One of the best seafood restaurants in Singapore. Real tasty food and excellent service!!! 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️

Can't leave Singapore without trying the chili crab, especially the black pepper crab. It's the signature dish, and this place serves it with an awesome view of the Sands and next to the Merlion. Make sure to make reservations in advance.

Food: Old school style Cantonese fare in town. Brought my grandparent here for dim sum during the weekends. Seems like the place is bustling with lots of regulars.
Regular dim sum like Siew Mai, Har Gao, Chee Cheong Fun, Carrot cake which was executed on pretty well. Add on some of the weekend specials like the Marinated Beancurd and Steamed lobster claws with egg white. Poached HK seasonal veg - Kai Lan was on the pricey side $11.90, with not much seasoning, would skip this dish.
Besides dim sum we ordered the beef noodles and braised bee hoon with shredded duck and xue cai (had to da bao these as there was too much food). Noodles were pretty tasty.
Highly recommend rounding off the meal with the glutinous durian dumplings. They were served cold and filled with durian meat. An excellent dessert!
Bill came up to be $236 for 5 pax. Tea was $4.50/pax and side dishes (peanuts) were $5/plate.
Reservation: WhatsApp to make reservation a day before and was able to make a reservation for the next day. Staff was responsive and friendly.

A true 10/10 experience - food, staff, cleanliness, THE VIEW. They squeezed us in despite being really busy, so happy they did. Japanese party next to us made the atmosphere incredible! Food, wow, well displayed, really well cooked and the flavours - divine,,, only regret is I didn't take more pictures!!! Thank you!

The food was amazing! Honestly, it was even better than Jumbo Seafood. The crabs were priced based on market rates, and we ordered 1.6 kg for three people. The crab was huge, and it was packed with so much meat! I’ve never had a crab with that much meat before. The almond prawns were good, but the chili crab stole the show. Definitely recommend! We paid about 300 SGD for three people.

The taste is still acceptable. You will encounter spoils of choice when you come into fresh seafood available in store

Hong Kong style cooking. You need to make reservation as the restaurant is not big but packed with customers. Although it's quite pricey but food is good. They have a cellar as well for a wide range of wine

A good place to bring visitors, as it has the Marina Bay and Merlion view. Food is good but on the pricier side. You can always count on the chili crab and seafood platter. The place is always very crowded and in a rush.

Food is overall nice, worth trying. NDP promos are value for money. Hibiscus rose tea is quite special, seldom seen in seafood restaurants.
Excellent service, kudos to every service crew proactive in offering to clear our plates n serving new plates. My wife says they are very courteous.

Very nice food, have been following since Orchid Country Club, standard of food did maintain and had many new dishes included. Tried their set meal, very big portion. Service of staff also very polite especially Xiu Ying who is very attentive and friendly. 👍 👍👍

Lovely food, highly recommend. Do try their filter coffee too.

Tasty Chettinad food in the West!
Here is a short blurb of the things we had:
- Tandoori Chicken: Smokey and well-marinated. Came with a chutney that could be minty-er, but chicken was flavourful enough nonetheless.
- Gobi65: This was actually gobsmacking yummy. Crispy, not oily, soft and tender cauliflower in the inside. Do yourself a favour and order this.
- Fish Biryani: Came with generous chunks of fish steak. Curry was flavourful.
- Kadai Chicken: Spicy and creamy. Sauce split a little but that’s fine. Pairs the biryani and naan well.
- Filter coffee: Absolute must order!
The only con is that it’s a little expensive. Else, would come again more frequently.
There’s also handwashing basins for those who wanna eat with your hands (as one should)

First time here for lunch.
Very good quality food… their signature fried chicken was really good- highly recommended, comes with fried garlic pieces… but the garlic did not have kick if you know what I mean. It would have been better if the garlic was better quality.
Salted egg prawns 👍🏽
Lobster porridge was 👍🏽, and the lobster was not too hard. Look at the porridge BIG bowl 👍🏽
Black paper crab was good and spicy ….
Steam fish was good too
Orh-nee, was surprisingly good too, not too sweet.

