Amazing thai atmosphere with a sense of humor. Slightly cramped tables but not disturbingly so. The free entre salad has a spicy fish sauce to die for 🥰🥰🥰. Very friendly staff and service was good. Service time was also within reason. Prices are good and the food is amazing. I have been several times over many years and always come away feeling so full from me not being able to stop eating 🤣. Portions are good sized for European standards.
Well it is a kiosk thus not much atmosphere.
We came without a reservation and got a table quite fast. The interior is very thai-coral inspired, cozy atmosphere. Staff was attentive and good with their service even though we sat a bit higher up than the rest of the guest. The BBQ biff was succulent and came with a tartar inspired dip. Pad Thai gai did also receive a 5/5 review. The banana split was perfect for two. Recommend to visit.

Delicious, authentic Thai food! Not to be confused with other Asian fusion restaurants offering "Thai" plates in the area.
The food is 5/5 for sure. However, compared to Mae Thai Mariatorget where I usually order, the portion here was significantly smaller. Green Curry had a few small pieces of meat, a couple of paprika pieces and a few other vegetables. Ultimately it was just the sauce and rice.
Not sure if it was because it was late in the day and they ran out of ingredients or other reasons.
With this experience, I can't recommend this against Mariatorget's Mae Thai which is great!

This is stable good place! Having meals from that place regularly and wasn't disappointed even once. Pad Thai is my favorite.

Food was really good. Many options and also English menu available. Every dish can be made vegetarian. There is a lunch deal that you can choose two out of four daily specials for only 85.

This was a great place for lunch. It’s called Takeaway but they also have seats if you want to eat there. The prices are reasonable and the staff was very nice.

Not good, not recommended. Tried a few different takeout dishes and everything tasted pretty much the same and not very good. I get it, the place itself sets expectations pretty low but managed to disappoint even with that in mind. Prices are low but you’ll be better off at another place.

Very nice restaurant and very friendly. We went there to have lunch it was wo derfull!! You pay 130 krowns for buffet and its very nice and tasty with chicken pork and also vegetarian options. There is also fruits and cookies and coffe for dessert. Very reco.mendable !

As a South-East-Asian Thai-food-enjoyer, I've always found Maeyai great! Been here a couple of times and always amazed at how authentic all the food taste. It's a great place to go when you want to taste good-old wok-charred food. The place is nice and cozy, the service is quick and responsive, and the owner/chef is super friendly. Recommended halal resto in Lund.

It is always a pleasure to return to the city of Lund and eat in this "Huarique" of Thai food, a place with good Thai food and flavor, good prices are reasonable, small but cozy place, they should only expand the bathrooms since there is only one, Regarding the food, it's very nice, not too salty, not too sweet, I think it's the right taste to enjoy good Thai food in Sweden, Thank you very much. 😉👌🏼🇹🇭🇸🇪
Nice environment and food was good… BUT… the issue is that the waiters and waitresses just push you to take empathy beer glasses and food dishes out of your table…. You so not really feel cozy and comfortable there !!

you are looking for a halal restaurant, go there with your eyes closed, the owner is nice, it's clean, it's good, it smells good, it's fresh, in short, a delight! when I return from France I will only eat there.
Affordable and generously sized Thai dishes are served here, with the option to make them spicy if desired. They also offer good tofu as part of their local-style menu.
Once upon a time this was among the best Thais in town. It's hard to believe if you visit here now. Bizarre behaviour of (some) staff and absolute lottery how the food will turn out.
Ordered via wolt, terrible experience. The rice was over cooked so it was one solid piece. The chicken was disgusting very chewy with a bad smell and taste. Feeling a little sick now.
Alhamdulillah,.... Can eat HALAL thailand food in swedia. Its amazing for me. The taste and place is very good. The person is hamble n nice. Recomended food

I really liked this place. It's not a traditional restaurant, it's more like a street vendor with a couple tables in front. But the choice of dishes is good, the food is amazing, and the prices are low. We'll be back!
Good chicken pad thai on glass noodles for a low price. There is pleasant outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.

This is the worst Thai restaurant I've ever visited. The chicken was hard and the noodles overcooked. When I mentioned it to cashier and the chief, they became very impolite and the chief said he is from Thailand and knows best. But I insisted and he changed it to another dish.
In total I can say the food was not at all price worthy.

fast self service, delicious but no english to talk to the service people, it's authentic Thai restaurant with low prices, drinks like water had been included in the menu price too

One of the best Phase Thai I've ever eaten - and for sure my new go-to place here in Malmö. Usually Copenhagen, where I live right now, outclasses any Thai Copenhagen has to offer. Thumbs up!
Just tried Tomyum with Shrimp this lunch. Such a beautiful combination, the flavors were almost perfect except for the salt. It’s a bit salty for me but was perfect for my friend.

One thing is clear, you don't come here for the plating, you come here for decent food at a great price, and to that, huge portions. Noone will leave hungry. Clean place and friendly staff.

