Best Neapolitan restaurants in Ireland

When ordering we asked for chips and the waiter responded confused so we said fries cause not everyone uses the word chips, fair enough they don’t have chips that’s okay, our mistake, we just don’t order them and moved on. As soon as the waitress left her and her colleagues proceeded to complain and laugh about us in front of our faces and LOUD, “just because you change the word doesn’t mean we’re gonna have them” how rude wth??? they were very nice to our faces which would’ve been good service had they not just stood and slatted us with only a glass window separating us. I understand customers are difficult sometimes and you’d like to vent it out but like come on at least be somewhat aware of your surroundings. other than the waitresses, the man that let us in early was really kind for that and the food was good but that moment ruined the vibe for us 🤷🏽‍♀️

Favourite Italian restaurant outside Italy - menu has a reasonable variety of pizza and non pizza options, fluffy Neapolitan base, excellent service, what’s not to like!

Pizza is 5 star. Great options available and very tasty. Staff is great but few times forgot extra orders so 4 stars. Definitely recommend it!

Great Pizza and Pasta. Veg Lasagne, Risotto of the day and Aranchini Balls were okayish. Dessert was not good at all.

Me and my wife were craving pizza so stopped by here after reading a few of the reviews. We shared a pizza, some garlic potatoes and a bottle of wine. The pizza was really tasty and authentic, and more than enough for both of us. The potatoes were awesome, especially with the truffle mayo dip. The service was excellent and the price reasonable. All in all a great little find that we would definitely recommend!

Stopped by Forno 500 for lunch, and wow—one of the tastiest meals I’ve had in a while! Their bolognese is absolutely next-level, rich, and full of flavor. And let’s talk about those roast potatoes...an absolute must-order, no questions asked! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The whole experience was fantastic, with friendly, attentive staff that made it even better. Can’t wait to go back! 🍝

I had a wonderful experience at Paulie's Pizza in Ballsbridge! The pizza was fantastic and highly customizable, with plenty of vegetarian options available. My personal favorite was the gnocchi pasta – it was simply delicious! The servers were sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. I’m definitely looking forward to my next visit!

My friend took me to this lovely place. On the wall there are so many postcards left by their customers which are so heartwarming and you can see how many people love this place.

I tried the pasta with shrimp and zucchini. It’s good but my friend said the taste was better and less moist last time.

I looked through the photos of the same pasta taken by others and each of them looks slightly different(with cheese, with pepper, or less moist ect). Saying this doesn’t mean I expect it to be exactly same every time! May go there again just to see if it would tastes better?

I am going to this place for some time now and they always meet my expectations and more. The place is absolutely great, the staff is amazing, the food too. They have the best wood fired pizza i ever tried in Ireland and maybe also the best i ever had anywhere ever. Any pizza you choose you won't regret, they are all amazing, from the dough to the topping, great quality and prepared at a high level. The desserts are also great, not a big choise but the one's they have are something special. All of the staff are great, they will look after you in the best possible way. Altogether, a great real Italian pizzeria that i will hardly ever stop visiting if everything stay at the standard as it is now. I highly recommend to go and try. You won't be disappointed.

Wow. After 3 years of living in Dublin I finally found my hidden gem. Easily the best pizza in town, absolutely friendly service, lovely atmosphere - especially when you sit outside on the sun. Just felt like holiday dining. I am honestly surprised how delicious the food was. I also recommend trying the fried mozzarella and panacotta. Will be back soon!🤗🫠

Great pizza, one of the best in Dublin, not sure I can say it’s the best though, but a MUST TRY nonetheless!!

Very good but base of dough was a bit dry, crust paradoxically was amazing, could’ve had a bit more flavour from tomato sauce and mozzarella perhaps?
Definitely needs MORE BASIL.

This was my second time to eat here and it did not disappoint. The staff are brilliant attentive and super friendly, pizzas amazing, cocktails on point especially when you order a jug to share great value and delicious deserts. We loved the atmosphere cool tunes and vibe will be back soon!

The service here was outstanding. Our single waitress handled a group of 12 exceptionally well. Very accommodating on the menu options. No one was left waiting for food for long and she was so very friendly. She left a great impression on the entire group.

This is still one of the best places for pizza, not only in Dublin but in Europe. Good quality ingredients, proper slow-fermented dough, and fantastic tomato sauce. Choose your favorite toppings and enjoy!