Walk front dining with incredible views and food. Large seating area, lots of great food and drink options including the famous chili crab (get the pepper crab instead!), durian desserts, and more. Service is a bit slow during prime time.

One of the best restaurants in Singapore to have lobster porridge, they have been around for a long time and now in a new location with ample car park and lots of tables. The lobster porridge is delicious and the lobster is fresh as well. Try their Steven chicken which is delicious as well. Not really cheap but certainly worth it. Service wise is also very friendly and helpful.

Good hospitality ,my favourite place for home food westgate anjappar always, good service

Food was good, but service was poor (you have to ask multiple times for water before they give you some. They are expecting you to order crabs or king crabs on every table, we spend over $120 SGD per person without ordering carbs.)

Food is not horrible but the exorbitant price doesn't reflect the portion size. There were hardly any chicken in the butter chicken and the panipuri is meh. Masala tea also no spicy taste, taste like teh tarik. The meal was bang average, maybe 3-3.5 stars if priced cheaper but with the ridiculous price and I didn't get the level of food for the price I pay for, this restaurant deserves the 2 stars I'm giving. $40 for the below photo, you be the judge.

Apart from the lobster porridge, the rest of the dishes is either average or below average (bamboo clams, yam paste, steamed fish is not fresh and overcooked). The service was in serious lack of friendliness and warmth, which could be caused by under staffing. We have to really struggle to get service and attention of the staff, who looked stressed out. Ambience is ok.

Never a bad meal here.
Food is always delicious.
Had the Peking Duck, which was good enough to eat on its own.
Alaskan crab 2 ways. Salt and Pepper fried is a perfect way to bring out the sweetness of the crab.
The salt baked chicken was a surprise hit. Kamponf chicken salt baked, moist, flavorful and not oily.
Australian Lobster sashimi noodles with scallion oil noodles rounded off great meal.
Their Mai Lai Gao steamed cake is one of the best around.

Jade Palace has been around for a long long time, and I’ve always associated it with a place to bring parents or grandparents. However, even with the old school ambience, the food is honestly really good.
We came here to celebrate my father’s birthday. You can make reservations over what’s app, and you can pre-order the dishes that you want to ensure they are available and to reduce the waiting time. We pre-ordered the suckling pig ($338) and the traditional claypot rice ($92). The food is pricey, but this price is within the range for such food. This being said, the suckling pig is top of its class. It’s one of the best suckling pigs I’ve had to date. The pig was larger than we expected, but the skin was so crispy. They serve it with pancake, cucumber and spring onions (like Peking duck) for your first course, and this was delicious. For our second course, we had it done two ways - fried with salt, pepper and garlic and stewed, at extra cost. The meat was tender and juicy even in the second course, but of course the best rendition is still the first one.
The traditional claypot rice is also one of the best I’ve had in Singapore, and the best part about it is that you can order this any time of the year, not just during Chinese New Year. You get Taiwanese sausage, liver sausage, waxed duck and all that good stuff, served with fragrant rice. They also serve you the crispy rice bits at the bottom of the pot if you want.
Service was excellent. Our server Cathy really took great care of us and my father was very pleased with the meal. They even gave us free fruits at the end of the meal (even though we were stuffed). Definitely worth a revisit for their suckling pig and claypot rice.

Old establishment Cantonese cuisine delight senior foodie. Food standard above average with effective service.

Came across Palm Beach Restaurant on Singapore's marina by chance. Used to be Michelin listed, doesn't appear to be at the moment but we thought we'd give it a go. Great location, lovely food and good service. The lasting memory however won't be any of this, rather the sneaky way they encourage you to leave before closing time! The canopies were closed at 10.20, nearly 40 minutes before shutting the restaurant which causes the outside area to get really muggy and unpleasant. We asked if they'd re-open it, but were told it's a big job. It was quite literally one button that had to be pressed for maybe 10 seconds. Naughty naughty! Shame, when everything else seemed on point.

