Leider geschlossen, wirkt aber sehr schön und anmutig von außen
Fraai voorbeeld van kerkelijke architectuur (1965). Mooi klinkend orgel uit 1976, met veel materiaal uit 1862 van Merklin. Vitale geloofsgemeenschap. Iedere zondag dienst om 09.30 uur en 17.00 uur.

Prachtige moderne kerk. Heel anders dan alle andere kerken. Ik kom er weleens om op een donderdagmiddag een lunchconcert bij te wonen en dat is iedere keer weer een aangename beleving.
Mooie plek om een (klein) concert te houden. Bijzonder mooi gebouw en daarmee een hele mooie omgeving voor een evenement. Zeer goede begeleiding en medewerking van de koster. Ik ben er niet op zondagmorgen geweest, maar ik denk dat het ook als kerken prima plek is

Een prachtige parel verborgen in de schaduw van de Eusebius in het midden van de stad. Indien je Arnhem bezoekt is het absoluut je tijd waard! Echt mooi vanbinnen.

We went to the ‘Vincent meets Rembrandt’ light show in the Noorderkerk. I thought the light show was pretty cool, but the story that was being told about the connection between Vincent Van Gogh and Rembrandt van Rijn was nonsense. I didn’t expect a great storyline though (because the two artist lived in different centuries). I did enjoy it and I think 45 minutes was enough. The bean bags on the floor were very comfortable and the church was beautiful. I think this is a nice thing to do in Amsterdam for tourists.

Magic place for cultural event, especially music concerts. I had an opportunity to visit the church during Le Guess Who festival and it was great.

Doesn't this church look familiar? It is very similar in design to the Koepelkerk in Amsterdam. The design was indeed copied, after the original church that stood there was demolished in 1817. In 1839, the new church was built and soon housed the Yellow artillery riders, a division of the Dutch army.
The building itself has seen some modifications through the years. Most notably are the columns that were raised by 1,5 meters.
And if you want to arrend a church service on Sunday, you might just be on Dutch TV as the services are regularly televised.

Holy place to charge spiritual battery in the neighborhood. Nice modern architecture different from traditional church architecture.

Nooit in de grote zaal geweest , maar regelmatig in een kleinere zaal als bezoeker van de NVBS afdeling Den Haag. Heden goed geregeld wat betreft de maatregelen in verband met het corona virus!

Voor mij een warme nest... Als dove voel ik me welkom alsdeen dienst georganiseerd wordt dat ook voor doven toegankelijk is.
Hele fijne kerk kom er iedere zondag voor de dienst en hele fijne gemeenschap
Feitelijk heb ik in een Protestantse kerk niets te zoeken want ik ben Katholiek. Bij de Christus Triomfatorkerk kom ik echter geregeld langs voor hun Bazars. Onlangs was er een Kerstbazar in de hal. Vanzelfsprekend met kerstspullen variërend van retro kerstballen, kerststallen, lichtjes, kaarsen, kerststukjes maken en oliebollen (van de dominee) met koffie of thee. Erg gezellig om alvast in kerststemming te komen. Ook is er eens per jaar een bazar zonder speciaal thema. Sieraden, tafellakens, beddengoed, kleding, een rad van fortuin en een viskraam of taart met koffie of thee. Vandaag ben ik er voor een speciale actie geweest voor de daklozen. Er wordt door een dameskransje shawls en mutsen gebreid. Ook bestaande shawls kunnen langs gebracht worden, hetgeen ik deed.
Fijne kerkgemeenschap.
Samen als eenheid elkaar bemoedigen.

Noorderkerk (Northern Church) was built in the early 17th century on demand by the common people living in the Jordaan.
This church is the only symmetrical church compared to the Southern Church and Western Church located in the City centre of Amsterdam. It reflects thre Renaissance and Protestant style.
The church still has an active community today.

Spectacular church! I've been hearing a concert there and were impressed by everything. Starting from an interior and exterior of the church itself, up to acoustic and musicians.
Bij deze kerk moet je even stilstaan om 'm te ontdekken. Het gebouw ligt op de hoek Hobbemastraat en Paulus Potterstraat, met de ingang ook op die hoek. Aan de buitenzijde is de oorspronkelijke architectuur - stijl: Amsterdamse School - goed behouden. Deze sluit ook mooi aan op de omgeving. Binnen oogt de kerkzaal wat rommelig, en lijken div. aanpassingen niet altijd even optimaal op elkaar afgestemd.

Noorderkerk is a small Protestant church in the northern area of Jordaan, along the Prinsengracht. While there isn't much to see within the church, it is interesting from an architectural point of view. Opening hours 10am to 6.30pm (October 2016).
This church was built between 1620-23 by Dutch architects, Hendrick and Pieter de Keyser. It is symmetrical and laid out in the shape of a Greek cross, demonstrating Protestant ideals over traditional basilica shape and design of other Hendrick de Keyser churches like Westerkerk and Zuiderkerk. The exterior can be viewed nicely from the Noorderkerk market grounds just outside the church and by walking around the building.
The interior of Noorderkerk is very simple with white walls and ceilings devoid of painting and decor, tall and narrow windows with clear panes, simple iron chandeliers, pulpit and a centre stall area where services are held. The organ is presently covered, seemingly for repair. You can take a quick walk around and see everything in just a few minutes.
In the end, Noorderkerk is a simple church that is fine to visit if you plan to be in this area of Jordaan and enjoy historic buildings. There is a open food market, Noordermarkt, held in the space just outside the church on Saturdays. A combined visit is sensible and convenient.

I'm so blessed with this church, its not just a place to attending a Sunday service but its also a place where i feel home and treated as a family.

Life community church is een hele leuke gemeente. De dienst is super interessant. Deze gemeente is zeker om aan te raden om er een keer een langs te komen. En om de dienst te volgen. :)

As much as I like the calming influence of the church, this review is actually for the flowermarket on saturday. During summer a large part of the square is scattered with people selling flowers and little trees, in autumn/winter a core group of flowersellers are positioned against the church. The ones from a stall of brightly coloured girls and some guys (priced €12,50) stay fresh for long but some other stalls have a nice batch too...Depends on the variety, day, time you visit. At the end of the day they will have a slight discount.

Located in a charming little neighborhood. Not much tourists in this area. However, it was closed when we visited so we were only able to see it from outside. Its material is very true to classic Dutch engineering and somehow looks asymmetrical.
Een fijne locatie op te verblijven omringt met leuke winkels en restaurants. Altijd gezellig het hele jaar door. Met vriendelijke groet Kennisbouw bv.

Heerlijk hippe PKN kerk in het centrum van Utrecht! Boordevol met jonge mensen en kinderen, vernieuwend, open en warm.
