One more Indian restaurant to be added in our list for sure. Naya daur has everything to be precise. Right from their musical ambience to service to food to taste and above all price and quantity it qualifies in all fields. They have a lot more food options as compared to other Indian restaurants. We loved every bit of it. Hope it continues the services same way. 🤟🏼👍

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Naya Daur, an Indian restaurant nestled in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, offering a fine dining experience that's quite a rarity for an Indian restaurant in the Eastern Province. While this experience was an invitation, my review remains unbiased and true.

Starters:

1. Lamb Chukka (9/10 - SR. 60): Crispy-coated succulent lamb, infused with South Indian spices reminiscent of Kerala's beloved 'Beef Dry Fry.' Served on tiny chapati’s, the outstanding flavours left a lasting impression.

2. Jhinga Kurkure (6.5/10 - SR. 55): Deep-fried Kunafa pastry-coated shrimps on a spiced potato bed. While not bad, it lacked heat and could benefit from a sweet and spicy sauce. The potatoes too could have been elevated with some seasoning.

3. Chicken Tikka Salad (7.5/10 - SR. 49): A pricier option at SR. 49, this refreshing salad with smoky peppers, chicken, parmesan, and garlic confit delivered a flavor-packed punch. Make sure to give it a good mix before you dig in.

4. Shahi Methi Murgh Nazakath (10/10 - SR. 65): Heavenly in terms of flavour, with fenugreek adding depth, yogurt and spices complementing the smoky chicken, making it an outstanding dish. Absolute value for money. I would however recommend skipping their in house naan for some plain rice to really enjoy this beautiful curry.

5. Mutton Biryani (8.5/10 - SR. 90): Flavour-packed mutton, perfectly spiced and tender, combined with fluffy, moist rice in a dum preparation. The caramalised onions adds a hint of sweetness helping balance out the gorgeous masala. Despite the higher cost, the quality justifies the rating.

6. Naya Daur Chai Karak (SR. 18): A lovely Chai Karak that serves two, offering good value for a fine dining establishment. The winter special chai takeaway menu adds a charming touch with a tea cart near the entrance.

Overall Experience: Naya Daur not only impressed with its delectable dishes but also with the inviting ambiance and friendly staff. It's an excellent choice for those seeking a comfortable setting to experience Indian cuisine. While some dishes may be on the pricier side, the overall quality justifies the expense, making Naya Daur a gem in Al Khobar's culinary scene.

Food quality is not the same as before, chicken is too hard and can't be eaten, bread was broken so my sandwiches were dripping sauce all over, staff were inside took 5 mini yes to start my order...

I ordered butter chicken and 2 plain naan. The taste is amazing, on point, I would've loved it more if the chicken pieces were legs tho. Still one of the best indian restaurants in Saudi. The dish I got serves 1.5 person, not only one, so 2 dishes could feed 3. I thought it is pricy at first but then I noticed that the taste and amount of it desreves that. The guy who answered the call before me ordering was amazing 👏.

We had our new year dinner at Rasoi by Vineet. They had a fixed menu for new year but since there was no veg options we chose for Ala Carte. I must say the food was delicious. Right from the appetizer to the dessert every thing was just perfect. They gave us complimentary appetizers also from their side. I must say they have good veg dishes also.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated in Indian style. Food is excellent with a modern twist. The best is the lamb korma. The naan bread is very good.

We’ve been exploring a lot of Indian restaurants in Khobar trying to find authentic flavours.

The decor and customer service is exceptional. The utensils they serve the food in is unreal and so aesthetically pleasing. There is a lot of parking space right outside the restaurant, so you don’t have to walk a lot either. However, when it comes to the actual food it was quite a disappointment. The flavours did not hit the spot in terms of spice levels, combination of flavours and just portion size.

It’s good to visit once to check it out!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The ambiance is incredibly charming, setting the perfect mood for a delightful meal. The food was not only amazing but also incredibly delicious. The service we received was exceptional, and I want to give a special shoutout to Tanzil, who made us feel incredibly welcome. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with fantastic recommendations😍.

Great value tasty Indian food. A solid 5 stars from me

The decor is to a good standard. The waiters are attentive and happy to help. The food was not good. It came a bit cold and we had to ask for it to be re-heated. It didn't feel like it was cooked then. Potentially pre-cooked and reheated when customers ordered.

Amazing place to enjoy Indian Cuisine if you are in Jeddah. Great atmosphere. Great place to relax and have dinner or lunch. Food was very tasty but a bit expensive.

