Best Souvenir stores in Malta

Je déconseille ce magasin, le personnel est pas accueillant et les prix affichés ne sont pas les bons sur les articles et changent lorsqu'ils passent en caisse. À fuir !

Horrible!!!!! We left our luggage and some souvenirs that work piece of artwork AND THEY SMASHED AND CRASHED IT!!!! Horrible experience DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Came here today (30th April) and after going further down the high street only after I had bought 2 hats from here I wish I had gone elsewhere for souvenirs now
I bought 2 hats as gifts and was torn about which to buy as they have a decent selection I'll give them that, a young female shop assistant observed me and showed me a mirror I could try them on by and I appreciated her help but now rethinking about my time here today I found her a bit pushy
I got the 2 hats then came back later in the day to request for a refund or swap as I had changed my mind and the person I was buying the hat for suggested another colour as it wasn't their style so when I came back in the afternoon the female was still there outside and there was a rude male with a blunt attitude that I encountered I could see the shop was getting packed he kept saying to customers make room for other people it's hard to do that when the space is so cramped and tiny
I politely asked him could I return my gift I wasn't outright asking for a refund (despite having kept my receipt as proof) he refused and said no you cannot he didn't give me any reason why not my guess is that people have probably tried to return in the past after they've seen the same items sold for a bit cheaper elsewhere in Valletta's many shops and so I learned my lesson not to buy from the first souvenir shop that I pass...
Such a shame that I have to leave this review cos if I was told that you can't return etc when buying the hats in the first place I wouldn't have wasted my time to come back and ask

Located at the ground floor of the Castille hotel, adjacent the Migration Authority and the Malta Stock Exchange and Malta People & Standards Division.
It is one of the first shops tourists see.
The store has lots of souvenirs to choose from, a coffee shop on the right and a gourmet ice cream shop on the left.
The Saluting Battery garden is just by the corner as well.
Can't say about the prices but with this type of strategic location prices are expected to be a bit higher.
Do well to compare prices yourself.
I didn't shop here so I can't rate them Customer Experience wise.

Here's a souvenir shop with unique offering- you can keep your luggage safe with them for a while and be free to explore the city.
So when your cruise ship docks or you have checked out of your hotel and need to do some shopping before your flight you can keep your luggage with them, shop with them or shop somewhere else.
The shop is buzzing with gift items and souvenirs. They also have guide books on touring the city.
It is located right opposite the Malta Parliament house.
It is surrounded by a lot of shops, Churches, banks, ATMs, coffee shops, a bakery is not far from there.
Explore Malta without dragging your luggage along.

Excellent service, very friendly and very affordable luggage storage near the city gate in Valletta. We were very grateful to be able to leave luggage there before an evening flight. Thanks again.

10/27/23. Cruise Ship ported in Valletta. The Capital Souvenir shop had nice $5 sunglasses and Christmas tree decorations along with magnets and other gifts.

A must see visit to get all your souvenirs.

Souvenir glass bottles with sand are placed exact on the line of handbags, so it’s easy to accidentally drop them. And you need to pay for it. Each little bottle for 2 euros. When I exit from this shop I saw another one dropped bottle, so I think they placed there on purpose.

The staff were extremely rude. Friendlier stores are available in the locality.

Wonderful bus in the colours they used to be until july 2011. Lots of nice souvenirs, well priced and kind staff. And they sell stamps which are very hard to find on Malta. Lots of reasons to pay them a visit. Kind regards
