I am from Mumbai I visited here a few days ago and the food was very very very good and delicious very good indian restaurant in Thailand, Makkasan, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400. Best for all kinds of Indian dishes i am very satisfied and happy with the food and atmosphere and service 😌
Just wow.
My partner and I ended up coming here as we were staying in the hotel building where the restaurant is. After reading other reviews, I expected the food to be good... But wasn't prepared for how amazing it actually was!
We both ordered the Kings Menu (1299 Baht pp) and it was HUGE (we should have ordered 1 to share).
It came with a rack of lamb and a giant prawn as an entree. Then came the main with 4 curries, rice, bread and a dessert. I could just about manage to eat half with great effort!
The food was outstanding, some of the best I've ever had. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!
Amazing food and immaculate service by Mr Raj. Amazing rooftop view and ambiance. Nice music. Fast service.
Normally we order food through line man or grab. Even line man rider cancel for some unforeseen reason to deliver the food, restaurant take responsibility and call the customer and find the way to deliver the food is really awesome. Restaurant really cares about their customer. Food taste really good. My kid love their starters.
We stayed at Baiyoke hotel last week and being from India we wanted to eat familiar food. The first time we went we requested for an egg curry with less spice as my son doesn't like spicy food and also a few other dishes. In all the years that I have travelled India and around the world, I don't remember if I ate such a DELICIOUS FOOD !! For the whole week we kept doing there almost every day and their food just won our heart each time. All their staff are very good but a special mention for Gopal who was the first waiter we met, he was so helpful and courteous. The Owner is truly lucky to have such a good staff and cook. Please maintain this standard of food and service. Thank you for giving us good memories of the amazing food in our Thailand trip.
The food was better than that I have ever tasted in India. The waitress Diya gave us outstanding service and even the sweet manager Harry. Best meal in Bangkok. “Food with a view”

Nice ambience. Good service by staff. Soft spoken and politeness is appreciable. Food is hygienic and delicious too. Hotel manager Rathnakar takes individual interest on everybody. Best hangout place for Indians n foreigners too. Can be utilized from common people to richest.
I had the leg of lamb and it was phenomenal! The service was incredible and the restaurant was beautiful. Perfect last meal on a wonderful vacation. Highly recommended. Thank you.

The food was great. Quick service. Will highly recommend for folks who prefer Indian vegetarian food. Everything from South Indian dishes to North Indian including chat, Chinese are available. Delicious food.
The food was amazing! The chicken tika masala was very flavorful with a lot of spices ! The lamb is very tender and good! Gopal gives excellent service ! I definitely recommend eating here :)
Hands down, one of the best and most authentic Indian food experiences I've had in Bangkok! This restaurant offers an incredible variety of both northern and southern Indian dishes that keep me coming back almost every day during my stay in the city. The flavors are rich, the spices are perfectly balanced, and every dish is a true delight to the senses. What's even better is that the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. If you're in Bangkok and craving authentic Indian cuisine, this place is an absolute must-visit!
Wow! What an incredible find in Bangkok! This Indian restaurant blew me away with its authenticity and delicious flavors. The menu boasts an extensive selection of both northern and southern Indian dishes, each one crafted with care and bursting with flavor. I couldn't get enough of their chicken tikka - tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. And let's talk about the prices - so reasonable for the quality of food you're getting! Whether you're a die-hard fan of Indian cuisine or just looking for a memorable dining experience in Bangkok, this place is an absolute gem. I'll definitely be back for more!
**This place definitely wasn't what I expected.** I saw some good reviews online so I dragged my friends to Vaishnav Restaurant in Bangkok. Big mistake.

**Let's start with the weird vibes.** There were like 7 to 8 people just chilling and chatting, but only one other customer and one server. We ordered sev Puri, but guess what? They straight-up didn't have sev! Dude literally left to go buy some, which is why our food took 30 minutes to arrive. Not cool.

**On top of the wait, the place wasn't exactly spotless.** The bathroom situation was rough, like really bad smell and overflowing trash. Not exactly an appetizing sight.

**Now, the food. Sigh.** I got the veg thali, and let me tell you, it was sad. Just potato sabzi, paneer, and some questionable dal. The rice and chapati were okay, but that's about it. Ordered Maggie for kids and weren't impressed either.

