Im not complaining but I just hope the cleanliness can be improved. The entrance glass door itself was soooo dirty and full of finger prints like never ever wiped before. I almost couldn't touch it.
Its a place which reflects Christianity and I wish that it can emphasise a more pleasant experience. Thank u.
Studies music here. Rate is relatively affordable and quality of tutorial is good. Food prices is however on the high side.

Attended a course there and much regretted, time and money wasted. I was mislead by admin that advertised the teacher's qualification as qualified teacher but in actual fact the teacher hasn't completed the field of study, nor has gained the paper qualification yet. I only found out this on the first class after paying full payment plus membership fee.
Teacher came to every class mostly unprepared of what to teach, no proper teaching outline. There were few times even students had to correct teacher's mistakes and tell teacher what to do.
Teacher made students "fly" while students still need to learn how to "crawl", unable to find out students weakness and teach accordingly.
Teacher was totally inexperienced, unfocused on teaching, unprofessional, wasting time on every class, first 15 minutes talking about non-related personal things just to let the time passed without teaching, the last class even wasted more than 30 minutes talking own personal stories. Teacher's rating 2/10.
Classroom arrangement always changed by admin.
YMCA has lost it's glory and their mission statement. My mum joined the senior citizen club. Due to the staff not doing their job they appointed a member who checks on people by stopping other members midway from dancing to check on their membership and request you leave. This self-appointed person will boss you around where to sit, how to talk and who can come in. I am caregiver for my mum of 79 years old who has dementia so it is very disturbing for my mum to encounter this rude person. Now they organise senior citizen club events on a weekday, which is not fair for working family caregivers. The event is a pot luck that YMCA does not pay for and is paid for by members.
For their own charity drives, they will always have it on a weekend. And boy do they pester you to buy their tickets! You will get countless of whatsapp, reminders personally, to stop dancing just to repeatedly ask you to buy tickets and they are RM90 a pop.
Should you like to be marshalled by a rude senior citizen and treated unfairly, this is your place.
I use to join YMCA activities when I was a youth. It has lost the glory days because of very unemphatic staff. Is ironic isn't it that YMCA when their mission is to bring fun.
YMCA is an old hostel but well kept. Service is very good as always. Staff are approachable and friendly and can be trusted. It's location is very accessible to KL Sentral and NU Sentral and the Indian and Chinese restaurants leading to the monorail. Looking forward to using the new structure presently under construction!
Great location. Large rooms though the attached Bathrooms are a bit basic. Friendly staff and it's advisable to book your room as it's often full.
Very comfortable beds.
Dr ARC.
Very basic, dun expect much
The shower has no holder, shower screen shakes cos rails were broken
The best part is the location, very close to KL Sentral, convenience stores and coffee shops
Indian lady at reception is insanely rude. No good manners. Straightforward ignorant.
She ruined my whole staying there just from the first day so I decided to cancel my reservation and took my refund.
More than that the owner said you’re not welcome and she will put me on a black list just because I wanted to extend for one more day
If you like actually getting a good sleep this is not the hostel for you. The location is very loud, and the guest coming back from the organised pub crawl at 3 am in the morning basically shouting outside the dorms.
The rooms are okay, but the worst that I’ve had in a hostel so far with no curtains, a stained duvet bed sheet and really basic.

If you want to meet a lot of people it’s probably a good place for you to stay, but if you prioritise a good sleep at all definitely not.
The place to stay in KL, staff are amazing and everyone is so friendly. If you’re here on a sat or Tue go to the pub crawl busy night out I’ve had in forever. Special shout out to Tina who runs the whole thing and made sure everyone stayed together and kept the party going ❤️❤️❤️

The check-in and check-out is so slow. They must modernise the processes. The desk clerk on duty was rude to us and spoke to us with an evident racial bias. Was preaching us than providing efficient service!

The saving grace for this hostel: a large car park and location in Little India.
The 2-bed “loft” style dorm was air-conditioned but unbearably hot on the upper level. They allowed me to switch to a more traditional 2-bed dorm and while very small, it was great! The staff were fantastic, the place has tons of character, and the downstairs cafe is great. The only other “issue” is that not all showers have anything close to hot water. Once you figure out which ones do, you’re set.

Stayed for three days, and I felt safe and at home thanks to its vintage vibe. The property has been well-maintained. The room and toilet were very clean, and it was right next to the MRT, a very convenient location.
Pro:
Location - there are plenty of places to eat and things to see without it being too crowded or noisy. Easy access from nearby station to other parts of KL, although I spent most of my two days in this vicinity!
Atmosphere - really nice atmosphere with lovely, friendly people staying. Nice communal areas and rooftop area to meet other guests. There are activities most days.

Con:
The room and bed I stayed in was right next to the lobby, where some guests would hang out at night. Due to bad sound insulation and build of the hostel, the noise would echo and travel into the room easily even if the guests are not talking so loudly. The night staff do not seem bothered about asking guests to keep their voices down (perhaps because they don't know how loud it is in the dorm room). The door to the room would bang shut rather than close quietly. I could hear people climbing stairs and walking around upstairs above my bed. Even with earplugs I could not sleep well. The building is old and has plenty of charm, but there are some downsides to this.
On my first night I could only find the cold shower next to the lobby. The sign inside the shower says it is a warm shower, and for cold shower to go to the showers opposite. I later found the showers "opposite" (i.e. in another part of the hostel) are the warm showers! They are also a little bit more private, with more hooks to hang your clothes. I did find the cold shower refreshing after a long hot day though!
Bed sheets were stained and after reading reviews of bed bugs I was worried. Luckily I did not get bitten once - I'm sure the hostel is tackling the issue!
Nice and good environment
The hostel is really nice. The room we had was spacious. The ac was really good. The cafe downstairs does really good food, we went there for breakfast and dinner. There are loads of other restaurants all along the street so there's plenty of nearby options. The location is very good, near the central market! I'd recommend staying here.

