it seemed like you waited longer for the rides to start than the time you spent on them!
Food offerings were fairly expensive, but that isn't to be unexpected in a place like this. What they really lacked is a place to fill up a bottle of water.
We will definitely be back!

It was a rainy Wednesday afternoon in the school term time when I visited so it was quiet which was nice. There are quite a lot of maps around but I found them a bit confusing. The animals are really cute and most were quite active so you aren't finding yourself bored waiting to see an animal move. I can't speak on either the cafe or the gift shop as I didnt go to cafe and the gift shop was closed when I left which was a bit disappointing because I wanted to look around it.

I’m writing this as we are sitting in a car in a line of traffic and I clearly have too much time on my hands to do this. Do not visit here unless you want to be stuck in traffic with young children. Both my kids have got so fed up of looking at green grass and the lack of animals unless it’s a deer of some sort! This was a birthday treat for my 2 year old and we’ve wasted his day completely. The staff are rude we finally seen a lion in the distance after waiting an hour and as I stopped to show my son the staff in the jeep shouted at me to keep moving!! This place is a money pit they have no consideration for paying customers and they are all about the money. We booked a paw patrol meet and greet but because we got stuck in the chaos we missed that too!! Absolutely ruined my sons birthday and left him bored and my elder soon upset that he didn’t see many animals. Close this place down and put the very few animals they have in a nicer place where they will be looked after. We’ve been coming here for many years and I can honestly say this will be the last time I will spend my hard earned money in a dump like this. Staff need to get some training. Thanks for completely spoiling out valuable time

So many animals to see. It is clear they are well looked after and happy. Entrance price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend a visit. The red pandas are lovely.

What a fab place! I spent 3 hours walking around here today, but I could easily have stayed another 3 if I didn't have a train to catch! The nocturnal house was a highlight for me, the armadillo was very active and it was fun to watch him scuttling around. Also loved the red panda and the capybara. It was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last! I even treated myself to an armadillo from the gift shop.
Always a good family day out and worth the money, especially with a free return visit (there are terms but still great value). If on a budget, take your own picnic, there is plenty of parking on site. Best get reasonably early and take tour first. This gives you time for food and other attractions later. Dinosaur trek was great, and kids love it (some exhibits need small TLC, but they are still marvelous). Sea Lion show well worth visiting. All around, there is lots to see and do enjoying a full day out at good value. Go to the website and look at the park map (menu , plan, park map) you can then plan your day to get the best out of your visit. We didn't really use rides, but they are great for young children and those young at heart.

Interesting little wildlife centre just outside Birmingham city centre. Spent a couple of hours here wandering around the different enclosures. A couple were empty but didn’t spoil the visit
Lovely little wildlife park with a variety of animals to view and see. It is surprisingly big compared to the entry price you have to pay. Has a nice cafe and outdoor seating areas if you have brought a picnic. Great value and entertainment for the kids. There's a pay and display car park right next door, which again was reasonably priced.
Such a great place to visit, very reasonably priced (less than £8 per adult ticket) with lots to see. Parking was a little difficult as there was a cricket event happening on the day we visited but there's lots of residential streets nearby which you can park on for free. Would definitely recommend it.

We had great day here with our 2 years old toddler, it was certainly the best day of our kiddo’s life as he explored many animals here first time. They offered everything here including rides, restaurants, cafes and shops. They have separate areas for penguins, aquarium, birds, reptiles and bugs which you can walk through. Anyway highly recommended place for family. They also got Safari lodges if you want to spend your days here with view of walking rhinos and elephants in front of your bedroom. ❤️
This is an excellent place to spend an entire day, or even several! Housing a drive through safari, with plenty of animals to see up close, a walk through zoo with many interesting exhibits and shows and a theme park, set among beautiful, tranquil scenery with plenty to entertain all ages.
There is plenty of dining opportunities and even some charming, safari themed holiday lodges. If you like nature, I highly recommend this place.
The only criticisms are that the safari, as enjoyable as it is, can get very busy and you may need to wait behind gates for some time. Patience is very much advised if looking to visit on busy days.
Also, I do feel the opening hours should be extended in the summer, as a visit in the evening would be a very enjoyable experience.
Otherwise, I would consider this among the best zoos in the UK. Definitely a place worth visiting.

