Came in during the week and back on friday night. Jacob, Justin and Anthony were all extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were fair and everything worked. I got magic cards and retro games. 10/10

Vanessa is an angel!!! She went up and down the stairs helping me, and she was the most patient and kind person ever. She helped me assess what would colors and quantities would be best over the course of an hour. I felt super bad about taking up so much of her and the staff's time, but they always were so patient. The whole staff is so joyful and excited to help! Love the store!
I had one of the worst experience dealing with the front cashier lady and the older guy working there. They were very unprofessional and mean to me. The guy even said "because you didn't buy anything and are leaving out the door we can't help you no more so you should leave". I don't know if they both were racist but their service to me was not good at all. All I wanted was the price of a clearance clock that had no price tag and when I asked them they didn't give me the right price or tell me what the discounted price was and was again very rude to me. It was my first time to this location and I will not be coming here anymore and they have lost a good customer.

Literally best video game / card shop on the island. Friendliest and chillest staff ever, such a welcoming sense to the place and all around good vibe. Love the selection of video games and tcg cards as well. Very nice decorations all around the store and very nice organized displays, much care is taken in the store.

What an amazing chain of stores! The selection wasn't as bountiful as the one I went to in Florida, but still a great place to shop and even just to explore! The staff was the best! Very friendly and helpful. Love the background music.

I've been to board game stores across the nation, whenever I travel for work (10-15x per year) I hit the local shop. This is easily one of the top 3 shops I've been to. What makes it so good?
Cleanliness and organization - this may be the most clean store I've been to and they have laid it out in a very logical way with plenty of space for maneuvering around.
Selection - Their board have selection was ridiculously deep. I found games that I had heard about but never seen in a store. This included both big games and small games.
Friendliness - I had multiple workers ask me if I needed help finding anything, or if I'd like recommendations. It was great. They also had 4-5 people working which was awesome.
I can't say enough good about this place. But they also had a good size hanging area and an in-store bar.

Took transfer paper back for a refund cause it was way to sticky for my vinyl couldn't get the vinyl off the transfer paper... so got in then when they scanned it for the return it was less money to be refunded then what it cost me which is completely wrong and theft in my opinion !!!!

We did not feel safe shopping here. Strange people approached us. The cashier Scott kept trying to stuff my flowers I bought into the bag while I kept telling it was fine but he wouldn’t stop. My flowers fell off because he was trying to jam them into the bag. How special can you be? Worst hobby lobby I’ve ever been to.
great experience every time. as a woman, i’ve had uncomfortable experiences in other card shops on the island - never at east end. great selection of games, great selection of cards. fair prices from what i’ve seen. the renovations they’ve done are awesome. the place is bright, open, welcoming. specifically there is one employee who goes above and beyond every single time i see them. i don’t know their name but today, 8/7/24, they were wearing a black “tcg player” shirt, a backwards hat and a black mask. thank you for your patience and attentiveness! and for helping me pick out my first commander deck! super knowledgeable from MTG to pokemon to one piece. between my two roommates and i, only great things to say!

This place is awesome....I don't have an RC drift car yet.... But I had to venture out and see this place in person. Everyone there is friendly, I could ask them questions about their cars to get an idea what I'm getting into. 3 of them were kinda enough to let me try their cars. It's definitely an acquired skill of practicing to get the car going the direction you want. Seeing these cars run and do a line of tandem drifting was crazy to see in person. I loved ever minute I was there....the owner, Ken, was also great to speak with and gave me a lot of information regarding this hobby, types of chassis, and about parts. I'm itching to go back and have a car of my own. Just need to decide what I'm going to build. And so, After watching YT vids of RC drifting for months, and finding this place was great to see the perspective of the size of the cars and track. This place has 2 tracks, 1 for drifting and 1 for fast paced racers. There was talk of them making a mini drift track for smaller cars under 1/10. In progress.... If you want to learn more about RC drifting and have a new RC addiction, this is the place to go too....✌️✌️.
Really great prices! The staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. They have a nice selection on fabrics and art supplies. Great place to get wall decor for decorating pretty much any room in the house but really great for a boys room (kid and teenager). Tons of Hot Wheels and Marvel options.
Some of the best and quality trading cards and gaming collections around. Magic/pokemon/yugioh at fair market prices. Rare and hard to find games and systems with no price gouging and fair to market on them also. I’ve also traded in many things to them (both gaming and cards) with no headaches. Never felt I was taken advantage of. Would always recommend Jacob and the crew here to anyone looking to sell or buy.

