Found this shop on Google. Surprisingly, the boss is exactly as most of the reviews stated: friendly, patient, highly experienced, professional, and able to accurately address my car's issues. I would say he is one of the best in the industry when it comes to solving car problems.
My car was would not start and I was at Gurney Drive at 11.30pm and am a visitor to Penang. I was so lucky that I managed to get him who came in 10 minutes told me what’s wrong. And made arrangements for it to be fixed next day. Superstar service couldn’t be more amazing. Thank you Nick.
I'm new in Penang and found this workshop on Google maps. I swear to god, this is my first time and last time visiting this workshop. If your car problem is towards electrical sensors etc issues then better don't visit here. He said will try with level 1 troubleshooting with his "computer", however what he did is actually scan the error codes and clear it. As expected, the fault code is back again after the car is restarted. He charged me around RM80 for this so called level 1 troubleshooting which took less than 10 minutes. A small workshop with not much staff and customers, but good in 🔪 customers
My car broke down at roadside and can't move yesterday. Luckily the boss still available although it was already late mid night. Boss help me to start the car and help me solve the problem. Thank you very much. The price is very reasonable and out of my expectation, i thought should be higher. Very good service and will come back do servicing for other parts next time.

its very upsetting .when i go to this workshop i wanted to repair my car ,ahsan was nice guy to nego n bargain.we exchange numbers since I'm unable to start the repair if the parts are not yet available. untill now(4-5 months) he didn't call at all to arrange anything with/ for me. damn sad.
High Enthusiasm in solving ur car problem (something really missing among mechanics these days) with close update accompanied by videos to show you where ur car went wrong. The owner cum mechanic answered my call even when it was 7am! After hearing of the issue, he advised me to topup with water and drive to his workshop to check the car engine overheat alert. He called after 30 mins to ask if everything was alright as the workshop is only 400m away and I have not reached. When we arrived, he took out his radiator pressure kit and found the issue immediately. Gave me a quote and estimated repair time. He got it all done very fast by dismantling first while waiting for the replacement part. Assembled upon receiving the part and car was ready within the hour. He was very efficient, soft spoken and charges were resonable especially when he could have easily quoted me double and I still have to take it.

The best service ever never thought they can settle my car issues within one day accurately in half day. My car broke down last night in the city we not familiar with any workshop. We really just rely on Google to solve this matter. Thanks Google we found this shop. The staff help us to tow my car at the lowest price. Then they diagnose the car and expected alternator problem. They immediately start the fixing work after we agreed on the price. Everything goes well..we can collect our car at 7pm. Nearly 6 hours time. They are very professional in their work. Fair price for this immediate solving for people like us who come to Penang for vacation instead of this miserable car breakdown. We are very pleased and thankful.. we really recommend this place.

Ok ok only. Send in my car for checking/servicing. Spend hundreds but came back engine oil leaking. Went again second time telling shop oil leak, pay another hundreds, still came back the same!

The boss of this shop. People call him mechanic of the mechanics. Many mechanic bring car they can’t repair to him. I have great experience with him. He solved my previous BMW steering rack problem where all other mechanics include Auto Bavaria claim can only be solved by replacing the entire steering rack.
Went to repair my old hyundai car. The boss very helpful and professional. Immediately able to check what was wrong. Should have brought to this workshop earlier. Good place to service your hyundai cars.
One of the good continental car mechanic to visit. The owner Mr Guan, was sifu in common problem happened to all Continental car's model such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi and so other. But,........... the owner Mr Guan, quite langsi sometimes, i got few complaint about him, when u bring your car to tell the problem, he just listen and not listen, take for granted. Maybe because rich customer only he treated well I guess🤣 So.., Mr Guan, treat nice to all customer laaa and smile also, remember lorr, not just u can repair the car customer will happy maa, good services that you provided also will be give such credited to u. Don't langsi maaaa...it won't get u fly sky if langsi, and it won't drag into grave if u stay humble. 😏

Bad experience on this lousy workshop.Replaced me the lousy parts rotor disc & expansion tank(Hella brand).My bmw steering wobbling cause by the lousy rotor disc.Most worst is the expansion coolant tank.Just run not more then 1000km suddenly burst.Break down at the roadside.

Very skilled and experienced. Another strength of the boss is he's one of the few old school mechanic, with scruples. He's earned a reputation among the expat community, through word of mouth, that he's fair in his charges and does his job well. All the more impressive since he doesn't speak English. This observation was from my only visit about a year ago ;-)

This is my favourite car workshop, I send my cars for regular maintenance and repair. In my years of experience on car maintenance, being able to quickly and accurately diagnose a problem can avoid big auto repair bills. When you send your car for repair here, they could ascertain the problem and fix very confidently and discuss with you on the plan of action almost immediately.
The partners/owners were working with established auto company before they start up Cartech. Many of the technicians have been with the company for 20 years or more. You can be assured that the parts and repairs are of high quality all the time. I always recommend my friends to visit this workshop and they later became the repeat customers.

Nice when there's a waiting room with aircon plus free WiFi for waiting your car to be service for 1 r 2 hours. And the person remembers me! Oh ya, the price is much cheaper than other places.
However.... today a loooooong wait, from 10am till 12:30pm....and now... 3:30pm. No informing on they would take so long.... I'm hungry and wanted to go to the toilet so badly. I have to take back the stars. Bad bad bad experience.
