Stocks seem low post CoVid but that's on suppliers, not the local store. I've scored some great finds in the clearance bins!
This is the closest to my house. In reference to stickers/ die cuts for scrapbooking. Very limited selection. The staff gives good customer service. Most of the time when I go in, end up buying other things that I am not looking for but need for later.

For several trips over many months, I have been unable to find what I needed. When I do find it, it is much more expensive ($2 or more) than other local stores. Some items in the store are more than $20 more expensive than they are at Michael's online. Not worth continuing to stop there.
It's still my favorite art/craft store. Also my go-to for framing custom art, and jewelry making ideas.
Nicely laid out, clean, and had a thorough embroidery section that carried many of the DMC threads that the nearby Joann's Fabric didn't have! I'm looking forward to using their in-store framing, as well. (Plus, self check-out is always a nice bonus. )
Michaels had everything I was looking for and more! I went in for one thing but they had the cutest Easter stuff. And it was all 50% off! They always have the best deals. Like 50% off one full priced item or 20% off total. If you are a teacher and sign up for discounts you automatically get 15% off every purchase! It was super easy to sign up and I only have to put in my phone number at check out.
Michaels has been a great store in the past, however this location made all but 1 register self check out. This is extremely frustrating, I don’t want to navigate their POS system. They will lose a lot of business, the employees do not care. I’ll go to Hobby Lobby where they have sales associates that can and will help you.

One of the best places to find craft supplies. 70% off all canvases. So instead of $60 for two large canvases, I paid $20!
I brought my kids here for the “Make Break” and regretted it. I live centrally and so I could really pick any store to go to. Our last visit was to Douglasville, and this time here. My understanding is that registrants can drop in anytime between 2-4p. We arrived around 3:30p. I walked in and asked where the classroom was, I was told that the class was over and they were cleaning up because the person “teaching” had to leave early.
I asked for a manager and “Zina” and she said we could “still do it” and to just purchase the eggs. She said they started cleaning up because there was no one. After purchasing three eggs I see Zina bringing chairs down and just 2 tubs of craft supplies smack dab in the front of the store. I asked why it wasn’t in the class and she said the “instructions said to do it in front of the store.” Of course there was no teacher so we were undercut for the actual “class.” It also appeared awkward and we could’ve easily had the “class at home.” This was very ghetto and thrown together. Poorly executed and poorly explained. Zina and the other worked had contradicting stories and I didn’t appreciate the way this was handled.

Really cute store, lots of options and colors but the guy at the register is not friendly nor kind, I asked a simple question and he was annoyed, I was paying by cash and he grabbed all from hands, he finished the sell by going to the back of the store 'because there was no business out here '
I was going into Michael’s in Naperville and as I was about to walk in there is a short Hispanic lady slamming the doors together. She does not give me any eye contact. Apparently she was having trouble with the doors. Still not acknowledging me while I’m waiting to go in she opens the door huffing and mumbling. I didn’t understand what she said or if she was even talking to me. She really needs to work on her customer service. It was really awkward and uncomfortable. Nobody greets anyone there.
This was my first time custom framing anything, and the associate, Taylor, was incredible. Taylor helped us through the entire process and was super informative throughout the process. It's even more gorgeous than I envisioned. Excellent customer service! 👌

Made our own superbowl shirts! They had a t-shirt sale of $2.99. Combo that with spray paint and whatever else you want to put on the shirt and you've got a personal gift that is better than store bought

Lots of assortments of crafts. Friendly staff. We live an hour away from the store, so we do shop more at their online store. But some things you just have to see yourself. Great cake decorating items. Wish they had more party items as the party store in town closed
Their selection is limited compared to locations in other cities, but their customer service is wonderful.
As an artist & photographer- This is one of my go to stores. It’s easy to spend too much time looking at what they have and what is new. They are always ahead of the holidays for the crafty people. I saw Valentine’s Day, St.Patricks Day and even Easter decorations out in Jan. Their framing department is top notch and I have had several personal pieces framed here with peace of mind. They have a new state of the art self check out computer at the counter which shows the product pictures on screen and will likely speed up your process after spending all that time filling up your cart. ;)
All I can say is WOW. Came by twice last week twice this week and they are never opened during BUSINESS hours.I watched four customers with in a half hour walk up to the door an saw them pull the handle to disappointment. I don't know what the point is of having a one if your not going to MAINTAIN one. Have the common courtesy to let customers know that the place isn't going to be open for awhile. Such a missed opportunity.
Not only a well stocked store with great selection of all things Games Workshop, but a knowledgeable and incredibly helpful man running the place. Tons of passion for the hobby and it shows.

