The service was bad, and the ice cream was even worse — the flavors tasted like artificial vanilla. The whole experience was disappointing. We decided to just get one cone and leave because after seeing how they served it, we didn’t even want to order a second one. We ended up going to another ice cream shop instead.
Nice place with loads of different options of ice cream, waffles and pancakes. Fast service if you order a waffle. Quite a lot of room to sit, but it is a bit outside of the main streets, so it is a bit more quiet. Lots of families with children and it does get busy.
Not too expensive, the waffle with Nutella, hazelnuts and one scoop of ice cream was around 8€. The waffle is enormous, so two people can split it, especially if it's not your main course.

Two scoops of soft ice in a cone for 20€. This is ridiculous. Since it is not of extraordinary quality or taste, this shop seems to be scam.
Beware: They don’t measure ice in scoops like everyone else on this planet, they measure it by weight, even the Cones themselves.

I'm a bit conflicted writing this review, but I do so for safety reasons.
The people working here and the food are both great. The reason I give a low star review, unfortunately, is due to the safety of this shop.
The shop has a spiral staircase leading upstairs (where bathrooms are located) with no handrailing of any sort. My 9 year old son fell from the top of these stairs, hit his jaw on a ledge at the top of the stairs on the way down, and tumbled to the bottom. Tears and bruises only - extremely lucky.
I know this is Greece, not everything is up to North American or even other European country standards, but when the workers started freaking out, asking if we needed an ambulance, staff arguing with each other, I get the impression this may not have been the first time something like this happened. Obviously, given the food offerings, this is a place children would be drawn to, so I feel this is a large oversight.
The staff response and desire to help was admirable. I don't want to take anything away from their efforts to help after the fact.

So 6.80€ for 2 small scoups of ice cream? I wouldn't mind to pay for excellent quality ice cream but unfortunately the quality at this store was below the average in Heraklion so the price is at no point close to reality. Hopefully the owners will take care of that. Definitely not recommended

Some of the best vegan ice cream I think we've ever had. Portions are generous and you can customise it to exactly what you want. I had a coconut milk base, summer berries with cranberries and hazelnuts. It was quite pricey but worth it.
You have to see it to believe it. I never heard of the concept, but it was incredible. The ice cream rolls are made in front of your eyes, using only fresh ingredients by people clearly passionate about their job. We had tiramisu, pistachio, strawberry and lemon pie flavour. I tasted them all, and liked the lemon pie best. The portion is quite big, so well worth the money.
We also didnt read the reviews... paid 11,22€ for 2 scoops of ice. Dont go here. But it tasted good.
I should read the review before I order the ice cream from google 😆😅. I think this ice cream store should ask the customer how many grams of ice cream they want rather than how many scoops as they sell their ice cream by grams. I asked for two scoops of ice cream and it costed €11. Their ice cream is €35 per kilogram.
After the replied from the shop, I think I have to make it more clear with my review: the ice cream is not worth the money. Also I was sitting outside the shop for about 20 mins and I saw most of the customers was surprising by what they had charged. The girl working there today looked lifeless and gave us almost no strawberries (from toppings), entirely diff than the picture and the yogurt was also small, flat, not full. Compare the pics for yourself
I had the most delightful experience at Ice Rolls! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and exceptional customer service. The ice rolls themselves were a work of art, not only in presentation but also in flavor. Went back for the frozen coffee multiple times, it was so good! Great customer service and quick service every time 😊

Without any doubts they are among the best in Rhodes island, even delivering to small islands in perfect conditions.
The cake they made for us was amazing (see photo) and the cheesepies, hot dogs, burgers were incredibly delicious and fresh!

My sisters/friend and I went to this place and it was amazing! The ice rolls were so delicious I am OBSESSED! The service was excellent. The two workers there are so nice and friendly. In Amsterdam we don’t have ice rolls so this was our first time trying. I definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely delicious ice-cream at a good price.
The most expensive soft ice-cream I've ever paid for. 12 Euro for 2 softies, that you can usually get for 1.5 euro the piece. Not to mention in my hometown they sell them for 70 cents. Tasty - yes, overprices - indeed. Nothing special sadly.
Very cool place and very nice people! If you want some speacial ice cream or crepes you should definitely come to this place. I recommend bounty malibu crepe and ice roll with white chocolate and malibu!! Would come back!

Once all the ingredients are mixed on a flat ice pan it is spread out flat till semisolid and the rolls are placed in a vertical position in an ice cream cup been topped off with various toppings and decorations.
And because of the glass frontage you can watch your rolled ice cream been created and our boys loved them.
It's located in the old town and as the shop isn't very big you can easily miss it.

Poor service from the staff. So slow in serving orders and not able to manage the customers or the orders. Below more detail.

When i complained to the server that he was serving someone who came later than me, and i told him that he should serve me first.
The server didnt apologies or serve me first. The server just told me, my colleague will serve you....
This is a message to the management of the shop.
"Dont let under qualified people, lacking the basics and minimum business ethics run the business on their own. They will just ruin your business and the customers will go away, exactly, like i went away".
I hope that my feedback will support to get some improvement.

