Very well maintained place. They have an informational counter that can particularly help international tourists. The bus drivers/managers were slightly rude and did not entertain queries we had to board, but we could get help from counter 7 staff to board the bus.
It is usually not too crowded and has a basic washroom for pay and use. You can find tickets for big buses and small vans, and can choose a particular bus to take. The big bus ticket to Phuket costed us 170Bahts.

As of March 2024:
State operated buses to Bangkok leave at 16:00 and 17:00, costing 700 and 675 baht respectively. And you can book them via busonlineticket for the same price.
The price for Songthaew to Ao Nang has gone up to 60 baht per person. Alternatively, you can take a Songthaew near the night market in downtown Krabi at the same cost.
The toilet charges 3 baht.
And of course cash only here, just like any other bus terminals in Thailand.

I don't get these Thai bus terminals in the most inconvenient locations possible. There are various songthaews and other vehicles waiting there to pick you up, but it's impossible to know if you're getting on private or a shared ride if you haven't been here before. The staff at the bus station are wilfully vague when you ask them for directions. A group of us was approached by a guy wearing a uniform identical to that of the bus station staff, who led us to a "songthaew" to Krabi Town. He ended up being the driver and asked for 100 TBH apiece for the 5 minute ride, so be careful what you're getting on if you want to pay a fair price.
Both cooking Class and elephant sanctuary trips we booked here. Excellent drivers, good English skills - just a superb experience.

It's clean and quiet bus terminal
It is similar to other terminals in Thailand, but it's smaller in size. It's advisable to purchase tickets on the spot rather than online. If you've just arrived, it's convenient to rent a motorbike right at the terminal. The prices are more affordable compared to renting from accommodations or in the city center of Krabi.
Terrible experience in the Thailand. We book online but they don’t take us up to the hotel only to go pier. Total we paid 450 THB/ person.
A Customer service of PHANTIP lady who was working in the bus station office also didn’t help at all. She was very rude.
Do not book your bus ticket online for PHANTIP .

Лучше зайти лично в офис и пообщаться, но если вы далеко от этого места, то можно позвонить и попросить приехать куда вам удобно для обсуждения вопросов и бронирования. Мы зашли, пообщались и потом через мессенджеры (Ватсапп , Телеграмм) договаривались об экскурсиях.

Took a shared bus to Krabi 150 baht. Dropped me at my hotel. Good service for the money 💰
Pretty average like another terminal. The bus came quiet on time. If you booked online ticket please make sure to print your tickets first on those locket right on the front of buildings.
Just like us, they wont let you get on the bus with just showing your book through phone. They do all manually and doesn’t have automatic/instant confirmation.

Wollte Heute Morgen 15.9.2023 von Rangsit mit Bus 554 zum Busbahnhof Fahren aber der Busschafner sagte mir Unwirsch Aussteigen der Bus 554 fährt nicht zum Busbahnhof Subarnabhmi. Bin dann 2 Stunden Spähter doch mit Bus 554 dort Angekommen. Leider meinen Freund Verpasst!!
Small bus station serving the airport workers and also people who wants to go to and from the airport, white bus with letters A, B, C and etc. (all white public bus essentially) are free and doesn’t need any money to ride on it.
The exclusive means of promptly reaching the city is by utilizing the ARL's express service. It is recommended to expect possible delays and a significant volume of passengers during peak hours, specifically on weekdays in the mornings and evenings. Additionally, the weekends are characterized by continuous high congestion throughout the day.
Outside the departure there are some guys with a uniform of Help Airport Services. It is a private company that doesn’t have any connection with the airport. I was with the wheelchair and I ask their help to push my luggage. They asked 5 USD

Car was super clean and new (less than 9k mileage). Wasn’t expecting such a nice and pristine Yaris 1.2 litre. Easy to communicate with the staff via WhatsApp even before I arrived. Will rent again for sure.
Their staff able to speak English, and the process of car rental is easy. Also their car was new and clean. Just when returning the car was at arrival, it was not suitable for us which need to get our flight on departure. Hope that they can change the method of car returning.
Truelly excellent service. Easy to book. On arrival at Krabi, found the desk easily. After a quick check of documents and the usual signing of paperwork and make the payment, we went out to the vehicle. Very nearby, it the car park just opposite. After checking it over, again the usual signatures and off we went. No hard sell of extra cover, etc. Very nice, friendly staff. Fluent English speakers. On return to the airport to drop off car, a quick call to the airport desk will have them meet you in the car park. That again was a very quick, smooth process. All in all perfect service. Very good quality car, no problems with it. Highly recommend this company for their excellent customer service.
Have rented from Drive Car Rental at this location several times. Service has always been efficient and never had any problems with the cars. Communication was good and the local manager promptly replied to an email enquiring about a rental extension. Rates are competitive with off-airport rental companies, and pick-up and return is under cover so you don't get wet if you are arriving or leaving during the rainy months.
Easy access to airport. 135baht only for 3pax. Easy food snacks and drinks access on the airport link walkway. Exit 5 to airport link from Phaya Thai BTS. There are currency exchange available too.
The two Drive service gentlemen were extremely helpful to get us underway after our flight even taking time to inspect and show us the user detail of the car before driving off. We found our rental to be very clean and ready to go.
Small thing was the surprise to be charged bhat 10,000 deposit ‘holding fee’ to be paid at pickup and the bhat 50 cost per litre for any top up upon return when bhat 35 is the commercial rate.
Now that it’s been a week since vehicle return we look forward to getting notification for our full deposit back with detail of any ‘fuel deductions’ given it was filled up our electric hybrid only 8 klms from the airport upon return.
Notwithstanding the above we will certainly be renting through Drive again.

