Very clean and elegant dining room with a great view of the bay area facing Marina Bay Sands.
Service was excellent.
The food was mostly good, especially the sourdough bread. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
The lobster was on the rubbery side but the sauces was nice.
The beef was very well cooked but I wasn't fond of the sauce (infused with mala peppercorns).
The king crab legs was also very well cooked, unfortunately it didn't go well with the green curry sauce. Thought it masked some of the natural sweetness of the crab.
The yuzu financier was really nice at the end of the meal.
Forgot how troublesome parking at one Fullerton was, best to go earlier as there will always be traffic going into the parking area.

What a fantastic dining experience. Exceptional vegan menu - superbly crafted and so delicious. The mushroom tartlet was divine. I couldn’t believe the chocolate dessert was for real. I’ll be back!

Went for my Wife's annual Birthday celebration to Enjoy the NDP Fireworks.

Felt mix reviews about the place but not in a bad way. Having been to countless Michelin restaurants, we knew and expected St Pierre to be on the same level as the others. They certaintly didnt disappoint.

However being 2 stars meant high expectations and delivery. After trying out their courses, we knew they deserved their 2 stars but one thing lacking though was the 'wow factor' that we felt could push them to 3 stars.

Nevertheless, service pace was comfortable, presentation was fine and ambience was comfortable in their restaurant setting.

Surely their third star is not far behind. The combination of exquisite food, outstanding service, magnificent location and ambiance deserves the recognition.

My husband and I enjoyed a memorable lunch, beginning with gracious and attentive hospitality. After being seated, we were quickly greeted with small hand-held exquisite bitings. After the snacks, we were given the menu and the staff proceeded to set the table with my utensils opposite to the norm. It caught me off guard so I asked about it. During the snack stage, the staff had noticed that I was eating with my left hand and set my placings accordingly. This is the kind of attentiveness and hospitality to which I refer. Also notable is the presence of Chef Stroobant in the dining room, occasionally presenting dishes and casually chatting with guests. We were touched by his warm presence.

The amuse bouche offerings were each little packages of varied flavors, textures and aromas. They were all 4 delectable.

The starters were outstanding—the Australian marron was succulent, as was our lobster and king crab. These three pieces were all accompanied by delicate drizzles of sauces and perfectly matched vegetables. The artistry of each dish was itself gorgeous, as the photos clearly show. The same praise can be said for the main, in our case the Nagasaki Hata, a meaty fish that was moist and flavorful.

We were also impressed with their version of the baba dessert. Rather than soaking in rum, it’s infused with lemongrass. I was happy with the mild, rather than cloying, sweetness of this dessert.

To be honest, prior to dining here, we had already eaten at Singapore’s three Michelin 3-starred restaurants and were not expecting so much. We walked away wondering when Saint Pierre would join that illustrious group. Their food was, in several instances, better than what we experienced elsewhere and all other measures place them at that level. We will definitely return on our next trip to Singapore.

Must try. Great food. Great view. Perhaps the most memorable (out of all the exquisite food that we were served) was the ohmi beef. The taste of the beef is imprinted in your memory as you appreciate the creation of the beef and the culinary skills that went into preparing it.

In short form, I would fully described this place.
Magnificent. Well worth the price paid. Excellent food and ambience. Impeccable service and world class dining experience.

It’s a wonder why this place is only a 2 stars Michelin fine diner. It should be a 3 star and if not today, it’s going to be in due time.

From the dining place, you get a full view of MBS and the light show several times over as you dine throughout the night.

If you are offered the option add-on, go for it. The Marron I had was super springy and delicious. It’s a one in lifetime taste. Emmanuel’s concept is all about circles and exquisite cutleries. I love his collection of knives and I marvel at his thoughtful display of ingredients around the dishes.

An utmost pleasure to be here. A fine collection to Singapore’s restaurant pool. We are honored to have this place on our island.

Good lunch experience at a 2-star Michelin French culinary gem. Each dish is a masterpiece, beautifully crafted and bursting with exquisite flavors. With the stunning Marina Bay Sands as your backdrop, the ambiance is simply gorgeous. However, while the service is attentive, more exciting explanations of each dish would elevate the experience even further.
Tried a new French restaurant; the food was generally above average.