**Maybe delivery is different?** I dunno, but for sitting down for a meal, this place was a total let down. The whole area felt kinda sketchy too, like we ended up in a random back alley.

**Do yourself a favor and skip Vaishnav.** There are way better Indian restaurants in Bangkok. This one might be okay for delivery, but for dine-in? Hard pass.

Very nice food good ambiance
If you want Indian food with good quality and good taste and good service in Bank Off, then definitely visit it once Indian Express Restaurant... 1. Food quality 10/10 2. Service 10/10 At a very modest price
Happened to stop by this restaurant. Hungry and wanted to order more but after tasting paneer Tikka masala decided not to order anything else. Below average taste and portion is less. Not so nice place either. Staff behavior was questionable as there were no other customers still we couldn't get table in front of AC. Other part of the room wasn't that cool.
Best place for Indian food and service is fantastic.
Really nice rooftop with great food. The service was incredible and the waitress was super helpful with the large food selection. There also was some live music for a cosy atmosphere.
Authentic Indian food in a fancy setting. the name means Madras Palace and restaurant has a palace feel , and the service is great. Friendly staff. Indian people eat there. A bit pricey but a upmarket experience with great food.

I like this place a lot. I came here in 2016 for the first time and returned ever since. The Sunday brunch is great. It used to be even bigger than today but it’s still top. Only thing I miss in comparison to a la card: it lacks a bit of spicyness. Which I guess because it has to cater different tastes.

The view up here is amazing. You have a wonderful view over Benjakitti and Lumphini. Service is superb. Very attentive and professional. The brunch however is very pricey. We paid 3k for two people. I personally cannot eat that much. So next time a la card 😅

Very delicious food, but a bit pricy compared to the competition.

We had Chicken Tika Masala (240 THB), Mango chicken (240 THB) and two rice (80 - 100 THB each).

They give you water in the beginning, but you will have to pay for it if you open it.

The Mango Chicken was a bit spicy (we didn't mind!), portions were a good size (definitely enough). Very good food.

The staff is very kind and friendly.

One of the many Indian restaurants here, the food was delicious and perfectly made. We were in a hurry so couldn't eat as much as I would have liked! The ambience is good. The staff is friendly. Must visit if you want to check out Indian style food in Bangkok.
On 14-3-2024, We had a team dinner in this restaurant.
The ambience is first class, It's a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view from the terrace.
They served very delicious food.
The best part is that they have live music with Indian old songs.
The staff is very courteous and very polite.
Those who want to try Indian cousins, must visit this restaurant.
My Indian friend suggested this place has authentic Indian food. We love it as the food is very tasty. Even though I can cook butter chicken well, their butter chicken is thickier and spicier. We also tried chicken tandoorI which is very tasty.

It's a pure veg restaurant.
All South Indian, north Indian food is available here.
The taste is good.
Ambience is good.
These people are theives. Do not order food from them. Even on Grab app they rob people and send wrong orders. See picture of 2 vegetable sandwiches I ordered which cost me 330 baht. Only 1 sandwich was sent. That too with only bread and cabbage inside. Pathetic!!!
Definitely the best Indian food in Bangkok! I went there every week😋
good fresh Indian food that it friendly on the pocket.
in a small alley, but that makes it a nice and quite quiet.
they have an air conditioned restaurant upstairs, but such is the atmosphere on the ground floor, that you don't need to go on top floor.
has a nice chat with the manager too.
that are on food panda, grab and line. registered as bombay masala express.
contact the manager and get it delivered on a budget.
full marks.

Vicky the manager was an absolute superstar! He read my booking details and knew it was my birthday, and had flower petals on the table and sat us at the best seat in the house with the best view of Bangkok. The staff were so attentive and polite, and so accommodating for our mild palate. I would highly recommend for an authentic Indian meal and experience. The decor is exquisite and beautiful.
Small indian restaurant in Bangkok near Ramada D'ma hotel. The owner is very polite.

We spent our last night in Thailand here at Bangkok’s very own Rang Mahal. The set menu by our Michelin Plated Chef was absolutely one of the best, if not THE best Indian food we’ve had.