I am very happy with the whole rental procedure, especially I was given a surprise greeting by a staff holding a piece of paper with my name on it at the arrival hall. The collecting and returning procedure is very fast and easy. Always full and crowded since they are too much challenged of maintaining an image of a modern city which Bangkok definitely isn’t than maintaining a fast and reliable airport connection . This is the first impression of a country. The stations are hot, no escalators, Crowds of oeople, no baggage racks. Very bad impression,indeed. A backpackers delight. Not for decent tourists.There are flights leaving at 4 am, why can’t they at least maintain 24hr running trains? This is nothing more than a gadget, a nice deco but not at all useful. It’s cheap but you know the saying, you get what you pay for….not much .
About the Krabi Bus Station!
I wanted to put this here because I have a hard time finding information about it in English.
This bus station is great, those who say otherwise likely aren’t familiar with local transportation in Thailand. It’s organized and reliable. Tickets are affordable. I haven’t been charged extra as a foreigner. There’s lots of English signs, a bathroom (3 Baht), and a few shops to buy food with cheap prices (but overpriced water). I’ve attached pictures that show the schedules- I believe current as of 2023.
To get to Ao Nang, get in a white songthaew to the side of the station. It costs 50 Baht per person- about a 30 minute ride. You might have to wait a little while because they want them to be full before departing.
You might have drivers approach you for a taxi or something. If you don’t want it just say no and keep moving. No problem.
Note: Krabi doesn’t have a lot of grab drivers (you can try but your ride might not get picked up). You probably have to use songthaews, taxis, motorbike taxis etc… you can try to bargain if you want.

Collection experience at the Krabi airport was fine and escorted to the car located in the carpark adjacent to the terminal building. Hire car was 5 years old but still in good condition. Return of the car was a mess. Instructions to return the car at initial collection was vague and incorrect. Actual return involved multiple calls to the office in order to find the return location which was not sign posted in the car park. Luckily we can speak Thai otherwise impossible to find the return location.
Rental process on the website was straightforward. Picked up from and dropped off a Honda City at Krabi airport. Car was new and in spotless condition, as shown on the website. Communication wih staff was seamless. Happy to recommend
Booked the James Bond island tour from our hotel. Our guide was brilliant even though our minibus had a minor issue and our longboat broke down while in the mangrove forest. We were very well looked after all day, plenty of refreshments and all delivered with a big Thai smile

A group of men forced passengers to use their vehicles with ridiculously overpriced fares at the North Pattaya Bus Stop. They frightened the taxi driver I called by Bolt and send him away. Even they showed us a picket with the phrase that stopping a bolt or grab taxi here is illegal. I and the other passengers had no choice but to drag the heavy luggage and move away from that place to call a bolt or grab taxi. This company should compensate for the trouble caused to the passengers by aiding and abetting this illegal activity.

We booked two tours (Hong Island and Khao Sok Eco Explorer) from our hotel in Khao Lak. Both were really great experiences which we can absolutely recommend. The tours are smaller than others we've seen and very well planned.
Both provide experiences which we haven't seen anywhere else, e.g. visiting James Bond Island at sunrise without any other tourists present and combining lake, cave and jungle tours in one day at Khao Sok.

Great link from the airport into the city. Buying tickets couldn’t be easier. The trains are clean and security checked before boarding and the journey is fast. Sadly arriving at the last stop there’s no escalator or elevator down to road level which makes travel with bags a challenge.

The terminal itself is a bit menacing for Bangkok, located in a somewhat desolate area near the airport. A patron really needs a car to reach it. There appeared to be some unsavoury people lurking around the terminal when I was last there before COVID.
The primary advantage of this bus terminal is that it is the staging area for the Roong Rueang buses that travel to Pattaya and Jomtien Beach as well as Hua Hin. It makes it far easier for a patron to purchase a ticket and board the next bus that then goes to the airport to fill up for the 2 hour ride to Jomtien Beach. 143 baht.
If a patron tries to get the bus at the airport itself, travel delays are a given as the buses sell out very rapidly. Even more so now that Thailand has fully reopened to travelers. Upon my return from Malaysia, the delay was 2.5 hours until the next available bus to Jomtien Beach.
On a positive note about the depot, there are comfort rooms and a notions store available for travelers. It is also the termination point of several local bus routes and airport shuttles.

During pre-covid times you could catch a minivan or bus from here to various places such as Chonburi but now I think it's only used to connect various parts of Suvarnabhumi airport. You will have to pass/transfer through here once if you are trying to get to the long-term parking lot from the airport terminal. Reversely though from the parking lot to the terminal it is a short/direct 5 minute ride.

I don't understand why the bus terminal has to be so far from the airport terminal but there are free shuttle buses and from here you can find lots of cheap connections to lots of places in Thailand.