The People are nice when they're actually open. The amount of times I've driven there to see a BRB sign on the door or for them to just close 2 hours early is ridiculous. You don't want to work don't post false hours. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Game Kastle or buy online
Was about to buy something. Was told it was 50% off. It rang up to 40% off. I told the lovely cashier that the man who I believe was the manager had just said it was 50% off. He, after he finished stuffing chocolates into his mouth told me to RELAX! I said don’t tell me to RELAX & he said “I won’t be yelled at”. If you don’t like your job QUIT! The female cashier was nothing but polite & accommodating. The manager was super rude. Needless to say, I put down the item & said “I’m not having a good time” & did not make a purchase.
Horrible. The owner's response to me for a part was, “If I don't need it, I do not have it.” This is my second visit to her, and her attitude is the worst; she makes it seem you’re a waste of time and does not attempt to assist. She will say no before you finish speaking. Never again to this place

Stopped in to check out this store because it's on my commute. Some with the owner who was super friendly. They have about 6 tables which could host about 12 players and the shop is mostly TCG focused.

Great place to go R/C car racing and the staff is very knowledgeable! Very well stocked with high end parts and entry level as well. Biggest mini z track in the state. Great high bite indoor clay track.
Great place, very collegial group of people. And Mimi, the owner, is very helpful. Importantly, pricing for the teack and repairs/parts is very reasonable.
This was my first time visiting this location, and let me tell you, The customer service is beyond great! I had the “brilliant” idea of buying canvases that didn’t fit my car, and Jay went above and beyond to help me solve my issue and be able to bring them home! Thank you so much! I will definitely be coming back!!

Christine and Zach are the real deal and are experts in the Michael’s custom framing department. Christine is the true seasoned expert who truly has an eye for the right frame, matting and additional trim bordering if necessary according to the customer’s needs. Zach’s art background brings another layer and level of depth to helping to decide what will fulfill the customer’s hopes and dreams and purposes for the framing of their art and or illustrations/ pictures.
We haven’t even gotten our product back since we just placed an order today, but they are truly amazing and an asset to the company and should be rewarded handsomely. Customer Service and character and kindness displayed by both Christine and Zach are the reason why we will be back!

What a charming store!!! Looks like straight out of Stars Hollow or a Hallmark holiday movie. Vanessa, the sales associate who helped me, was so sweet! I had trouble with something and everyone on staff worked together to help me. I was touched. A+ customer service all around. Everyone who works here should know how good of a job they do!
we visited the week before halloween and it seemed as though it was an early christmas sale because they had a lot of items out and at a good low price. there were also mark downs on halloween and fall items as well which we ended up purchasing. i would also advise to keep an eye out for online coupons or in store prices to take advantage of the pricing before purchasing. we did spend a little time wandering as it seemed like they didn't have enough available staff for the people in the store but that was fine. the store itself shares the parking lot with the other stores in the shopping center.

Nice crafts store. Art lovers would love this place. The best part is the photo framing section. They have got numerous photo frames of different sizes and they can be customized too.
Fable Hobby has truly won me over with their exceptional range of Pokemon TCG cards and their outstanding customer service. As an avid collector and player, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
About a week ago i bought a Paldea Evolved Booster Box, and when i opened up all the packs i pulled multiple Alternate Arts I Am very Pleased about the results, And would definitely recommend going to Fable Hobby if you are a Pokemon card collector.

I Will never spend another dime at this card shop. when i found this shop it was because i started back collecting Pokémon cards. One of the owners who is no longer there was the best but the one there now and his employees are horrible. This is not a card shop for people of color. The prices are high they are rude. If u cant trust your employees to make decisions about cards without sending u text messages and pictures then u need to work 24/7. I will spread the word about your card shop and im sure you know who i am. If u don't like people of color just say that. And u need to really train your staff especially Chandler. He talks about customers and doesn't wanna do his job. And u wonder why cards just sit in the case for months because u cant negotiate prices.

Mason is extremely knowledgeable and through his actions provides a great service to the Warhammer community. His uncanny ability to run the shop and teach new players simultaneously sets him apart from others in this industry. I will always come back to this store.
First time visiting this location, and the staff was very nice, helpful and warm, overall though, this was not one of the better locations I have visited. The selection on the baking isle was very sparse compared to others, but overall not a terrible experience. When visiting this location, just go in with tempered expectations.

I'll preface this by saying I haven't written a review in years; yet I felt compelled to for this amazing store. To start, the prices ARE GREAT! Consistently this store has lower and fairer costs than other Portland shops. Furthermore, they always have inventory for those hard to find products (for me, magic the gathering). To end, I'd like to express how awesome the owner is! He is an incredibly kind and obviously passionate player of countless card games. His knowledge alone makes me want to stop by his shop. He makes me proud to support my local game store and I look forward to seeing his continued success. He very much deserves it.
Came in here for the first time the other day to get some Pokémon stuff and was not disappointed. One the selection was great. But two the pricing is wonderful it's not a complete rip off like 99% of other card shops. I was even looking at things that I had found really low prices on else where before coming here and somehow they still had a better price here so I'm definitely going to be a returning customer