I admire Thai food a lot and First pretence would be Thai if I have it in the menu! I tried Thai red curry with chicken and chicken Phad Thai here! I did like Phad Thai, it has the authentic flavour to it and it’s delicious, it’s just that the noodles are bit overboiled is what I feel! But it’s about the time, taste is all that matters 😜
Chucked red curry also tasted very good, bamboo shoots and coconut milk are very delicious and rightly added in the dish! I felt it bit too watery, but taste is what all matters! So, overall impression is Good 👍🏻 😊

The restaurant is located in Lund Central. Very easy to find. Nice decoration. A bit disappointed when it comes to the food. We ordered Combo 6 with some signature Thai food like Tomyum, Padthai, Pad pet,… it doesn’t taste so yummy as expected!
Delicious Thai food, we ordered Tom yum soup and Chicken noodles and surprisingly the flavors and taste was so authentic as I have been in Thailand and tried local food there, although it could be a bit spicy for Swedes :)
Genuine Thai food at a fair price. If only the owner/staff could act just a little more politely. If you visit you won’t see even a hint of the world-famous Thai smile. Customers are treated as a nuisance, to be dealt with as quickly as possible. We have come here for a decade, but I won’t recommend the Thai House any longer.
Got a piece of chicken in my tofu curry. Rice was stale from yesterday. And my stomach didn’t handle the food so well..maybe they were having a bad day.

The finest Thai restaurant in town. I came here after an evening fika with friends. We was looking for a great asean taste, i.e. pad thai and tomyum. AO Thai didn’t make us disappointed! The restaurant is cozy, very nice decoration and very Thai. Tasty foods! Definitely will come back for pad thai and tomyum!

Tasty food and friendly staff. The restaurant is quite cozy with comfortable seating and pleasant lightning. I had a Dagens Lunch for a very good price. Everything was good until the moment I poured the milk in my coffee. It was clear that it had expired and that was very unpleasant. They fixed it right away but it downgraded the experience and therefore my review.
Ordered the fried rice, number 24 but the lady gave me the number 12 version. Either way the rice wasn't fried at all and was served plain with the wokmix on the side. Decent taste but defininitly your average thai shack quality overall.

Thai Oasen: ❤️ This little streetshop has been on this corner for many decades, It has been the housing for many businesses. And finaly it has found its true purpose. A Thaikitchen. We have tried most of the lunch places now in the area, with various result, this place is among the very top notch! The food is realy good and with ingredients that makes the cut. The hot n spicy is also perfect. But the three things that scores big time are the things that we like the most.
1. Speed! You get your food in a jiffy no matter the que or order!
2. Size! As a grown man you can EASILY! split the lunch with someone or save for the next day. You wont go hungry to the desk. You will sleep on the keyboard...AGAIN!
3. Price! The price is a s we speak 87kr! For a mega portion. And if you are a student its like 55kr(!)

Location is good. Went on a Saturday night and it was not crowded. Order a red curry and cashew chicken, quite an average standard of Thai restaurant in sweden but still far from the real Thai food standard.
Well. I wanted spices but I think they misunderstood it with chilly. It was a lot of chillies and the taste of the spices did feel as my mouth was burning. So this place is a take away and I did not think the food was good. Its good if you are desperate to eat something
Nice and tasteful meals with many options to choose from. Sometimes there are a lot of orders and you have to wait a bit but they always tell you upon ordering. Worth visiting
Since we came here in 2013 Bhua Thai has unfortunately lost a fair bit of his attraction. The food is no longer so tasty and special, prices have gone up, and yesterday when I arrived a bit late, a sign announced the restaurant closed at 14.00.

I may be biased out of nostalgia but this may very well be the best thai-takeout in Stockholm. No, my basis for this statement is not credible as I have not tried each and every thai place in Stockholm. However, their Pad Thai (number 15) is always a treat, and big enough to fill the bellies of two happy campers. Though their prices aren’t what they used to be, they still offer a slight student discount.

Good food, most dishes including Pad Thai were very good. The Satay Beef was a little dry. Service was good. Soup was really tasty and full of meats and veggies (very harty), it did however have a very chewy stem/shoot veg in it which I have not had. That aside the soup was great.
This place is a life saver! Been craving for a proper rice dish after a while touring in Europe. They have a wide variety of Thai and other general asian cuisine. The price very cheap considering the generous portions. Free mineral water.
I think there's 4 branches around Stockholm and note that some branch don't really have a proper seating (mostly for take outs).

I have order chicken in Pineapple from Special meal. The meal was ok but it was below expectations, it cost 139:- kr

Good fast food alternative. I love spicy food and they delivered.
Food was delicious - each dish is cooked to order. I was quite surprised a little spot like this could turn out as good as it was.
This place is good tasting food, good prices, and good prob sizes. We ended up eating here twice as we enjoyed the food especially for the price. 1 meal is good for two people as they give you a larger serving of rice as well. The wait can be long when it is busy so this place isn't for someone in hurry.
Great Gluten Free Options!!! Great food and great service! If you're like me and struggle to find gluten free food that doesn't taste like dirt, you will be blown away here. Just tell your server you would like your dish made gluten free and they will do their best to help.
Food is ok. Service is unbelievably slow. With 4 people in line ahead of us it took 40 minutes to order and another 30 to get food--1 hour 10 minutes total. It only does take out,!! Similar service on a previous visit. We're not going back.
