We went as a group of 6 people. And we are a lot! A lot of appetizers/starters. Chicken, prawns, tenderloin, potatoes and veg broccoli tempura maki roll, dim sum, rice and noodles. We ate a lot and we enjoyed ourselves so much! Their service, ambience and food! Everything is great!

Food was good. Service was not that good. The condiments were not served unless we asked, we were not offered a fortune cookie. Not even asked if we wanted a dessert. They had lots of people waiting so they were pressuring existing customers to wrap up faster than needed
I have been coming here since early 2009 for many years. This is first time after recent renovations. I don’t think, I will return again. It’s completely lost its charm

Food, Ambience and the staff hospitality is really good, only issue is the restaurant is understaffed due to which wait time is longer specially when it is crowded.
I recently dined at House of Mandarin in Powai, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We ordered the pan-fried noodles with white sauce and crispy lotus stem, along with a refreshing virgin cocktail, and everything was absolutely delicious!

The flavors were outstanding, and the portion sizes were generous enough that we had leftovers to take home, perfect for four people. Each dish was crafted with care, showcasing a beautiful balance of taste and presentation.

Our server, Tatheer, provided excellent service throughout our visit. He was polite, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, enhancing our dining experience. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Overall, House of Mandarin is a fantastic dining destination in Powai. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional customer service. We will definitely be returning!

Stumbled upon House of Mandarin, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The food was exceptionally delicious, with quick service that made the experience even better. The best part? It wasn’t crowded, even on a weekend—a rare find for quality dining in the city.

It’s safe to say that people might be looking for a change from the usual asian joints, and this place offers exactly that. While it is on the pricier side, every bite is absolutely worth it. Definitely a must-visit if you’re craving authentic asian cuisine!

Don't miss dessert 🍪 🎂
A great spot for Chinese cuisine with an impressive ambience. We tried the stone chicken, chicken wings, and prawns in black bean sauce—all of which were enjoyable. It’s an excellent place for dining with friends and family, and the staff is friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.

Very different and new concept.
You can choose raw food of your choice then hand it over to chef and he will stir fry it for you.
Little limited verity, was expecting more.
Veg no veg cooking is separate

Very very helpful staff and knows everything
Overall amazing experience to try once for sure

Parking is little issue
Dessert options are limited
I had vegetable crystal dumplings, fresh mushroom lai style, stir fried hakka noodles and vegetables in chilly and black bean sauce.
All were very delicious and amazing hospitality.

House of Mandarin, Powai, Mumbai - A True Taste of China

From the moment you step into House of Mandarin, you're enveloped in a beautiful ambiance that truly reflects Chinese culture. The seating is comfortable, the tables are well-arranged, and the atmosphere is inviting.

Service is outstanding—the food arrives within 5-10 minutes of ordering, which is impressive. The manager frequently checked in to see if we needed anything, making us feel well taken care of.

We started with the coriander soup, which was not only delicious but also felt very healthy. The dumplings were soft, flavorful, and simply delightful. A highlight of the meal was the purple rice—we had no idea it existed, and it was out of this world! Paired with a rich, aromatic gravy filled with authentic Chinese flavors, it was an unforgettable experience.

Parking is another plus point; valet parking is available for 60Rs so you don’t have to worry about that.

Overall, House of Mandarin offers a beautiful experience from start to finish. If you're looking to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine in an ambiance that reflects the culture perfectly, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
It was a great experience at House of Mandarin Powai. We ordered turnip cake as a starter, a veg pot meal, and chicken bao, along with cocktails. Everything was awesome, and the staff were polite and attentive. Since it was our first visit to this restaurant, we had difficulty deciding what to order. However, Amrindar Mandal from the HOM staff recommended some dishes that were excellent in both taste and presentation.
I really loved the experience and food 🤩🤩…

This restaurant serves very yummy Chinese food, the quality and taste of dishes is really good. Guest can order dim sum, Sushi, very much recommended if you having meal here. The ambience is good with well spread out tables, the only factor they need to change as a part of atmosphere is, chairs, to elaborate more - the chairs are really uncomfortable, i noticed gueat in front of me changing tables just because of chairs, which even we did, so please go for tables with sofa only. The staff is very customer friendly and will suggest good dishes of you ask them and overall very good experience and worth going again.
Good place, ok atmosphere, great food. Service was sadly bad. We had a waiter take our order at the start and then we didn't see another waiter for the next 20 mins. Luckily the management were nearby and we ordered through them. Food is tasty but quite pricey