As the name implies, this is a chocolate shop, but they also have ice cream. Expensive prices, friendly staff, and there's a wait, because the shop in in a busy pedestrian area.

Tasteful yogurt and perfect service! Even for a small portion they put so much topping! The staff is very kind, welcoming and attentive (if I remember well, Athena was there that day, and she served us with so much care, thank you!)

Don't let yourself get large/giga portion! Waffles are superb, rich with ingredients and super tasty. Service is fast and professional. For the price you get plenty. The Giga portion is easily for 2 or maybe 3. Overall excellent place.

Truly glorious ice cream, best I have had in a while! Do not leave Rhodes before trying! You pick the size of the cup/come and can have as many flavours as you like. I tried the coffee, tiramisu, salted caramel and iced latte flavours. They were all great but the iced latte was the best by far!! I have a nut allergy and the staff was really helpful and knowledgeable with regards to the flavours (as the gelato is made in house). Cannot recommend enough!

We went here after dinner 2 nights while in Rhodes and had some ice cream rolls for dessert. So fun to see them make it and they taste delicious 🥰 Welcoming and polite staff as well, we'll definately stop by again our next time here
Amazing service and the most insane Greek yogurt and fruit! A true delight in Old town Rhodes. Highly recommend a visit to anyone who is visiting Rhodes. I will certainly be returning whenever I next visit Rhodes

Really great place to break up the walk to the Acropolis. Very friendly and helpful staff and great ice coffee and ice cream. Extremely reasonable prices. Naturally, there is a washroom, too :)

THE BEST pistachio ice creams we have ever had. They're just genious. We took 1 and then on our way back another cause that was real, true pistachio. The feta-stuffed pie great as well. Truly reccommended! We wished we came across this place earlier, not the lasy day.

This one was a hidden gem for us, it was definitely the best ice cream and crepes we had in Rhodes!

We have tasted plenty of “fried ice cream” from Thailand, but them all are not even come close to what this place has got to offer.
The owner used (and I saw it myself)only fresh ingredients unlike others that uses mix powder, as you can actually taste the difference.
You can’t miss it, doesn’t matter how full your stomach is, you really need to taste of their ice cream, you won’t regret it.
I just wish he just simply open one more place in Stockholm:D

Good icecreams. But don't buy drinks! The glasses were poorly washed and dirty. Both the coffee and beers tasted dishwater and were undrinkable. Nice terrace on the roof to sit down, but be aware of steep stairs. Not very clean toilettes. Some of the staff had good service, others don't. I didn't accept creditcards.
Tasty ice-cream along with kind and friendly staff. Only negative thing I could say is the varieties are mostly chocolate based. Fruity fresh stuff is very rare. Still recommended!
Very polite and helpful staff. This bakery is in the middle from the castle in the old town and the Acropolis. We made a stop for coffee and ice-cream and it was well worth it. I recommend you to try the yoghurt-cherry ice-cream.

It is around 20 minute walk from where we usually go in the old town but it is worth the visit, the mushrooms flavours were really coming through nicely and the pastry was really nice. With a lot of options of pastries, cakes, ice creams and Baklavas and drinks it was a real asset for us.
We ordered an English breakfast tea which was also nice.
The toilets were good as well, they had to unlock them for us but it was good that they had some on site.

Very kind staff, delicious ice cream and great coffee. Dinner is also quite decent so I would definitely recommend that place!
the taste is good and the shop is nicely designed. there are a few tables and benches outside where you can sit and enjoy the ice cream. the toilet is very clean and this is a sign of respect towards customers. I saw there are based reviews towards the ladies that sell the ice-cream. most of them are very young and it's hard to act like your own business when you don't feel it. the manager should take care of that and find ways to motivate the personnel.
Nestled in the Rhodes old town world heritage site is Royo, an amazing wonder of the ice cream world. We had bubble waffles, with wonderful flavours of ice cream including Ben and Jerrys!! They also sell milk shakes, frozen yogurts and cold drinks. Service was excellent and with a smile. A must visit whilst you are in Rhodes!

Discovered this cafe in the heart of old town away from the bustling crowds. We had a hearty full breakfast and loved it so much that we came back again before leaving Rhodes. Taken care of very well by Athena and Nefise, provided excellent service and food in generous portions! We got a photo clicked with them as well, and got a lovely painted stone from them as a keepsake and reminder of a great experience. Highly recommended!
The charming young girl Yuli gave us such a warm and friendly welcome that we visited this place twice in one week! We had orange pie ice cream made with fresh milk- delicious! The coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice were great! There are fresh fruits and even liquors and the decor is quirky and interesting and the atmosphere of this cafe is cosy and inviting.

Io ho preso uno Smoothies alla fragola, veramente eccezionale. Il locale offre la possibilità di accomodarsi a dei tavoli, all'ombra degli alberi e la vista sul porto attraverso un portone aperto tra le mura è perfetto. Consigliato.