Very cool place! The card guy was super cool, and they game dude was very informative. They didn't have the item I was looking for though, big sad. But for the service they provide, and the stockthey have... worth stopping by.
Best customer service experience! Staff is very helpful and kind. Had trouble finding a couple of things but Mari and Diana helped me out and were really patient with me. Definitely will be coming back
I came here to play the One Piece TCG on Sundays and was quickly welcomed by their staff and shown around the store. Not only do they have a great space to play card games at, but the other half of the store is all Gaming/Retro Gaming focused and full of everything you could want! I’m always greeted with a smile and happy to come back each week. They also offer great deals and promotional events through their social media that keeps me on my toes!

This place is awesome! We were visiting out of town with our dog and they let us bring her in. We played board games for hours here and staff are super friendly. Great wide selection here of board games too.
It's your average Michaels, but I've been here twice and it was understaffed both times. Corporate needs to hire more people.
By far one of the worst hobby lobbies that I've ever been into, the staff is beyond rude and they just look like they're all in terrible moods each day! Walked up to check out at the register and the older gentleman did not greet me at all, one of the supervisors was directing people around at the front and she looked like she was just having a horrible day. I guess I would be in a bad mood if I had to work daily with people like this.
Right off the bat I love Paper Source as a company. Their stuff is always on the pricier end when it come to stationery related items, but the price is worth it for what you're getting. And the staff are always great! They're super helpful and always have great suggestions without ever being pushy or making me feel like I'm being sold to.

I love the store but the every time I go, the cashiers are super slow. Today was the worst. There was one cashier who took forever checking someone out, he kept needing help, nothing was marked. The woman who was helping him was equally very slow. There was no concern about the lines that were forming. The manager finally did call someone in for help and when I went to her, I thought I would checked out quickly. But instead, the first item I wanted to buy had no price tag. I noticed around the store that there were a lot of missing prices and each customer that was checking out had no prices and so they constantly had to look things up. Instead of simply running back to find the item for the price, they chose to go on their ipad and they couldn't find it. Then the cashier did the same thing. Then they were talking to each other about how the signal was bad in that part of the store. Yet neither of them just simply ran to the area of the store to check the price. I was in line for 15 minutes! The lack of care about how this affected me and the other customers behind me was just really frustrating. I had plans to come back later today, but I don't want to go through that again.
I believe I spoke with Jacob today and by far the best customer service I've ever had. Jacob was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made the experience of visiting the store for the 1st time a memorable one. I live about 2 hours away but I'll definitely be back due to the great customer service and wide selection of items in stock.

Quaint shop in Alexandria, VA. Lots of pretty items for a special gift to choose from. Not just a paper store, but a gift store for all occasions.
A quirky store with quite a few nifty paper, craft supplies, niche gifts, and plushie options. Definitely a bit pricey so save some money before coming here. Also they give you a baguette paper bag if you buy wrapping paper.
This is hands down the greatest local game store I've ever been to. The selection inside is mind blowing and extremely well organized. They had very rare games that were hard to find even online. The staff was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful giving many recommendations with detailed descriptions of each game and how they work, it was very clear the man I was talking to knew all about board games. I didn't have a chance to play anything from their expansive game wall or magic in their huge playing area. They seemed to also sell alcohol which is a huge bonus for some people. Overall this local game store is jaw dropping and i would recommend going out of your way to check this place out.
I came to Michael’s to use the framing service thinking it would be cheaper than Framebridge. Not only was I incorrect, the service was horrible and the process has been very frustrating. The woman who helped me was quite slow and seemed novice. I didn’t realize at the time that she typed in my name and phone number wrong. I never received a confirmation email, and after 2 months of waiting for a call, I called to find out my frame had been ready for weeks. When I went to pick up, the frame was scratched and had to be fixed. I asked for a call from the manager, which I never received. I will never be using their services again.

As a scultor, mixed media artist, and business owner, this is my favorite store for a level 3 heavy-duty canvas for my art and siser htv for designing T-shirts and sweatshirts.

This is a place people go to burn their money. The models they're selling are such a cheap quality plastic that you need to buy specialized Clippers to cut them out otherwise you will break them and there is zero refund policy. The employees have no interest in talking to you about what it is they're selling unless you are going to be buying and already know everything about Warhammer. Their customers unfortunately are as rude as the employees, I completely understand because I would be super paranoid if I spent close to $1,000 on cheap plastic and somebody just walked by and gently grazed it and it broke, seems like something you shouldn't do in public but there they are in the store. I find it ironic that this hasn't been completely shut down considering the way we have demonized plastic and all this store does is sell plastic plastic toxic glues and waste cardboard to package it. Good luck surviving the New World Order just not going to do it on my dime. Also they are not kid friendly because again this is overpriced plastic that breaks easily and if there's one thing little kids do it's break plastic things.

