Pleasant quiet park, dogs all under control. Will definitely return.
Lots of different trails you can go on, you can tailor it to however short or long you want. Great opportunity for some fresh air and a good podcast catch up. Free.
Very wet and in places muddy at the moment, but great for dogs and with great autumn colours
One of the best places in wakefield to get out and exercise in the fresh air feels like you are in the country side
There is a pond with birds fish and various other wildlife in the pond and round it
Big park with lots of space for playing football and just letting the kids run wild lots of wild life to see and appreciate
You can even train spot from the station or sat on the benches at the side of the tracks
What a wonderful place need to be used by everyone before it is lost to a car park for the station

Lovely "round robin" 40min walk, used by dog walkers,groups, and bike riders.
Easy walking but can get muddy after rain.a very sociable walk as after you have walked these paths you get to know other dogs and there owners (in that order!) There's a lovely pond in the middle of the walk,where you can see many veriaty of birds.

Nice little pond at the bottom, full of tadpoles 😊