We were here for a get together with my toddler. Mr. Dinesh and other staff took care of my little one with his meal ,provided him high chair and kept him occupied with some props like coloring books etc. Food was really good they made sure we have a great time. Mr. Dinesh is really a kind hearted soul reflecting on his smile. Best wishes to the team.
A must-visit place for authentic veg and non-veg Chinese dishes along a range of drinks, cocktails and mocktails. Tried Sushi and dumplings and some Japanese dishes. Staff is courteous & attentive. Ambience is inviting. Valet parking available. I tried eating using the chopsticks provided by them and it was fun for a first timer. Overall a good dinning experience

Went in for dinner at this place since I love asian and this place didn't disappoint at all! ✨ Great service and the food was sooo good! We tried their thai curry and mezo goreng noddles. Yum! Haven't tried their wok yet which it is famous for, but until next time!
Quiet, peaceful restaurant serving good food with a lovely service.
Spacious, Chinese lights set up the decor with the lovely aroma of indo-Chinese food filling up the space. Menu has a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well as sushi. We had chicken dumplings in chili oil which were average, prawns in chili and black bean sauce and firecracker rice which was quite good, just would have liked bit more gravy in the prawns.
Good selection of drinks, cocktails and mocktails as well though this time we did not opt for any.
The food is nice, and while I did not find anything extravagant but delicious. The staff is knowledgable and warm and can help decide best things to pick.

Lovely Chinese.. good taste, the hot and sour soup was on point.. fried rice portion can be improved.. overall aircon temperature was very high, wait staff added service charge which wasn’t necessary as per the guidelines…

A nice place in Colaba you can go. Food is good especially you can select your own ingredients and spices . You have both Veg and Non Veg options. They will cook in front of you. Prices on the higher side . Place 5/5. Taste 4/5. Value for money 3.5/5. Service 5/5. You can go for experience.

All Stir Fry is one of the classic restaurants in Mumbai. We have been visiting the place for many years. It has kept up with changing times and the interiors and the menu feels fresh. The portion size is good, perfect for sharing with family. Must try is the house special chili potatoes. The Thai green curry tasted great too!

Thank you @themiradorhotel for Enchanting Sunday Brunch experience and what can I ask more to Feast in culinary heaven. It's a time of Cultural Fest, similarly it's time of Cultural Feast also. Attended "Great Indian Food Festival" organised by @themiradorhotel . Bring a Sunday I was more excited to eat more food as it was a Sunday Brunch too. Dining here since years, one thing I realized that, they never compromise on quality. Everything cooked fresh, served hot and fresh. I almost ate every thing on buffet they prepared.
Below is review.
Started with cool and refreshing Kokum Sharbat. Authentic taste. Little sour and sweet too.
Sweet corn soup - nice and sweet. No spice at all.
Paneer Tawa Pasanda - Couple of Paneer Slices stuffed with some masala in between. Nicely roasted till it became crisp on the edges. Ditto with Kale Chane ki Tikki which had more masala stuffing. Had with chatnis to bump up the taste. I love Awadhi Chatni though. It was so creamy and nicely balanced.
Also had Baby corn Satay and Tofu in Garlic sauce. Nice and crisp. Tofu was soft. Veg Tokyo Noodles had a strong wok flavor which was exactly required.
In mains I had Paneer Bhurji, Soya Chop, Veg Kheema. Veg Kheema stood out. Had mashed vegetables. Serves with Butter Pav. Also I had Anjeer Malai Kofta Curry - Extremely flavorsome. Strong punch of cardamom, clove. Rich gravy.  Served with Stuffed Kulcha, Aloo Paratha, Cheese Naan.
In Rice I had Palak, Methi and Dal Khichadi. Methi was not too bitter but you immediately taste that Smoky aroma and dal too. Add some ghee to it, raita too and you Wil love this.
I also had Thai curry and sticky rice which is my favorite. Strong coconut, aromatic rich gray, broccolis and other vegetables were part. Salads were fresh too.
I was not huge on dessert this time as I had lot of stuffs. Lol. I loved Mango Yogurt, Mango Malai, pastries were soft and melts in mouth.
Lemon Mojito to settle down everything at last.
What a meal. I love the authenticity of dishes. Main course live counters where you customise your order.
Definitely, A Sunday to remember!
Food quality and taste has gone bad.

For a group of 8 its too expensive. Hence i have changed the ratings.

The parking people too goofed up when we erre leaving. They instead of getting our car got someone else's car. Hence need to overhaul the whole thing to be more productive and customer service.