What an awesome hobby shop and race track. The off-road carpet track is always setup and they seem to change it often. I run team associated cars which they carry quite a few parts for so if I break something usually they can keep me running. There’s also a drift car track that looks super fun.
Great place for any games you may need. The staff are extremely helpful when prompted with just a few ideas, returning with multiple games that you can choose from asking with a synopsis of the game! Alex, who helped me, was phenomenal! There's a selection of "small" games, averaging about 20-25$ and they range up to $2-300.
As an aside, they few one of the cleanest restrooms I've seen, with complimentary amenities.

Tyler was the man! I don't usually do reviews, but I was so amazed by this store. I was on the fence about this hobby for a year, and with Tyler's help, it made getting into the hobby very enjoyable. Thank you!
Nice store. Affiliated with Barnes and Noble. Found a wall calender with paper that can be easily written on with ink .
They had some really cute Halloween stuff and there is a decent variety of craft items there, but I was really disappointed to hear that they basically removed their leatherwork section and that they got rid of their cosplay supply section entirely. It took forever to find an employee to ask a question to, but they were nice when we finally did. The smells in this place are jarring. I was in there for fifteen minutes and left with a headache.
Really lovely store, great selection of products. Kid friendly with paper craft out the back on the day that we visited. Vanessa was lovely and answered all our questions when we visited.
Great Indoor RC Racing Track For Beginners up to the Pros. Lots of Cool People Hanging out with Great Vibes all around doing what they love! Also Has a Nice Drifting course! You can Buy Snacks and Drinks as well as parts and cars! Highly Recommend if your just looking to have a Great time Racing or Drifting!
Love this store but the customer service was lacking. I have been to the one in the Loop, Naperville and here. Everywhere else the associates went above and beyond, price matching, offering to call other stores to see their stock etc. The associate I dealt with the other day when I asked about a specific product told me they did not have it and it was probably discontinued... I was told at the lab store in the city it was one of their most popular colors so I'm not sure if this is true but it just seemed as if they didn't care and didn't want to help. They did not offer to call the Naperville store or anything. I did so. And was told, "Hope you have better luck at Naperville."
This paper source location has a wonderful selection of seasonal gifts, fine paper, journals and cards. My wife and I ordered our wedding invitations here many years ago and the staff was so helpful. I come here often to get my wife little gifts for her journals. Just a lovely store and a favorite of ours on M Street NW.

This is the best run store in the entire mall. Lauren the manager is lovely and so professional! Every employee is so welcoming and knowledgable about everything in the store as well. If you need any gift ideas for someone this place truely is an inspiration for that. I highly recommend coming here for all your invitation needs and cute gifts!
This is a cool little shop filled with Warhammer products. If they don't have it on hand, they will happily special order it for you. There are tables set up for gaming and for crafting. I enjoy taking my models there to paint and to show them off to other people. There's even a case dedicated to displaying people's projects, finished or in-progress. It's a very friendly place to meet people who share your interests in the 40K universe, and Tyler and Sky are not only awesome people, but they know their stuff! I always enjoy my visits there, even if I don't buy anything.
This place is great for carpet off-road and drift RC. The shop is primarily pro oriented so don't expect to find basher RTRs or parts.

Had a really lovely experience when I popped in for a bit tonight. I forgot to ask the name of the person we were talking to, but she was really kind and friendly. Had a conversation about paper textures and she offered different wrapping options to make it easy to carry with me :)

Not the biggest location but they have a massive section for Christmas decorations. You definitely don't have to worry about missing this section, takes up a good portion of the store. Standard for the brand overall. Parking is plentiful. If you're coming from the Target side of the entrance, traffic can be a bear. This location shares a parking lot with many popular establishments. Staff were warm, waiting to help anyone coming in the door. It was refreshing. I'll be back to experience this solid location.
Wow! This store is super cool especially if you live paper goods and fun odds and ends. They had a really good selection of Halloween papers. The prices are a little on the higher side but you could definitely find something for under $10 in here just have fun making up your mind 😉. Definitely worth a stop and the girl who helped me was super nice!!
Well stocked paper source, with all of the knick knacks you expect from paper source. More small gifts and toys, tote bags, candles, etc. The true stationary selection is more limited than I feel it should be for the stores goal. Good for gift wrap and gift bags. All aspects of the store are only accessible by stairs. There are upstairs and downstairs check out counters but when I was there the upstairs one was the only one open.