The lobster porridge is pretty delicious. A nice place for gathering as the restaurant is spacious and with less crowd. The service is good too. We ordered $398 set for a 7 dishes, and the portion is good for 8 pax sharing.

The food is not really worth with price, but so far still can accept. Service is good, atmosphere is not good to match price
150$-200$/ person. Fried frogs legs with ginger must try, only this dishes can satisfy me, others I don’t like so much. Vegetables is not really nice, but very expensive. Should try meat only 😄

Anjappar mentioned they have crab with gravy and roasted crab or crab fry. I ordered take away for roasted crab. But i was given crab without gravy but it was not roasted at all. It seems they cook both in the same style, but they give with gravy and without gravy, but not really fried or roasted as expected.

Visited this place yesterday with my family. Had been to Anjappar at other outlets, but for the first time Visited this outlet. Since it was a public holiday, and around 7:15 pm,it was completely occupied. We waited for 5 mins and soon received a table for ourselves.
Both the ladies,at the cash counter and taking order are nice and fast. All the staffs are prompt in their work.
Food was served really fast, even though it was crowded.. Appreciated 👏
Since it was navratri time for us,so we only had vegetarian food. We chose to have their north Indian veg set meal, noodles, butter roti, juice .. Everything tasted delicious 😋
At the cash counter,we saw ,speciality of the day was " Hariyana Special " Deer Biryaani and roasted Deer" Haven't seen deer recipes at any other anjappar outlet ever, when we visited.

Much much much better than the branch in Little India. The food taste was great. Happy to have Anjappar restaurant in my area. Perfect place for Indian non-vegetarian lovers. We went for lunch. Mutton briyani was awesome. The is small but nice and cozy. The staffs are friendly. Usually their quantity of briyani is more. So was it this time also. It definitely suits the south Indian briyani taste. The tiny and fragrant, jeeraga samba rice is perfect for briyani. Definitely recommend and must visit.

Not first time eating here. We had the promo set dinner for 4 pax which consist of lobster porridge. Upgraded to get a big lobster. Had the fish deep fried instead of steaming. Their Stevens Chicken is also a must try. (Sorry didnt have the photo of chicken, too nice to resist and forgotten to snap a photo).
The staffs actually help to scoop porridge if its not very crowded and busy.
Remember to make reservation.

I came here twice, once on CNY Eve and once before that, to try out the food. Their food is really tasty. If you come here on a typical day, I do recommend their lobster porridge and Steven chicken dish.
Lobster is big, meaty, and chunky, but I could not taste the sweetness perhaps because it was cooked into the porridge. The chicken is beautifully seasoned with a sticky glaze and a crunchy exterior while still being tender and juicy within.
We ordered the most expensive CNY set because it is required to get the private room. The food was amazing. The steamed lobster was highly rated by everyone, and I especially liked the truffle scallop dish. But the servers asked us like 5 times what drinks do we want, so I think their coordination was quite off.
Overall, I do recommend this place, and I would come again. Although it is somewhat far from where I stay, and the prices lean towards the higher end. The quality of the food and the clean ambience make up for the cost.

Good Indian food, lots of variety, including vegetarian options. Dosa is also available including the very long one. Newly renovated so it’s brighter, cleaner and more appealing. Good, attentive service

Second time to Jade Palace. Compared to the first time, the service becomes better and even impeccable. More than 5 different waiters/waitress serve us during the dining, so the plates are changed and the tea are refilled frequently. All the waiters/waitress are friendly and willing to help.
Order seafood, beef, cooked broccoli and dessert.
The cold crab together with the special source tastes sweet and fresh, recommend. The Lobster is fresh so the meet is firm and chewy.
Black pepper beef is moderately tender and easy to chew.
Broccoli is cooked just right, retaining a crisp texture without a raw smell. Sauce is fresh and sweet.
Desserts (red bean cooked cake and turtle paste) also matched my expectation. No so sweet, tasted healthier.
In summary, food and service are good and much above the average. Two small drawbacks: 1, high price, we four people paid more than 600 without wine. 2, the lobby is a little noisy, and not quite suitable for a quiet business dinner.