Pictured:
- Charcuterie (Duck Rillette & Chicken Liver Paté) with Bread and Pickles
- Soupe A L’Oignon (Onion Soup, Stuffed Onion with Comté Cheese and Onion Confit)
- Mushroom Raviolis with Duxelles and Hazelnuts, “Forestiere” Sauce,
Spinach Puree
- Chicken Bouillon Escargots, Half Dozen (Baked Burgundy Snail, served with Tomato Fondue & Garlic Butter)
- Poulet Aux Quarante Gousses D’Ail (Oven Roasted French Chicken with 40 Garlic Cloves)
- Tartare De Boeuf 160gm (Beef Tenderloin Tartare, served with French Fries)
- Onglet De Boeuf Aux Echalottes 200gm (Pan-Seered Hanger Steak with Shallots & Garlic Confit, served with French Fries)
- Gratin of Potatoes
- Chocolate Tart with Vanilla Ice-cream

Dined at Bistro du Sommelier a few days ago. Excellent French bistro. Food of the highest quality, great meats, large wine selection. Nothing negative to say. Service is attentive and quick. Only downside is the atmosphere, a little too quiet and nothing much around the restaurant to do after dinner. Overall probably one of the best bistro in Singapore. Added bonus, he kept his pricing fairly stable.

One of those who keeps to authenticity of home recipes and way of cooking. Affordable prices for a good french meal in heart of city.
The beef cheeks were braised till tender and kept warm in claypot to serve. Duck confit was crispy out full in generous portion.
We recently dined at the restaurant and opted for the pre-order menu, which expedited the service. The steak was exceptional, and the price for two persons was reasonable. While the wine selection is on the higher end, it's worth noting that they offer options by the glass. The restaurant exudes a cozy ambiance and is situated on the quieter side of Armenian Street, away from the hustle and bustle. However, it's important to note that the street may become busy during road festivals.

One of the best French dining places in Singapore. Have been coming back for over a decade. The Pate and Rillette are a must try.

T bone steak is done to perfection and consistently so over the years. Profiteroles are also the best I’ve tried locally.

There’s also a second floor if you’re looking for a bar with a cheeseboard/ pate/ cold cuts.

As usual - food was down to earth and flavourful. Service was attentive & efficient. Place was slightly crowded & a bit noisy, but bearable.

We had the set lunch which satisfied our choices & was filling. The poached pear in red wine was a tad ‘dry’. The steak was seasoned & done really well.

A favourite ‘go to’ place with good friends, family & colleagues.
Environment was cosy just like how a small French bistro in France looks like. Have not seen such fresh and huge prawns in awhile for a pasta, sauce was more towards the French taste loving it. Pate was done nicely so lyonnaise. Portion of every was good. Overall a pleasant place for a French fix.

A meal at BDV is like coming home, and very often a comforting one - from the friendly service to consistent food quality. Some reviewers seem to expect warm toasty bread and full linen service, but hey it’s a bistro. Enjoy the French butter and live a little!

The menu is big enough to cater to a table of diverse preferences and dietary requirements, but do try the specials if you can. And if you like potatoes, this is THE place to have it in any form- mash, fries or crispy baked baby potatoes.

I recently went for lunch with some friends and found the 3-course set menu a really great deal. The artichoke soup and lobster-based bouillabaisse with pilaf were exactly what I needed on a cool, rainy Sat afternoon. My friends enjoyed their duck confit and roast pork dish.

Another regular fave is the soufflé so try to save some space for it!

Service is great because unlike many newer establishments, Philippe and many of his staff are seasoned faces in the service industry. But please be patient and kind when they’re full house - the F&B industry is still not at 100% staffing 🙏🏻

Ordered two starter, six main course and two dessert. Average 85 per pax.
The bread basket normal: bread is kinda hard and butter not aromtic.
Foie gras is good. Texture good but unluckily sauce missed the spot a bit.
Beef tartar kinda normal. Average beef with good bread.
Beef Wellington is good. Beef well seasoned and juicy inside, while the baking sheet a bit soggy and not super crispy. It would be great if we have it crispy outside and juicy inside. Anyway it is good and super affordable given it is a tedious work to make beef wellington.
The duck confit is above average and not bad. Can taste the umami from the flavourful and tender duck meat. The duck skin is crispy too. However, the sauce is overwhelming sweet and lacking in the sourness to make it refreshing.
The Coq au vin is good. Chicken well seasoned and still tender. Seems the chef adds some pork and it really elevate the whole dish.
Scallop normal. Full of small scallop but some are with odour. Sausage with lentil and herbs normal: too salty but the texture are still good. Stew not bad.
For the two dessert, soufflé above average and apple tart with ice cream not bad.
Service overall up to standard and vibe positive.
Overall, it is a good bistro serving some good French dishes. Foie gras, beef Wellington and coq Au vin recommended.
Rmb to reserve a seat in advance cos it is super popular.
Hanger steak with fries: 9/10
- fries were exceptionally crispy
- good crust on the steak and doneness nailed

Duck confit: 8/10
- decent tasting!
- duck gyoza was a miss

Duck rillette: 8/10
- nice, but nothing spectacular

Friendly staff! 👍🏻
Cozy atmosphere
Thank you dear wife for reminding me not to “waste money” on flowers for our Wedding Anniversary, just do a simple dinner for our night out.