One of my favourite places to walk my dog! It’s a hidden gem, if you go at the right time you won’t come across anyone. Peaceful and quiet
Visited here today with a family of five, two adults and three children which cost just under £25. Good variety of animals, kids had a great time and the tea and icecream was delicious, also a picnic area. Overall a good day and a five minute walk from Cannon Hill for a lovely walk after.

Amazing little gem recommended by a friend. We spent 4 hours here. Looking at every animal, picnic and a run around on the playground. Lots of different animals from all over the world. Recommended to my kids school as a possible trip. Definitely be visiting again.
Just as always, getting here as the sun is setting is always a pleasure although it was disappointing not seeing any ducks this time along with missing the Blackthorn blossom. Ah well, there's always next early spring. Do go if you can. It's worthy of my ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My local wildlife haunt
Spent a very interesting and enjoyable afternoon here, there are examples of traditional highland homes here and some examples of more modern ways of life including a farm museum. There is also another building full of artifacts but it is presently only open on a Wednesday so the next time I'm in Aviemore I'll make sure I can visit on a Wednesday.
A small well maintained nature reserve. Lots of ducks and geese on the pond. Benches and table to picnic. Can be muddy when its a wet day. Nice woods to walk in.
It wasn't what I was expecting. The map online shows a circular walk and when we arrived it was more of a walk and then turn back, walk across a field and then back to the car park.
If I knew what to expect I may have taken a picnic to make the most of it, however with all the dogs that were there, not on leads, I doubt this would have been a good idea either.
There were nice views when on the field though and some interesting little things to look at beyond the field eg. An historic ice-house.
The car park is only big enough for roughly 10/12 cars and there is nowhere else to park near-by. We visited on a weekend, but I would imagine during a weekday this would not be a good place to visit as there is a working quarry in operation in the centre of the 'walk'. (It wasn't in operation on the weekend).
I won't be visiting here again, sorry.

Lovely walk through the woods which leads into a massive open wild meadow where our dog could run free, follow the path at the edge of the wood to two ponds with bug hides...
Just a wee pond in Braidwood, but quiet and relaxing, not usually a busy place (that said, it's not a "ghost town pond" either). Usually, there's loads of ducks, I caught them crossing the road - could do with a better picture (but why do ducks cross the road?)
One of the best places in wakefield to get out and exercise in the fresh air feels like you are in the country side

Lovely "round robin" 40min walk, used by dog walkers,groups, and bike riders.
Easy walking but can get muddy after rain.a very sociable walk as after you have walked these paths you get to know other dogs and there owners (in that order!) There's a lovely pond in the middle of the walk,where you can see many veriaty of birds.

We have only recently gotten around to walking here however today we took the plunge!! The car park is quite small but there is a little overflow over the road. However the area to walk in is pretty and had some great dens to add to/build in the woods, some blackberries to pick, insects and butterflies to spot (although today these were few and far between) and some lovely benches to sit at. Taking a picnic and having a nice relaxed lunch would be great there and there is lots of space just to run around, trees to hide behind and puddles to splash in!!

The park is rather small but full of wildlife.. So despite being located next to a busy road it can feel like a little hideaway. One of my favourites local places for a daily walk.

A great way to get from Daybrook to 5 ways roundabout avoiding the polluted ring road. Look out for the crane (bird). Not advised during or after heavy rain as stepping stones may be covered or obscured with reeds.

It's a lovely walk. Plenty of dog walkers go here the only downside is that there isnt many dog waste bins. You can see squirrels in the tree tops as well as bats at night. There's also ducks in the pond