Rang Mahal is a hidden gem, which I hope stays hidden indeed. Will definitely recommend and stop by again should we fly out again to the far east!
Just like an Indian restaurant.. wowo 4 time visited with family.. staff is friendly.. value for . money. Palladium, platinum, Big C , Indra square.. just 2 min walk...

An amazing restaurant nestled in Sukhumvit that serves some brilliant veg food... Jain, Gujju, South Indian, Bengali, Punjabi, Chinese and Indian street food too... I tried their Undhiyu and Dhokla, Chaats and Chinese, and a Rajasthani roti, a veritable fusion of flavours... all paired with interesting mocktails... and followed by an array of desserts. The service is impeccable and the menu, exhaustive, and you will need several visits to even sample your favorites here. Every dish is prepared the traditional way, the hard way, and it is so evident in every bite. Truly saras chhé!
Really good Indian restaurant in Bangkok. We tried dishes we had not seen before: medu vada and plain dosa. We were not disappointed. We got to meet the owner and his lovely family. Definitely recommended
Pure Authentic HALAAL Indian Cuisine in Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed the food.
No Alcohol served on the premises. Gopal served us and he was fantastic. Will definitely recommend.

Rang Mahal is the most delicious, and scenic Indian restuarant in Bangkok. Situated on the 26th floor of Rembrandt Hotel's north wing, we had a great welcome and excellent service from the staff and manager Mr. Ramji. We had 3 curries, Butter chicken, Rogan Josh, and the Tikka Masalla all superb. The Briyani got a huge thumbs up from my partner, who isn't a Briyani fan, and the Naan and Paratha were excellent. 5 out of 5.

Horrible experience. Supposed to be one of the best vegetarian restaurants in BKK.
Crazy amount of oil/butter in pav bhaji. Felt sick just looking at it!!!!!
Also the quantity for the price was sad.
Also ordered Ragda pattice, taste was good, but no chutney or coriander on top. Zero presentation.

17 of us just had the most amazing meal and experience at Rang Mahal restaurant. Vinod (Vicky) faciliated the booking for our large group and were very accommodating. We were lucky to be seated near the wonderful live musician who happily took our requests for some Hindi classic songs and sang beautifully.

The food was outstanding, with every dish having its own distinct flavour, beautifully presented and sensational taste. We had an opportunity to thank head chef Amit ji. Our order included the pani puri, paneer, bhaigan and daal which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The service was impeccable by all staff and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting high end Indian cuisine in Bangkok!

Many thanks to Vicky and his team for a wonderful experience!

We needed Kadak Tandoori Roti chef made it FRESH . We were not getting good Indian food for last three days . Rasoi did amazing job and changed our experience. Thank you . 🙏
Just come see for yourself. My wife and I are so happy to have come here. We asked our waiter to recommend our meal and I can’t begin to thank him enough. Great food and service experience. We will be back next week for sure before we leave Bangkok. Highly recommend

Please don't go with the stars here. We have being fooled. People have given 5 stars because they have this free desert for every 5 star review.
It's the worst hotel in Bangkok. I tried so many hotels in my 6 day stay in Bangkok and Pattaya this is the worst hotel. Wish there was a option to rate in minus. I had to forcibly give 1 star as that is the least in reviews.
1. Delay in service: There was no crowd still the service was too delayed. My father in law was diabetic so we asked him the time range before ordering and he said 10 mins. We were served wrong food post 30 minutes waiting.
2. Quality of food: the soup was just too thick. Seems they just used aararoot powder so much that the soup had that raw smell of it.
3. No knowledge about the menu: when we asked waiter about the food that is best he was blank and when we asked him about the difference in thalis mentioned in menu, he had to get another waiter he too was only aware about 2 thalis and then the other waiter came even he wasn't sure. So we went back and order ala carte.
4. Lack of communication: We ordered food something else and the waiter served us something else. We had specially mentioned no paneer as one of the member of our family was alergic to dairy product. Still they served us panner vegetable and when we questioned them then they served us the same food after removing paneer. Hence all vegetable curry is same they just replace the veggies. And to mentioned our family member had an alergy post having that curry as they just replaced vegetable in curry.
5. Unclean table: They clean the table with same cloth and don't wash it. The moment waiter cleaned the table there was that stink on the table. Luckily I had face wipes because of which we could have our dinner.
Over all feedback: Better have thepla which any Indian might have carried while going to out of India. Or any ready to eat meal boxes or just order anything from 7 eleven or have fruits or just go to sleep hungry. Please don't go to Saras... It's not at all saras. If I still planning all the best and God bless u.
We had vegetarian food and it’s one of the best places that matches almost the taste we get in India.
Indian restaurant in Asoke neighborhood!
I ordered these for 2 people:
- Chicken Tikka Masala / 140THB
- Murg Tandoori (half; 4 pieces) / 200THB
- Palak Paneer (spinach & cheese) / 140THB
- Garlic Naan / 50THB