And…I arranged a simple dinner just for the two of us at the Le Bistro du Sommelier; a small bistro.

The bistro could seat 32 pax in their air conditioned hall (apparently they could also serve alfresco outside the restaurant if there’s more diners). This evening the dining hall was nearly fully occupied.

The creative wine glasses Chandeliers caught our attention the moment we entered the lightly but pleasantly decorated restaurant.

The service staff were very polite and helpful.

We ordered their popular Cote de Boeuf, which was 1kg of oven roasted Angus prime beef rib with half dozen of Escargots as our starter.

The Escargots were nicely baked in chopped spinach and probably garlic and olive oil, excellent spread for the bread.

The 1kg prime rib came with the bone, wonderfully baked till medium rare (per our request). Although the beef was only salted, it tasted so delicious with onions and garlic.

Two sides of salads were offered - Sauteed broccolini with Parmesan cheese and Heirloom Beetroot with walnut dressings. Both were very delicious.

Wrapped up the dinner with Coconut Soufflé and Caramel Butter ice cream .

Overall the meal was very wonderful. It would be an excellent evening if only the restaurant wasn’t so noisy. Some diners were speaking and laughing so loudly, the noises echoed within the closed walls spoiling the ambience of dining there.

The sourdough bread and butter is simply the best but beware not to overgorge on them else you'll be overstuffing yourself the second half of the meal

Food quality was rather disappointing. If bread can be served so hard, what else can customer expect from the rest of the dishes.
Pork loin was tough and had no veg. Mushroom soup tasted nothing like mushroom. Mussels were fresh but too salty and small. Escargots were too salty too. Duck confit was quite tender. Steak was tender but lacking in presentation. Staff were attentive. During reservation, I indicated that it’s a friend birthday but there wasn’t any complimentary dessert or wishes on the dessert plate. On a whole, 3 of us were disappointed with the experience. Wont consider coming back.

Overall rather disappointing. There was no effort made for dietary requirements. It was a case of, you cannot have the tasting menu, these are two options that work for you so have them. Despite notifying them in advance.

The wine took a long time to arrive and be opened, so we asked to delay starting our food which was ignored until we we reminded them.

The food is good but far from the level you expect from a 3 star. A one star... maybe in Paris?!

The wine was in excellent condition though (Haut Brion 94&95).

We had a solid lunch but I would not return.

Being 3 star brings expectations which sadly where not met.

Everything was impeccable, the food was great and the portions were generous, great wine pairings and amazing service.
Toni and the team were very kind and took genuine care of us.
The Blu Lobster appetizer, their sour dough, the riz de veu and the cheese course were divine.
Highly recommended.

Had a great anniversary dinner here with my partner. Food is great, service is great. Thank you for such a good memory. ❤️
They serve utterly good onion soup but the service is rather disappointing. Did not intend to make an issue but my partner has casually mentioned I have burnt my arm. The response we received left us in rather regret having it mentioned about it.This sounds most basic of service but there shall be a mindful notice when hot plating is served.

For review researchers - Onion soup is baking hot right out from the oven. Be warned :)

Delicious food. Nice environment and good service. The grilled pork rack was delicious! The meat was lean yet tender. The rib eye steak was good but a tad too salty.

Was lunch there on Wednesday. Expect to see less crowd since is the mid of the week , who knows they are full house throughout lunch period. Luckily we made reservation in advance.
We’ve opt for $45++ 3 course set lunch, each of us ordered different dish.
Except the poached grouper taste so so and they serve ONE piece cheese as The cheese of the day’s dessert that looks so minimalist , the whole lunch experience was great, cozy ambience, service staffs are attentive in just right way.
They serve good wine too.

Delicious meal, especially the special glazed carrots (cooked in orange juice) and the morel mushroom soup. We didn’t get enough of the warm bread so asked for more. The ice cream trolley before the dessert course was also a treat. Finished off with a simple yet elegant and satisfying Mille-feuille with vanilla cream.

Michelin star restaurant hence food standard is good. Every dish is flavourful and the service is friendly. Though I would prefer the servers to be wearing mask as they need to interact and introduce each and every dish. This is hygiene and mutual respect for diners.
