Griolladh is a chain of grilled cheese shops based throughout Dublin. We went to the Arnott's location which was well branded and really stood out as you walk in. There is one vegan option which was delicious.
It was a special with vegan cheese, peanut rayu with some pickled onions and mushrooms. I wouldn't usually enjoy vegan cheese but I really liked it.
The service was quick and the location in Arnotts was super central.
Overall I would definitely advise trying this place out but it would be nice to see other plant-based options on the menu

If you are a truly a person who appreciates a great sandwich this is the place.

Get the high mile club sandwich and get ready for the biggest sandwich and most richest combo ever.

It is great and the people are awesome as well!!

Delighted with the service and the food!
I had a sausage roll. Sorry, I have to say… A fantastic sausage roll with a little kick of spice in flavour. I love it so much.
The girl at the counter was smiling all the time she was sweet and really polite.

5/5 recommend 100%!

Sorry I didn't have time for pictures it was too good to stop.

Nice cafe good coffee ☕️. They do not have many vegetarian food options. For vegetarian there was one cheese sandwich 🥪 and one wrap when i visited the cafe. They also have vegetarian soup and it is nice 👌 👍 😋
With outrageously delicious sandwiches and high-energy, friendly staff, this is truly one of Dublin's "if you know, you know" spots. The inside space is tiny and you might find a small queue, but don't let that put you off as these guys turn it over FAST. The menu has something for everyone and the bread options are insane. Real NYC deli vibes at a high quality and standard. Will be back again and again.

Bit of a wait on the weekend but that's to be expected.

Staff was very nice (and took allergies seriously) and the food was very tasty, but I was surprised with the disparity of prices on their website vs in person. Hash browns online are 12.50 including bacon, and in person they were 13.50 plus 2.90 for bacon. Please update the website!

I don't normally write reviews but felt this place needed it! Sandwiches are 10/10 tasty and fresh. The cookies are chewy and delicious and the coffee is banging. Everything was unreal definitely be back again. Give it a go well worth the dough 😉
food was excellent and I enjoyed it. The platter was massive, so go hungry! Well worth the price. Starter was delicious. Lovely, clean, and cosy space. I enjoyed the music in the background. Ordered a Chapman, and it was so good. Go with friends and place your food order early as it does take some time for it to be ready.

An excellent place for breakfast for Breakfast and brunch. The staff were very friendly and the place is fully packed. People sometimes wait in line for the food. We had the "Egg & Greens" and Buttermilk pancakes. It was delicious and we recommend the Matcha Latte too.

Small buzzy cafe, great for a weekend brunch. Really unique menu for Dublin that’s not a cut and paste of every other spot and that’s executed well. The hash brownies are legendary would definitely recommend them, scrambled eggs - perfect. Excellent coffee. My usual gripe applies of not being able to book a table, so if you go at the weekend expect a 20+ minute wait with a coffee in hand (acceptable for the quality of the food).

Everything was spot on! Food was delicious, atmosphere was incredible and I can't describe how kind and friendly the staff were. I went alone and was greeted and welcomed by the wonderful Hanna. She was incredibly nice and so knowledgeable, she was a pleasure to speak with. The rest of the staff were very attentive and warm. This was my first experience in griolladh and its been my go-to ever since!!

I recently visited Griolladh, the toast restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised by the delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy, and the menu boasted a diverse selection of artisanal toasts that catered to various tastes. The standout feature, however, was the attentive and friendly service, thanks to the manager, Hania. She exuded warmth and passion for the culinary creations, providing insightful recommendations that elevated our dining experience. Griolladh is not just a toast restaurant; it's a haven for toast enthusiasts, made even better by Hania's exceptional management skills.

Griolladh, the toast restaurant, impressed me not only with its unique toast offerings but also with the exceptional managerial skills of Hania, the manager. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the dining experience, from the thoughtfully curated menu to the inviting atmosphere. Hania's commitment to customer satisfaction was remarkable; she went above and beyond to ensure that patrons felt welcomed and attended to. Griolladh stands out not just for its delicious toasts but also for the outstanding leadership of Hania, making it a must-visit for those seeking a tasteful and well-managed dining experience.

