Staff is friendly but mostly clueless and not well trained. They recommend the wrong products and give incorrect advice basically every time I ask them anything. I have stopped counting how many times I had to come back and return an item that turned out wasn't what I needed. Really frustrating.
The best and cheapest option. Not mentioning the availability and the quality.

Nice store but nothing special. The Gamma in Haarlem has much more employees and provides a more spacious store, more building material (same owner). The idiots that this store hires are beyond description. I tried to buy two 40cm wide shelves, however one was marked 60cm and 2 people were trying to argue that they were not in error while they were literally stacked on top of each other.

I was helped by Stijn from reception today. He was extremely patient and friendly. Due to the fact that I was buying a showroom model, there was a small missing part that Gamma no longer have spares. Stijn went back and forth to the store to find the compatible screws. When we realized that specific screw was not available in Gamma,Stijn suggested me to look into local hardware stores. He even wrote down the spec of the parts and shop name in detailed for me. Last but not least, Stijn also helped me to get an extra discount due to the condition this product. I really appreciate his proactivity and patience while handling my case.

It’s a well equipped Baumarkt…you can find almost all necessary buildings materials and equipment’s with reasonable price. Almost all kind of brands items are available there. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended ✌🏻

Went to Gamma tonight to get materials for our garden. An employee named René helped us and he provided incredible service. He spent 20 minutes with us to help us load heavy materials and even gave us packing materials to protect our car. We were super appreciative of his help and professionalism. Thank you!

very bad experience. You cant reach them. They are never available they do not answer your questions on the e-mail. I will never order there again.
Huge and vast bricolage and DIY store. Here you can find literally everything you might need for your projects, prices are pretty fair and availability of wares is assured.
Hard to spot entrance in a pretty dangerous spot with intense traffic and plenty of bikes passing by, be careful.

Praxis is a nice store for household items. I visited for my gardening stuff and found Praxis as a preferred store based on my research. Also, the people working at Praxis were really nice.. they trying to help you with your search and provide good tip. My experience was nice!
Super friendly staff
The staff were a bit hostile when I went to pickup my post package. They asked for ID which I gave and then they asked for my passport which was really strange considering I provided them with a Dutch ID! I obviously questioned why they would require a passport while Im giving them a valid Dutch ID and they said it’s needed!!!! So I said I will call postnl and have them confirm that because that’s really weird, that’s when they gave me my package!

%50 of employees are too lazy to assist and/or give wrong information and wrong products. I adked for a water based primer, they gave me terpentine based primer. The list goes on.
Great DIY shopping with good regular discounts on any product when you get the membership card.

This GAMMA location is very accessible through the nearby highways and the direct connection to the centre of Veghel. The store is large and has a wide assortment of goods. In my frequent visits of the past few weeks I have had very positive experiences with the employees in this store, who have helped me find the exact thing I needed on a number of occasions. At checkout they are always friendly, a helpful reminder to check for discount coupons, and most often have a smile on their face.
One drawback of this large store is that sometimes it is difficult to find someone for help when you need it in the store. There have been times where I was only able to find employees at checkout, which is not the most convenient.

Just bought an extension cord, they charged me different price in the checkout than the actual price. Because their systems were not working at that time, I couldn't get my refund. And the cashier was too rude to me. Not quite what I expected as a service quality.

The assortment was to include car wipers. Despite the fact that the staff indicated the number of the alley, the product was not found. Mistake.

Handy to go and collect your order and happily still open for business.

Large DIY store in a popular shopping area. Parking is good but can get very busy at weekends.
Had everything we needed but cashier was rude.
I have been there today. The store looks great and big, but the staff was not very helpfull. We can hear they laughing together somewhere hided. Finally they came out, about 5-6 minutes later 4 of them. Asked: ,,Can i get some help? -No answer, From somebody? -No answer. Anybody? I asked them 3. Time already... They started to pointing each other like nobody wanna help me or work. I felt ashemed and i dont think is normall to beg for help for 4 workers at the same time without any respons.
The cashier guy asked us: Did we found everything what wanted to buy? Be Honest after that you wanna say no?

Had quite some stock problems regarding paints, paint rollers, and sandpaper as well as queue's of three quarters of an hour for admission on Liberation Day. Usually, the basics are here though.
My customer service experience varies greatly from employee to employee; a couple are really good, and a few not so much.

Totally loved this store, a massive range of diy and building materials to choose from. There is also a saw and bench located at the exit in case you need to cut your planks or poles shorter to fit into the car.
This one is smaller than Gamma and it makes everything so much easier to find. The stuff is friendly and helpful. The variety of goods is not great though I managed to find everything I needed.

Store is nice, good size. However I went there yesterday to get a small pot of paint. Was told by an employee they couldn't mix paint pots anymore due to the time. Mind you, I was the only one there at the desk, it was 16.50 and it was a 250ml pot.
I talked to the person who decided this and was told they wouldn't mix after 16.45, the manager approached me at the till to say they would mix the paint as an exception.
Last time I checked, if your store closes at 5, you sell and work until 5, not 16.45. This is the reason I try to buy local as much as I can and why retail shops are closing down.

A really nice shop to buy modern furniture and deco. It was a blast!
We've ordered a carpet with a delivery and at the day before delivery they called and declined to deliver it to our floor, only to building entrance in contrary to what we have payed for. We were disappointed and canceled order.

Out of the 2 stores that sell to a similar market located here, this one is more friendly towards customers. Good price point, good selection of goods. I come here often to get things I need.
This is a convenient do it self shop, where you can get anything to do repairs in your own house! You can even let the paint be made in the colour you wish. Also it has lot of tools and material you need for any job around the house, and it is not too expensive!
It's OK as far as a local diy store goes, but you've really got to be in luck and ask the right question to the right member of staff if you need anything more than just basic advice. The collection is pretty big and some of the weekly deals can be good
The first construction market I know in Zaandam and in the Netherlands actually. It’s my favorite place to shop anything I need for my house. Sometimes I just love to chill here and walking around. Their personal are professional and very friendly with big smiles always, that you will never see it by any other competitors building warehouse!

Since I'm not really a handyman, I got redirected to the Hubo for some power sockets (little did I know ya only had to make a hole in the lower part of a power socket for the wiring. So maybe someone wasn't having their day...)
The knowledge of what exactly is for sale and any questions regarding everything varies vastly from store attendert to store attendent.
The assortment of what they have also changes quite a bit from year to year which is a shame if you are looking to replace the blind you bought the year before....
Paint department also doesn't seem to know their own inventory of what's getting delivered. Quite a shame.