Just 100 mts from MRT station Merdeka. The famous Merdeka 118 building is opposite.

Wide road and clean neighborhood. Very near to Chinatown. Good access to food
Firstly be booked a private room with my friend and the room was so small you couldn’t even open the door properly. Bedsheets and pillowcase were dirty, BLOOD stains and also a lot of little black dots all over. Slept there one night and in the morning our friends found 3 bedbugs in their room and they noticed they had bites all over them. We obviously did not want to stay in the hostel after that and went to the reseption to talk about the sitution. The staff were not helpful att all, pretty much all they said was that the bedbugs were only in one room and they dont know where they came from. Didn’t get anything refunded. And as far as our friends did get 2 ”upgraded” rooms in the same hostel and both of them had bedbugs in them. There were bedbugs literally on the bed after the staff had checked the room. And the staff had the audacity to blame our friends for putting the bedbugs in the new rooms on purpose. Later noticed that we also had bites on us, so i do not think for a second that there is bedbugs only in one room. Also there was supposed to be a jacuzzi in the rooftop, but its was under repair. Would have been nice to know that in advance. Also the pictures of the hostel are very generous and reality is abolutely something else. Would not book this hostel again.

Loca.tion : Central of the city, rooms are basic, clean, brightly lit. Shared toilets outside of the room. Not for fussy people looking for luxury. Only for ladies, or family
We had an overall good stay here. staying for 3 nights in a 2 person dorm.
Good aspects:
friendly staff, clean facilities, a cold Jacuzzi
comfortable bed with good AC, A piano and board games.
5* tours with Tina around town and to the Batu caves which allowed us to meet some great people and have a social time in the evening. They have great tours everyday.

Bad aspects:
It was Malaysian day so the noise on the Friday from outside kept us awake most of the night. On Saturday, the 2 lads next door did not respect the quite policy. They Kept opening and closing the door, knocking and talking loudly. Disturbing the peace literally until 6am.
The last point which kinda annoyed me is that the receiptionist wouldn't change a 50 to get a beer from their vending machine. The guy behind the desk said he would get in trouble for giving change. Luckily a shop is just downstairs.
overall not the best hostel I've stayed in but definitely not the worst. Great location for seeing KL and meeting some good people

Hostel to cater for IIC male students. Sufficient facility for students provided but need a lot of upgrade and repair. Students may not feel comfortable with the room condition but overtime it should be ok.

This building is seep in history, the structure reminded me of sturdy government quarters filled with old charms. Safe for ladies, walkable to the halal mee tarik at jalan sultan alongside other interesting cafes. Nx to MrT Station, walking distance to China Town and central market. Available free parking too. Helps to sustain the place for them to continue to unskill the B40 communities

I stayed a night here and it was pretty good! It's a really nice and quiet location at night but may be noisier during the day. The space itself is very welcoming and clean. It's an old building and it evoked a certain nostalgia with its look and feel.

The room I stayed in was simply furnished and had whatever I needed for a short stay. It would have been perfect if there was an extra pillow and a small mirror.

The bathrooms were quite clean and had all the basic amenities I needed.

I checked in quite late and the guard and staff were really helpful! Check-out in the morning was a simple process as well.

I'll definitely be back here if I need a reasonably priced and comfortable place to spend a night or two.

Clean room and staff service ok , also ok for the price , but only book if you can accept :

Very badly designed apartment layout
- carpark not well interconnected (need take very specific lift and there is many lift )
- old building
- old design with many compartment and many doors
- check in counter a distance from room
- extremely confusing layout and tremendous amount of effort understanding it ( lift not accessible to basement 2 , need take lift to basement 1 and then walk )
- very slow check in and out , tedious procedure (15 min each )
Good place to stay a few nights and enjoy KL city. It seems it used to be a Christian school for girls only. Shower works perfectly and are clean. Room cleaning was reasonable but there was no room service nor change of towels. No face towel, just bath towel. No laundry too. Good closet with hangers. There was a table and two chairs in the room so we could work fine. Wifi connection was not great but I'd was possible to work. The place is well located. 5 min from china town. 2 min to the metro station.

The common areas look nice in the pictures but it looks like they are not in use. Windows are always closed, lights down and nobody there.

Lokacija je odlična i cijena je dobra. Blizu su i trgovine i metro i autobus i sva veleposlanstva. Do Petronas Towers šetnjom stigneš za 15min. Nightmarket je udaljen 10min pješkice. Dobar i jeftin restoran u zgradi, apoteka i frizer. Vešeraj, teretana i bazen dostupni.

I like it
They have a parking space and 24/7 security. It's so safe especially travelling alone around. The mrt is just few steps away. The location is so convenient to shop, get your daily stuff and also you get to walk around. The bathrooms are clean so, you don't have to be worried about the sharing bathroom. The lights in the room are bright. Unlike some places I have stayed. I feel like home. Thank you!

college hostel
It's a nice place to stay. There are shops and a mall nearby, LRT Taman Melati is just a walking distance.