Sambos were great, full of flavour, good portions, but I left the place smelling like chicken. Please invest in an extractor fan, the smell on my clothes and hair is terrible 😞
Saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try it for a while. You know when you see those videos they say "it was amazing" and when you try it its meh, well this place isnt one of those. The sandwiches we had were the Pastrami Melt and Hot Beef. They are good sizes and very very good tasting! The staff were very fast and kind.

Highly recommended!

My favourite sandwich place in Dublin so far, the food tastes amazing and the people are so nice, my favorite is mile high club, last time ordered NewYork Reuben with extra beef also good( Brown bread tastes nicer IMO)

Just mention that, 12:30pm- 1:30pm could be the peak hour.

I will absolutely go there again

The sandwich was hot and we absolutely loved it. It's juicy, delicious and full of flavour. The sir at the counter was really friendly and helpful. We went here because it has a high Google review score. The menu was a bit hard to understand for us tourists so we just went with the 147 special. The menu looks a bit expensive at first but you really get a worthy sandwich for your money.

Charming Cafe with Room for Improvement

My visit to sample the highly recommended pancakes was met with anticipation, perhaps too high of one. While the pancakes were delicious, they didn't quite achieve the level of brilliance I had hoped for. The berry sauce topping, while flavorful, erred on the sweeter side. I must say, though, the cream was exquisite, but I wished there had been a tad more of it.

As a devoted connoisseur of pancakes and French toast, I hold every dining experience to high standards, and these expectations can be demanding.

On a positive note, the coffee here was rich and satisfying. The service from the staff was a shining star; they were unfailingly courteous and attentive, even when the place was bustling with people.

One small downside is the cafe's size. They do offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, but Dublin's unpredictable weather means it's often off-limits due to rain and wind.

This cafe is a cozy spot with potential for even more greatness. The pancakes are good, and a slight tweak to the berry sauce's sweetness, bigger size and a tad more cream would make them superb. Paired with great coffee and exceptional service, it's a place worth returning to, with hopes of witnessing it achieve its full potential.
I ordered the salad bowl today and it was mentioned toasted chicken but they have boiled chicken and when I asked she was defensive. After I got home I checked the onion salad has stale smell.

No number to contact the particular store.

Excellent service and shop layout. Nice seating area and atmosphere. The breakfast was good quality. The coffee could have used some improvement, for an espresso it was very long, so a little watery (however, not bitter or sour in fairness). Overall, I would visit for a casual breakfast again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Slice Restaurant in Dublin, and I must say, my visit left me thoroughly impressed. Despite a slight wait of around 25-30 minutes due to the Sunday crowd, the experience that followed was well worth it.

From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance and warmth of the restaurant were apparent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping to ease the wait time and setting the tone for a pleasant experience. Once seated, I was promptly handed the menu, and my eyes were drawn to the tantalizing array of options.

After careful consideration, I decided to indulge in a variety of dishes that caught my attention. The Brunch Hash Brownies intrigued me, and I couldn't resist the urge to try Naniji’s Achaar as well. To complete my meal, I ordered a cappuccino and the Buttermilk Pancake. As I awaited my order, the anticipation grew, and I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail in the restaurant's decor.

When the food arrived, I was taken aback by the impeccable presentation. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully arranged on the plate. The Brunch Hash Brownies were a delightful blend of flavors, and Naniji’s Achaar added a tangy twist that was truly unique. The cappuccino was expertly crafted, providing a perfect balance of bold coffee flavor and velvety milk.

However, the star of the show had to be the Buttermilk Pancake. It was a culinary masterpiece, fluffy and golden-brown, topped with a generous drizzle of syrup. Each bite was a harmonious blend of sweetness and texture, leaving me craving for more.

The overall experience at Slice Restaurant was nothing short of satisfying. The wait, though initially daunting, was rewarded with a meal that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in both the food presentation and the restaurant's ambiance showcased the dedication of the staff to provide a memorable dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Slice Restaurant was a delightful journey for the senses. The delectable food, warm ambiance, and attentive staff combined to create an experience that left me content and eager to return. If you're looking for a place that offers both a feast for the palate and a feast for the eyes, Slice Restaurant in Dublin is undoubtedly worth a visit.