Tyler was so helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my son's questions, and there were a lot. Haha! He gave some great painting tips for figs and what paint to use and how to use them. He actually got my 12 year old interested in painting all the Blood Bowl teams he has put together!
I really wish I’d made it to the track sooner! Awesome little hobby shop stocked with all the things to need to race. A small track for the bashers and a larger competition track. The facility is well maintained, the jumps are well crafted. You can tell the owner and the locals really pure their heart into this facility. I can’t wait to go back!

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent gift shop, perfect for people who love giving gifts. I got card stock, stamps, and ink pads for my mom who loves to send cards so she can make her own. She is super hard to shop for and this really hit the spot as a unique gift she will be sure to use!
I had a terrific experience here. I had a last minute impulse to write my girlfriend a poem for our anniversary. I went to PS to ask for help dressing it up. I was treated like I was planning a royal wedding. Michele (their calligrapher) immediately “got it” and took my project to the next level. They were delightful to deal with and I got a great finished product in two hours. The cost was shockingly reasonable.
I came across this store when looking for burgundy envelopes for my wedding invitations. I’m so glad I came across this gem! I met Gina the manager and was highly impressed by how knowledgeable, professional, and hard working she is. She provided great recommendations for customizing the envelopes and they turned out beautiful. The week of my wedding, when I had issues with my Welcome Sign, I contacted her and she reassured me that she could help me and made herself available. I truly appreciate her!
I'm not a hobbyist, but decided to check out the store anyway. I have some vases that can benefit from some pretty artificial flowers and the selection here is impressive. My favorite framing store closed and this would be a convenient place to bring pictures that need framing in the future. A nice place to find things you didn't know you needed. Going through the checkout line(s), however, is unnecessarily challenging. Someone needs to figure it out and let people know where to stand.

Extremely friendly and patient. Quite knowledgeable personnel helping me out start out my 1st tabletop collection. Great recommendations and the place is really clean. Would have loved to stick around for a tabletop match to learn but safety comes first.
I went to Michaels to get things I needed to make cupcakes. They have a variety of cake and cupcakes products. Besides that, the store has a whole selection of jewelry, crafts, toys etc. You should come visit. They have safety dividers at the registers and everyone wear a mask.

This place is amazing! It is the best crafting store I have ever seen. I was here two hours and I did not finish looking at everything they have. They also have seasonal discounts. The employees are very helpful and polite. The store is super clean and organized, and if you can think it, they have it!
First time in here! Super duper cute stuff for the kids today. I loved Gina's customer service she was very attentive and helpful. Very knowledgeable in all the products the store carries. I loved the monogram she did on my purchase.
I love Paper Source, but this location is incredibly inaccessible for wheel chairs, strollers, walkers, etc. The only way to shop is to either go up or downstairs and there is not an elevator. As far as the products and staff, both were great! I found what I needed and the staff was wearing masks, sanitizing and they were helpful!
Always very friendly and helpful here! The products are of course adorable and it’s an excellent place to find gift wrap and unique greeting cards! Did an over-the-phone order with Nicole who couldn’t have been any nicer. She made it easy to get everything I wanted with safe curbside pick up!

Seasonal and holiday decorations, a great assortment. Very spacious and we'll organized, very friendly and knowledgeable staff too. 😉👍
I am in love with this place! The service is amazing. Everyone who works there is always happy to help. They have a huge selection to choose from. I never have a hard time finding what I need. Everything is organized and clean in the store. There are always sales going on. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for supplies for a new project or if you want to spice things up in your home.

The prices are similar/in-line with rivals (AKA Michael's), except for their custom framing which seems to be cheaper here!

I love Paper Source! Plenty of things for your creative fix! I love coming in here when I have a project or just for fun to get inspired.
The staff is always helpful with creative solutions to my projects. They even offer classes sometimes. Beautiful options for invitations too! Always find cute gift ideas here too. The also sell online so I have used that option when it was something that I already new how it looked and felt and just needed more of certain envelope. Certainly even more fun for in-store experience!

I am usually forced into this place with my mother when she is in town visiting. She loves the place, I personally thought the prices were high for colored paper and cards but if this is what makes my mother happy, I love the place. Only docking one star for prices but if you are crafty or love artsy stuff check this place out. The whole area is fun to walk around. The staff is always helpful and parking can be found on the street if you are lucky.