The food was delicious. We had chicken dum biryani, dhall, mutton masala and chicken lahore. Good portions and reasonably priced. Special mention must be made of Arjun. His friendly, efficient service was much appreciated.

Their limited menu features only two items. The tikka sandwich was good, but I personally found the sauce to be overly sweet and overpowering for my palate.

The food is good , not great . This place can do better. The menu needs to add more items. They needs to add more grilled items.

The place was jammed packed with only few seating arrangements. They’ve only two dishes in the Menu.
1) Tikka Sandwich - The tikka sandwich was average, it had some smell in the chicken but the sauces covered it up for it.

2) Tikka French fries - This was good. Can try it again.

Not the best Indian food. They only have one type of sandwich! The taste is okay but not wow. The sauce is too sweet but its not too bad. The sandwiches are small, so you’ll eat 2-3 sandwiches If you r hungry 😅. The fries comes with tikka and a lot of sauce on the top. I personally didn’t like it. Overall, I’d give it 7/10.

A trendy new spot with a limited menu of just two items, and I have to say, they mostly succeeded in doing those few things exceptionally well. Both dishes were absolutely delicious with well balanced flavors and unique tastes, but could have been even better with more sauce. Although I encountered inconsistency in the quality of the chicken bites, I appreciate the restaurant's commitment to quality and encourage them to maintain their high standards. This two item trend is a refreshing departure from overwhelming menus, and I look forward to returning and seeing continued improvement in the quality and consistency of their offerings.

İt was first experience;
The place was very crowded, even there was no parking because of too many people was waiting on the road.
Place is not decorative, and very simple.
You have a two option for order;
1) Tikka Sandwich - 9.50 SR
2) Tikka Fries - 17.00 SR
There is nothing else.
Two of them was very tasty and delicious.
This sandwich better than Shawarma House or Mama Noura.

Although it doesn’t taste like a real chicken tikka, it is so yummy. And unfortunately, they don’t have many options on their menu. The chicken tikka sandwich is a bit pricey compared to its size. Other than that, the service and the staff are good.

Heard a lot about this place and I've even tasted some of the food via takeout but wanted to sit in and see what the fuss is about.

As soon as you enter you are welcomed in and ushered to your table. The decor and atmosphere and the seatings are top notch and desit style decorations with Indian music playing in the background not too loud which is perfect.

Scan the QR code and you get your menu and tell them your order and the waiter will write everything down for you and ask your spice level. we got 3 starters, some chicken biriyani balls in like butter chicken sauce, meat kebabs and mirch murgi.

Out came poppadoms with mint sauce and tamarind sauce dips. The poppadoms were not stale at all and had the perfect crisp and crunch to them.

Our starters came out and the chicken balls were delightful, don't eat too much of those or you will get full quickly. The kebabs were OK but the star of the food (starters) was the mirch murgi which had deep infused flavours and spice.

Out came our most dish and prawn curry. Both were fantastic and the meat was just falling apart like melted butter. The prawn dish came out it was sweet as our friend didn't like it spicy, but it was too sweet and we sent it back and they made it spicy apna style within 5 minutes. Enjoyed the curry dishes with buttered paratha and garlic naan made fresh and piping hot.

Service was amazing and help was always there when needed. Popped into this place on Saudi Founding Day.

What could be better than enjoying INDIAN food with nostalgic Hindi songs and romantic ambiance. The food is so INDIAN, no compromise on the taste or flavors.
It’s so yum..
The food was flavorful and not too spicy..
However, you can request the chef to customize the spice levels as per preferences.
They need to work a bit on Jalebi though..
But I am sure it’s gonna be better eventually..

I am really not into Asian or Indian food, but I actually liked this place. Service is above and beyond, food was served on time and was so delicious. Most importantly they prepared with the right spicy levels we asked for. Loved the decoration and the ease of access as well. The bill is slightly on the high side, but a good place for special occasions not regular visits

The sandwich was so yummy! but this bowl isn’t my taste. I wish they can add regular fries to thier menu

Oh boy was this a bad experience 😖. 1. The looooong wait. Expect 20 min wait at least. 2. The table was dirty and I had to clean it myself. 3. They didn’t accept visa and couldn’t make change for my order. The guy owed me three riyal and I had to make change myself from my wife later. 4 they use cheap chicken 5. That isn’t real tikka sauce, that’s ketchup you are tasting (cheap places do this to save costs 🤑).

You were probably like me and went to this place because you saw how busy it was. Sad mistake. Always check Google Reviews first! 😩
