Best Dance halls in Ireland

The food is great and the staff are fantastic but for some reason the DJ on a Saturday night incrementally turns up the music until you can't hold a conversation with the person next to you and everyone leaves.
Come 10:30 half the seats are empty because of it, it's baffling especially when neighboring pubs jammed till closing.

Nice restaurant with a nice menu but the service wasn’t great. We had to go and find someone to take our order. It was a Tuesday night so it was not busy.

I had a burger which was nice and my daughter had a pizza which she said was delicious and she devoured it.

Nice food but one staff came to our table just to remind us it’s needed for a reservation, twice, with 10 min left ( table was empty anyway at this stage and no setting up was done afterwards as we moved to a different table and noticed this) . Another one ran outside together with the manager, claiming we didn’t pay our bill. I had to return inside and show them receipt. I’m sorry I tipped… Do better guys. Nothing but a rushed “sorry” was offered.

Lovely meal and service great Lovely young men and woman serving tables so pleasant. I was there Christmas eve with my family and new year with my partner and despite the crowd's everything was perfect and a credit to all staff Had not been in for a while but I'll certainly be back

They over charged us on our first round which was awkward. Venue looks lovely but the function room we were in closed earlier than they advised and when we were relocated to another space the staff never delivered bar stools they advised they would bring. Wrong gin brought to one in our party and when staff were advised we were met with a shrug and then they walked off.

Overall first impression wasn't great but will try again mid week and see if the service is better when the staff aren't so rushed off their feet.

For a drink with 1-5 friends seems fine but I'd avoid for functions based on our experience and the poor quality food we were served.

Ladies at the reception are super unhappy with their work, which is really killing the atmosphere. Apart from that it was a nice experience, although I hope they would arrange time during the week for adults only. Would be much easier to roll without the kids, who tend not to follow the rules ;) Instructors that are rolling and helping are great, I wish all of the crew would be like that.

I went there for my 1st roller skating experience and it was great. There people were really amazing and patient. They taught me enough be able to slowly skate around the rink. There was always at least one person on the rink and whenever someone fell they would immediately attend and assist.

seriously?? this place might be okay for 3-7 year olds, but seriously.. this place is a nightmarish disaster.. went with my friend, these hand guards are absolutely unreasonably unhygienic, claim to “wash them” these haven’t been washed in years.
when i told them i had claustrophobia which is a perfectly reasonable thing to have, and i cant help having the disorder, was told i had to get off the rink if i didnt wear these disgusting hand guards. been here multiple times when i was younger and it used to live up to the expectations, but now it’s become some unhygienic mess

Good place to enjoy and spend the afternoon with your friends. It would be nice like a recommendation that they ask you a song you would want to listen when you are skating because some of the ones they put are very old-fashioned. But the experience was good

Great fun and the staff are lovely! They helped me so much correcting my posture, they noticed the wheels of my roller skates were a bit stuck and they fixed that for me. I’m so grateful with the attention they payed on us.

Staffs were so nice and food was so nice , big portions and loads of options you can pick from light sandwiches to big heavy meals. The price is also good. Atmosphere is so nice they have nice decorations and table design perfect for instagram. 3 adults with starter , main to dessert and 2 kids with mains and dessert €150 is a good price . ☺️💕 would definitely be back soon .

Cool experience, staff skating around and helping people if they need it. Lots of places to sit and put your stuff down.

We were heading south for a few days and needed to get some lunch so we dropped in to 33 South main. It didn’t disappoint. I had a cup of beautiful homemade vegetable soup with an open hot beef sandwich. It came with ruby slaw, stuffing, gravy, fries and some horseradish sauce. It was amazing. My wife also had the soup with a chicken sandwich and they were both very tasty and fresh. The menu is fantastic and the pizza is amazing too I believe. We will definitely be back soon.

The kid's thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Friendly, helpful staff both on the floor and at arrival's, although limited numbers due to covid. Well worth a visit.

🛼🛼We travelled up from mullingar as we have not skated in over 30 years to give it a go and within 10 minutes we were flying our we girl of 7 loved it and picked it up quickly the whole team running it are so sound every one was smiling and helping each other, toilets spot on, refreshments 100% too, plus good parking recommended too all
So don't dream about it, go do it get your skates on thanks to all at the rink.

This is a great place fir pub grub and a beer. I recommend the wings for starters and the fish and chips but all of the menu looks good. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. They have a great range of beers wines. Apparently the chardonnay is very good. The atmosphere is lively and they often have music at the weekends.