- Portion: It was very filling! We couldn't finish all the dishes and so packed them back home! 🫄
- Chicken Tikka Masala was a bit too spicy for me personally, so next time, we might order something less spicy. 🥵
- Staff: The male staff was kind enough to explain each dish and gave recommendations. We really enjoyed the Palak Paneer! 👍
- Overall, great value! I would return to try their other menu. 😃

Majority of the Indian restaurants around that area use high amount of masala but this restaurant doesn't use much. I ordered Veg Thali & Lassi and they were really delicious. The staff are friendly too. Hopefully, they maintain their service & quality like this for a long term.
Came to this restaurant on a fairly quiet evening so not many in the place itself but they seemed to be busy with takeaways which was reassuring!

Service and food was spot on. Really, really enjoyed the fish amritsari and the murg tandoori chicken. Would maybe steer clear of the aloo chaat (more to do with the types of potatoes than anything else)

Oh and another thing….bring your own booze!!
I came from sukhumvit to pratunam just to eat in this restaurant because I ordered food two times from them at night and it was very tasty. But today it was different and I am very upset. Firstly, I entered the shop and was greeted by no one. Three people just kept staring at me. I ordered and sat, neither menu was given nor water. AC was turned ON after a minute of noticing me sweating. The attendant and supervisor didn't pay any attention to me until I asked for the menu. They were busy on their phones. The nix veg was under cooked and the chapati was hard. I am sad that I went to this place, I should have tried any road side vendor, and that would have been nicer.

Don't recommend, never going back.👎
This pure veg restaurant serves relishing food and also has a lot of variety in their menu. They have amazing food options.

The best thing I liked were their thalis. They served Punjabi and Gujarati thali. They also had an option for half thali which was great. The food was reasonably priced. The restaurant was spacious too.

Also they had sweets like kaju katli, Gulab Jamun which you can get packed for take away.

We had Bhel puri, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Rotis and a Punjabi Thali. We liked everything. The food was fresh and hot. Also, the service is prompt.

Overall had a good dining experience.

WOW! What an experience - we were warmly greeted by Pil who clearly has a lot of experience in the hospitality industry. Amazing recommendation for our takeaway meal and while we waited suggested a drink at the rooftop bar (on the same level).

Completely wowed by the Exceptional service and the food was hands down the BEST Indian I’ve ever had. The chef special beetroot with goats cheese is 100% delicious too. Unbelievably good and if you get the chance to either done in (stunning views) or takeaway (packed beautifully) I’d recommend it. Even if you aren’t staying at the Rembrandt Sukhumvit you can still dine in. Will be back (probably tomorrow as it was that good)!!!

Sara’s veg is a little place set back inside a soi … it’s a very quaint little place!

I brought my dinner group here because we love having Indian food and I want to try that Indian veg food for everyone so of course I attracted all the vegetarian’s in my dinner group!

We tried a whole bunch of different things, the Masala Dosa, being the popular, and of course the veg Indian thali!

Many of us are quite pleased with the quality of the food here and of course, I know the owner of this restaurant, who is a very sweet gentleman who knows a thing or two about what to serve, and what’s popular, and went to recommend!

The staff was very attentive and friendly, and overall the place is a good place to go and eat with a group or even a loan prices are quite reasonable!