I took the Brisket and my friend the Reuben, I personally didn't like any of the 2 sandwiches. The brisket had a mix of taste that wasn't very good, same for the Reuben. The Brisket was way bigger than the Reuben in terms of quantity.

Beware. They close earlier than is shown in Google maps. Latte coffee here is the best in town.
We discovered here through Google Maps actually and yes, it is the best deli in Dublin, already became our favourite! We tried 3 sandwiches, mile high club, provincial ruben and the one with meatballs but I think you will not be disappointed in any of your choices. Per sandwich usually costs less that 10€.

+ If it is a sunny day, it is a delight to sit outside!
I really enjoyed the food here and would definitely prefer to order for take out instead.

There was long wait from the time the food was ordered to actually getting it. This is a fairly new establishment however I’m sure as time progresses they will improve on the service.

Went here today for the first time and I’m hooked. I love a good sandwich shop and it was so hard to decide which one to take here as they all sounded amazing. I got the chicken, bacon and ranch and the Nutella cookie, both which I recommend. Definitely got that royalty card cause something tells me I’m gonna be on a first name basis with the staff in due time.

Got two toasties. Had been to the truck in Bray a couple of times for the Chicken Pesto and was very impressed. Standard here isn't as good unfortunately and menu was different so I wasn't comparing like for like. I ordered chicco with creamy pesto. This had A LOT of cheese. Toasties seemed crisp on one side but soggy/greasy on the other, not sure if this is to do with the quantity of cheese? If it was crisp on both sides and had the same option as I had before in Bray it would be 5 stars.

Quite liked this hip sambo place - creative menu with a twist on regular sandwiches, polite staff, and good quality food. I got a Chicco with taco relish and some marinated onions and it was delicious (loved the salt chunks on top as well!). Overall would recommend as a quality sambo place for a quick bite, considering it’s on a pricier side.
Considering that this place looks like it looks, especially with cleanliness and garbage on the ground, I appreciated healthy meals that the place offers. Instead of fries and some other fast-food meals, I got couple of potatoes with vegetable and a big portion of meat in the bowl menu. A way to go!

Horrible attitude from all staff, making faces and screaming on customers. Probably worst customer service I have ever seen. Looks like they don't have a manager or supervisor in place. Coffee is done badly, milk froated incorrectly, sometimes left on its own, espresso timing over 30 seconds, foam not settled from bubbles. It's just unprofessional.

Coffee served spilling, gushing over edges of cups everyday. Every single day. Stupid as can be. They spill it over themselves and hand you burning hot coffee spilling everywhere. Not once but everyday. Just threw out my coffee as I had to try and spill so much out it became pointless. Dangerous. Dumb. Will never be back.

Went in on a free promotion, it's a strange cross between a coffee shop and a MACE garage. Staff are very friendly and fast and the food looks greag. The coffee is more along the costa/insomnia/Starbucks standard. If you're looking for something tasty, there is better coffee around.

Simple, fast and they have great muffins. Seriously, the muffins are better than anything you can buy from a coffee shop in the states. They just can't make you complicated drinks and their menu is very small. But, if you're a simple coffee drinker, check them out!

This was my second time here. The staff are always helpful and kind! The sandwiches are mouth watering! I usually have the specials because they just sound irresistible. They also always have a fabulous selection of pastries! Definitely worth a try!
Had to find a good place to water time while had the car tested. This place was a perfect match.
Server was very friendly and kind, place is clean and good price.
Will definitely return when having car tested again next year.
Really pleasant staff and fast service. I usually get a Flat White or a Cortado. Sometimes the flat white is just espresso with milk added and sometimes it is espresso with foamed milk added, which is how it is supposed to be. It depends on the Barista, they vary in ability.

I bought a sandwich today, Monday 15 February. The best before date was 16 February. The shelves were unusually empty so I asked the assistant was the sandwich on the shelf since Friday (as they are closed on Saturday and Sunday). She laughed at me and said they don't keep sandwiches for that long. She shared a joke with her friend in the shop in a different language and they both laughed. I bought the sandwich anyway because I was in a rush back the office. The sandwich was stale, so I've no doubt but that it was there since Friday. I won't be going back again.