Excellent store that my kids and I love coming to. Our focus is on Pokémon cards and there is always an excellent selection of packs, boosters, box sets. The owner is very knowledgeable & very kind and patient, too. I have also ordered online and had boxes shipped to me, and the transactions were smooth and seamless. My wife and I love Oxford Gaming Center. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean and has plenty of space for gaming. They have a good variety of comics and games, including Pokémon, Magic, D&D, and board games. Prices are fair, and they are will help you learn if you’re new to something.
Great people! Great place! My home away from home lol. If you like collectables, comics, pokemon cards they are the place to go. If you're into Magic the gathering, any platform, they are the most knowledgeable people I know. Nearly every Friday is Modern, and Thursdays is Commander. Always something going on with friendly knowledgeable people!
This place has bailed me out more than a few times with lovely last minute gifts for my wife. Always super friendly associates and a lovely rotating selection at their holiday and seasonal tables.
I’m not a big Pokémon fan but this place is very nice and clean inside. I asked about baseball cards and the employee was very helpful and brought out all of them. The prices were amazing and he even gave me some free. I definitely recommend if your into Pokémon or sports cards.
Great place. Friendly ownership. They offer a bit of everything in terms of card games, from Pokémon to Magic. They have snacks and drinks you can buy while you play. Would highly recommend. Especially shopping and supporting local.
Attentive staff and a large playing area. Smaller board game and card selection, but they had the most recent and most popular items. Convenient location with great parking, but beware of the sink hole while turning into the parking lot on the west side.
Rated this wonderful location incorrectly before, have come back to ammend. Great pricing, timely customer service, dependable sourcing. Had a postage issue before, but it ended up being a clerical error of USPS. 4 boxes of MTG booster delivered across the country in a few days flat, no shipping cost.

This coming Sunday, I've made the decision to pay a visit to a friend of mine whom I haven't seen in a very long time. After high school, we didn't get an opportunity to meet each other anymore. This shop is close to my brother's house, so I thought it would be best to visit here and look for a modest present. It was my first time visiting here, and it was a pleasant surprise; I had no idea there was a place like this in this neighborhood.

They also have journals in a variety of sizes, and they also have gorgeous sets of gift wrappers, which are available for purchase separately. And, before I forget, the outside design of this establishment is just stunning. I'll surely come back here to pick up some more goodies for myself.

Salesperson No. 831562 (Elisabeth) is incredibly good at her job. I really really loved her energy and she was helpful in all ways! Lots of cards and stationery options here, will definitely come back for all of my paper needs. Card deals aplenty, buy four cards and get the fifth card free. Might as well stock up.
We went with four boys and four adults today. Everyone had a great time, and the boys didn't want to leave. They had cars and controllers for us to rent, and the family that runs it was great to us. Definitely going back.
Had a SIKTC #1 foil listed at $55. Trying to negotiate a price, I found multiple sold listings on eBay at $35. I offered $35. I was told if I wanted to pay $35 I could "buy it from eBay". I just bought one from eBay. I've never been to a comic shop ever where anyone behind the counter doesn't want to make- or negotiate on - a sale. One of the owners has great customer skills. I hope you get to deal with him
First time visiting any track whatsoever. I just got a slash recently and really new to RC. It was a lot of fun getting to run my car here. Everyone there was friendly. I'll be back again.

The best place to get gift bags, bows, cards, wrapping paper, etc. It’s a little pricy but worth it to make the gift feel more special. Love the selection of loose wrapping paper displayed on the racks (not sure what it’s called). I used one to line a cupcake serving tray to make it more on-theme.
The staff at the Paper Source were very helpful and seemed a bit overwhelmed but managed to be very creative with all of my family gifts this Christmas 2020.
The Paper Source is a treasure in the "Windy City". I rely heavily on this place to help me prepare to celebrate all things holiday for my Family and Dear Friends. They will not disappoint.

Great store if you enjoy doing hobbies. They also have a huge selections of holiday decorations no matter what the holiday is and most of it is very affordable.

A very friendly and knowledgeable staff is willing to go the extra mile to make your visit a lot of fun and really comfortable. They work well with everybody from really young children all the way up to senior citizens. Prices are reasonable. And they not only have a full size slot car track, but an HO one as well.

The actual track looks great and those who I talked to were nice but the place is an absolute mess. I honestly think that if they were able to clean the place up a bit, it would attract more people.

Took 10 family members here, what a great time. The racing was fun and reasonably priced. They had old arcade games from the 80s that were $0.25 to $0.50. The staff was very helpful getting started and friendly throughout the whole night. If you want to race as a hobby they have that as well. We all had a great time and would go back again.
This store has been here for several years, and I can understand why. It's not just about invitations, wrapping paper, or other paper goods; their gifts are excellent. If you want to get something unique, you'll find it here. In fact, you'll probably have a hard time choosing what to get. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. A good shopping experience with quality items.
This is the branch where I had my wedding invitations prepared and printed. I'm very satisfied with their service, and I can recommend them without reservations. I would definitely repeat business with them again. They were very professional, very patient with my requests, they had an extensive choice of providers, styles, fonts, paper and decorations, and they were at all times aware of the deadlines. They gave me a clear timeline upfront, and they were always on schedule. They clearly do this all the time and know their business inside out. Strongly recommended.
As far as the craft supply store is concerned, they really have an amazing selection of paper and cards, and a decent selection of writing instruments including a few calligraphy pens. I'm more into fountain pens, and unfortunately they don't carry fountain pen inks, but that's a minor issue.