Make sure you follow fauzia for honest reviews in and around Thailand 🇹🇭 we are also on IG, FB and YT so visit our other channels and make sure you follow us here! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Very good food, as well as the service, liked it here
Generally the service was fair however we go for food. Very average hotel with respect to the food not a great taste and they have some cheap veggies in the plate of meals and very average quantity it’s a limited! Very loud Tamil music annoys sometimes- if you going for a good taste forgot about it and the price is also in the higher side for simple
Meals not recommended at all. Considering the quantity and price and taste I rate 1 star
INDIAN REVIEW : 5 STARS - check out the photos.

We ordered yellow daal, dum aloo, chicken tikka masala, tawa roti and steam rice.

FOOD : 5 STARS for the food. It was delicious and worth every penny. The taste was exactly Indian. You'll get a complimentary onion salad as well. It's not too expensive.

LOCATION : 5 STARS for the location. It is right in front of the Ramada Hotel. Easy to find.

SERVICE : 5 STARS for the service. The food was served in 10 minutes. The staff is friendly. Many foreigners (not Indians) visit here to dine.

The food was delicious. We had our lunch buffet here. Liked the Roti, dhall and karela kachri there.
Excellent Indian restaurant in pratunam area. Authentic South Indian meals and masala chai. These 2 must try. Their starters as in pepper chicken, mushroom soup are good as well. Reasonably priced and good quantity. The owner and staffs are all friendly. My go to place, if I am in Pratunam.

Being Indian, its hard to find quality restaurant , specially when you love spicy foods and hygienic environment . This restaurant serves the purpose. I had dined yesterday, their service and foods are awesome and service is unmatched.

Price of food is reasonable and moreover, management behaviour is great. They treat customer with utmost respect. Its must go place .

Live Music - Yes

This is probably the Best Indian Restaurant FINE DINING in Bangkok. We have been to almost every possible restaurant and this place is way above the quality and delicious mouthful bites any restaurant provides.

We have known this restaurant for 25 years or more, since I was a kid. The taste is exactly the same. Never thought of reviewing this place until recently, as we have been eating here for decades.

Excellent food, delicious taste. Appetizers were soft and good. People here are more like family by now. Some of them from decades, loved seeing them.

The view is just amazing. Beats every rooftop view.

Live music makes the whole experience delightful. Every song in the background was noticably enjoyable. Dear Udi and friend, you have a beautiful voice.

Dear, Vicky and everyone, specially one of the oldest Thai Staff working for many years, Thank you for always taking care of everything. Many Thanks 🙏
God bless
Delicious 😋 food with reasonable prices.

Good collection of Indian Street food, sweets from all over India.
This is good for vegetarians as it's primarily a pure veg restaurant. The food is good but the taste varies at times. I would recommend the chole bhature, kachori and rasmalai. In drinks my go to favorite is masala chach.

The food here is above average and you would get an Indian feeling as if you were eating somewhere in India.

The owner specially arranged different food for us as well and was quite friendly as well. Would recommend a visit. Although the location could use an improvement but otherwise it was a place you could visit but not necessarily take a detour to.
Worst indian food in all my life, currys taste like bad soup. Like water with spices with 4 pcs of chicken bones Rice uncooked, potatoes soggy and nan bread bland. Uneatable food. This is the first I ever leave a review btw...

Good option for Indian food.
1. Quality and taste of food is good. Majorly serves veg food with few non veg options in buffet.
2. Service a bit slow but still ok.
3. Location is good. Walking distance from Indra Square market.
Overall would recommend this place to eat tasty, good quality veg Indian food.
Amazing food. Mr. Vijay is very caring and help he also offers tour guidance at very low rates

We had kadhai paneer with chapati and masala papad. Trust me it's the best food out of 5 restaurants I have had.

They also offer on the go parcel food.

Best restaurant in this part of Bangkok.

Highly recommended!!

One of the worst food quality our team had in this restaurant. No taste at all. We left the restaurant in between.

Also the behaviour of the owner/manager with mixed white beard , an Indian middle 50+ guy, was very bad as if he was offering the service for free. Will never recommend this restaurant.
Now having my dinner at Mother_India. It’s much better.
